Really nice spot! Huge draft beer selection with plenty to choose from. The beef tacos were solid, and the pretzel bites (that were in that empty basket) disappeared pretty fast and were surprisingly good. Bar service was neat and quick too 🍻

I stumbled across city works after shopping in Arsenal Yards for a quick drink and some apps to watch the March Madness game. I was very overwhelmed by the menu and had no idea where to start. Thankfully the bartender Olivia was kind enough to walk me through the menu options as well as suggesting her favorite items even though the bar was slammed. As a first time customer here, I was impressed by the way the bartenders take the time to connect with their clients even though they are visibly busy. Overall, the food and drinks were amazing and the service was outstanding. I applaud City Works for their quality of business in all aspects, especially their eye for hiring staff that genuinely care about their customers.

The server Mai was fantastic. She took care of us and was super sweet & attentive. The food is also quality you can tell the kitchen knows what they’re doing. The beer selection is endless and local flavors are amaIng. The manager was very friendly they showed us love even though we’re from New York! Haha

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. One of the standout features was the speed of service—my order was taken and served in no time, which was perfect since I was on a tight schedule. Despite the quick turnaround, the quality of the food did not disappoint. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and clearly made with care. Overall, this place is a gem. Great food, warm atmosphere, and efficient, friendly service—what more could you ask for? I’ll definitely be coming back!

Had a fantastic meal last week at CityWorks with my coworkers. My buddy Johnny got the Nashville wrap and said it was “outstanding”. I got the fish tacos and they were tremendous. Our server Hana was very polite and attentive to us throughout the experience. She gave us great recommendations on the menu. We are already planning our next visit back. 10/10 experience!

Google
We had a great dinner at City Works during a recent visit to Boston. We were staying at the Residence Inn and were able to walk from the hotel. The area called Arsenal Battery is quite nice with lots of shops and other restaurants. It was festively decorated with holiday lights. We sat at a high top and enjoyed the many screens to watch games. Mario was our server. He was attentive and helpful. I had Spicy Shrimp Skewers - a Chef’s Favorite item - and my husband had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries. Both were excellent. We really enjoyed the warm Chocolate Cookie served in a cast iron skillet with vanilla ice cream and whipped cream for dessert. Highly recommend City Works!

Google
Maddie was our waitress and she was seriously amazing. Super friendly, easy to talk to, and on top of everything the whole time. She made great recommendations, kept our drinks full, and checked in just the right amount. You can tell she actually cares about making sure people have a good experience. Big shoutout to Maddie—she made our night even better!

Google
Just an amazing experience every time. The fish and chips were exactly what I was looking for! Light and airy and not just a big slab of fish. Come in and look for D behind the bar. Just a great personality and an outstanding guy!

Yelp
Great outdoor patio, good selection of craft beers. The food menu offers good choices, but the beer selection and the big screen TVs are the real draw. Parking is out front or around the corner in a free public garage. We now stop in for happy hour and can either stay and eat there or eat in the larger mall area.

Yelp
Our server was awesome on Sunday 8/4, I wish I'd remembered his name. He was very friendly and happily checked with the kitchen about an ingredient for me. Great menu knowledge. My fiancé had a beautiful Bloody Mary with lots of toppings. The linguini has chicken and sausage, but I removed those and it was awesome. There was just the right amount of sauce and the veggies were cooked perfectly. Enjoyed cheese curds as an app. We miss Boston already :)

Jack J.

Yelp
Mediocre food at best: ordered the Ahi Tuna chopped salad. Maybe had 2 oz of tuna in it over $20! Beer wasn't cold. However our server was great. 2nd try here and last time. Beware

Susan D.

Yelp
Stopped in for a weekend breakfast. The server was friendly and attentive- well informed about the menu when I asked questions about a few dishes. The food arrived quickly after ordering. I enjoyed my eggs and sausage. Appreciated the parking lot outside. There's also a garage with free parking. Large bar looked good for seating for a future visit.

Yelp
Six of us got lucky at prime time on a Friday night to get a high top. Chairs are padded and have backs and are very comfortable. Everything else was just okay. Service started off okay but after we got our food, no one was offered another drink, dishes not removed. They were super busy which I'm sure is the reason. Food-wise, those of us that had chicken in our dishes all agreed that the chicken just wasn't good. Guessing it came as frozen pre-cooked chunks. The texture was weird and no seasoning at all on them. I did like the other flavors on my cajun chicken pasta though. The best dish on the table was the Vegan Kung Pao Cauliflower but it was super oily. Also didn't care for the fact that the only wines offered were on tap and ridiculously expensive. Brews good though.

Yelp
If this were on service alone it would be 5 stars. Took a star off mainly due to personal preference. My bf wanted to come for brunch. They had a soccer game on that my bf was really excited to see (kudos for playing soccer games, which not all places do). There was a small crowd of fans in jerseys, which added to the spirit of the place. We got the mimosa flight and each got a brunch item. The sangría mimosa was our favorite! Creative twist on the mimosa concept. I liked the challah toast that came with my BLT and liked the bacon. My bf really liked the creamy potato side. He devoured his fried chicken dish, which I don't think we even got a picture of. I think the place might be more of a sports fan fav. I know my bf really likes coming with his friends to see fights or games. He told me his friend's favorite is the Buffalo chicken dip.

Yelp
This is a classy sports bar located in the Yards. It's a good spot to grab a bite to eat, watch a game, and try a local beer on tap. Surprisingly enough I've never gotten a beer here. But they offer so many, that the menu takes up an entire wall! I've only ever gotten the Tex Mex Mac n Cheese. It is pretty good, has a kick but not too spicy where you can't eat it. I will say the service I've had here has always been on the slower side...but maybe I've just been unlucky. Solid spot when in the area.

Suha L.

Yelp
If you're looking for beer, this is a great place to go. If you're looking for food, probably not. Food: I got the City Works Classic Burger. Unfortunately, the burger was not very good. The beef patty was dry, the bread was brittle, and I didn't like the bread-to-meat ratio. It was seasoned well but only on the bottom so the flavors were uneven. The fries were also nothing great. 5/10. Ambiance: Sports bar vibes as there's a ton of beer and sports playing in the background. If you like beer you should come here 7/10. Price: The burger was $17 and it was not good so it definitely was not worth my money. However, the beer prices are good with an average of $8 per beer and you can do half sizes for $4 and free samples 6/10. Overall, would not go again to eat but would go for a drink before a movie.

Yelp
Wanted to get a bite to eat and not much of a choice at Arsenal Yards so decided to give it a try. Been here before and I seemed to wait for the waitperson. Hoping it wouldn't happen again but it did. Very disappointing to start. Waited 8 minutes, while watching everyone coming in getting their drink order but us. So I asked the host where our person was as no one came. He didn't seem to care, said would find him. Finally waiter came. I guess he had to listen to a customer complain about the tv screens because instead of helping us with our drink order, he went to take care of their complaint. So he finally came. Got our orders placed. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, didn't want the bacon. Lettuce, tomatoes with French fries. It was good. Nothing special. My friend had the Mac and cheese, it was good. The other customer complained again so our waiter was busy fixing the table and chair for them while we were waiting for drink refills. When waiter did come around, he wasn't apologetic, didn't bother him we were waiting. So that was disappointing. Atmosphere is nice, sports on the TVs which I enjoy. Why complain about that? It's a big restaurant with clean restrooms. Not sure if I would come again any time soon. Maybe if those customers aren't there, service would have been better. Try at your own risk. Wait time could be a minute to 15, just for drink order!

Norm C.

Yelp
Good location, spacious and big windows. The tv's are good, large screen and all the seats are in prime viewing distance unless you happen to get the few seats that face the other direction. Service was great, Paul was on point with drinks and checked in with us regularly. The wings, nachos were not what I was hoping for. Burger was good and tacos looked good. The fries were slightly on the cold side. It was a busy night, packed house. Overall great experience, look forward to trying the other dishes.

Chuck D.

Yelp
We stopped by after watching UMass vs BC Softball on a Friday night. Arrived around 10pm. First thing we noticed was the size of the room and the extremely large amount of beer listed on the back wall. Ryan our server was very good. He took our drink menu along with appetizers. Beer selection is the draw here. Food was meh, but the beer selection was amazing. We would come back just for that reason.

Neville A. W.

Yelp
Order the chili it is chock full of meat you won't be disappointed. The nachos was loaded. Our dinners were excellent. Can't wait to go back again.

Denise P.

Yelp
Beer was good. Lots to choose from. Fries n salad tasty and fresh. Later, shopping!! D patnod Lic ac Cambridge

Carl D.

Yelp
Great brunch! We all had a different breakfast entree and they were all great. More food than we needed but somehow we ate it all. Service was quick and friendly. Easy ordering and ample choices for gluten-free needs.

Abigail S.

Yelp
This place is ok but some of the food can be overly salty and hit or miss. It is a good vibe for a game day - tons of tv and space, and a fun vibe. Great pretzel and lots of beer and cider options are available!

Gina C.

Yelp
Ouch food was painfully spicy and I enjoy spicy! Service was fine. Loved the huge opened windows.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Mmmm best burger I've had in a long time. And holy moly that beer/booze list! Everyone is sure to find something they like... My husband and I were in the area and stopped in for dinner. We started with the pretzel bites. We both immediately commented on how they did NOT taste like pretzels at all, but french toast!! Not sure if this was on purpose or if there was a mix-up in the kitchen? Regardless, it was not really an issue on our end as we were starving and ate them anyways. For my entree, I ordered the City Works Burger, medium-rare. It came out to a perfect and soft medium-rare as ordered, which in itself is rare nowadays. Fries also seemed like the frozen kind, but I enjoyed them. I would definitely consider coming back here if I'm ever in the area again :)

Gabrielle H.

Yelp
I was so excited to try this place. The beer was fantastic, with a great selection of brews. The food was an utter disappointment. Everything arrived cold and congealed. My salad was essentially Costco spring mix, with four tiny pieces of overcooked, cold steak. Ok, perhaps I shouldn't have gone with the salad, but the burgers were cold too as were the Nachos we shared as a starter. It was March Madness, so perhaps they are better on a less busy night. It was a massive disappointment, and I really wanted to like this place.

Samantha H.

Yelp
This 2 star review is only for the fish tacos. The service and ambiance was pretty reasonable. The fish tacos though... flour tortilla was good (lightly toasted), but inside was sad. Fish batter was mediocre (thick and heavy), fish itself was small and dry, slaw was also dry and not very flavored. And the chips and salsa side was also sad. Chips were hard and some tasted stale. Salsa was okay.

Marnen L.

Yelp
I came here for a late dinner and ordered the barbecued chicken wing combo. The food was excellent, though the service was slow and a bit inattentive. Solid 4 stars... ...except that when the bill came, it had a "3% surcharge", not otherwise explained and not mentioned on the menu. The waitress said "oh, we just started doing that a few weeks ago; I can take it off", and didn't even explain what it was for. She did take it off, but it shouldn't have been there in the first place. As good as the food was, I can't in good conscience support a business that's not honest about its prices, so unfortunately I am leaving this one-star review and I won't be back.

Chanele R.

Yelp
This is your pretty average pub with a few selections for various types of dietary restrictions (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). They have a large selection of beers, and they label which are local (using the general Northeast as local). The food itself was really nothing to write home about. I ordered the Impossible burger, and it was mostly fine, although my bun was burnt to a crisp. (I took a photo.) My husband did the kung pao cauliflower, which ended up being fairly small with a ton of sauce that felt like a soup at the bottom. I didn't have super high expectations from this place, and it kind of hit where I expected. It feels a bit like a higher scale Applebee's as far as ambiance, and the service could be a little more attentive. It was nuts they charged $3.50 for a club soda (not from a bottle or anything fancy, but a splash from the fountain over ice) and then never bothered to refill it. All in all.. pretty meh.

Eric B.

Yelp
Solid place with good food, excellent beer selection, full bar, and a few okay wines. Enough TV that even I have a problem watching the glowing heroic feats of the anointed sportsman. (Nope never seen women soccer displayed here.). It's an impressive spot and will support any size group you want to throw at it. Cost is typical for new places. Staff now that it has matured is polite, officiant, and prompt. It's a big sports bar vibe but your ain't awash in it. You can find a corner where only the music and a medium burble of the crowd covers you deeper thoughts and masks your secret whispers. Anonymous in the throng. Enjoy, have one of their chopped salads. Z

Milorad S.

Yelp
I come here often with my wife and friends and service is great. Today we didn't have a lot of food. Special "chicken kung pao" and spicy shrimp. Server Mario had that split for us, that was a nice gesture. Food is very tasty here, but these dishes would be better with LESS SAUCE. Mindful Mocha tastes PERFECT! Who loves a good coffee, MOCHA would be the right choice! Ambience is good. I really like open space restaurants and they also did nice design. We really like this place. NORMAL PEOPLE come here and that's what matters to me.

Crystal T.

Yelp
If you're in the area and don't know where to eat - choose City Works. If you're looking for a place to eat on NFL Sunday, this is the spot! I just want to get straight to the food and service. We arrived around lunch time and surprisingly, parking was easy to find. We got lucky and found parking right in front of the entrance. The host sat all three of us in less than 5 minutes and the waitress took our drink order as soon as we got comfortable in our seats. Now for the food: Fried Pickles: DELICIOUS. I highly recommend. Duck Confit Nachos: Loved the presentation and I wanted more. It was very tasty and it was enough to feed two people. Mac and cheese with steak: This was my boyfriend's order and he said it was delicious. Ahi Tuna Tacos: Okay, this is where I was a bit disappointed. It was bland and nothing to jump up in my seat about. Isn't the seafood supposed to be the best in the East Coast? They should take this off their menu. Nothing to be excited over. Other than that, our overall experience was great. I was able to watch a couple of games and the menu prices are reasonable. I do recommend the duck nachos and fried pickles.

Eve L.

Yelp
We visited the restaurant on Saturday morning for brunch. Overall, we would not eat here again. As soon as we stepped foot in the restaurant, the lack of enthusiasm from the staff was contagious; if silence and no eye contact were what you were looking for, then this is the restaurant for you. The food runner seemed to be the only person carrying the operations on the floor. Contrary to the low-energy staff, the restaurant's interior is bright and modern. Moving on to food. The restaurant offers no plant-based milk for coffee. Donuts were undercooked in the middle - they were likely frozen. The "chocolate hazelnut sauce" was literally Hershey's syrup. The ball and biscuit sandwich tasted good, and the cheesy potato side was a porridge of cheese. No complaints about Mother's Little Helper.

Adriana H.

Yelp
Although we were seated fairly quick and the restaurant itself was nice and clean in the inside I wouldn't be back because the food was not good. I left a description on each photo of everything we ordered, I hope this review could be of help when thinking of dinning here.

Anne-Marie A.

Yelp
This is a really good one: I go to City Works at Arsenal Yards in Watertown quite often -- convenient, great menu, parking right in front -- Had a meeting there yesterday and also ordered a couple of meals to take home. All good -- til I go home and saw that the take-home meals were wrong. I called City Works and they were great, said they'd take the wrong meal off the charge. Five minutes later, our server, Kelly, called to ask for my address. "Don't worry," I said -- "No big deal." She showed up 45 minutes later with the correct meal -- waaaaaay beyond the call of duty. Thanks to Kelly -- and City Works. She's a keeper and I will certainly be back.

Julie L.

Yelp
Maybe it's because I'm coming from another state, but the portions for this place remind me of Cheesecake factory. Overall, I like this place. They've got a great beer selection and it's one of the later opening restaurants in this Watertown shopping center.

Jean M.

Yelp
Good food. Great service. 90 beer taps. Can't go wrong. I will definitely be going back.

Dana S.

Yelp
The burgers are very juicy. They have a few to choose from. The space is very large and somewhat cavernous , and echoes a bit. If you're looking for a quiet meal this is not it. However, they have great selection of beers and ciders on tap. Like, lots! We were seated quickly, served quickly, and the waiter was attentive. Definitely should try

Yishai M.

Yelp
After perusing some other reviews, i feel more confident now in sharing my experience. Someone said "meh" and I think that's a great word. Went here with a gift card and somehow still spent too much - IMO for one person - for a "meh" salad and ice tea (no refill offered). Vibe is generic grub pub, nothing really wrong with it, no reason to seek it out either. Bottom line - just too overpriced, nothing special.

Peter C.

Yelp
The space inside is quite nice. I ordered the chicken sandwich which, from other photos, looked quite plump. Apparently my chicken was an "A cup" because the breast was super thin. You get a bigger serving at Wendy's or any fast food chain. Taste was good and the fries were good. But for the portion I was super disappointed. The pickles were generous though. I liked that. Also the spicy honey mustard was on the side and also delicious. So overall, quite happy with that. I want to return to see if my portion issue was just a one time mistake. I honestly liked the food enough to give it another go. But I wasn't full after this chicken breast shaving sandwich. Is there a Sushi chef back there trying to slice chicken breast like he's preparing sashimi??

Paul Francis M.

Yelp
Overall pleased with my meal tonight. Cannot remember the last time I had a clam chowder that was thick. Full of potatoes and clams! First couple bites threw me off but was tasty. Ordered meatloaf. Didn't walk in here with the intentions of ordering something other than a burger but caught my eye while looking over the menu so went with it. I enjoyed the greens and the mash potatoes (bomb potatoes!) but was not too hot on the meatloaf. Peanut butter snickers pie, still drooling. End of April and I can say so far this year best dessert I have had so far. So good! For a sports bar it was quite. Sox and Bruins were both on so surprised there were not more fans in here (maybe too far out from city crowd?). Miami and Atlanta were game 5 of nba playoffs but no one cares about those teams up here, right? It's a cool spot. Walking distance from the hotel. Will bounce around other places rest of the week and scope it out.

Allison J.

Yelp
I've been coming to City Works for the past two and a half years. I enjoy the selection, service is usually fine, and the food is tasty. I was looking for a dependable, solid experience when I visited again and City Works hit it out of the ballpark with their food server--Pote. Pote is, hands down, the best server I've ever had in Boston. I eat out almost daily for years here in Boston and so this is no small commentary. Pote was attentive, professional, prompt, intuitive, amazingly friendly and downright amazing. He is a gem in this city and I'll be back to City Works and request Pote every single visit. Thanks, Pote and City Works!

Elise B.

Yelp
In the past I had a nice experience at City Works. However, this past Sunday just before noon, I ordered a chopped chicken salad to go. When I got home I noticed the chicken looked a little off - was dry, stringy, had a lot of white residue and was hard. I called the restaurant and the manager on duty informed me that while they usually make the chicken for this salad the morning of and that they then cool it - that my chicken was made the afternoon prior. I was very surprised by this, but am glad he was honest. He offered to provide me a refund which I accepted, before I could tell him my name he hung up abruptly. I called back and he said he found me in his system. I'm glad he was honest about when the chicken was cooked, and that he offered a refund - but hanging up on me abruptly in a normal, not escalated conversation bothered me more than the chicken.

David B.

Yelp
I have now been to this restaurant 3 separate times and each time it has progressively gotten worse. This experience is solely based on the quality of food and not the service. The service is the only reason this did not get a 1 star all together. Every time I've been there, the soda has been super flat. Someone PLEASE change whatever is supposed to carbonate it. The first time I ordered, I got the steak salad. For $20+ dollars the amount of steak you get is SO small. The second time I went I got a fried chicken sandwich. It this was the wettest sandwich I've ever had. The only reason I went back is because I got a $10 coupon in the mail and decided to give it one last chance. This time I ordered the scorpion burger. I asked for it medium and received it completely well done. Even though it was well done, it somehow still broke the record for wettest burger I've ever eaten. To the point that my hands were wet and the burger bun was soggy after a bite or two. It really felt like I was eating a wet and less flavorful burger that they serve in high school cafeterias. Lastly, the most recent time I was there, there was a literal bird flying around and landing on tables .... Yet no one seemed to bat an eye about it? I won't be back here which is unfortunate because I like the location and outdoor seating and even the service. The food is just NOT IT though. (Also worth noting that all their tables have this copper top on it which smells like pennies .... Interesting choice)

Tim D.

Yelp
We had reservations for a party of 7, we arrived on time and the table was ready. Our server was really great and the food was good. I would have given a higher rating but the person running the drinks made a mistake with my flight and it sat at the bar for 10 minutes getting warm

Maureen D.

Yelp
We planned on dining at City Works last night but quickly changed plans upon entering the restaurant; the "manager on duty" taller, blond/red short hair, greenish plaid shirt, was not at all friendly seeing us arrive. He was extremely curt, unprofessional and rude in discussing possible tables for dinner. We were going to stay but in discussing with my guests, it bothered all on our treatment for dinner and decided to leave. All in my dining party are in the hospitality business, I have worked in private country clubs for years and know exactly what the guests expect upon arrival for dining. We have owned a very successful seafood restaurant in Boston for over 30 years; a smaller independent restaurant, which warrants warm, friendly staff if you want to be successful. "F & B" is a tough business and it is always important to know how to treat potential guests. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Disappointed from Arlington , MA

Kathy N.

Yelp
I was just denied service for a large party walk in. They told us they couldn't seat us altogether. We were debating dividing into smaller groups to get seated but the "manager" came out and rudely said: "You guys really couldn't call in advance?" Excuse me but if I'm showing up at 10pm with a large party, chances are we didn't plan to come here and wanted some late night eats. It was unbelievably rude and to deny us because you don't have servers is a very poor excuse. We came in two hours before closing and willing to sit at separate tables. Definitely won't be coming back here. The food isn't even good, I've been here before.

Ron S.

Yelp
this is the 3rd time I thought I would give them another try. once again the chopped salad I ordered for pick up was terrible !!!!! The menu says avocado is in the salad ! It is NOT! take it off the dam menu if your not going to include it. I gave a 20% tip for the order I picked up and the person at the desk did not even thank me. this place is the worst. I have left 2 previous negative reviews concerning the same issue . it wa over a year ago and thought I would give it another try . what an idiot I am to think it has changed . Clearly, management did not care to address the issues brought to them in reviews The very last time I will give them another chance .

Emily L.

Yelp
Service and atmosphere is nice. Extensive drink menu (did not try). Very mediocre food. What we ordered: Cheese curds: while I appreciate it being smoked, the batter of the fried cheese curd soaked up all of the oil and there was no taste other than stale oil Nashville hot popcorn chicken: this one is more like a spicy bbq or buffalo rather than nashville hot. Also, since it is doused in the sauce, it was unfortunately no longer crispy. I probably would have enjoyed the southern plain one more. Bacon Burger: this patty was DRY and flavorless. On top of that, there was an insane amount of strong red onion. Not only was it too strong, some pieces were extremely large. The knife cuts aren't good which makes it an unenjoyable experience. Also the fries were soggy and lukewarm. Fish tacos: i thought this was alright but my partner hated it. I will say the choice of fish used is questionable. It would have been tastier with cod or something not as dense. I didn't hate the experience but there wasn't anything I'd want to come back for.

Christiane M.

Yelp
good menu but slowish service. nice place for a casual dinner and good food. blackened salmon salad was lovely

Brendon W.

Yelp
Great flatbread and Ahi tuna blt! Service was good and the atmosphere was great to spend time with friends. They have a lot of options for cocktails and draft beer.

Mike K.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch on a Thursday at noon and the place was packed and loud. We were were seated right away and greeted by our server Morgan O. Morgan was great then entire meal being attentive and funny. I ordered a Burnt Orange Old Fashion which was made with Devil's River Rye Whiskey. It was balanced, sweet and flavorful. I would try the specialty other Old Fashions they had on the menu because the Burnt Orange was spot on. I was looking for a quick meal, so I grabbed a Fried Chicken Sandwich with Fries. This was a Buttermilk breaded crispy chicken breast, spicy bread and butter pickles, Carolina mustard BBQ sauce, shredded iceberg, brioche bun. Cooked perfect and pretty tasty. They had a Gigantic Chalk board with what looked like a 100 beers on tap which I would like to go back and try and they had a bunch of different tacos that looked good when they were being brought out I would also like to try. I give them 4 stars based on what they offer, how it was prepared and how the service was. Obviously this 4 stars is not the same 4 stars I give a fancy dinner place where I am ordering oysters, steaks and lobster, but they executed their niche nicely.

Yelp
Indoor outdoor seating. High ceilings with cute lighting. The area all around is also nice. We got the hot chicken nachos which honestly were super good. Only the chicken itself was spicy. We also ordered two salads and fish and chips and would recommend.

Yelp
The food is ok. The decor is extremely nice, you hVe the option of indoor or outside seating. The amount of beer they have is ridiculous. The drink menu will definitely have something you want on it. The one thing about my visit I didn't like the server was deriving her friends seated right next to us and she spent a lot of time there talking and it felt rude to interrupt but at some point I had to cause she wasn't checking on us, just chatting it up. She was very nice tho. I didn't get the changes I wanted to my meal either but I just kept things the way it was.

Yelp
You're going there for the craft beer, amirite? Funny thing is, you ended up at a place you can get some really darn good food! With 90-ish beers on tap and on the wall, you have no shortage of options, whether you drink hoppy, light, or dark. From tasters through full pours, ales to lagers, local or otherwise, the craft scene at City Works is top shelf. Pro tip: a sample pour here goes 6 oz., not your Dixie cup sippers of 3 oz. you get so many other places. Check out the board, or ogle the tapping operation going on being the scenes to find what suits your brew palate. The food options, though. I thought for sure I'd see the same tired handhelds and such, but noooo. The City Works menu is robust, and backs it up with great execution. I sampled the Smoked Cheddar mac while my teenagers killed a Nashville hot chicken wrap and the Chicken Tinga Tacos and left no trace of evidence behind. All three were simply outstanding, and when paired with a Smuttynose Brown Dog ale, my tummy walked away happy. Service was reliable and friendly, and park in the garage, because weather. Check in on Yelp or Untappd and let yourself experience City Works!

Yelp
The ambiance is awesome! The service was good. The food was subpar at best. We ordered the buffalo chicken dip and pretzels for an appetizer. The buff chicken dip was not good at all. There was some cauliflower and vegetable concoction on top which seemed like it was from a can. The chicken was barely shredded. The pretzels seemed to be fried (which was odd). They didn't even taste like pretzels. My kid ordered a kids chicken finger meal and the fingers were mostly breading and very little chicken. I would not go back again as we were really disappointed in the food quality. The only positive was we went during Happy Hour so only paid half price for the appetizers.
