Cider Riot!

Cozy, chill, friendly staff. Looked this place up about two weeks before my visit to Portland and when I got there it did not disappoint. Took home a dry cider and enjoyed that through the rest of the weekend. Loved the look of the inside, felt like home/library/mancave if I can describe it well enough. I tried a flight of ciders and my friend grabbed a pint of a seasonal brew. Glad to have stopped in!

Love this place, super good cider with tons of choices. Great place to visit when you are new to the area or on vacation. Right down the street from Burnside Brewing, so ya can't beat that. The food truck was good as well.

It was really quiet on a Saturday PM. We were the first customers. Had a flight of ciders. Wide variety. Cool spot. Would've given it 4 stars had we been there at night probably.

I'm a pretty avid hard cider drinker and have been for many years. From the moment I was introduced to Cider Riot hard cider I was a fan. I'm so glad they were successful enough to open this brick and mortar tasting room! If you do not have a lot of experience with cider or Cider Riot ciders, I recommend getting a flight so you can sample a few things. Each time I have come in here the staff has been really helpful in explaining the taste profiles of all the ciders they have on hand. I always get the feeling that the staff likes working here and is as passionate as I am about the cider. There is a fairly large area for you to enjoy your cider samples so cider sampling with a group is no problem. If you don't have a large group, I suggest sitting up at the bar counter so you can learn more about the ciders as you sample. I believe they show all of the Portland Timbers games (if you like that sort of thing). They also have at least one food cart outside in case you get a case of the munchies while enjoying your cider. After all your fun at Cider Riot, be sure to check out their case of take home ciders. They are cheaper from here than at your local store and they also offer up some limited release ciders here. The cider here that is distilled in how is great! There is a wide range of tastes suited for everyone. The area is spacious, great for gathering with friends. There is also a small area for darts, for those looking to have some low key fun while drinking. Outside the entrance, there is a seating area for those who want to bring their own food or buy from the taco truck next to the building (I have yet to partake). Also, on the entrance wall is an awesome painting, which makes for a cool photo opportunity.

One of the best places to hang out on this side of town. Pleasant atmosphere, nice staff that make you feel welcome. They do flights of their wide variety of ciders and take the time to describe each cider (unlike some other places I've been to where they just drop the flight off and leave you on your own). My parents enjoyed it, and they are some of the hardest people to please because they're accustomed to boojie places in New York and California. Very clean (bathroom too, always important). Bonus: in the winter they make a warm mulled cider to warm you up!

Amazing cider selection for people just getting into cider or experienced cider geeks. All pallets handled here. Always knowledgeable staff who can help you find the cider you want. Also had great music events, so check their board! Plus I love that they support Portland community events with the diversity that exists within it.

Tried every cider on tap, loved each one of them. Highly recommended!!
