"Another single word name and another not-yet-released menu. Claro is in the 'keep 'em guessing' category of new openings. But what we do know is that this spot started out in Tel Aviv and this St James’s location marks their big move to the UK. The dining room looks impressive, all lofty ceilings, exposed brick walls, and sweeping chequerboard floors. The food has been described as Mediterranean with Middle Eastern influences. We had an awesome dinner at Claro in London! The food was super fresh and full of Mediterranean flavor, every dish was spot on. The restaurant has a great vibe and the staff were amazing – friendly, easygoing, and made the whole experience even better. Don’t miss their cocktails, the beef tartare, the ossobuco, and the crudo – absolute musts. And of course the desserts 😍 Can’t wait to come back!

I had a lovely time at Clark tonight with my wife. The ambience was perfect – think high ceilings with beautiful moulding and a spacious dining area with a clean and tasteful interior design. The service was excellent too. I had the pleasure of being served by Pantelis, who was warm and helpful and gave great menu recommendations. The food was beautifully presented and had the taste to match. Every dish was bursting with flavour; fresh, tangy lime, crunchy pomegranate, carefully spiced monkfish… it was a true treat for the palate. A gustatory symphony of sorts. The wine menu was well thought through – it was evident that the sommelier had carefully curated the wine list. The house wine was a nice surprise of the beaten track White Rioja that paired beautifully with yellowtail crudo. I chose a Portuguese white that had a smooth, creamy note and a touch of minerality. I regret not having the stomach for dessert – I shall be back!

We went to Claro for Brunch and it was immaculate! The food was so fresh and delicious, the service was wonderful with a very friendly and patient staff, and the restaurant is stunning. I especially loved the Niçoise salad and the Burek Benedict. So scrumptious! Their dark chocolate mousse was also a fave! Loved it! Would 100% come again.

We had dinner here before our The Phantom of the Opera show and it was great! Easy booking and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The decoration is very modern yet warm, and although it looks very fancy from the outside it’s more like business casual. The service was lightning fast! And our food was amazing! The seabass was very fresh and well prepared, as were the English mushrooms. The jacket potato was also to die for. It can get a bit pricey with wine and with some of the dishes (like the fish we asked for), but it was delicious and we think it was worth it. Also, there’s a 14% service charge as of this date (May 2025). Highly recommend!

Gorgeous new location in central London. Perfect for lunch, dinner, or a Sunday with the fam in the city. Beautiful decor and building set in central London. *Incredible* food. We had the Sunday brunch, and all of our dishes were spectacular.

We had an amazing dining experience at Claro in Waterloo Palace, London. We started with the appetizer “A Taste of Claro”, which was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. For the mains, we had Ossobuco and Seabass – both were bursting with flavor, perfectly marinated, and cooked to perfection. A special thanks to Andrea, our waiter, who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and gave us great recommendations that made our meal even better. If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine with top-notch service, I highly recommend visiting Claro. 🌟🍝🐟

Claro London is an absolute gem! If you love Mediterranean food with a modern, local twist — this is your spot. Every dish felt super fresh and full of flavor (you can really tell it’s farm-to-table). We shared a few plates and honestly loved every single one. The cocktails were on another level — creative, bold, and beautifully crafted, whoever thought about creating Za’atar margarita is a genius! It was a perfect way to start (and end) the night. The vibe is amazing — stylish but relaxed, with great energy and genuinely friendly service. The kind of place you want to settle into and enjoy for a few hours. Already planning my next visit — can’t recommend it enough.
