"Another single word name and another not-yet-released menu. Claro is in the 'keep 'em guessing' category of new openings. But what we do know is that this spot started out in Tel Aviv and this St James’s location marks their big move to the UK. The dining room looks impressive, all lofty ceilings, exposed brick walls, and sweeping chequerboard floors. The food has been described as Mediterranean with Middle Eastern influences. We recently had brunch at Claro, and it was exceptional! The vibe, the food, the service everything 10/10! Ayal was super friendly and provided us with excellent service. The food was delicious and all ingredients top tier quality! We tried the brunch tray for 2 people which was like a mini breakfast buffet of a 5 star hotel. We can’t wait to visit again for lunch and Sunday roast!

Beautiful restaurant, like sitting in an old fashioned salon. Food was incredible, the starters were so good I forgot to take pictures. For mains we had the two sea basses and the pork, and for dessert we shared 3 of them - I can't remember the names, but again - so good no pictures were taken 😅 we'll definitely be back very soon.

Wonderful food in the most stunning, high ceiling, old bank. The dishes we chose really complemented each other - the pickled cabbage and okra paired very well with the T-bone steak and marrow, the octopus was cooked beautifully, soft, not chewy. The venison tartare was something new for me and was very enjoyable, great flavours and sauces per dish. Cocktails were yum.

Wow absolutely stunning restaurant with the best food in London! The vibes are immaculate and the brunch was 1000/10. We had the shakshuka (extra spicy), the burekas with eggs, and the market salad. All of it was divine! The shakshuka came with labneh and challah bread, it was perfectly cooked. The burekas were warm and flakey and went incredibly well with the eggs, mushrooms and creamy sauce; and the salad was fresh and delicious. The staff was also super friendly and kind, and the vibes were so charming. Will be coming back and bringing friends

We fancied an impromptu date night, so booked this a few hours before on a whim but I was so impressed with our experience here, the team really make Claro special. The wine list is so impressive and Ron makes an effort to ensure that we could test the wines we wanted to try and make recommendations to match our food order. Our sever (cannot remember his name but lovely Italian man), made the best food recommendations and ensured we didn’t over order but left incredibly satisfied. The food, of course, is wonderful as well as the cocktails. Thank you!!

A beautiful room with absolutely delicious food - the dips and homemade bread to begin were almost a meal in themselves and each delicious. We had the set lunch menu with highlights being the fried brussel sprouts and a huge bowl of delicious chocolate mousse. Amir and Tamara made sure we had absurdly everything we needed and even treated us to champagne and an extra dessert when they heard we were celebrating. Delicious, reasonably priced and in luxurious surroundings, we very highly recommend Claro

We had an awesome dinner at Claro in London! The food was super fresh and full of Mediterranean flavor, every dish was spot on. The restaurant has a great vibe and the staff were amazing – friendly, easygoing, and made the whole experience even better. Don’t miss their cocktails, the beef tartare, the ossobuco, and the crudo – absolute musts. And of course the desserts 😍 Can’t wait to come back!
