"Cin Cin’s loyal band of customers come for its great value Italian food, where fresh ingredients are simply cooked and natural flavours are allowed to shine. You can create a different experience every time you visit by sitting in a different place: in front of the open kitchen, at the horseshoe counter, gazing out the window onto the street or in the calmer rear room. Wherever you choose, the terrific homemade pasta is a must – look out for the daily special on the blackboard. An all-Italian wine list completes the picture." - Michelin Inspector
"Cin Cin is home to high-end, high chance of encountering the word ‘Venetian’ Italian dishes. It’s also home to a warm date-ready wraparound bar and an arancino that comes with a side of lip-smacking garlic aioli and, inevitably, delighted expletives. This tennis-ball sized medley of rice, tomato, and slow-cooked pork ragu is a hero of the BN3 Hove postcode and the perfect way to start a meal in Cin Cin’s private garden. It’s all very idyllic San Gimignano by way of Western Road. Be aware that prices can stack up quick here, but stick to any dish involving the words ‘ragu’, ‘artisan', or—ding ding ding—‘saffron gnocchi’ and the spend will be entirely justified. photo credit: Phoebe Rossi" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

"This Italian bar and kitchen in Fitzrovia is a Brighton import that serves a bigoli with such perfect al dente bite that we have officially added ‘stop eating mediocre pasta’ to our five-year life plan. It comes in a Venetian duck ragu that is so deliciously rich, you won’t even be mad that this plate of pasta will set you back £17. Outside of epiphany pastas, Cin Cin is also home to some big-price, big-summer-energy fishy mains and satisfying little Italian small plate classics. Ideal for date night and aperitivo-fuelled four-hour catch-ups, their sophisticated dining room is a truly lovely place to be but when the sun is shining, you can’t beat their quintessentially London pavement seating. Affogato and limoncello shots encouraged." - Heidi Lauth Beasley
