Hudson Yards Restaurant Momofuku Kawi’s Star Crab Dish Nearly Triples in Price | Eater NY

"At the Hudson Yards modern Korean spot Kawi, the ganjang-gejang — raw blue crab with a wonderfully gelatinous, bone-marrow–like texture — was one of the best dishes of the year; Times critic Pete Wells awarded the venue two stars while I doled out three. The crab famously opened at $16 this spring but has since jumped to $42, a hike that makes it 163 percent more expensive and more in line with the mall’s luxury pricing. The preparation has changed too: it’s now a spicy oryangnyeom gejang, with sweet crustaceans marinated in soy, gochu garu, and habanero; Park now uses three crabs (one halved and served in its shell, the meat from two tossed with seasoned perilla rice) and finishes the dish with a few soft beads of salmon roe for oily oomph. The quality keeps pace with the cheaper original — the crab remains silky and gelatinous, easier now to make crab-and-rice rolls with the included nori — and the roe adds brine while the Fresno-chile–laced sauce brings a round, salty heat that’s just right. It’s still a BUY for me (I spent days thinking about the silky crab sliding down my throat, and three times the crab for just under three times the price isn’t a bad deal), but the steep price hike and loss of the dish’s previous accessibility make it feel less like the least–Hudson Yards restaurant it once seemed." - Ryan Sutton

Shout out Clayton for helping me walk out with a CF Moto 450 SS! For a first time buyer and rider in general, he walked me in the right direction when it came to the bike itself, and even gear. Entire buying process went amazing! 10/10 must recommend, even helped me load my bike up just to make sure I got it home same day! Thank you!

Google
An honest and reputable dealer of all things fun; ATV's, quads, side-by-sides, jet-skis, motorcycles, and so much more. Brands such as Ninja, Polaris, Husqvarna, Honda, and the likes. Look no further Fresno, Clawson has an amount of inventory that will truly take your breath away. Their Service and Accessories Department is unmatched. Their building is beautifully built out. Friendly and not pushy salespeople, relatable and humorous. Come visit, even just to browse and ask questions. Stay for prices that cannot be beat on your next adrenaline adventure.

Went in last week looking for a new dual sport. Axel and Zach greeted me, showed me around, and answered any questions i had. They were super friendly and very knowledgeable! i decided on a bike, and they made the process very easy! I was introduced to the different departments and guided me through the whole process. The bike was prepped, detailed, and even gassed up after the paperwork was done. Shortly after, I was able to ride it home!! Thank you Axel, Zach, and the entire Clawson team! I will definitely be back and recommend anyone in the market for a new motorcycle/ recreational vehicle! Thanks again Axel, Zach, and entire Clawson Motorsports family!!! 😁🫶🏼

Google
Clayton helped me get my bike. It was a great experience! He was very helpful and made the whole transaction a breeze, thanks! I met the guy in the service shop for a little chat and he was also super helpful and friendly. Edit 9/6 I just had my motorcycle delivered by Anthony and this guy also deserves 5 stars. I'm a brand new rider and he gave me a quick refresher and run down of starting the bike and controls. I seriously feel 10 times better now that I'm taking it out for my first ride. Thanks for everything guys!

Google
Thank you to Marco and Lex for helping make my dealership experience positive and exciting. All my questions were answered and at no time did I feel pressured in anyway. Thank you for trusting this new rider. Letting me sit on as many bikes I could and even going for a test ride. I am absolutely in love with my Triumph Trident 660.

Google
My husband and I visited Clawson Motorsports without the intention of making a purchase—we were just exploring our options between a boat and a jet ski. However, after meeting our salesman, Yohan, our experience completely exceeded our expectations. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and took the time to thoroughly educate us on the different jet ski options, helping us figure out what would best suit our needs. Thanks to Yohan’s guidance, we felt confident in our decision, and with the help of the finance department and the amazing manager, Michael, we were able to get an excellent deal on two jet skis and a trailer. They worked with us to find a great down payment and monthly payment plan that fit our budget. We truly appreciate the outstanding service and professionalism from the entire Clawson Motorsports team. If you’re in the market for any recreational vehicles or powersports toys, I highly recommend visiting Clawson and asking for Yohan—he’s fantastic! We’ll definitely be back in a few months to purchase our RZRs from them.

Google
Clawson Motorsports Unethical Sales Tactics & Extreme Markups Clawson Motorsports had a big $4,495 sale sign, but once you sit down, that bike magically becomes $7,300 with fake fees like $1,000 for “assembly” and $600 for “shipping”. Then they try to hit you with a 22% interest rate and act like your own financing doesn’t exist. Total bait-and-switch. If you like wasting money and being played, this is your spot. If you're not asking the right questions, you'll end up paying thousands more than you should. This place relies on misleading pricing and high-pressure tactics. Be cautious, do your research, and take your business somewhere that values honesty and transparency.

Google
I visited Clawson Motorsports last year and honestly walked away disappointed. The customer experience at that time really turned me off — enough that I was willing to drive out of town just to find a different dealership. For a while, I figured I wouldn’t be coming back. Fast forward to this year, I decided to give Clawson another chance, and I’m so glad I did. From the start, the experience was completely different. Chris was the one who helped me, and his level of service absolutely blew me away. Chris provided 20/10 service. He went above and beyond at every step of the process — not just answering my questions, but making sure I understood everything clearly before moving forward. He never rushed me, and I truly felt like he cared about making sure I left with confidence and zero doubts. That kind of customer service is rare these days, and it made all the difference. In fact, the experience was so good that we didn’t just leave with one purchase — we ended up buying another as well. That says a lot about the trust and comfort Chris built with us. I can confidently say that Clawson Motorsports has earned back my business, and it’s all thanks to Chris and the way he went above and beyond to make the experience a positive one. If you’re hesitant like I once was, I’d highly recommend giving them (and especially Chris) a chance.

Yelp
Clawson recently serviced my Polaris for its 1000 mile interval and did a great job! They even picked it up and delivered it back to my home when the service was complete! Great experience all around!

Yelp
I hadn't been there for a while. Noticed they had redone the showroom, looked good. Went there see if they had some bike parts I needed. Anytime I can do brick and mortar I will. Went back to the parts counter. The young man had the personality of day old bread, kind of stale. Didn't greet me, looked like he was mad. I asked him about what I was looking for, had know idea of what it was. Had to explain it to him, without hesitation said " We don't have that" didn't look, didn't ask anyone else. At that point, I didn't ask about the other items I needed. We walked out and said nothing changed customer service wise at Clawson. I wonder, if they had a team that cared, how much more sales would they have. New Showroom look, but the same old, same old.

Yelp
went in there to purchase a bike employees are very rude one guy sitting down with their laptop, not paying attention and they're all on their phones most employees I've saw on their phones didn't want to help me because I was a female I highly do not recommend coming in to purchase any kind of quad

Andee T.

Yelp
Went in to have a look of what I will be getting into in the bike field. I was assisted by Zach, he was very nice, helpful and friendly! Would definitely consider when I plan to purchase from this place.

Yelp
If you bring any vehicle to have work done to it or even a simple oil change, Make sure you bring a cond0m here cause they ra.p3 you with there prices. this is the greed the talked abt in the Bible. It's actually crazy. I'm no Mecanic but I basically had to become my own because of this.

John F.

Yelp
don't buy anything from these people I've called multiple times on an order received one part canceled the remainder of parts, never received my money back $139 if you buy parts from them and it's the wrong part, forget getting your money back

Jose c.

Yelp
Never again, Very lazy grown men in the service department who do not want to work !. I Took 2 Atv wheels and 2 new tires to get installed on the wheels & 3 days passed & they never installed them i reached out to them & every time i would call them, they said they did not know anything and kept on asking for my information

Matt W.

Yelp
We had a good experience on the purchase. But when I brought the ATV in for routine maintenance & some diagnostics, they charged a ton & didn't even complete the work. So my oil change, filter & spark plug replacement cost me $1k. They didn't even top up the coolant fluid. They charged me an additional $300 to diagnose a couple of warning lights & power steering malfunction & then gave me a cost of $3500 to completely replace the power steering module. I declined. My son replaced the fuse on the power steering and we were back in business for $25 and have a bunch of extra fuses now, no thanks to Clawson. I won't be doing business here again. I'll take my machine anywhere else but here. Now I'm shopping for another but won't be buying anything from Clawson this time.

Jenny C.

Yelp
I dropped my motorcycle off for service on 3/22 for recalls to be done. I was told it would take around 1-2 days. Granted they are closed on Sunday and Monday but I never heard from service at all so called on 3/28 for an update. Told my service advisor would could back in a couple of hours. Never heard from them except at closing time it was ready. Went to pick it up on 3/29 and was told everything is done and recommended some services. Never got a quote for recommendations on paperwork. So called dealership and the guy said he would email me with the quote and of course never received anything. I do not recommend clawson service department but unfortunately it is the only place around me.

Cody E.

Yelp
How about get a competent person at your parts desk. It's a shame when you try to buy local and support you guys and you're parts guy doesn't even put the order in. Lost another customer to online shopping.

Yelp
Wanted to give a shout out to Dale Ishida factory Honda technician and Kasey Gonzales service writer when the rear brake failed on my 2012 Honda Goldwing. I was 2 hours away on a road trip when I started having rear brake issues of locking up. Called Clawson limped my GW to their service department they took it in right away... Dale assessed the problem ordered the parts... the secondary master brake cylinder had failed... though they hopefully would get the part the next day but since it was Memorial weekend the part was delayed for a few days. Stayed with a good friend in the Oakhurst area until the bike was ready the following week... all checked out good n was on the road again. Yes it was a little pricey overall but felt confident that my machine was fixed correctly by Dale after talking to him extensively... thanks overall Clawson n to everyone else involved for getting me home safely... Yelp
I am ashamed by how much I overpaid for a motorcycle. I was treated well by Clawson back in 2007 and was going to buy a 3rd bike from them after this one, but hard lesson learned. They absolutely fleeced me on the price and made me feel a fool for believing anything they said about that price. I bought my third bike used at PCP motorsports just outside Sacramento and they had the same bike I bought from Clawson for 2k less out the door. Some places have it for 3k less. I could have bought I WHOLE other bike for that! I was so dumb for buying local and new. Learn from my mistake, buy used, and never from Clawson.

Yelp
I called then about mounting a front tire on my 06 Gold Wing., they said $271, I said I have the tire, I just want a price to mount it, he said $271. I tried to use a local shop but at those prices I will continue to us Wilson power sports in Mader. They charge 1/3 of what Clawson does.

Yelp
I Called clawsons and spoke to a sales representative with some questions I had, he was supposed to call me back with answers. The next day I called again to follow up,still no call back that day from the rep. At that point I started looking at other dealerships for a new atv feeling neglected from clawsons. Saterday with clawsons being the closest dealership to me I decided to drive there and and look at the atv I was interested in with the intent to buy elsewhere. And that's where I met tommy. He took me outback and answered all my questions as we looked over the atv I was interested in,and didn't make me feel pressured to buy it at all. I decided to run some numbers with tommy and decided to buy it. With it being late in the day we ending up staying almost an hour after they closed to complete the paperwork and tommy had no problem with it! I had to drive back to clawsons there next open business day to pick it up,cause I had drove my car because I didn't plan on buying from them. I highly recommend Tommy,he changed my mind about clawsons and I will definitely will be using him on my next purchase. Thanks tommy for my 2025 honda rancher.

Yelp
Clawson definitely doesn't have the best reputation in Fresno but I've only had positive experiences. 1) I purchased a used bike (cbr1000rr 2012) from a reputable dealer in SD. When it came it had a couple issues. I took it to a different repair shop (that had great Yelp reviews) but they couldn't figure it out. Begrudgingly I took it to Clawson. They figured out the problem very quickly (battery related) and fixed it. $350(ish) felt a little expensive but I was thrilled to have the bike back in great working order. 2) the guys in parts/clothing were very, very helping in getting me some gear that I needed. Zero up sell and great customer service. One guy had a huge beard and rode Harley's and I think the other guys name was Mike--great energy and total bro . 3) I had an issue with the gas tank not opening. I brought it in and they fixed it for free. What?! Yes, you read that correctly. I know they had to shave part of the cylinder down and lube it. I know that took time. This is a tremendous effort and greatly appreciated!

Thomas D.

Yelp
If someone asks me where to buy parts this is the list I give them. If you want the " 15yr old part time service dude, Full time racer know it all" go here. If you have any knowledge of motorcycles go to Wilsons 1) wilsons 2) cyclegear 4) napa 5) oriellys 6) 4wheel parts 7) Wendys drive through 8) clawson

Yelp
I recently gave Clawson motor sports a two star review because of a extremely high price quote for a service that my motorcycle needs. After I posted it Jimmy responded to my post. We talked on the phone and he was able to solve the issue and got the price down to a reasonable amount. Thanks Jimmy

Yelp
Joel from Clawson made sure that buying my 2024 Triumph Street Triple R was seamless. This buying experience with Clawson-initially with Sophie, then with Joel, and finally Dave-was very smooth and I'm excited to own a Triumph again after over a decade. While shopping around, I spoke to 6 different Triumph dealers. Working with Joel was by far the most pleasant experience. A couple of the others dealers tried to force me to drive hours to a dealership, went back on offers to price match, tried to distract me with irrelevant facts about their dealership rather than what was important to me, and even made totally unnecessary condescending remarks. Refreshingly, there was none of this from Joel at Clawson. Instead, he was proactive, transparent, respectful, patient, and responsive throughout. Joel called me back promptly, offered the best initial price, and matched the best counter offer I received. He was patient with my questions and flexible with my constraints. He made it easy for me to make the payment, especially tricky during a holiday week. Finally, my bike was delivered to my door by Dave, despite stormy weather, and with a full tank of gas! Despite a long drive from Fresno to SF and another one to go back, Dave patiently & efficiently walked me through all the paperwork and all the basic information I needed about the bike. Thank you so much Joel, Dave, and Sophie!

Yelp
Came here to get some quads. Clayton Bradley was patient with us and answered all of our questions. Even the dumb ones. Eric in the accessories dept helped us get equipped with helmets and safety gear. Making sure my daughter will be well protected while riding. Can't wait to hit the dirt!

Yelp
First thing first when you walk in ask for Clay! Clay is an awesome salesman, extremely reliable, and a man of his word. He will go the extra mile to make sure you are a satisfied customer. I purchased a Polaris slingshot from him, he helped me coordinate delivery to Hawaii. My slingshot just got put on the boat today in immaculate condition. I'm so excited to get this thing in paradise. I was not by any means the easiest customer it took me about six months to make a decision, Clay never made me feel like I was wasting his time he always told me he is willing to help out with whatever I need in regards to purchasing exactly what I want. I even ordered a cover for it from the parts department in the back, the guys back there are super friendly and helpful. Last but not least diamond in financing made everything super fast and easy! Thank you Clawson team for this great experience!

Yelp
I shopped all around the valley looking for the perfect dirt bike. Either nobody had what I wanted, the price wasn't right, or the staff wasn't helpful. Clawson nailed each and every one of those. Soon as I walked in, Carson B immediately asked me what I wanted in a bike, took me to the KTM's, and my heart was set. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Carson helped me through the whole process and answered all my questions. He even stayed past closing time to make sure I was able to take the bike home same day, and get me fitted with some killer moto gear. I'll definitely be coming back to purchase a bike for my wife and all my other Motorsport needs. Thank you to everyone as Clawson Motosports!

Yelp
Bought some quads to make our summer more eventful. Clayton Bradley helped us find what we were looking for. Answered all our questions and didn't pressure us. Eric in the accessories dept got us hooked up with our riding gear and was great to work with. Give these guys a bonus!

Yelp
I just bought a new 2024 motorcycle at Clawson Motorsports in Fresno, which I believe to be a top-rate motorcycle dealership - in all respects. To start with, Clayton, the internet salesperson, found in Clawson's extensive inventory, the exact new 2024 Honda I wanted: and he helped me make it happen - to my requirements and within my budget! Within just a couple of hours at the dealership, while meeting many of the staff, across several departments, I realized Clawson is a well-run, highly "customer service" oriented business, where the employees know their business and enjoy making customers happy! While every staff member was busy in the Parts Dept (for my add-on accessories); in the Service Dept (for my technical questions, set-up requirements, and concerns about the new machine); and in the Administration Dept (to explain my warranty, sales contract, and bill of sale). However, everyone at Clawson's found time for me, and made the experience top rate. What is more, I could tell they all love motorcycles, and it is fun to be at Clawson's and talk motorsports. I am new at Clawson's, but I am not new with dealerships. I can see why this is a successful, longstanding, "help make it happen" motorsport dealership in the Central Valley!

Yelp
Extremely friendly and helpful staff, got my boyfriend into the bike he want, and even gave great advice about customization!!

Manuel A.

Yelp
They over price there bikes I felt taken after I did more home work if I ever go buy another bike again probably not I will stay away from now on

Jose A.

Yelp
Took my bike in to have rear tire changed. Saddle bag fell off on my trip that same weekend. Showed up the following Tuesday and Buck in the Service department said they would take care of it. It did take some time but half of it was my fault being busy at work and other half was all the holidays. Finally had the bike finished they did a great job. I wanna also thank Thomas for stepping in after Bucks departure and keeping the ball rolling on it.

Yelp
Purchased a Raptor 700 from clawson Motorsports. My sales rep was Alex . Very patient sales rep easy to work with . I highly recommend working with him . The process took longer than I wanted 2 hours from beginning to end . Other than that I definitely would buy again . Busy store with a lot of things going on . Thank you guys again and keep up the great work .

Joao D.

Yelp
I highly discourage anyone take their motorcycle to be worked at this establishment. I made an appointment to take my BMW K1600, Gorge at service Department told me they have best Mechanics there. $160 later I was asked to pickup my bike and take it to BMW. I asked why didn't they tell me they couldn't work on BMW's before they charged me, they had no answer. HORRIBLE

Yelp
EDIT: Jimmy (I think Floor Manager?) has made everything right - I have to say I, admittedly so, was very inconsiderate to him and he still went above and beyond!! (I did apologize) rating is on original experience

Philo B.

Yelp
Ungodly markup on moto parts , Will never shop here again . $49.95 For a pair Of FLEXAIR KNEE BRACE SOCKS , Are you people INSANE ? 100% are $35.00 And FastHouse are $ 40.00 On a competitor's website, I Will Never go shop clawson , Whom ever reads this ,Please shop around for parts many good websites out there.

Zachery V.

Yelp
Carson B is the worst sales representative there. Argumentative for no reason, and very unprofessional in the way he speaks to. Needs a serious attitude adjustment. Ruined my entire experience, I would never use this guy to buy any vehicle from this business.

Jc S.

Yelp
I'll start by saying Clawson so far has been on point not only with the sales portion ( Alex aka cinnamon ) great sales person! But also with their service Ejay! I've dealt with both sides recently and so far I'm satisfied. Im so satisfied that in Feb of 22 I pulled the trigger on my first UTV and 3 months later just bought my second one from them! I do agree with some of the reviews tho. Can they improve in certain areas 100% starting with the just the meet and greet would be a start! But over all Alex sales guy and ejay in service have me coming back with their awesome attitudes and customer service!

Yelp
I made a appointment before thanksgiving to have my RZR worked. I dropped it off on December 5th it is now the middle of January and they still haven't touched it. I keep calling and they say they will work on it at the end of the week. The problem is they are the only ones locally that work on RZRs. Terrible customer service

Chris M.

Yelp
Bought a snowmobile from Clawson's. Had a great experience dealing with Clayton, Carson, and Mike. Top notch service from everyone there. Very happy with purchase and highly recommended. Thanks Clawson motorsports.

Yelp
I came to Clawson motor sport, hoping to find a triple black can am. Mind you these are extremely hard to find right now, I had been calling around to find the one and everywhere had been sold out of 4 door can ams period, color wasn't even an option. Not only that, all the sales representatives were rude & not helpful. I called Clawson Motorsport and spoke to Raven, she was fast at getting me all the information I had asked for, luckily they had what I was looking for. From the moment I arrived to the end of our purchase, Raven was competent and efficient she knew exactly what she was talking about and was able to get us the best deal by far! I definitely recommend going to Clawson motor sport for you purchase.
google avatar

Rogelio M.

Yelp
Definitely a hard two stars for this business. I fell in love with a used motorcycle, purchased it without even haggling, made payments on it and now cannot even ride my beloved motorcycle because Clawson Motorsports cannot process DMV paperwork within 90 days! My bike is currently parked with expired temp tags, my heart is broken, and I do NOT recommend you trust this business with your first or next motorcycle purchase. I wish you a better experience than mine. Peace.
google avatar

C L.

Yelp
Never again. The salesman was fine but customer service here is awful. I have called multiple times for a recall on my quad and cannot get anyone to call me back to make an appointment. I was told by someone else they had the same issue and just had to drive down with theirs and basically argue with them to fix it. I had the same issue with finance. I called multiple times and she told me she'd call me back with an answer but never did. She also never turned in the paperwork to the manufacturer so it sat there for 2 weeks before anything even got done. I had to call and speak with another service rep to get it started. I would give the salesman himself 4 stars but with everything else we've experienced, don't buy from these people. It's not worth the hassle. They just won't answer the phone or they'll tell you they'll call you back.

Aaron L.

Yelp
$120 for an oil change on a kawi 400 is a joke. Just go to Sonikk boom performance if you want your bike worked on. David who owns that business is a very talented mechanic and has been working on my bikes for years If you need an oil change which is simple, either do it yourself or go to sonikk boom Buying a bike from this company is cool, just don't get any service done here, they will raise the price as high as they possibly can. Just don't do it
google avatar

Jimmy H.

Yelp
I was helped through my whole buying process by Zachary Anger. He was very helpful and assisted me with all my questions. I highly recommend getting a motorcycle from here. Will definitely be back! Everyone was helpful.

Arlan M.

Yelp
I get that the key to satisfaction in our modern world is low expectations. These dopes can't even meet my low bar though. Parts people don't know what they are doing and start to make stuff up or just blow you off instead of just saying they don't know. Service is no better. I have to double check everything they do and mistakes are not uncommon. I'm out of patience and looking for somewhere else to do business. Good luck and be careful if you do business with Clawson's.

Yelp
Had a great experience with Eric the salesmen he was super helpful and help us with the right prices and even started the process for another bike

Yelp
After 10yrs of trying to be loyal to this dealer they have finally pushed me away. My first purchase was in 2008. I went down to buy a Snowmobile & Enclosed trailer. About $18,000 for both. I decided to buy the sled from another dealer on the way down that was closer to where I live. When I arrived and told them they said they would only sell me the trailer if I bought the snowmobile. Such BS! I ended up buying both because I needed the trailer but voiced my opinion about how shady that was. 2010 I snow checked another snowmobile. $12,500 for this one. That transaction went great because of Jerry Ham. Best sales guy they ever had who they fired. Now let me say when you snow check a sled yo are lording in the spring for the next season. So they are guaranteed a sale. They don't have to stock the sled, pay flooring or anything so it's an easy sale. Normally this is sold for a great price. 2015 I bought a 4 seater RZR. They quoted me very high and told me to go out and shop other dealers. I asked don't you want me to be loyal? No we want you to go shop and then we will match that price. I don't want to waste time shopping just give me the best price. They won't do that they force you to go to other dealers. They care nothing about loyalty. So I shopped and found Berts beat them by $2000. They still wouldn't match the price but came in about $500 above. I decided to still do it so I didn't have to drive to SoCal. 2017 bought 2 snow check snowmobiles. Same thing they quoted me super high and forced me to shop other dealers instead of rewarding my loyalty and offering the best price. Again other dealers beat them by $2,000. They matched that price but wasted my time having to shop other dealers. $23,500 for that sale. Now 2019 and same thing trying to snow check a snowmobile. Arctic Cat dropped the MSRP to $12,595 and Clawsons quotes me $18,100. They didn't even know anything about the special Arctic Cat was offering. They tell me no negotiating but once I get a quote from someone else they drop the price to $14,800. Still about $1,000 higher than other dealers. They tell me they always assume customer wants to pay the highest price so that's why they start high. I don't know anyone that wants to pay high. I am also ordering a snowmobile for my 2 boys. They are loosing out on a lot of future loyal business. $20,000 for the 2 sleds I am ordering. Service department. I had some recalls done on my RZR and wanted a full service done on it. They called to tell me it was ready. I specifically asked that all work was complete. I drove 2hrs to find out it had a dead battery and no service work was done only the recalls. I ended up taking the RZR home and doing the service work myself. One positive note I have had my sleds worked on and didn't have many issues with them. My good friends went in to buy 2 quads for their kids and a turbo RZR with tracks and tons of accessories. Salesmen would not sell them anything because the age of their kids. They went to another dealer and spent nearly $70k in cash. Plus the dealer delivered them to Pismo. Now thats customer service. I have spent around $100k with this dealer in 10yrs. Maybe that might not be much to them but I think it is. They care nothing about having loyal customers and force you to shop other dealers to find the best price. Its obvious they are owned by a car dealership family because they have shady car salesmen tactics. Kurt is a really nice guy but Darlene is the puppet master and calls all the shots. Unfortunately we only have 2 Arctic Cat snowmobile dealers in California. Time to start shopping out of state I guess. We are a huge motorsports family with Jet Skis, Snowmobiles, Motorcross, SideXSides & More. They are loosing a lot of future business!!

Yelp
Wanted to buy a used ruckus. We called ahead of time telling Clayton we were on our way. We get there and he didn't even know where it was. When we found it it was in parts. Asked how much. He didnt know. I told him i wanted it today. So he goes and asks the sales manager. So we try to go inside and look around. Dude at the door told my son in law to wear a mask. My son in law said he had a medical exception to wearing a mask. Dude at front said it didnt matter you have to wear one anyway. We walked out. Sales guy came to my truck and said guy with price was out of town and he could get back to us tomorrow. We said no thanks and started leaving. Then I heard Clayton say some nasty stuff about us because of not wearing masks. This place sucks!

Yelp
Be careful of Clawson Motorsports, they will do multiple deals for one Motorcycle in stock. I was working with someone to get a Yamaha MT-09 in Cyan. Told the sales rep I was set on getting that bike, and what can I do to hold it, told him I was about a day away from financing. The guy told me don't worry I'll hold it, didn't ask for a deposit or anything. So once I got my financing from Navy Federal, the sales rep dodges all my calls. So I finally called the dealership directly, and the person I speak to says, oh yeah we sold that bike 3 days ago. So wtf? You sold it the same day I spoke to you about it and you told me you'd hold it? Also the sales rep instead of trying to get me to do a trade in which you think the dealership would want, he wanted to try and buy it from me on the side. The cherry on top was that it was the last in that color in California.

Yelp
I've done business here for several decades and spent large amounts of hard earned income enjoying my loved hobby of motorcycle riding. I recently added two motorcycles to my list of many purchases from the location. I've made many friends, and seen many come and go from the business. I was beyond pleased with the experience of my recent purchase of two motorcycles with Carson. All I can say is what an outstanding and fine young man!! He answered all my questions and would always return my calls when I wanted further questions answered. There was no back and forth regarding pricing, he knew I was ready to buy and got me exactly what I was looking for. It's hard to find reliable hard working people in today's day and age. I can't express how pleased I was with Carson and his desire to help me with what I was wanting and looking for. It's easy to make a sale, but making a friendship is something special!! Clawson is lucky to have this young man on their team. I have a lot of respect for a good, no pressure, no nonsense salesman, get back to you with answers person. And I have tons of respect for a fine young man that has served his country!! Thank you Carson for your service! And thank you for making me feel great about spending thousands of dollars with you. I will be back when I'm ready for my next purchase, and it will be with you. Blessings!

Yelp
Very unhappy with Clawson's. We Ordered a few pit bikes and when they came in, the price increased by 10% of what we were quoted. Then was told if you don't want them someone else will by them. Clawson's is more concerned about moving product then customer service. I would recommend checking out Wilson's Power sports in Madera. Very friendly and they go out of there way to get returning customers.
