Google
The whole family enjoyed it. Very charming and authentic atmosphere. Good prices and portion sizes. Service was good - always like when they come to refill the chip + salsa bowl before you ask!

Google
We were on vacation & had lunch at this restaurant. We were a party of 10 adults & 2 children. The service was top notch. All The servers were super nice & catered to our every need. The food was delicious, served hot & came out pretty fast for us being such a big party. For how busy they were they did an amazing job! I love going into a place & the staff being in a great mood & this restaurant definitely has a good atmosphere.'

Google
Everything was great. Service was fast. Food was great and fresh. Everything was season well. Everything was hot. The server didn't check on us enough. I wanted another drink. But he didn't come back until was done eating.

Sutton F.

Google
Ok, so this place has been me and my husband's Friday date night spot for many many years now. The food is absolutely amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming, and very casual. . The service is always spot on, this is one of the only restaurants in Pigeon Forge that we have never had a complaint about one single thing. Not saying we complain, but you know what I mean. It's definitely become a staple in our town. So if you're coming to visit us here in Pigeon Forge make sure you give them a visit. You won't be disappointed I promise.

Google
Very delicious and authentic. Me and my wife shared a parrillada and it was more than enough and had leftovers. DELICIOUS! Very friendly staff and and fast service.

Google
Food was very good and came out quick. This is definitely a great little food hole in the wall place you don’t want to skip out on. I’m only giving it 4 stars bc the rice was a bit hard and they didn’t have cheese dip without jalapeño. Every Mexican restaurant typically has and should have both options available: with and without jalapeños.

K L.

Google
This is some of the best food I've had in a very long time. Our server was attentive and conversational, the restaurant was clean, and the prices were on point for the amount of food. Highly recommend.

Dawn G

Google
This was our first time trying this restaurant. The service was quick and polite. Food was amazing, large portions.

Yelp
Muy rica la comida, con un autentico sabor mexicano y muy buen servicio recomendado

Yelp
Started out disappointed. When we arrived they were full and told us to wait outside for 20 minutes... which it was quite cold. There was no waiting area so that sucks... facility is a bit small and host was quite rude. Our waiter was kind and quick but quiet. The building was nice and well painted (cute decor) The cups were huge!! The cheese dip was $4.99 for a small, but it fed 3 people and was really good the salsa as well! The chips were a bit stale. Boyfriends food was cold although mine was good, minus the wet tortilla. Totaled to $102 for 4 adults and a kid. They pre-added the tip and charged $1.50 for sour cream which was not brought out. If I lived in the area I would probably return I'm sure it's fun for the locals... although visiting I would not return.

Yelp
Small hot and bad service. If you go get a female waitress and not one of the young dudes with the "Edgar" haircut . Chorizo was all fat and flavorless and left a red ring of grease around the entire plate.
google avatar

Tabitha H.

Yelp
Salsa was tasty and the chips were really good not greasy like typical chips. The salsa had a lot of flavor and a slight kick. Four enchiladas plate bean enchilada just tasted like sauce. The cheese enchilada was made queso. The rice was tasty. Three enchiladas chicken was the favorite the beef seems strange. The rice was good. Enchilada, burrito, tamale. The chicken was really goo in the taco and burrito. The tamale was stuffed with pork that was good. The shell was hard which threw me off. The flavor was good but because it was hard it made it difficult to eat. The beans were slightly runny, the rice was good. Cheese enchilada and chicken taco. The enchilada was blah. I didn't like it at all. Then they gave me a beef taco instead of chicken which had a very different flavor. The ground beef was pink and something just was out of my flavor realm. When I go the chicken taco that was really good. The rice was really good it was well made Mexican rice. The beans had a slightly different flavor and were slightly runny. I am not sure what the flavor was but if I mixed the rice with the beans they were ok. Heavy usage of mozzarella cheese in dishes. The service seemed good to start then kind of faded a little bit. The feel of the restaurant was a Mexican flair. It was decorated in bright colors and was bigger on the inside than I expected. Being from AZ I eat a lot of Mexican food and I am basing the tastes on what I normally would taste.

Yelp
Amazing food. The service is out of this world. Very happy place. We come here every single year sometimes 3 to 4 times a year we love it. The food is very reasonable pricewise and the mango margarita is amazing. Definitely two thumbs up

Diane G.

Yelp
We're from Lawrenceville GA and this is the best Mexican restaurant we have been to. The service was great we got our food in record time and the food was delicious. If we lived here we would come weekly. High light of our vacation.

Yelp
This place is busy but I guess that is pretty normal in this area with so many visitors. We had to wait about 15 minutes for our table but once we were sitted and placed our order the food came very quickly. Chips and salsa were good. I'm glad they are able to accommodate vegans and their vegetarian section of the menu can be made vegan in most cases. I had the veggie fajita with no sour cream and cheese on refried beans. M. had mixed fajita with beef, chicken and shrimp. Both dishes were very nicely flavored although to salty and pretty greasy. He also had a glass of Mexican beer which they have on tap (Modelo especial) and it's very cheap. Considering that this is a very touristy town this place is one of the best option for not expensive and good food.

Alex L.

Yelp
Servers were kind of off putting and acting strange. Ordered my food brought out something I didn't order took one bite and asked for a refund the waitress started shaking and walked away.. another woman with glasses came back and asked me "what's on the dish I ordered" like I'm a baby and I don't know what Mexican dish I've ordered 1 million times so I said a refund would be great considering I didn't eat it and was denied a refund . People unless you have a local kick for this place just avoid it the vibe is so off and you'll be forced to eat whatever slop they throw at you. Just AVOID IT!!

Yelp
Food was good. Service was good! Location is small and the restrooms are in rough shape. Overall, it was good but I don't know if it was great enough to come back again.
google avatar

Mari H.

Yelp
I love the decor of this restaurant. It is so authentic. The margaritas come in these adorable mugs and are delicious, the shrimp fajitas were amazing, and the service was exceptional. I'm so happy we found a wonderful Mexican restaurant here in Tennessee!
google avatar

Yelp
After a long drive, I expect to get a good meal. This place fulfilled all expectations off good food. Good and fast service.
google avatar

Juliana J.

Yelp
The molecete' and the chunky guacamole were both top notch. So good. Loved this Mexican spot!
google avatar

Debbie F.

Yelp
I walk in and instantly feel like I'm in Mexico. I saw the reviews and was cautious but my visit was Muy Bueno. The chips were clouds of heaven..light and fresh along side the salsa that carried the same fresh taste. I ordered a margarita..small as they had 3 sizes to choose from..and it came with great presentation and was delightful to drink. I had the taco salad..no beans. The flour shell was great, usually their inedible but not this one..mmmm My grandson had a quesadilla with rice and the quesadilla was perfect..fluffy and full.. the rice was on point with full flavor. I enjoy these little nook places that look like old mexico. It usually means they cook like it too and here I feel they did.
google avatar

Kendra H.

Yelp
Food was good I got the chimi beef tips my husband said it was the best and it was good. He got the enchiladas he didn't like the enchilada sauce. Service was just ok not terrible just sorta slow, we also heard a lady cleaning the tables tell another table that asked for silverware that she wasn't a waiter and just walked away rudely. It's a very very small place. I would eat here again if I'm the area. Noting that the cheese dip was spicy more spicy than most queso we ordered it for our 4 year old daughter but she was able to eat it she just had to get used to the heat.

Rich L.

Yelp
Love the food, but they are constantly out of Margaritas. Would give 5 stars if it were not for the Margarita issue.
google avatar

Sybil B.

Yelp
It was worth waiting for a table! We were a party of 7 and were glad that they were able to find seating for us. I loved the Pollo fundido.
google avatar

Pablo E.

Yelp
To start the table was wobbly and the menus were dirty. I hate dirty menus. The chips and salsa were good. We ordered the La rancherita enchiladas with mushrooms very good. Spinach dip a bit watery and needed salt. Tamale very little meat way too much masa.

Dan C.

Yelp
Food was excellent and portions were generous! Very tasty and hot when served. Definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.
google avatar

Steph C.

Yelp
This is what they call fajitas. The fork shows you how much meat they put in the fajitas including zucchini, broccoli and mushrooms. Also, bonus ants in your food that have taken up residency on the tables. Not impressed. At all.
google avatar

Don H.

Yelp
Super solid Mexican place, especially for a tourist trap. My wife said this is the best pollo loco (chicken and cheese) she has ever had. My burrito with stewed pork, shrimp, and chorizo was delicious. Great table salsa. Felt like a little hole in a walk place so the vibe was right. Service was decent. And the prices were great for being in a PF. Would definitely return.

Yelp
We stopped in here after a day of hiking and it was exactly what we needed- quick chips and delicious salsa, affordable prices and flavorful filling food. The family next to us where eating there for the second day in a row! Food came quick and we were happy campers! We would eat here again! The kids meals were super affordable and filling, the cheese nachos filled the plate and my husband and I were able to split the fajitas for one and still had left overs. Great spot when you're hungry!

Arleny L.

Yelp
the food was amazing! it had great flavor and cooked very well. Portions are good and fill you up. Definitely will come back.

Crystal G.

Yelp
It's an easy to miss little place off the main road but definitely has all the feels and vibes. Awesome and fun decorations. We were seated almost immediately, and within 2 minutes, our server was there with chips and salsa ready to take our drink order. Since we ordered margaritas, we figured it would take a little bit, like most restaurants, but before we knew it, 2 perfectly made strawberry margaritas were placed on the table. Had questions about the menu and needed adjustments, but the server was quick with answers. Food was also placed on the table in record time. I got the Burrito Especial, good size burrito, and very tasty. If you're in the mood for Mexican, go here!!! The menu is huge and several pages or I would have posted that too.
google avatar

Tracy M.

Yelp
The food is always delicious! I love their fish tacos and their salsa is fantastic! We eat there at least once a week when we are in town!
google avatar

Debby N.

Yelp
When you go to a Mexican restaurant the number one thing you expect them to have is margaritas! I looked up this place that said 'authentic and family owned' and expected it to be great.. but they had no liquor license so no margaritas???!!!! I would've gotten up and left, but the traffic was crazy and we had been driving so long so we just stayed. I got the mushrooms, rice and beans. It tasted ok but needed something FRESH on it, so I ordered a side of pico (which they charged extra for). It definitely gave it a kick and improved the flavor. If your cooks read this, please add some fresh to this dish! The waiter was soooo nice! He really made the experience better, given no margaritas and a screaming baby.. grrr.. I know the restaurant could not control this , but omg this baby screamed the entire time we were eating! People just do not respect other people's time and money, and it's horrible that so many people in the restaurant had to deal with it, and these parents that don't respect others.
google avatar

Kimberly C.

Yelp
The service that we received was good. The meal portions were big, but the food was nothing special. The restaurant is small, out-dated, and the temperature inside was freezing.
google avatar

Wayne T.

Yelp
I gave this place 3 stars because we waited almost an hour for our food. While waiting nobody ever asked us for another drink or gave us anytime frame of when we were going to be getting our food. The food was okay and the margaritas were not made properly. I love Mexican food and margaritas, but this is a place I don't think I will be back at if I were ever to go back to pigeon forge

Conley C.

Yelp
They had amazing service and GREAT FOOD!! We felt like we were in an authentic mexican restaurant.

Yelp
So this is a tough one to review, I actually thought the food tasted good and so if I were to only go off of that the score would be higher....but I went to the bathroom and also went to pay the check. The bathroom was very dirty and felt like it hadn't been cleaned properly in a while and so that's not great but if that's it whatever no big deal. When I went to pay the check there was a roach crawling down the wall and that pushed it over the edge. I get that this could be a one off and maybe the bug got lost but with a dirty bathroom and seeing a bug so close to the kitchen it pushed it over the top for me. I won't be back, also lastly my wife ordered a taco salad and the beef was barely cooked it was still extremely pink almost raw looking... I will be avoiding this place next time.
google avatar

Anna S.

Yelp
In me and my family's opinion, the chips are horrible. They are super greasy and inedible. Our food took over an hour to make and there is barely anyone eating. We got to the place at 7:30, we got seated at 8:10, and we left waiting for our food at 9:00. We had left before our food was even confirmed and they still tried to make us pay for the food that we didn't even receive. All in all, I would not recommend.
google avatar

Correen B.

Yelp
Definitely not the factory feel of many of the restaurants in PF - real people, real food, very reasonably priced. We walked in close to close if time and they took fantastic care of us. Food was delicious! My kids would like you to save room for the churros. They had sold out of chiles rellenos and tamales (apparently they are awesome!) so get there early if those are on your list. If you are not a fan of the big chains and like excellent Mexican food, give this place a shot.

Kyle B.

Yelp
food is perfect. the ambiance was authentic Mexican with beautiful music. the service was amazing, super nice people and amazing food.
google avatar

Stevo B.

Yelp
Salsa was pretty good, and the steak tacos were way above average, but it was overall decent, and definitely good for the price. They need some margarita pitcher specials.
google avatar

Penny R.

Yelp
Tourist area yes... quality food for the price. Everything we ordered was full of flavor and did not all taste the same! Enchiladas are stuffed full. Carne Asada is marinated and served with all the trimmings. Tacos had a crunchy shell. Margaritas were poured well and served in the large heavy glasses. Happy hour is not very happy... only $1 off of margaritas that are overpriced. They serve food fast. The wait is quick to get a seat. A good place to go if you are hungry or have teens to feed!
google avatar

Brian H.

Yelp
Best Mexican food on the Pigeon Forge strip. Margaritas can't be beat . The other location in Vonore is just as good . Either location you can't go wrong . It would be nice if they had outside seating or at least a bar at the Pigeon Forge location , but they really do a good job checking on you to see if you need anything .

Cassy C.

Yelp
First we walked in and smelt weed right away. Then they sat us and the table and chairs were dirty. Then we sat in the back with the chairs, then it had food again on the table and chairs and food all over the floor. It was very dirty and the floor was so sticky. We got up and walked out we were so disgusted!! Maybe they got great food but first impressions are a huge deal for me.
google avatar

Adam M.

Yelp
Really great service Authentic food Well priced Kid friendly Good location Go with the pineapple fajita
google avatar

Patrick H.

Yelp
Good local Mexican food if you want something different. The place looked a little dated on the inside and we were concerned about the lack of customers inside, but we were eating lunch a little early. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the house specials. The chips and salsa was very good and as it turned out we all had a very good lunch at an affordable price! I would surely visit again when I come back.
google avatar

Andrea M.

Yelp
Service was great. We are from Houston so hard to beat our local Mexican food but this was good. Chips, salsa, and food were fresh and tasty. Margarita was on the sweeter side but still great!

Mary P.

Yelp
Food was WONDERFUL and big portion sizes! It is a wonderful dinner if you are on a budget and still want delicious food! It is a small restaurant, so there was a little wait, but it was well worth it. Service was great!
google avatar

Tera V.

Yelp
Great and quick Mexican food. The interior is colorful and the service is attentive. I had the Pollo Coaxayan - chicken breast with chorizo and cheese. It was rich and flavorful!
google avatar

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Stopped in for carry out one night. Food tasted good, but the portions were very small and everything was in a pool of liquid. I ordered the tableside guacamole. I wouldn't really call is guacamole. It was just big chunks of tomato, avocado, and onion in a pool of lime juice. I also ordered a fajita and it was a small portion in a very large pool of liquid. Really my meal here just left me craving more food.
google avatar

Geran B.

Yelp
VEGAN FRIENDLY!! Yayyyyy The have a list of vegetarian dishes that you can quickly make vegan by asking to hold the cheese &/ sour cream! Went to other Mexican places and I can say this is the best Mexican place in pigeon forge, and the veggies tasted fresh and so delicious!

Peter B.

Yelp
Food was great and locally owned and operated. Really good service. Drinks and beer were great. Smaller than most of the restaurants and far more personal. We really enjoyed it. Not a chain!
google avatar

Pasquale R.

Yelp
When you think TN you dont think good ethnic foods...well surely your wrong. We stopped into this unassuming spot. Walking in you knew it was authentic! It was clean, inexpensive and delicious! We started with their complimentary chips and salsa (love that the salsa is in a glass container and they give you small bowls to pour it into so no double dipping and you have your own)! We also ordered their guac which was more creamy than chunky (i prefer chunky). The beef burrito and quesadilla were winners for the kids. Their rice was delicious. I could eat bowls of it! My steak burrito don lupe was kind of let down. Tortilla & steak and nothing else inside...and some cheese sauce on the top. It was good but I am used to my local spot which stuffs them with beans and other goodies...it was good but I was expecting more. The Ms. had their enchillada's which she enjoyed. They also have some kick butt margarita's... Service was good. Prices were awesome. As I mentioned inexpensive. ENJOY!
google avatar

Pamela D.

Yelp
Good but last time I ate here my beef tacos were raw . I have not been back since then.

Alyssa T.

Yelp
We were going here for our anniversary dinner. Upon getting inside we overlooked the awkward quietness of the restaurant and the run down interior that looked like it was about to fall apart. We were seated and handed chips and salsa within the first 5 minutes so we were pretty optimistic about the restaurant. 25 minutes later we still hadn't been served at all. No one asked what we wanted to drink even. The lady that gave us our chips and salsa walked by us 20 times. Hearing the tables next to us (since they were literally 2 feet apart), everyone else was dealing with the same thing. One couple had been waiting on their food for an hour.
google avatar

Nick P.

Yelp
Arrived around 511pm. There was no line or wait to be seated. I was seated almost immediately and server arrived within 3 min of being seated. Placed my order of a bottled Corona and fajita taco shrimp. I requested no guacamole when ordering the side items. I received my corona which was semi cold. At 600 I saw my server for the second time which was for another drink. ( I finished my first at 540). At 618 received my dinner which ended up with guacamole on it. It was sent back and looks like they scraped it off. The shrimp was chewy on the taco. The lettuce was not green and crisp. Beans and rice was barely warm. I probably will not return seeing that they was not that busy and I saw my server a total of 4 times.

Yelp
This place is everything you would want when looking for a place to eat. The atmosphere is amazing and very home like. The staff is incredibly nice and nothing but smiles. Not to mention the food is also great the complimentary chips and salsa were very yummy and we got a bowl of queso and it was just as good. My girlfriend and I decided to get the arroz con pollo and were not disappointed. It comes with 4 flour tortillas and the portions are huge. We were checked on quite often by our waitress (Karla) and she was very deserving of a great tip. I would definitely recommend eating here. We will be definitely coming back when we visit Pigeon Forge again.
