"Capacity: 40 (75 standing) You can reserve the mezzanine at Cinque Terre, an Italian restaurant in South Lake Union, for 40 people. It’s not as flashy as the main dining room, but it’s perfect if you want to schedule something professional during work hours and also just want some really good Neapolitan pizza." - Aimee Rizzo

Beautiful restaurant! Truly impressive. Felt like a mix between being in Italy and beach front in Newport, very luxury yet casual place. Lovely bar. We were upstairs for a private event and the layout was amazing and high end. A+ service from the staff combined with bomb a$$ food! Man. We went like 2 hours over because the 4 course meal was so good and our conversations never ended. Wonderful place. Highly recommend. Great value for the price too. Super walkable area.

Good price for the quality of food, ambiance, and service. Suitable for business meals, not too noisy, great ambience. I think they made the pasta themselves. Love the texture of it. I had a light cream fettuccine seafood, it was great. Portion was generous, too. The staffs were very friendly and good at upselling :)

Google
Food is quite overpriced for the quality that is served. The food is good, but it would be considered adequate rather than outstanding Italian. At a bare minimum, the sauce should be incorporated into the pasta, not slapped on top. The pizza and pasta was definitely better than the short ribs that lacked flavour. The hostess was really friendly and we were happy to be seated in the bar section as we walked in. But our waiter for the night appeared disconnected which made the suggested minimum 22% tip seem rather rude.

Cinque Terre Ristorante is hands down my favorite Italian restaurant in the South Lake Union/Downtown Seattle area. The service is attentive and very helpful when selecting dishes / wine / drinks. Even better, every food item and drink that I’ve tried on the menu is always made to perfection. The seafood tastes fresh and the drinks are delicious. Pro tip: order the seafood soup on a cold day :) Chef’s kiss.

I will definitely be back next time in Seattle. Beautiful ambiance the decor is both modern and classic. Large windows and beautiful furnishings. But the star of the show is the exposed kitchen and the food is incredible! It was a busy Saturday night so we were seated at the kitchen counter with a full view of all the action of the chefs and cooks preparing so many meals with artful precision. I’m vegetarian so I was worried that I would not have sufficient choices but I started with the Ceci and greens (chickpeas) came in a tiny iron skillet in a flavorful smoky sauce was so delicious. I ordered the beet salad with fennel and Gorgonzola was fresh and delicious. The beets were sliced super thin like carpaccio and the fennel also delicately sliced. Amazing! Since I prefer not a pasta dish ( many vegetarians will agree with me that I’m sick of eating pasta as my main because the restaurant has no other vegetarian mains) - I asked the server if they have eggplant because it was not on the menu. Before I knew it I could see the kitchen preparing and baking a half eggplant for me and made it into this gorgeous dish with sauce and garnished. See pics. Server was lovely and attentive. Fantastic experience overall highly recommend!

Our server Mae (we never got her name but that was the name on our receipt) was extremely friendly and one of the best servers we have ever had at a restaurant. We came here for our belated Valentine’s Day lunch date, and the food and service made it feel extremely special (and had plenty of leftovers for dinner). Would definitely come back to try the other menu items.

Food is awesome: very well selected ingredients. Very flavorful. All dishes we choose were very well cooked. Not very spicy. Full of good choices. Lasanha: awesome. Polpo Mario: very flavorful. The best octopus we ever had. Bistecca: what a great steak!! I have no words to express how happy I was with this meal. Ask for medium steak. Pizza Marguerita: not a regular pizza. Very well made in a wood oven. Wagyu Carpaccio: try it! You won’t regret!! Drinks are awesome: I had their version of old fashioned, and it was great. It worths it! Service: very present, cordial, and polite. 200%!! Parking: easy, at the same building and free during weekends.

I’m in love with this place! This is a restaurant, so make sure to be a tiny bit dressed up. We ordered 5 different dishes, and everyone was happy. Pizza margarita ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cassarecce al pesto Pasta ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Tiramisu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Both of the mocktails available on the menu ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The service was great, the music was loud enough not to hear others but low enough not to shout when conversing with the people in your company, the space was clean and neat, the food was fresh, and I definitely want more of that pizza and pasta. In love! ⭐️

Yelp
I was visiting from Italy last weekend and I wanted to try this Italian restaurant that my friends has always told me about. We were 2 and didn't make a reservation but we met Alessia at the door. She's Italian too and she was super helpful (she's also super nice and friendly) and made it work for us to seat and have a wonderful food experience. While waiting to be seated she also suggested us her favorite dishes which turned out to be AMAZING We tried zuppa di pesce, polpo mare and bucatini con cinghiale. Everything was amazing and we'll definitely go back when coming back to Seattle!

Yelp
Returned for the happy hour deal and had another great experience. We ordered: chopped Caesar salad, half dozen oysters, margarita pizza, Bucatini, and a bottle of house red wine. The complimentary bread, oysters, and Caesar salad were the star of the show. I was very impressed with the bucatini though - very flavorful. Will definitely order it again.

Yelp
Had the opportunity to have New Year's Eve dinner here. We had reservations for 10 and had a nice table in the back. This was our 1st time here and the food and service were outstanding, especially for being so busy on the holiday. We love Italian restaurants so we were excited to check it out. We started off with oysters, Caesar salad, and the calamari. Everything was great but special callout on the calamari which wasn't breaded and had great flavor. For our mains we had the fettuccine with shrimp, the bucatini with boar, the lamb shank, and the special lasagna with Dungeness crab. All of the pastas are hand made to perfection. I ordered the fettuccine and thought it was delicious but my wife had the bucatini and that was definitely the best dish out of everything. Highly recommend. Restaurant was nice, modern and clean. A bit loud but it was also a holiday weekend. The only negative to our experience was that the host came to our table and asked us to leave because there was another reservation waiting. They did it in kind of a rude way and I might have been ok with it if we were told we only had a certain amount of time but we weren't. We also weren't there that long either. Kind of ruined the experience. Overall though good food and great waiter.

Yelp
Came here for a late night dinner with a friend on a short trip from Bay area and it was a nice cozy dinner spot! Food- Good variety of classic Italian dishes that many people would be familiar with. Taste was a solid 3/5. Price point and portion not surprising for downtown Seattle standards. Good option for a last minute meal. Ambiance was definitely the star of the show! Beautiful place to enjoy the downtown seattle vibe! Great service-- really enjoyed the young female server who helped out! Very attentive, helpful when asking about the menu and friendly overall! Solid 4-- definitely will be back when I have more late night visitor friends in the future (:

Yelp
I enjoyed a Friday night dinner at 7pm in mid-November with a colleague who was attending a conference. This chic restaurant is about a 10-15 min walk from the convention center and is close to the Amazon spheres in the Denny Triangle neighborhood. It was a little pricey, but a memorable last supper in Seattle. First, the service is attentive when you arrive at your reservation time. I ordered a glass of wine while waiting for my colleague to finish his meeting. The interior blue light is relaxing - would recommend this place for friends or couples on a Friday night who want to celebrate the end of a work week. Second, the pasta special with lamb was delightful. My colleague enjoyed his chicken parmigiana dish a lot. The only tiny blemish was the olives and cheese appetizer which was meh (reminded me to Trader Joe's - nothing special). That said, for the atmosphere and service, I would recommend this place if you're not in a rush. We did not have any dessert.

Yelp
A must go to modern Italian restaurant with great ambiance, delicious food, and fresh local ingredients. The space is large with bar, main dining, and upstairs seating. When you walk in, the host is very friendly and the same service standard continues throughout the entire time. The drinks are all perfectly crafted with bold flavors. The carpaccio a very large and flavorful. They also have fresh Taylor Shellfish Farms oysters that rotate and are prepared up front. There were many dishes to choose from and all sounded fantastic. Will be back to try more of them. They have happy hour everyday with 1/2 off lounge food and it's all day on Sundays. A must try for a low key dinner or drinks in an upscale modern atmosphere.

Yelp
Chic, modern interior. High backed booths are comfy and intimate, with plenty of room to spread out and order multiple courses to share. Friendly hostess and a professional and engaging wait staff. The bathroom has calming lighting and heated seats (always a nice touch). Complimentary focccia with slightly warm, slightly spicy pesto oil dip, bread was pillowy with a great chew. The Pinot Grigio was well chilled and minerally, which complimented the grilled octopus beautifully. The octopus... simply delicious. Perfectly cooked, and accompanied with à sprinkle of broad beans, and a lightly spicy chili oil and unctuous purée of cilantro aioli. Had to sop this up with bread! The braised short rib comes with polenta and lightly sautéed baby spinach, with a few shiitake mushrooms draped on top. The plate was WARM at lunchtime - almost unheard of. Polenta had a light skin on it, likely from the heat lamp, but was tender and creamy. The sauce was piquant, reminiscent of a barbecue sauce; which was good but not my first choice. The spinach is delightfully lemony. The short rib was a good sized piece and cooked well - the perfect balance of tender and shreddable, without being dry. A meal this good, in such a beautiful setting, demands dessert! There is a great selection. I went with the lavender citrus panna cotta and a simple espresso. Wow.... This required à moment of silence; it was that good. Even the espresso is perfectly brewed (which is saying something in this town). The panna cotta had the perfect consistency, and à whisper of lavender. The raspberry coulis added just the right amount of tartness. I visited during Seattle Restaurant Week, which advertised two courses and a glass of wine for $20. The restaurant pricing reflected $35, which is a bargain for this level of quality. No complaints here. Chris, my Sherpa for this culinary experience. was an absolute delight. He brought the rating to the top tier. And to cap the meal off, Chris suggested a chamomile grappa. What a beautiful flavor profile. So smooth and warm; this is what you want to drink next to a crackling fire while it's snowing outside. I will be back...often with friends.

Yelp
The happy hour is so phenomenal here I almost want to keep it a secret. First off, it goes until 6:30 PM. Secondly, All lounge food is 50% off. The fresh house made foccacia with pesto dipping oil they serve at the start of your meal is to die for. We ordered 2 glasses of wine, steak, caesar salad, and octopus appetizer all for around $50-60. Everything was great. Love the open kitchen. We want to come back and try the amazing looking pizzas we kept seeing being brought of of the oven. Very kind and attentive staff. Classy ambience.

Natalie H.

Yelp
My friends and I really enjoyed our dinner here. For starters, we walked in and were seated quickly despite not having a reservation. We were served bread and a delicious oil for dipping. The inside was trendy and decorated for the holidays. Our server was kind and gave excellent recommendations. I loved that their signature cocktails were named after the five Italian cities of Cinque Terre. They also have non-alcoholic options. The grilled octopus was the star of the show, and the other dishes (chicken parmesan, pesto pasta) were also delicious. I'd love to go back for their happy hour and to try more of their amazing food menu!

Krysten I.

Yelp
What's better than all day happy hour on Sundays?? I can think of no other way I'd rather spend time on a rainy Sunday other than sipping on glasses of house white wine and indulging in delicious fresh oysters Cunque Terre is located very close to the Amazon parking lot entrance, so it's really convenient. Their menu looks great, but I just came for a drink and some oysters. On happy hour, pretty heavy pours of white, red or rose wine are only like $7 and a half dozen oysters is $15. Lounge food is all half price. The oysters come with an onion vinegar sauce, lemon and shaved horseradish. They were perfectly sweet and fresh. I would come back to try some of the other lounge food because they looked like interesting options and for half price, it's really very affordable. The ambiance was perfect. It was dark and romantic and outside, some trees were strung with Christmas lights that sparked in the misty rain. The floor to ceiling windows provided an excellent view. Service was a little weird because happy hour is only served on one side of the restaurant and apparently only at the bar counter.... But I wanted to people watch and asked to sit at a table which the hostess kind of reluctantly allowed me to do. I'm definitely coming back for happy hour next time I'm in Seattle. Hopefully it's not busy again...

Vivian N.

Yelp
I'm always eating here for my company dinners! Staff is very attentive and food is always so good! Happy hour is affordable and delicious! Beautiful location and parking isn't so bad! There is a parking garage near the Amazon spheres.

Yelp
Came here for a late dinner. It wasn't very crowded but it did take a long time to have our food ready... The waitress was very helpful - answering all our questions and providing recommendations. I had the white peach spritzer, which was okay. My pasta (which I forgot the exact name) came out okay too - it has some kind of fish ( very small few pieces) and lots of squid. It wasn't very tasty though. The bread crumbs made it pretty crunchy. My friends liked their entrees though. The settings in the restaurant is very nice. It wasn't crowded or noisy at all. Overall, a good place to go.

Sandra N.

Yelp
The service at this place was incredibly odd. I arrived first and wanted to order appetizers so it'd be ready when the others arrived and the waiter basically stopped me and strongly suggested the polite thing to do would to be waiting for the others. the others knew I was trying to order and asked why I hadn't when they sat down. I've never been stopped from ordering before lol kind of odd but maybe a formality they wanted me to follow. I do think the food was alright, definitely not worth the price. portions are extremely skimpy in terms of thickness of meat cuts vs price. the dessert was amongst the worst i've had. definitely skip dessert. overall I wouldn't come again and recommend against overpriced seattle restaurants

Nina H.

Yelp
I proposed this spot for a large group work lunch and I was very glad the folks at Cinque Terre impressed! Everyone loved their food and the service was amazing and food came out super fast. I got a meat ragu but wished I had gotten fish because everyone's fish dish looked so bomb. My coworkers who got the chicken park loved theirs too because it came with gnocchi!

Marie G.

Yelp
The pasta is all made in house and I enjoyed that. The calamarata al pesce was good, but the pasta was a little underdone (maybe 30 seconds longer and it would have been a perfect al dente) and the fish was a little over-salted but it was still good. The panna cotta was amazing!

Lily P.

Yelp
Really nice space and service was really nice! I think it mightve been one of the owners or something that was helping us and was very friendly. I tried the bucatini with wild boar and overall it was very good, although maybe I'm not as into such hearty meats. I would recc tho! Margherita pizza I wish was not as flimsy in the middle. I like my pizza to have a bit more structure. But I think also that makes it a more traditional neapolitan pizza haha. Im a fan of the outer crust though! Surprisingly, I was most impressed by the complimentary focaccia!! The bread and the olive oil are so flavorful... and the chewiness of focaccia can never go wrong

Estella K.

Yelp
This is conveniently located near the Amazon SLU offices and I finally had a chance to check it out! I recommend going after 4pm to find easy and accessible parking at the Amazon corporate office garages as they have free parking starting at 4PM we came in for their HH hoping to get a couple drinks and apps but ended up feasting!! The ambiance was great- tall ceilings, big glass windows that let in natural sunlight.. the vibe of this place added to the experience For starters, we ordered oysters (I think this rotates on a daily basis) and a bottle of wine for $15 & $27, respectively. For food, we ordered so much because we thought the portion would be half as HH pricing is 50% regular pricing- calamari, pizza, steak, and Di Mare (and opted to add pasta to this). Their happy hour menu was STACKED and portion size was amazing. Highly recommend checking out this place especially if you're working in SLU and wanna beat the traffic back home

Sarah W.

Yelp
We had a really nice waitress (I wish I had gotten her name) and the food was delicious. Loved the complimentary bread and oil. Definitely don't skip out on dessert (I recommend the tiramisu). A nice, modern Italian restaurant!

Brittany D.

Yelp
I loved Cinque Terre! I went here for a special occasion, and my experience was definitely made special. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant felt very fancy and romantic, and the light fixtures were very cool. The server Keegan was super friendly and helpful; he's hands down the best server I've ever encountered. He made sure our waters were replenished and came over to check in multiple times. He was also very knowledgeable about the menu. There was complimentary bread with a dipping oil, and that was so delicious that we got three rounds of it. I loved how fluffy the bread was; it was clearly freshly baked and so flavorful. We ordered the speck e burrata, spaghetti con polpettine, fettuccine ai gamberi e limone, and pizza calabrese. The speck e burrata was a yummy appetizer. It tasted a lot like prosciutto, and it was topped with arugula, olive oil, and some delicious, creamy burrata. For the spaghetti, the meatballs were flavorful and tender. I loved how the pasta was al dente. The fettuccine was similar in how the pasta noodles were al dente. The prawns were super tasty and juicy, and the sauce was so yummy. I enjoyed the tang of the lemon zest with the shrimp. Although I was a little too full to eat much of the pizza, I enjoyed how fluffy the crust was and the cheese pull of the mozzarella. I normally always have a little room for dessert so we got the vanilla gelato and received a complimentary tiramisu with candles. The gelato was refreshing and tasty with the fruit. I liked how light the tiramisu was, and I'm not a coffee person so I appreciated how there wasn't too much espresso flavor in the tiramisu. This experience made me feel like I was back in Italy, and between the amazing food and the top-tier service, I'm definitely looking forward to coming again!

Kamini S.

Yelp
The best dish is always the fettuccine for me. It is the best Alfredo take I've had in Seattle. So creamy and the lemon zest is so subtle but blends in beautifully. The shrimp soaks up all the flavor really well. You have to get this if you come here!!! We ordered the lasagna too but it was not as good. The star was clearly the fettuccine. My friend ordered the seafood pasta which was also not as good, too strong of an olive flavor. For dessert, we had the panna cota and tiramisu which were both so yummy. Not to mention, they give you free bread and garlic oil which is soooo good. I kept asking for more to which our server happily provided. The servers give great wine recommendations for your dishes too - they're happy to give you a taster which I appreciate before paying for a whole glass. Our server actually messed up our order and brought us a pizza - he ended up giving us the pizza for free and brought out our original dish within 10 minutes. Great service! The ambiance is quite upscale. Seems right for a fancy date night, it was easy to have long conversations, we could hear each other very well. I would DEFINITELY come back!

Yelp
Foods: no complain, grilled octopus was perfect, fast and still hot to enjoy. - Pizza is good, just right and simple the way I like it. House wine is not bad so I order a bottle. :). They did allow you to try even before asking. For the price, it was fine. Service: Excellent and sitting at the bar is a good option for me. Able to get a seat right before happy hours ended without waiting in a Fri. The crowds start to show up. Ambiance: good place for couple, date night, friends get together for a good Italian dinner on a Fri to celebrate the weekend. I will be back again to try other dishes next time. Good location too. Not sure about parking, but it's Seattle. Not yet a five star bc I need to try other dishes.

Katrina M.

Yelp
How have I not discovered you before?! OMG prob the best happy hour in the area if you're a foodie. There are an amazing number of food choices from the main menu on the happy hour menu and all at half off. By far our favorite was the carpaccio, a large platter that was adorned with fresh Parmesan and arugula. I would totally go back for this alone! You will also find entrees in the happy hour menu, like a grilled octopus or wild boar buccatini for example. The discounts are only available in the bar area so be aware. We went when it started at 3 pm and it was wide open. However prob optimal to go around 4 pm as it's still early enough to get a seat and you can get free parking in the Amazon garage.

Eric T.

Yelp
Nestled in the still graffiti-free section of downtown Seattle, this Italian gem serves up the old favorites with a gourmet flare. The meal starts with a fresh baked foccacia and tasty garlic pesto dipping oil. You cannot go wrong on your main with many enticing selections. Ask your server who will steer you to one of the favorites of the many who enjoyed the dish before your visit. Finally, while we did not have wine or dessert, there are some impressive Italian selections and several choices of decadent sweets.

Tura L.

Yelp
One word: Go! The food is spectacularly fresh, beautiful presentation and don't skip the bread and pesto dipping sauce. Lacey was our server, she was phenomenal. What a treat to bring family into town and take them to the Spheres and follow up here. Highly recommend.

War V.

Yelp
Restaurant was outstanding. The was food was great. The Lasagna was great it was the best I have ever had. My and son had two different kinds of pizza they both agreed it was outstanding. The side dish we had was Calamari all three us agreed it was outstanding. The cleanest of the restaurant was outstanding. Restaurant restaurant very clean.

Jennifer K.

Yelp
The sunday all day happy hour is probably my favorite thing of this year so far. The cozy chic interior, bidet included toilets, great staff and amazing food just won my heart completely. The hh offers 50% off lounge menu which is expansive. They bake their pizza with a pizza oven and the dough tastes AMAZING. We ordered the steak, boar bucatini, marg pizza, blanca pizza, frutti di mare, ceaser salad and the octopus. We also ordered several drinks and the total bill came out to only 150.... Can you believe that?! This is a must come if you are looking for a great dining experience.. after a long week of work, all you deserve is good food, service at a very good value!!!!

lakshmi n.

Yelp
Average food, they ran out of bread. Not worth the price, the waiters were just busy and going about their business. Not coming back

Heather H.

Yelp
Stopped in at the bar yesterday after being treated rudely at your sister restaurant Barolo. We like the menu there and saw yours was similar. With great wines by the glass. The bartender was FANTASTIC! We each had a glass of montepuchino and the grilled octo. Both absolutely delicious! The bar was fun, clean and the room was bright and airy. Thank you for the great experience, after the disappointment at Barolo. We will be back!

Sherri L.

Yelp
We flew into Seattle the day before our cruise and decided to wonder around town to take in the sites. We ended up outside Cinque Terre Ristorante. It had good reviews so we opted to wait 15 minutes for it to open up. The bartender Cody sat us down and mentioned he was helping out our waitress, but while we waited for her he would be happy to make us a cocktail. My sister spoke up and said she was dying for a Bloody Mary. Cody sadly explained that they were currently out of mix and he couldn't make one! So we sent him away to look at our other options. My sister actually said maybe we should go somewhere else. While we were contemplating what to do, Cody reappeared asking if we'd picked anything else out, only to hear my sister once again state how much she would LOVE a Blood Mary. He said, "Well, we have a sister restaurant across the street, let me see what I can do," then he disappeared. Ten minutes later he reappeared handing my sister a spectacular looking drink topped with enough items to make a small sandwich and it was made perfectly too! Kudos to Cody for going above and beyond to make our visit to this restaurant a memorable experience. All the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. I highly recommend stopping in here if you are in the Seattle area.

Yelp
Made a reservation for 4 to celebrate an engagement! Darko, our waiter was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. The decor and ambiance was perfect. All of the food was amazing! The pesto with the included bread was to die for. We had 4 plates of it. We also had the muscles and clams for a starter. We ordered the Bradato di Manzo (short ribs), Bucanti al cinghiale (wild boar and pasta) and the steak. Everything was so good. They brought out terramisu for us to celebrate and we also ordered the canoli. Would absolutely recommend and return again. We are so grateful to have celebrated a special moment with great food and service

Sin-Yaw W.

Yelp
It's a 4-star review downgraded for the service that disappeared on us. I called ahead for a party of 7. They sat us on a nice big table. The server was all smiling and accommodating, yet we felt rushed as the plates were removed quite promptly. The mussels and clams were delicious. We forgot to order the optional pasta and asked for it. "Of course," she said. And neglected to mentioned she charged us a full "adult pasta." At the end, we wanted another dessert and no waiter could be found for 15 minutes. This is the sigh of the management trying to push through another round of services and decided this group of tourists will never come back anyway. They forgot yelpers keep group memory. Back to foods. The octopus was superb, pizza very well made, and pasta excellent. This is a high-quality Italian restaurant whose foods will bring smiles to the faces. It's also not cheap.

Amy D.

Yelp
A great spot for happy hour (Monday to Saturday from 3-6:30pm or 9pm-close & All day Sunday). We stopped by on a Sunday for happy hour and were seated at the bar within 15 minutes without a reservation. Sunset Rose ($17) HH Frutti di mare with spaghetti ($17.50) - Came back for this after 2 years and the recipe has changed. Not as flavorful as last time but still good. HH Bucatini al cinghiale ($14) - This was the star of the show. I'd come here just for this. The pieces of boar were so tender and the bucatini was cooked to perfection. Definitely recommend this!

Rach C.

Yelp
Didn't have much expectations, but it was so good. Bread and fresh pesto were complimentary and I had to ask for seconds because it was amazing. Pastas were all fresh and you can really taste that these pastas were handmade. I got the fettuccine and it was amazing. I think it was one of my favorite pasta places I've tried so far.

Sir K.

Yelp
I had walked by  CINQUE TERRE RISTORANTE million times before and had finally stopped in for dinner recently. The one thing that I thought of was how some people consider minimalistic design to be cold. This was completely the opposite of that. It was welcoming, comfortable and took full advantage of the space. The lighting was soft. Which means that you had to stay close to your date. The food only added to the ambiance. As I discovered that my pasta was made in house. The drinks were creative and caught the eye even before you took your first sip. All in all, with the combination of several regions of Italy, freshly made pasta, and a sense of romance in such a minimalistic place, I can highly recommend this place.

Nishad J.

Yelp
I came here for a holiday work lunch and it looked like the same was true of most of the people here. I liked the European vibe (even if the hallway on the way in is a little cramped) and the general ambiance. As far as the food went, the bread and the chef's selection charcuterie board were the best things we ordered. I appreciated the local farms listed that they sourced their food from, but the pesto pasta was just okay. There was another vegetable garlic pasta also on the menu, but didn't see too many other vegetarian options. I think the rest of my team really liked their food, but if you're vegetarian maybe skip this spot!

Zermin A.

Yelp
Modern and elegant ambience with open kitchen and high ceilings! Excellent Vibe and Buzz! Limited menu but everything looked delicious! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! Excellent service but because the place is so big it was hard for us to catch our server's attention when we needed it. However whenever he was present, he was kind, professional and friendly! He just had too many tables to juggle alone. Excellent price point! Great location! Overall a great experience!

Lucas C.

Yelp
The food was amazing, and I left stuffed. For a starter, I ordered the beef carpaccio. It was amazing, and the seasoning helped set the arugula flavors in the meats. My main was a fettuccini with prawn and lemon, an absolute joy. The prawn tasted fresh, and the pasta was soaked in flavor. Each bite was heaven. A family member also got a chicken parm, which tasted incredible as well. The servers were incredibly nice, and even thought the wait was long, they acknowledged it. Very fancy restaurant, and a generally "posh" vibe. This is now one of my favorite Italian restaurants.

Kevin P.

Yelp
We found this awesome restaurant, here on Yelp, and liked the posted reviews & pics enough to make dinner reservations on OpenTable. The food was very nicely prepared and delicious, we were happy to find this place & know that they are FARM 2 TABLE fresh! Three of us dined in the main dining room, sat in a booth by the window, and enjoyed a crafty cocktail: Tequila Old Fashioned with Mezcal, perfectly crafted and tasty! We enjoyed the following dishes: Polpo grigliato (Grilled Octopus) $21 - Yummy!, Spaghetti con polpettine (house made spaghetti, pesto, olives, veggies) $25 - FRESH and delicious!, Romana con pinzimonio di aglio e acciughe (Caesar Salad) $17 - large portions and best tasty Caesar we've had in awhile, Brasato di Manzo (braised short rib, polenta) $45 -delish! Also had a few Red Wines by the glass, which were equally enjoyable. Service: EXCELLENT ! things we loved about the restaurant: -Farm 2 Table fresh -creative craft cocktails -extensive wine list -house made pastas -wood fired pizza Highly recommend and can't wait to return.

Yelp
A bit overhyped for what it is, but always down for an Italian meal!! Cinque Terre is a bustling, loud, neon restaurant in downtown Seattle close to hotels and less than 10 mins from Pikes Place. Food options include pastas, pizza, seafood, fish, and meat dishes. Seattle has a hopping food scene, so when we read the reviews we thought this place would have serious, authentic Italian. We ordered a bunch of different dishes to share and try - everything from oysters on ice to pesto. The food was quite good - nothing like Little Italy, but good. However the ambience, noise level, and ambience leave much to be desired. Recommended if you are in town for conference and happen to be within walking distance - but Would not recommend going out of your way to come here if you are a local.

Yelp
I had dinner with a friend here recently and we were seated at the bar. The ambiance is really nice and cozy here, the music is a good level for conversation. I would come back to try the happy hour menu!

Yelp
We were hosting friends from out of town when he said he wanted to eat at another restaurant. The website said, "No reservations needed for less than six", so we didn't make a reservation. When we got there they had said that we did, indeed, need a reservation. So we trumbled down the street and walked into Cinque Terre and they were nothing but accommodating. The atmosphere is lovely. Our server (Chloe) was great. And the Fettuccini was out of this world. Lovely experience. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Pastas are pretty decent. Tried the oysters for the first time ever and they were good too. Would go back for the ambience and their amazing tiramisu!! Staff and service is great, very patient and sweet. Giving 4 for the tiramisu

Yelp
Along with their sister restaurant Barolo, Cinque Terre has what I consider to be one of Seattle's best happy hour deals with 50% off their bar food menu. I consistently come back for happy hour and you can just get so much high-quality food for such a great price. It is really affordable and high-quality which keeps me coming back. For happy hour, you will be seated at the bar, and sometimes you can watch the chefs cooking your food in front of you which is always a nice ambiance. Some of my favorite items to order here are the antipasti, the grilled calamari, frutti di mare and their margarita pizza. Everything is very fresh and tastes great- you really can't go wrong with what you order here. The service is super quick and attentive and they were happy to accommodate my request for more of that complementary focaccia. This is a really great spot for Italian in downtown Seattle!

Yelp
Big plates, great service, and elegant flavors! Other reviews mentioned service being an outstanding quality at this restaurant and they were absolutely correct - there was not a single staff I talked to who was not friendly, polite, and professional. We arrived a little earlier than our reservation time but they still sat us down at the bar and provided us with bread service before seating us at our table. Our server was also very helpful in her recommendations! As I was not very hungry, I decided to order the Polpo Grigliato (an appetizer) to start with before I ordered the carpaccio to share with my friend, who ordered a Bucatini Al Cinghiale, for herself. The texture of her pasta was great! The Polpo Grigliato was cooked really well with just a slight char to the end of it and mixed well with the sweeter and creamy lemon sauce. The carpaccio was a surprisingly big plate - definitely more of a salad appetizer but the beef and rucola combination worked well! The place itself is elegant and I think you're paying for exactly the type of service and food you want. My only comment would be the lighting near and inside the bathrooms being a little too darkly lit - it does take a few seconds for the sensors to activate the light in the bathroom and yet, it was still quite dark. Otherwise, was grateful to have a fine dining experience here!

Yelp
As I'm making a big move to NYC in the next few weeks, decided to come down and celebrate at this restaurant that was recommended to me. Had a great experience having Ericka as my server, and everything I had were recommendations from her. She really made the night with bringing the tiramisu out with a sparkler and just making everything feel very personable! Thanks for the great service, will definitely be recommending my friends to stop here and ask for Ericka to take care of them.

Yelp
On the first day of our food adventure in Seattle, Cinque Terre Ristorante was our sixth stop. My friend, Christy had recommended this restaurant as a great option for happy hour, and I couldn't have been happier with her choice. The restaurant was divided into two sides. The dining room was classy and elegant, with white table cloths, while the bar side was more lively and casual, with bar seating and low top tables. We were promptly seated, and Christy quickly requested an extra table to accommodate our expansive order. The bar menu was extensive, and the selection of wines was diverse. I was delighted to find that the prices were extremely reasonable for happy hour. We ordered a variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. You can always tell when ingredients are fresh, and Cinque Terre certainly didn't disappoint. We went from one glass of champagne to an entire bottle (the price was too good to ignore!). I definitely want to go back and visit next time I'm in Seattle. Although I regret that we didn't get the carpaccio (sorry Christy!), it gives me another reason to come back!

Yelp
The second floor of this restaurant is not ADA-compliant. CAUTION: there is NO elevator to access the second floor. They have had since 1990 to comply and have failed to do so. It does not take 34 years to install accommodations that allow access for all people. This is a blatant violation of human rights

Yelp
Darko was a phenomenal server! Attentive, informative, and obviously knew his stuff when it came to Italian cuisine and customs. The bread here is absolutely h amazing. Fluffy, soft, and flavorful but not overwhelmingly salty. We ordered the Mista salad to start, the spaghetti all'ortolana, and the prawn fettuccine. The salad we could have gone without but the pasta... fantastic. The prawn fettuccine is a definite winner, one of the best I've had. I'll be back for it!!

Yelp
Bread, oysters, clams and dessert was good. Service was lack luster, besides busser he was friendly. Main course (short rib) lacked salt, added and still bland. Wanted to like this place since our bill was $200 with tip but no. Room for improvement.
