A lively rustic brewery in Nantucket, complete with live music, tasty food trucks, and an expansive beer selection, perfect for a fun outing with friends.
"A local brewery offering wine, a distillery, food trucks, live music, and a gift shop."
"Nantucket’s most famous brewery has three bars serving Cisco craft beer, wine, and cocktails, and is an essential island hang. There are plenty of picnic tables and food trucks like Big Hug Dumplings and the Lobster Trap Truck. Cisco gets crowded at the height of the season, but it’s pretty much the perfect vacation day drinking situation. Just know that it’s sort of in the middle of nowhere, right off Hummock Pond Road. "Local Beer, Wine, and Vodka One of the most popular spots on the island, Cisco Brewers began as a winery 25 years ago and has now grown into a destination that showcases offerings from the Nantucket Vineyard, Triple Eight Vodka, and the Cisco Brewers beer label. Summer weekends there is a lively crowd listening to music and taking advantage of the food carts and raw bar. For a tour and a more intimate view of the production, visit during the week. There is a seasonal shuttle available and the new bike path makes Cisco all the more accessible."
"No trip to Nantucket is complete without visiting Cisco Brewers, located about two and a half miles from downtown. It feels less like a conventional brewery and more like an outdoor festival, with multiple bars, tents, and food vendors daily. (COVID-19 may impact this vibe. Call ahead to confirm day-to-day details.) It’s also child- and dog-friendly. If you’re without a car or bike, never fear; a shuttle van makes the trip from 23 Federal St. every 20 minutes. You’ll probably need it after you sample Cisco’s extensive range of beers or have a few Triple Eight cocktails." - Katie Faust Stryjewski, Eater Staff
