The 10 Best Restaurants In Larchmont

"Don’t check our math on this, but there are approximately 5,000 places to pick up baked goods in Larchmont Village. The best of the bunch is Clark Street. The popular bakery/cafe operates a sleek, minimalist shop in the heart of the neighborhood and is the perfect spot for some late-morning pastries or a well-built sandwich at lunch. There is a tiny area in the back with some tables, but we use this place mostly for takeout. And if it’s freshly baked bread you’re looking for, get there no later than 10am or else the shelves will be empty. " - brant cox, sylvio martins

Clark Street - Echo Park Review - Echo Park - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"When one of our announced that they were opening a stand-alone bakery, we wondered if they were bready for an expansion. But a bigger space just means that Clark Street Bakery has more room to do what they do best - namely, incredible pastries and baked goods. Their new outpost on Glendale Blvd. is still compact, but doesn’t feel small, thanks to high ceilings and a wide patio. The pastries are exceptional, specifically the kouign-amann, which is basically a caramelized croissant. But if you’re looking for something a little heartier, our favorite menu addition is the Nordic Breakfast, a massive platter that comes with a sourdough roll, Comté cheese, ham, butter, jam, and a hardboiled egg. This is the kind of simple, filling meal that makes you feel like you’re on a picnic in the Scandinavian countryside, or living the life of a humble farmhand - which, no offense, is kind of the best way to start the day." - Kat Hong

I secretly slipped in the other day. I’ve been avoiding my beloved cinnamon pastries here thanks to lackluster service, but against my better judgment I got one. Even though I know I can get them at a slightly higher price a few blocks to the east lol. Best of all - with a smile. The lines are long here often. With good reason, but there are some flaws. Previous review: MOMENTOUS OCCASION! Alas, finally I got a genuine, warm smile here! One of the guys that work in the little room where they prepare stuff. A baker? He was dressed like one. Anyway amazing! He should train (or reprogram) everyone else here! He’s actually not bad looking. This used to be a five star review. The bread is top notch but the service is absolutely not. Previous review: Please reprogram the staff. Yes, reprogram because everyone else here is an automaton struggling with their interactions in the most cosmopolitan city in earth. In front they have one highly efficient staff that makes things function, an always clueless, slothlike and socially inexperienced cashier and a barista that is ponderous and expressionless. They’re probably all imported from Montana or Nebraska. Who knows? Devoid of much human contact or far worse. Cultural tipping points anyone? Nah, please don’t let it be so! Today the cashier didn’t get the order right and renamed me. I kind of noticed something was off but didn’t find out till the barista only made one latte when I had asked for two. He asked me if the latte was mine instead of calling out a name and that’s when I saw I had a brand new name. lol. Instead of clarifying my name, which would involve more human interaction , the poor young woman went deeper into her introverted comfort zone and wished everything would turn out fine. It didn’t though. I have a theory about this place. Their programming limits them to smile expressly for weird and entitled Larchmont entertainment industry types. They actually live around here. lol. Annoying anecdote of the year: the cashier renamed me with the name of a horrid supervisor I had to endure for a year and a half in the world’s most toxic job environment. Actually this was kind of funny n a masochistic and self deprecating way. lol They took soooooooo long sorting things out, etc that a meter maid was gleefully writing a ticket for me outside lol. Ok this is my fault but I’m warning everyone that you should never ever make the mistake of thinking a visit to Clark St can ever, ever be a quick one. lol pay your meter! lol. Here is my first review: We arrived at around 8 am and there was already a small line. We had to wait outside. There were a bunch of people sitting outside. They’ve got some pretty cool merch. They play cool enough music. Today it was Killers sounding alt pop. There are literally a ton of pastry and bread options. So my favorite bakery ever is in Berlin and this one comes very close but they don’t have the raspberry and white chocolate bread I had in Berlin. I mention the Berlin bakery because I haven’t run into a bakery quite like this one or Clark St in Los Angeles. Not to say we don’t have great bakeries here. I had a breakfast plate with a pastry and a latte today. I ordered the Bacon and Eggs plate which included slices of bread, two scrambled eggs, three pieces of bacon, butter and preserves. The bread was incredibly fresh and the crusts weren’t too hard. They were just right. The bacon was cooked to perfection. It was not too thin and not too thick. The eggs were great. I chose a Swedish cinnamon bun. It was amazing. I love cinnamon bread. The pastry was soft inside and had a slightly crunchy exterior. It paired well with my three shot latte which was incredibly balanced and subtle in flavor. I tried a croissant which was great but it isn’t the best croissant in Los Angeles. It’s close though. When we were leaving it was close to 9 am and it got pretty busy. Nice clean private bathroom with a baby shelf. Meter parking in front.

I recently visited this charming cafe, and it was a delightful experience. The interior is warm and welcoming. Cozy nooks, thoughtful decor, and soft lighting or get some work done while enjoying good food and drinks. I ordered an Iced Latte, which was smooth, creamy, and just the right balance of rich espresso and milk. It was refreshing and satisfying, exactly what I needed to recharge. Alongside, I had a Ham and Cheese Croissant—flaky, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of melted cheese and ham. It was delicious, perfectly toasted, and complemented the latte beautifully. This cafe’s inviting atmosphere and high-quality offerings make it a place I’d love to return to. It’s perfect for a solo visit or to catch up with friends, with a vibe that feels both trendy and cozy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a spot with personality and warmth!

It’s always disappointing when a place with potential to be great chooses to be a place you keep supporting only because of one thing - their pastries. I am a regular and enrolled in their loyalty program. This morning I noticed that they redesigned their patio (not in a good way as they removed a cuter-looking communal tables replacing them with super generic-looking plastic individual tables), but that was not the only change. It seems like their prices went up again and they no longer offer refills for $2.00 on their black coffee. I guess they think nothing of charging $10 for two cups of not amazing filter coffee rather than showing their appreciation of the loyal customers base, which is definitely not a smart policy (at Friends and Family they actually don’t charge anything if you ask them for a fresh splash every now and then). I just visited Greece where restaurant and cafe owners go out of their ways to please the customers, which felt so amazing, and this kind of attitude (“it will be just the same price as for another cup of coffee) seemed so greedy and cold. Oh, well. I still enjoyed my danish and needed that extra caffeine, but I am still having a hard time loving this place.

I waited 30 minutes for a sandwich, while watching every person who came after me get their order. I asked numerous times for an update and at one point was told it would be another minute - it was more than 10 more before my sandwich finally came out. It was on the wrong bread - they asked if I wanted it remade and i said no because I didn't have another 30 minutes to wait; if I hadn't been so hungry I would have gotten my money back. finally got to my office and took the sandwich out of the box - it's nearly imposible to actually pick up and eat becuase the bread is too thin, too soft and one of the pieces is literally falling apart. I tried calling to let them know (pretty sure no one cares, but still...) and the phone kept ringing until I finally got an automated message that I couldn't leave a voice message because their mailbox is not set up. After all of that the sandwich is average at best. This place is such a disappointment.

With 4 locations in LA, I have been to Clark Street many times in different areas, but this was my first time at their Larchmont location. Parking in Larchmont Village can be difficult on the weekends, but there are pay lots available as well. Luckily we found a metered space on the street a few feet from the entrance this time. Clark Street is famous for their bakery options and we grabbed many of them today. My favorite is their croissant, but each item I have tried has been delicious. They also have great tea, coffee, and cold brew options so for those two reasons it’s very popular around breakfast time. Today we also ordered the California Club (my favorite sandwich option and truly delicious) and the Breakfast Sandwich, which is probably my second favorite due to the runny egg on top of the toasted bread. The Avocado Toast is worth trying as well and very good. Overall a really casual and consistent bakery, breakfast, and lunch spot. The line goes quickly usually and the only downside is it’s on the pricey side, but still I have never had a bad meal at Clark Street.

SERVICE: I was greeted and asked, "How my day is going." Great vibes from patrons and employees. COFFEE: Iced americano- caffeine loaded. Nice. Slight acidity. FOOD: Chinese chicken salad was good but chicken meat showed expiration date. The CA club sandwich had very expired lettuce and tomatoes was not cut properly. It would be better if veggies were fresh. We hope our stomach is going to be fine today. Interior: modern with natural elements. I liked the neutral design. Parking: meter parking. Please keep Larchmont Village LITTER FREE. I

Google
Review for Sunday June 8 around 2pm Not sure why the staff were in a mood today. I placed an order for a matcha chocolate croissant. During the same time, the woman at the cashier was informed something about salmon and cream cheese, and she visibly became frustrated, she ended up “handing” me the croissant by throwing it on the counter right in front of me. She gathered herself enough to say “I’m sorry, that was rude” but I was in such disbelief of the disrespectful treatment I got that I just walked away - without the goods and without paying. I feel like shops in Larchmont are usually known for their good service so it’s very unsettling to see this kind of behavior from one of the most well-known shops in the area. Please do better next time.

Google
I always loved their bread, but man, it was my first time having their breakfast sandwich and that sourdough makes it LEGENDARY. It has such a nice airy crumb but being perfectly crunchy on the outside. That combo with the gooey egg, bacon, crispy lettuce, tomatoes, and house sauce is unparalleled. Oh, and their other pastries are fire too.

Yelp
Clark Street - Great Iced Latte, Even Better Hospitality Stopped by Clark Street in Larchmont for an iced latte and left even more impressed than expected. The latte was fantastic--smooth, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of creamy. The whole café has such a warm, inviting feel, and being in the heart of Larchmont makes it an ideal spot to grab a drink before wandering through all the great shops and restaurants nearby. The best part? As they were closing up, they had extra pastries and kindly gave them out for free. And let me tell you--it was amazing. Buttery, perfectly flaky, just the right amount of sweetness, and topped with fresh blackberries that made it even better. Such a thoughtful touch that really shows what kind of place this is. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and genuinely kind people. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Yummy! I popped in before brunch to try several items: a ham and cheese croissant, which was excellent; a soft and chewy peanut butter cookie soft that was not too nutty; their sugar topped vanilla (cardamom?) bun was very sweet and not my favorite. I did love their dark chocolate chip cookie and their savory cheddar chive scone. Those are musts. I would definitely go back to grab a coffee and try something new!

Yelp
It's my third time here and they do not disappoint. The quality of the food is superb. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich on fresh sourdough bread with a delicious sauce, bacon, egg, lettuce, and tomato. Chef's Kiss! It's a small, quaint space but there is seating past the food pickup area as well as outdoor seating. I definitely recommend this cafe!

Yelp
I stopped by Clark Street Bakery and treated myself to a little pastry box--and everything was absolutely delightful! I got two cheddar and chive scones (my favorite--they're always so flavorful and perfectly savory), a matcha chocolate croissant with a lovely balance of earthiness and sweetness, and a surprise pastry picked by the cashier: a blueberry danish. I'd never tried it before, but it was such a great choice--fruity, flaky, and not overly sweet. Thank you for making my day with such great treats and kind service. I'll definitely be back again soon!

Yelp
I love those menus that are simple and well executed and that's what you get at Clark Street. A great selection of food, not overwhelming, and absolutely delicious. I ordered their breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon, tomato etc. ( i honesly forget because I wae starving) and it was so well done, flavorful with fresh ingredients. No complaints, can't wait to go back and try more items. Good coffee/beverage selection as well. I ordered an oatmilk chai and absolutely destroyed it before I could get a picture. Would've ordered another but the line was too long which should tell you a lot. Seating indoor and outdoor, excellent service from the staff and great vibes all around. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Nice folks. The larchmont tuna is the best tuna sandwich ever. Had no expectations and it was sooooo good with buttery toasty bread

Yelp
Beautiful display of pastries in a cute Larchmont location. Expect a wait outside the door, and some popular pastries may sell out in the morning. The cardamom and cinnamon buns are delightful- little doughy for my liking. I couldn't resist the peanut butter cookie which was dense , moist and delicious.

Yelp
I frequent this Clark Street location, and the reason would not surprise you: they make some excellent baked goods. Whether it's their cardamom buns or their seasonal pastries (e.g. hot cross buns during Lent), I can reliably find a great pastry to eat in house or take home for later. I also enjoy their espresso-based drinks; I often get a cortado and find the balance of milk foam to espresso to be top-notch. While I find their back seating area to be dreary, they do offer lots of outdoor seating including long benches and small tables. There can often be a long line during peak hours, but I find that the employees move efficiently to take orders.

Yelp
love the place but so bummed i can't get the breakfast burrito anymore with egg whites , they took that option away ? not sure why , but now i have to go elsewhere for my burritos! the staff are sweet and i love the patio

Yelp
Simple. Flavorful. Fantastic. Not to mention the beautiful barista in the red dress who is ever so warm and helpful. There, I checked all three boxes in one sentence. Realistically, this can be a place you stroll to for a nice early Saturday or Sunday breakfast with Coffee. It can be a place where you sit outside on the sidewalk café, taking in all of the people watching it can be a place you can go to for teatime . All of the baked goods were fluffy, moist, and had a smattering of flavors offered. The coffee/espresso drinks seem top-tier. I wouldn't say they would compete with la mil. but if you're into the baked goods scene, check this place out.

Yelp
It is so awesome to have a bakery close to me that I can go for fresh pastries and country bread. Make sure to try both their savory and sweet menu. They make Swedish cinnamon buns here and it is a chewy sweet treat with a good cup of coffee!

Yelp
Clark street is a great place to go if you want to quickly grab a sandwich, pastry, or coffee. They often have a long-ish line in the weekends but it moves pretty fast. They also have a few tables out back if you want to eat there or you can take your food/drinks to go. Overall we enjoyed our food and want to try some of their pastries the next time we go.

Yelp
Had an hour to kill this morning and was looking for a dog-friendly place to get a coffee and maybe something to eat. Saw the Clark Street Bakery, and it looked good from the outside so thought "why not?" Purchased a breakfast burrito and a latte. Price was "average". The latte was well-made. The breakfast burrito was filling, but perhaps lacking some other element inside. It definitely needed the hot sauce that accompanied it to jazz it up a bit. It was good, but I might try something else if I return to Clark Street in the future. Also purchased a loaf of sourdough to take home - bread was crisp on the outside and soft inside, and delicious when toasted with butter and jam. Recomended.

Yelp
My family went to go grab us some bread, two burritos, and a sandwich. I was eating my burrito when I suddenly felt something hard and sharp. I found a piece of PLASTIC in my food. I thankfully spit it out to see what it was and to my horror it was a significant piece of plastic. I post this review for others to be careful and maybe be mindful of the food they order from this place. UPDATE: called to let them know and ask them to be careful for others food. They were kind and apologetic and offered a refund. It for sure doesn't make it okay but I appreciate that they were able to respond kindly.

Yelp
Clark Street is a cute Scandinavian coffee shop. I stopped by a couple times to try their pastries. It's a little pricey, and some of their pastries were hit or miss. But everything overall was solid. Also the lines can get quite long on the weekends. Apple honey bread: just ok. A little dry. Banana bread: meh. Levain down the street has a much better slice. Cardamom bun: awesome. Soft and fresh. Pumpkin cookie: awesome. Pumpkin spice latte: also awesome. Would come back to try their lunch menu. Street/neighborhood parking is pretty easy in this area too.

Yelp
Love this place! The Swedish vanilla bun is my favorite. Perfect sweet treat and not too heavy. This place usually has a line but it moves quickly. Great and friendly service and prices are reasonable. If you can't find metered parking I suggest going up the block into the residential area where it's easy to find free street parking.
google avatar

Tati V.

Yelp
No one quite does buns like Clark Street does. I primarily go here for their pastries and breakfast sandwich. The lunch options are pretty mid in my opinion. I've had the burger, the chinese chicken salad and the jambon beurre and none of them have really done it for me. The coffee is ok, nothing super special. Out of all the places to get pastries at on the block, this one is definitely my favorite though!

Joel W.

Yelp
They seem to have a hard time greeting the people when entering the store, this particular time I was waiting for about 5 minutes. No one greeted me, another customer comes in after me, and they start having a conversation with them as if I'm invisible.. This a horrible way to run a business and it's unacceptable.. this is not the first time it's happened..I don't know if it's because I'm black minority.. but they need to get this together..

Yelp
The seeded loaf is so fresh & amazing and I love how they slice it for you! Perfect with butter & eggs for breakfast.

Yelp
Välkommen till Sverige! Back when I was in college, I studied abroad in Copenhagen for a summer, where I also enjoyed traveling around Scandinavia on the weekends. One of my fondest memories was taking the ferry to Ven where I danced to polka music at the farmer's market and ate the best Swedish pastries by the beach. Clark Street Bakery brought me back to that wonderful summer. Many of the popular bread items are Scandinavian inspired. I highly recommend the Swedish Cardamon Bun and Tebirkes if you want authentic flavors. Their coffee and tea offerings are great, too! My iced matcha latte was superb. (Although $1.25 for non dairy is a bit steep.) The sandwiches are good, but I wish I could sub the sliced bread for rolls or baguettes. I also wish they'd served more Scandinavian-inspired sandwiches like Smoked Salmon. Service is excellent. Staff is always friendly and try to get through the long lines as quickly as possible. Outdoor and indoor seating in available. Metered parking is out front.

Yelp
Was chatting with a chef in a local French restaurant yesterday AM. Subject: Bread. He told me that I needed to try Clark Street in Larchmont. Live reasonably close by but had never heard of this establishment prior. Decided to check it out. Nice local bakery with friendly staff. Wanted a savory pastry. They suggested I try the cheddar cheese scone with chives. I did. It was delicious. Apparently made with cornbread. The flavor was subtle yet came through. I got home, sliced it in half and heated it up. Added some good salty butter. Delicious. I will DEFINITELY be back for more. Also picked up a delicious fresh everything bagel. Fresh and loaded with seasoning. I like everything bagels when they are LOADED with everything. this bagel did the trick. My third item purchased was a peanut butter baked bone for Elizabeth (my English bulldog). $2. for one, $3.50 for 2. Elizabeth LOVED this treat. She told me that we should only go to this bakery and avoid all the other places here. When I got back to the car with her freshly baked bone she was in heaven. Few bakeries understand that many of their patrons have dogs. These smart folks understand dogs and have chosen to offer fresh baked treats for pups. Glad they sell them rather than give them away. Gives them a chance to offer something great for dogs and make a few bucks. The fact they bake peanut butter bones for dogs is reason alone to give them 5 stars. This gives me one more reason to frequent this establishment. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
Hands down the best Swedish vanilla bun I've ever had in my life, maybe it's because it's the only one I've had in my life. I fell in love with it the first time I tried it. It has a hint of cardamom in it, softly baked to perfection with a soft texture.

Yelp
Clark Street is a cute little bakery tucked away in Larchmont. Always on the hunt for the best Kouign Amann and i give them 4/5. It was more of better tasting Palmier to me. Ham and a cheese croissant was decent. Staff was very friendly and street parking available.

Yelp
Clean, elegant coffee shop on Larchmont. Killer back patio area for covered outdoor seating. Baked goods are great and fairly priced; $4 for a great croissant. Coffee is solid. I liked it! Note: most of the constructive feedback is on kitchen food. Can't comment on that because we just got pastries and coffee.

Yelp
We live near Larchmont and Clark Street has been an excellent addition to the neighborhood. We've been walking over with the kids for brunch most weekends, the baby in his stroller, the three-year-old on his balance bike. It's a lovely, easy routine (though my feelings would be different if driving and parking were part of the equation--if you're not familiar with Larchmont parking, be prepared before you show up looking to grab a quick pastry). Clark Street is popular, but it's less slammed than when it first opened, and the line to order moves relatively fast. The front of the bakery is inviting but small, with just enough room for the line to move through along the pastry display. Service is friendly and efficient, and if you're just buying pastries, you can be out the door in a few minutes. There's also a robust cafe menu with sandwiches and salads and several all-day breakfast items, which take longer to prepare. We like to order at the register and take our number to the surprisingly calm back patio. It's a plain but pleasant space, where we've never had to wait for a table or worry that our kids are bothering the other customers, who usually have their own kids. My husband and older boy always get pastries, and they love the croissants (our son actually calls Clark Street "the croissant restaurant"). They get the plain and chocolate croissants, though when those sell out, as they sometimes do, they've also gotten almond and once, the Swedish cardamom bun, which the three-year-old found quite fascinating. Dad gets coffee to go with his breakfast, while son gets some kind of fancy canned apple juice. The baby and I like some meat with our meals and have sampled a chunk of the breakfast and lunch menu. On the breakfast side, the classic lox bagel is fantastic, with smoked salmon, tomato, red onion, capers, dill, and cream cheese. I don't know where Clark Street gets their bagels, but they're good, pillowy fresh with a nice chew. I like the everything bagel, which goes well with the lovely lox. For lunch, I've enjoyed the sandwiches, especially the turkey pesto, which comes with roasted turkey, aged provolone, arugula, giardiniera, housemade pesto, olive oil, and vinegar on crusty ciabatta. The chicken salad sandwich is classic and tasty, with lettuce, tomato, and mayo on sourdough. The tuna salad sandwich is also solid, with line-caught albacore, iceberg, pickles, jalapeños, and mustard on toasted challah, though I wouldn't mind more jalapeño. I'm very fond of Clark Street and am happy to have it in our weekend rotation. It's a relaxing spot with great food and a kid-friendly set-up, a prime default destination for low-effort family outings.

Yelp
Best Veggie Sandwich I have had... ever. So flavorful and juicy. I added turkey to mine and they loaded it on there. Need to have another ASAP

Yelp
Bakery with a large selection of goodies. Everything is great, little is exceptional. Service is quick, and they have a good assembly process making it easy to get in and out. Do expect long lines on Sunday mornings. Large window displaying the baked good from outside with a narrow and long shop. Great stop if you're in the area.

Rick R.

Yelp
Clark street is winning the bakery game on Larchmont Blvd. I wish they would win the customer service game too. The employees at the counter can be elitist and snobbish. Whoever owns or manages this establishment please work on this attitude. We love your goodies and sincerely hope you can be a bit more polite and kind especially since Los Angeles needs it more this week.

Yelp
Cappuccino is good but $4.75 somehow turns to $6.47 before a tip. I tipped a dollar so it was $7.47. Tax is under 10% (10% of 4.75 is $0.47) which gives you $5.22; they have the tax on their POS system set up to over charge. It's becoming common but I find it very dishonest. Thumbs down. Post the price and people will pay it, stop slapping customers in the face with hidden price gouging.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place for kouign-amann. I am a sucker for a good kouign-amann and this is one of the best. I tried their almond croissant and chive scone and they are also delicious. Definitely would go back to try other pastries!

Yelp
One of my favorite bakeries in LA! Staff members are extremely friendly, and always great you with a smile. They make amazing matcha latte(so make sure to try it). But the Swedish pastries, make this place worth it. I highly recommend this place.

Staff is nice. Pricing is as expected. Fast trendy and casual. Street parking can be limited at times. Their fresh baked breads are the stand out here.

Yelp
I tried the Cinnamon Bun and Cardamom Bun at Clark Street today. They were both amazing! I was expecting to like the Cardamom Bun more but the Cinnamon Bun took me by surprise. The layers and spices all melt in your mouth. As we went in on a Sunday morning, the line was quite long and there was limited seating. They don't heat up the pastries, which is unfortunate as I think the buns would've tasted even better warm.

Yelp
Ordered two sandwiches to-go and haven't felt so uncomfortable or unwelcome at a place in a while. It was giving "I truly hate working here and I especially despise talking to anyone other than my co-workers." Specifically the dude with the glasses who was working there couldn't be bothered to utter a single word of "thanks", "welcome", "no problem" - you know, just primary customer service literacy. I asked for a sauce to-go and he stared at me, almost rolling his eyes, then asked the kitchen for the sauce, then left it on the counter. Not a word. Lmao. We tipped for these to-go orders too so I have no idea why he was so rude.

Yelp
Ridiculously overpriced. Pastries are average at best. The back seating area is always filthy dirty because nobody can be bothered to actually come and clean it. Always had a disappointing experience here.

Yelp
Ordered a blueberry muffin with butter. One pad of butter....$2.00. Your eyes are NOT deceiving you. $2.00 for a pat of butter that should def be complimentary as you need it to add some moisture to a pretty dry muffin. **I did not pay the $2.00 for a pat of butter.**

Yelp
Great place for a nice brunchy type snack or a baked treat! I got the 'eggs on a raft' which is scrambled eggs on sourdough toast. Eggs are spectacularly soft but not runny. A fine balance which is hard to achieve consistently. The Israeli salad was a refreshing cucumber and tomato bowl and a great side. The coconut chocolate balls are decadent and delicious! I ended up buying all the remaining ones in the display case. Their kouign amann are one of the first things to consistently sell out so get there early!

Yelp
This newly opened bakery offers delicious pastries, and breakfast/lunch style foods. There is a small sitting area in the back of the business. I recommend arriving here early as possible, as the pastries do sell out fast (usually by 1-2pm). The staff are friendly and work quickly. Please see attached picture for the menu selections.

Yelp
Stopped by Clark street for a quick coffee and it definitely hit the spot. I ordered a mocha latte and it was super tasteful. The baristas were extremely friendly and I noticed that they have a sizable amount of pastries. Seating is pretty limited at the moment, but I'd assume that they will add seating somehow (since this is in a very popular neighborhood). Overall, this is a great addition to the neighborhood. Looking forward to making it back soon

Yelp
This place has been on my list and decided to stop in during my walk in larchmont. Decided to try the cheddar chive scone. It tasted pretty good. It's large and it wasn't too dry. I got it to go so I can't say to much about the ambiance or service. Overall I would go back. Maybe I'll try the kouign amann next time.

Yelp
Their sandwiches are REALLY good. Packed with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. I am giving this place 4 stars because it's not a total standout, but their pastries and menu items are very solid. Swedish buns are a great pastry option. On a weekend morning around 10am, there was a short line that moved pretty quickly. Lots of outdoor seating in the front made for a nice ambiance. Street parking is easy in this area and staff was standard/nice. Food came out promptly.

Yelp
I'm probably one and done. I'm in Larchmont quite often and businesses come and go quite a bit. Stopped in today to try a pastry.....but no go. I know it was late in the morning but I noticed the prices were premium priced. Luckily their machine was down and was only accepting cash payments. Even though I could have darted back to my car to grab some cash ....I took it as a sign to pass on a pastry, at least from Clark Street. I'm sure there are more sophisticated customers than myself who don't mind the prices. I am sure they will be very successful and wish them the best.

Yelp
Doubtless I would give four solid stars for the coffee, bread, and pastries here. Some weeks I stop by daily for my coffee. Their relaxed attitude towards service was always okay by me, but the fact that day after day they don't clean their bathroom is really bothersome. Yesterday I whispered to one of the baristas that the bathroom is very dirty, because the toilet was very dusty and stained and there were disgusting wet clumps of hair near the sink. This was literally at 8:00 am in the morning, so they were open for only 30 min, yet it didn't seem that anyone bothered to clean the bathroom before they opened. Everyone can have a bad day, naturally, and I would not bother with this review if today I didn't find the bathroom in the same unkempt state. No seat covers, toilet dusty and stained, only the sink area seemed to be wiped. I don't want to stop coming here just because the owners keep their establishment understaffed or, worse, simply stopped caring.

Yelp
Good range of pastries, quality coffee, great baristas and friendly staff. Outdoor table seating as well as a few indoor tables.

Yelp
I have been so excited to try Clark Street since it opened in Larchmont. We arrived around 10am, and got lucky that the line was not out the door. The same could not be said for after we left. The pastry selection is vast and mouthwatering. I opted for the monkey bread, which was delightfully sugary and crunchy. I also got a tasty latte--but they're one of those LA coffee spots that doesn't have skim or nonfat milk. I've heard great things about the breakfast menu and will have to return to try it out. They have a seating area in the back, and I think are planning to add a few tables out front. Thrilled with the addition to the neighborhood.

Yelp
Best croissant in LA in my opinion! Also love the veggie sandwich! Can't wait to try more of the pastries.

Yelp
Tried Clarke Street for the first time but I wouldn't go back there. My sandwich was not that good for $16. My cookie looked fantastic but didn't taste as good as it looked. I wanted to print my receipt but the cashier said that wasn't an option. Super pricey for sub par food.

Yelp
I'm so grateful this bakery is in walking distance from me. The breads, pastries, and cafe food are all delicious and the prices are very reasonable (for LA). The staff is very lovely and the store is very modern. And it's so satisfying to see the fresh pastries perfectly stacked up in the display case every morning. You gotta try their Ham & Cheese Croissant and Fruit Danish!! And the Lox Bagel and Pastrami Reuben is quite delicious too if you're looking for a filling lunch. I wish there was indoor seating so you could enjoy the food in a comfortable setting, but there's nice outdoor seating on the lively Larchmont street which is ideal for people watching.
