Highlights

Cedar's is a cozy fast-casual haven where Indian tikka masala meets Mediterranean gyros, making takeout a delightful dilemma.

"When it comes to takeout, it can be stressful to choose between tikka masala or a gyro sandwich - but you can have both of these things at Cedar’s, a tiny fast-casual spot that has Indian and Mediterranean food on one menu. It’s not much on the inside, but the fact that you can have falafel and samosas at the same time totally makes up for it. Get the butter chicken." - Aimee Rizzo

When I was searching for an apartment, Brandon stepped above and beyond in showing me the place of my choice at my schedule (sometimes pretty late in the day) and on multiple runs. He even coordinated my showings with agents from other buildings and ensure I was covered there. If you are looking for an apartment, please make sure you reach out to Brandon, you won’t be disappointed

If you end up looking at this place very good option of choice right in the city. Transports great bus right outside. Parking could be better but hey this is by downtown lol. Great size room and nice spot. I met Brandon J one of the leasing agents and he was awesome! Went above and beyond his call to get me my preferred room and he stays on top of his clients even after they move in awesome!

Genuinely wish I could give this place ZERO stars, but I guess the one star with be for the LOCATION and not the building or ESPECIALLY management. If you’re looking for a sign not to move in, let this be it. I’ve never dealt with worse management in my entire life; they will completely ignore you or if you manage to get ahold of them somehow, none of your problems or questions will be solved in the slightest. Moving in is rather easy, but moving out has been a nightmare only because of Arboreal management. They’re either actively avoiding calls or their phone number is outdated, either way, it’s incredibly frustrating that even after a month of moving out, I still haven’t been able to speak to them about an extra charge they put on my account. DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS PLACE. Shawn has been the most unreliable person I’ve ever had to deal with my entire life. It should not take over a month (and counting) to try contact someone to answer questions about the charges to my account. Once again, RUN AWAY. Do not consider this place an option. Edit: Seeing your response is quite baffling. We must have very different definitions of “complete mess” considering this is how the studio looked before we moved in (first picture) and how we left it (second picture). We are aware of the small details in two places, which we fully take responsibility for and understand the expenses, but you cannot say it was a “complete mess” when it’s only those two things. My concern is not the deposit, it’s the fact that even before moving, I’ve been trying to reach out about billing questions and no one is ever in the building or answers emails, texts or phone calls. Will be reaching out soon with the new email, though. Thanks for the help!

Overpriced units, shit management, and fire alarms that go off almost every week, and for sure going off every single month in the 2 years I've lived here. Their response? To text all residents about smoking being prohibited, instead of, oh I don't know, addressing the actual problem.

I live next door and the fire alarm goes off in this building multiple times a week. I don't know if people are being evacuated when this happens, but it happens often and loud enough that I hear the alarms in the next building over and it can be quite annoying when this happens. I cannot imagine how bad it would be to live in this building with this happening multiple times a week. Thought I would warn folks!

This place is a scam. They took my application fee and then denied it without giving a reason. I have 800 credit score and perfect tenant history. They are just trying to steal application money. Was ghosted by the person who assisted with the application. EDIT: Application fee was never refunded and I was contacted by management multiple times to remove my review, which I said I would consider IF they returned the application fee. The staff here is incompetent and having someone go through and write aggressive and untrue responses is par for the course. I was a co-signer for my little sister - praying on applicants looking for affordable housing and stealing their application fees is sad and predatory. Feel free to check the application number - though it looks like you never even ran my credit (probably because that cost money) before sending the declined application letter. It's illegal to decline an applicant that meets all of your approval criteria so if you want to take talk about "legal" I'm happy to get my lawyer involved. I have tons of emails and texts to prove this.

**Horrible Experience with Shared Kitchen** I've been living here for two months, and my experience has been extremely disappointing. Despite being assured that the shared kitchen is safe and that labeling my food and utensils would prevent them from being taken or used, I have faced constant issues. 1. **Food Theft:** I label my food and store it in the fridge, yet it frequently goes missing. I've lost a significant amount of expensive groceries this way. 2. **Misuse of Kitchen Utensils:** My labeled kitchen utensils, such as pans, are often used without my permission and left dirty in the sink. This is both inconvenient and unsanitary. The management needs to take immediate action to enforce stricter guidelines for the shared kitchen and ensure residents respect each other's property. If these issues are not addressed promptly, I will have to consider moving out and seeking a refund of my deposit. Overall, my experience here has been frustrating and far from what was promised. I hope the management will take this review seriously and make necessary improvements.
