It's suspicious that charges are for "custom items" presumably so they can manipulate prices. The cashier lowered the correct price only after I questioned it. Aside from that, they have the best inventory compared to other nearby stores.

They over charge for items. Check prices online not to overpay. I bought an item that was 10.99 online and 79.99 in their store, realized it only after i had left the store.

Affordable price and customer service is satisfying and guys are very polite and professional.

Insanely rude staff and grossly overpriced products I found the exact same Snus product at a place called Sid's for $6 bucks less?!?! Makes no sense. But hey if unprofessional employees and overpaying is your thing definitely the place for you.

As you'll read from other reviews they'll ID you, so just remember to have that. Great customer service, I went in for a Hookah, to save you the trip, $180 for hookah, $50 for minis and they don't sell foil or coal. You can also online for one day delivery 5/5 for good, loud music and speedy service

My friend came in here to buy her hemp to go. I've been looking for a blueberry small vape that a co-worker had given me to try. I actually like it but haven't been able to find it. So I take a look around. Nothing but this location had a large selection of different items to buy. I'll hope to go back next year.

Left a bad taste in my mouth. I was in downtown for the day with my child and friends Friday night, we came to the smoke shop, they asked if the child can come in and they said no. My friends went in to browse and one came to switch places with me when she was done. When I go into the store, she immediately asks for my ID. Not my two friends with pink hairs ID's, but the woman with the kids ID. When I ask why she checks mine and not everyone else's she says my other friend was in earlier, but that was a lie, and what about my other friend? She was also cold and rude. How about you check everyone's ID.

These guys ID'd me twice even when they asked for ID as customers walk-in. The guy who ID'd me for the second time had literally checked in with me inside the store 5 minutes before. After buying some papers and paying at the entrance of the store, that same guy stopped me on my way out to see if stole anything. Hah what a joke

This place should be shut down. In September I purchased fake Myle pods and Juul pods from Canada that they sell for double ($30) Dubious business practices here. Beware.

I'm not someone who loves weed and has recently started dabbling in CBD for sleep. Unfortunately it looked like the gummies I bought at the legal store in Brookline weren't really cutting it for me. A girlfriend wandered in here last week looking for advice and ended up with her new favorite product. She promised me that the staff and selection here would make me feel comfortable and that we'd find something perfect for me. We immediately met Neil, the owner - though I didn't know he was the owner, and Neil completely listened and understood what I was looking for. We talked about everything and he wasn't a salesman at all - mostly like the knowledgeable friend that knew how to help. After about 20 minutes I had exactly what I needed, my dad had some CBS arthritis cream (can't wait to give it to him!) and I finally didn't feel like an outsider looking for some relief. This was hands down one of the best customer services experiences I've ever had, and product is second to none. As good as it gets.

Don't waste your time or money. Bought a vape for a costume. It was sold to me with batteries. Got it home, no batteries. Had to go back for the batteries. When I started testing the product it wasn't working. The chamber leaked and the unit got so hot you couldn't hold it. I tried to return the defective unit but because it was after their 24 hour window they refused to take it back. I will be reporting to BBB and secretary of state. $200 down the drain.

They definitely take care of you and just like a barber shop the people always remember a face and are very kind and adjust to meet your needs. Whatever flavor they may be.

I bought vape cartridge for $60 here. The second day I have it it stops working. I thought it was my vape pen, so I used my boyfriends. The cartridge still didn't work. Made sure both pens were charged, and still nothing. Honestly it sucks because they say all sales are final. But if the product itself is faulty, you should be able to return it. The guy at the shop specifically recommend this Vape cartridge brand, stating it's better. Would not recommend this store at all. Have had better customer service at other smoke shops as well.

So let me start off by saying that this spot has a MASSIVE selection of basically everything. They have an entire wall dedicated to Juul pods, which is insane and shows you how much space they have for everything else. That being said, there are issues with this place. Getting service can be a challenge sometimes. Partly because they have to check IDs on anyone who walks in and because they just don't have enough people working there. BUT THE BIGGEST ISSUE is their general policy of overpricing. I had to recently replace my Suorin Vagon vape and they were charging $60, which I thought was pretty insane and I decided to head to the smoke shop right around the corner on Bromfield. $40. Instantly $20 cheaper. Also Suorin sells their vagons for $30 on their own damn website! So City Smoke is literally charging double what the company themselves are charging. Very greedy. So just be advised, though this place has a great selection, you may save a TON looking elsewhere.

By far best smoke shop in Boston! Reasonable prices and great selection. Bought an ash catcher earlier today, and fell off my long board on the way back and broke it. I went back to get another one and Aramis and Calvin both recognized me from earlier in the day and asked what happened. I explained the story and they gave me a discount on the second one. They definitely didn't need to, but will forever have my business now.

Julie was soooooo helpful! Four months I've been thinking my own was broken and there was an old piece from a different cart. She was so informative and sweet! I've literally been to several other shops and this was the best.
