"If you’ve ever wanted to live in a loft apartment in a converted factory space, but you’re not a 12-year-old who magically transforms into adult Tom Hanks, lands a job at a toy company, and then enters into a (let’s be real here) sexually confusing relationship with Elizabeth Perkins, then head to Cinquecento in the South End. There isn’t a giant trampoline in this former factory space, but there is a really fun Italian restaurant that makes great rigatoni with fennel sausage. I absolutely adore a traditional Italian pizza and Cinquecento fulfilled my expectations. The only issue I had was it’s extremely compact, you are seated very closely to other people and it’s a bit uncomfortable. The desert was very rich not my preference but was feeling experimental post main meal. Overall the experience was nice and would encourage people to try their pizzas.

A cute little pizza spot that certainly feels authentic, with most of the staff being Italian. The pizza’s were delicious with a good range of toppings on the menu. If you are sat downstairs you can see the pizzas being prepared and cooked, which adds to the experience. The folded pizza was very tasty, and for the first time trying one it didn’t disappoint. Sadly the service was slow, we had to wait 30-40mins for our desserts. Overall an enjoyable experience, just a pity about the wait times.

Good pizzas but service is messy and chaotic. Asked for starters to be served first, all food came together! Kept on getting up to get cutlery, ordering wine, paying the bill. Not great. Fritto misto is ok but very stodgy. Very loud music prevents you from having a conversation.

Cinquecento never disappoints! Every time we’re in London, it’s a go-to spot for truly authentic Italian pizza. The dough is perfectly light and airy, with that signature Neapolitan char, and the toppings are always fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a relaxed meal. A special shoutout to Mini, who provided fantastic service—attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better. If you’re looking for top-tier pizza in London, Cinquecento is the place to be!

I cannot believe that I’m actually writing this, but I never even had a pizza as delicious as this one in Italy! And I’ve been there quite often. Absolutely love Cinquecento, which the first time I stumbled upon coincidentally, and multiple times on purpose since. The pizza with mortadella and pistachio (Romagnola) is my favorite, but they also have delicious starters and desserts. A must-visit for me every time that I am in London.

Our favourite pizza place. It is genuinely the best pizza we’ve ever had. We come every Friday and it’s a tradition now. You cannot go wrong, everything on the menu is delicious. Shekar is our usual waiter, he is so kind friendly and accommodating.
