Overall service very good. Nice games. The bacon bacon bacon burger was good from my boyfriends plate. But honestly the fondue burger was tasteless. I asked for well done was still pink inside. The burger had no flavor at all. Not even the cheese made it better. Bun also tasted weird. So all the hype about this burger. Definitely not worth $16. Then the waiter offered options on fries. We assumed they came along with the meal. But we were charged extra for choosing waffle fries n onion rings. Server should have explained that.

Great service and expansive draft beer selection. I love the various games they have for customers to use. They have an outdoor area as well. The burger and nachos were decent. Would def come back for happy hour 3p-6p.

Go during non-busy hours and lounge around comfortably while having a bite and trying out the selection of drinks at this location. Appetizer portions are big. Consider sharing or be ready to bring some Buffalo Califlower home for dinner, my fave. Also fantastic for a large group celebration.

The room with big windows that look straight into Arthur Avenue is our favorite spot to hang out in Little Italy of The Bronx. Service is friendly and efficient. Beyond the beer menu, you will find a wine option that is much appreciated. Don't be discouraged by the can, it's a really good Malbec. Food is consistently good: chicken strips are good (and spicy), fried cauliflower is tasty as well. Several game options. Young college crowd. Good playlist with occasional 80's and 90's hits.

Clinton Hall is the place where, after a hard day of work, people from all walks of life gather around and be themselves, away from the constrictions of employment etiquette. I personally loved the guava fruit drink, with 5 percent strength. My friends and I were able to catch up on events. Also, we met this IT dude who opened our eyes to be ambitious and successful. We exchanged social media and gathered ideas on our next job ambition. The place is immaculate, with the vibe of a local pub. It is well-maintained, and the good noise is just what I needed, reminding me of my last party with friends last year. All the festivities drowned out the silence I usually get when alone. I love the drinks, the vibe, and most of all, the water they provide to hydrate the mood. Thank you Clinton Hall. It was a pleasure to be here.

We had the Clinton Hall classic and a chicken sandwich. If you’re inclined to get her classic, you might want to ask for them to put the sauce on the side. Mine was covered in a white sauce, which made the burger unappetizing to me. The chicken sandwich was good and I very much enjoyed the truffle fries. I would like to come back and try another burger, over I would say this is a good burger joint.

We absolutely fell in love with this youthful place. With outside design elements which rival international street murals in most major cities, this is a spot to hang your coat. Beautifully decorated establishment coupled with strong food menu items and an extensive cocktail list. Definitely a spot to procrastinate with friends while playing board games (which they furnish) or simply pregame before you paint the town red. We highly recommend this place largely in part for their outstanding service and empanadas. And happy hour is hella lit!

This was our first time at a Clinton Hall establishment and we're definitely coming back! We had a wonderful Happy Hour, enjoyed some great dishes, and had a blast with the games. There is a giant Scrabble board on a wall if you are interested or other old school games, i.e. Uno, Jenga, or even the fishing game! The bartender, Kevin, was absolutely friendly / down to earth, knowledgeable about the beers on tap, helpful with menu recommendations, and attentive to all the folks in the restaurant. We ordered the Erdinger Hefeweizen and the Clinton Hall IPA off the Happy Hour drink list and were pleased with our choices. We ordered the Fondue Cheeseburger; the Bacon, Bacon, Bacon Burger; and the Crystal Methadonuts. Our food came out promptly, was absolutely delicious, and sent us into food baby city!

This had to be one of the worst brunch experiences I've ever had in NYC, the food was real BAD & the drinks were WARM. One star only for UNO. They are so many better food stops in the area don't waste your time here.

Before the pandemic, I stumbled into this beer garden one evening with some friends for an after-work hangout, and I must say, it's a great addition to the Bronx! They have never failed me in the few years that I have been going here. At Clinton Hall, I can always have a wonderful time. This is a terrific spot to visit if you're looking for exciting vibes and traditional American meals. This Beer Garden is situated in the heart of the Bronx's Little Italy. With activities like Jenga, Connect Four, arcade games, and a big TV behind the bar that's perfect for watching sports, the area is both appealing and interactive! With so many selections, including burgers, chicken wings, chicken tenders, hot dogs, and salads, they have a great menu! Therefore, there is undoubtedly something here for everyone. Here, I try to keep things simple. Every time, I order a Classic Burger with fries on the side! The burger is consistently juicy and flavorful, and it's a great size. Although they can adapt to your preference, I enjoy my burger medium. This place's burger has quickly become one of my faves, and the fries are delicious, too! They also have buffalo cauliflower and brussel sprouts, which are excellent to split at the table. The food is served promptly, and they have a nice drink selection. The Downeast cider is my personal favorite because it's crisp and fresh. In addition to providing excellent customer service, the bartender will answer your inquiries and make recommendations if you're unsure what to get. This beer garden is situated in a busy neighborhood. If you choose to drive, you can find parking by going around the block but be careful with your car. However, I would recommend using public transportation here, both trains and buses are nearby. The vibe is chill, and they have both indoor and outdoor seats, and provide a happy hour, so this is a wonderful place to hang out with friends! The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the prices are rather reasonable. I had a great time here, and I would definitely come again!

Hidden gem on Arthur Ave! I really enjoyed it here and it was a nice place to get a quick bite and beer. They have games to play, music and it's a pretty spacious place. I did go on a Friday around 4 and it was quite nice. Not overly crowded. The beer offerings were pretty good. My husband got the burger and said it was okay, I had the pretzel and I really enjoyed it. I look forward to going back and trying something new. They also have happy hour from 3-6.

Cute spot in/near Bronx Little Italy. The games are cool and ask far as bar food goes - it's good. Service cool. I've been there pre and post pandemic.

Man has this location taken a turn for the worse. Manager and waitstaff rude and upset because I had to ask for ketchup three times and didn't get it until having our food for over 10 mins. Fries were soggy. This short sad little man really had an attitude handing me a tiny cup of ketchup for my mountain of fries that I literally had to get up and go walk up to the bar to get after having asked for it 10+ mins prior more than once. Few games. Just overall not as good as it used to be. RIP Waffle fries and good service.

I give this place 3 stars in hopes that it makes it there on a good day....my real review is a 2.5. I have a dear friend with great taste rave about this place and it's brunch menu....she could not believe how affordable it was and simply really good food....so she invited me to brunch....and unfortunately on the day I went this place did not live up to her review.... So first things first...they no longer serve brunch ... The waiter who attended us lack personality and seemed annoyed by our questions. I wanted a brunch cocktail however with them no longer serving brunch the waiter could not recommend anything nor did they have a menu... and personally I did not want a mimosa in a can....he told me they had a full bar...to ask for something and he would see if the bar could do it...however he was very knowledgeable about the beers they carried....I settled for ice water... The food itself is ok.....did not live up to the description on menu...example....the truffle fries....needed truffle...one inquired about the lack of and in return we were given a sauce the looked and tasted like ceaser dressing...cilantro.. and Parmesan cheese...my hot honey chicken sandwich was not spicy nor did it have honey...I was later given regular honey to add...while I was given a big portion the chicken was over cooked.... Look overall I would not go back....the place is close to Fordham University and really more of a dive bar...I think only the students could appreciate this spot . . Oh and I will say....it's super affordable...we got 2 meals....and 2 appetizers...and a ginger ale...check came in right under $60

Great beer garden. They easily accommodated our large group on a Tuesday night. Service was quick and they were well prepared. Great variety of craft beers with a handful of local options. The beer initially ordered wasn't pouring well so the bartender made another recommendation which was awesome! I appreciate the insightfulness and commitment to great customer experience. I didn't order any food but my friends' food order came out quickly. Nice experience all around.

Clinton Hall never disappoints! It was awesome to see the franchise in the Bronx. I've been to the FiDi one years ago and loved it so it was nice to see this one 15 minutes from me. Their food is delicious as always. I made my boyfriend tried to the doughnut grilled cheese - he fell in love. It's so yummy! And their tomato soup doesn't miss. Ig got the fondue cheeseburger, it was really good. They didn't give a bowl of fondue like the pictures so I had to keep asking for cheese which was slightly annoying. Their beers selection is insane though. A huge variety so you have ample choices. The service is a little slow but that's cause there's so many college kids and the place is huge but the waiters are fairly quick once you ring them down. They also have games, like Uno, Jenga, Never Have I Ever... etc. A dope spot. Definitely going back.

Stopped buy one after noon and I was not happy with the service or the stinky bathroom !! And the food was not worth the money

Very chill bar with plenty of seating and lots of games, including Jenga, seated soccer, scrabble, uno, etc. The pineapple mango sour beer is delicious. Korean chicken tenders are $8 on happy hour, and they're great and filling. Fun place to go to happy hour. Very nice people. Just beware of the area - people in the neighborhood walking around trying to break into cars.

Adorable space I stumbled upon with a friend! We ended up going in because of the music. When we stepped inside, there were these different table top games and even some arcade games! The food was so good. The burger? Made right to desired doneness. I like mine medium and my friend rare, usually we get both of them one way or the other so this was a nice surprise. Adored the chicken tenders. I ordered the pretzel believing I could eat that and a burger. That pretzel is BIG. We also had drinks, on tap beer that was super tasty. They have a lot on tap and of course it changes from time to time. Check it out with some friends! It's definitely a good time!

Chicken was a weird texture and felt very uncooked taste was horrible. I would not recommend this to anybody

During my recent visit to Clinton Hall, I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional service and vibrant atmosphere. The standout aspect of the evening was the outstanding hospitality provided by Stewy and Shelby, the hosts. Their attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and professional service truly set the bar high. From the moment we stepped in, Stewie and Shelby made us feel welcomed. They were attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction throughout the evening. Their recommendations from the menu were spot-on, highlighting the chef's best dishes.

Had a lot of fun here! Plenty games and friendly staff as well. Would definitely recommend

Love this place!! Came here tonight with friends to catch up and watch some sporting events. It was perfect I am not a football fan so I was able to watch my sport golf. The kids had a sitter and it was a perfect date night. We will be back

Nice nice, wIth a beer garden, and games to play while you get your drinks. Spacious and cozy bar, for a group gathering or a solo drink by the bar. Has a good selection of beers and a decent cocktails menu and some wine, but everyone's taste. It does have too a good selection of finger food/bar food from typical appetizers as French fries and nachos to burgers and regular entrees. Prices are very decent for the area location. I bet during summer time this is one of the places to be in the area. Will definitely give another try.

I been meaning to try this place since it's closer to my home then their other locations at 36th, 51st , financial district and BK. The place when we arrive was very cute lots of games and TVs. The seats however were not my favorite as they were a little uncomfortable. They have benches and tables which were a little too crowded for my group. That didn't stop us from having fun we started with the mystery beer bucket they brought 5 nice selections of beers so it was a great price for $25 the food we ordered came out quickly and was actually delicious. We ordered the black bean burger (sort of the healthiest option) buffalo cauliflower , wings , fondue burger , and turkey burger each came with a side of fries I decided to get the truffle fries and they were sooo yummy and crisp. Our server was fast and attentive he said he couldn't separate two bills with the other couple we came with so we just split the bills ourselves & paid with two cards. Other than that it was great a bit chilly inside so bring a sweater.

I came here on a Sunday around 4pm during football season. It wasn't too crowded which I liked and the bartender was super cool and attentive. We ordered Korean bbq and Buffalo wings with French fries and everything was fresh and delicious. Definitely will come back again!

This place is so terrible. The waitress seemed annoyed that I asked her if she could take our order after 15 mins of sitting at the table. Nobody explained to us that we had to scan for the menu. The couple next to us helped us out. The waitress was Caucasian and we are Hispanic. When she told me someone will be over to take our order and stormed off I turned to my fiancé and said watch them send over the Spanish dude and sure enough they did. The food was horrible. I asked for cocktails from their menu, they didn't have it. We tried to make the best of it but the vibe there was off. This place is for college students who just want shitty cheap food and beer. Not recommended.

My review is late but that takes away from nothing. Came here one summer day after work with my homegirl and the place was mostly empty (about 530). From the minute we walked in, the staff was attentive to us. The waiter gave us excellent recommendations on beers to order based on what we told him we liked. We both got burgers with fries- her the bacon bacon bacon burger and me the bacon egg burger. Both burgers were cooked to our liking and delicious. The space is nice and played decent music. They have a front area with doors that open to the outside. High top tables and low picnic like tables in the back area. The place was clean including the restrooms which are unisex (but private). And the games...giant connect four, jenga, Pictionary and more. We had fun and they had good music. We stayed until about 7pm when the crowd started picking up.

Historically, Arthur Ave has been the mecca of Italian culture and cuisine in New York City. While this still holds true, the neighborhood's proximity to Fordham University, The Bronx Zoo, and Botanical Gardens makes it a hangout for a variety of locals and tourists alike. Over the years, this has led to the development of a number of bars and restaurants in addition to the staple Italian eateries. A good example of this is Clinton Hall. Sitting right off Arthur Ave on 189th, Clinton sits inside the first floor of a building; it really stands out due to the huge mural that has been painted on the facing side of the building - it really makes it pop. The interior has a beer hall vibe to it with dark colors, a bar, long bench-like tables, televisions, and a variety of games that patrons can play. The space is smaller than I expected, but it's not cramped at all - I was quite comfortable. In addition to typical small plates found at a typical bar, the main stars of the menu are burgers and beer. I wasn't in the mood for beer, so I just decided to have a club soda and explore the burger section. Ironically, the item that stood out to me the most was the Sort of Healthy Sandwich (actually, they all looked good but I have two weddings coming up soon so I'm watching ;-). Anyway, the Sort of Healthy was a grilled chicken breast topped with Brie, pesto, lettuce, and tomato. The sandwich was pretty good - the chicken was nice and juicy and they didn't skimp on the pesto. I didn't really taste the Brie, but it didn't ruin the sandwich for me. The fries weren't anything outstanding, but they were good nonetheless. Service was good - everyone was friendly and our food came out pretty quickly. Overall, this is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and the Bronx as a whole; I would have no qualms about returning for a burger or just to grab a drink and hang out.

I was excited to visit your establishment earlier this evening, but was gravely disappointed with the poor of service. Manager not friendly and couldn't even greet patrons entering the establishment. Seated in the BEAUTIFUL garden and served water. Waited 20 minutes, but none of the servers returned to the area. They were all hanging by the inside bar. We were hungry so we left! Tremont has many other restaurants, that will appreciate, accommodate, and provide good service.

This establishment draws you in with it's cleanliness, decor, flatscreen tv's playing sports, outdoor seating area, bar with nice assortment of beer on tap & it's in Bronx's own Little Italy. Service I received from the Bartender was welcoming & he was very polite & attentive. I sat at bar & was offered total hospitality. I ordered fondue burger which comes with fries & a Strawberry Cider on tap. The melted cheddar & fries on top of brioche made it hard to pick up the burger & plastic fork & knife were not helpful & quiet a poor choice to offer diners. Fries also could use some spicing to give it a unique flavor instead of typical everyday nothing to brag about fries. After eating the burger I felt dizzy & overheated. I felt faint & the darkness & stiffelling air by the bar made me feel sick. When I stepped outside the waiter ( I believe his name is Kelvin) did more than he had to. He followed me outside to make sure I was feeling well, spoke to me, offered me medical help & gave me some refreshingly cold water which made me feel better after a while. For that reason alone, I will always peek in to see if he's in to say hello. Hope he's commended as it was his tentativeness that leaves me open to trying Clinton Hall again. Overall the food & drink was 3 stars but the service by Kelvin was 5 Stars Plus.

Clinton Hall is such a great space for friends, classmates, or colleagues to grab a bite or drinks, play games, and just chill. I would bring a date here to ease the anxiety. Taboo, Jumbo Uno cards, and Dominoes? Let's play! I love the indoor and outdoor seating complete with the synthetic grass. Their menu was simple, featuring all of the essentials like wings, burgers, and fries for under $20. The drinks menu was pretty good too. With help from our server, Harry, I ordered a cider for the first time ever. He is such a resource and attentive to customers. I had the wings, which were great. I dabbled with the hottest sauce but preferred dining on the mild side. Such a cool place to really just kick back and relax. We lost track of time because we had so much fun. When you're in the Bronx, this is the place to be.

It's a lovely bar and hangout spot. The beers were plentiful. The food was great. I enjoy the cauliflower wings. My friends enjoyed the sliders. The fries were plenty and great tasting. I had the veggie burger and it was filling abs tasted great as well. Chipotle mayo was the sauce.

Nice place but because of the pandemic their menu change. It's a little bit alarming when you go and they tell you that. But I had a good time and I enjoyed my day. The waiter did an amazing job.

The food was not good. The chicken wings were very fatty and were soft. Spicy tuna was not good either, just very try hard. Draft beers were pretty gross. Also, terrible service. The bartender with little man syndrome was reluctant to provide service. Overall bad experience, which sucks because this place has all the amenities to excel.

Abby was delightful, good and beer delicious. Can't wait to go back for Thursday open mic night.

My friends and I go to Clinton Hall every Tuesday and absolutely love it. Drinks are super reasonable, and it's just a really chill place. But we really love the place because of Gerardo!!! He's super attentive, makes great recs, and overall is a really great dude.

Definitely a dope spot to come here with a group. The food was amazing and well seasoned. Its not a place to come if you want a quiet night out as it can be lound, but if ur coming with a group and dont mind the noise its definitely good. The burger i had was perfectly cooked and our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely going back there. Ill try there happy hour next time

I love coming here. Service is great! Gerardo is hands down the best guy out there. So nice and attentive and genuinely cares about everyone who comes into the bar. 10/10 recommend!

i came to this place for the first time i wa so exicited to taste the wings but iam s o dissapointed because it didn't have no flavored it was horrible taste not what I expected for the price i payed the chef has to get it together

Clinton Hall is such an amazing establishment. So welcoming to all the college students. Gerardo is epic and such a welcoming server. Fast service and good for a chill weeknight or a weekend dinner. Nachos were AMAZEBALLS!!!

I've visited a couple of times and my review stands. The drinks here SUCK! extremely overpriced. $16. Mind you they don't even have the ingredients for their cocktails but they'll charge you for a basic drink the same amount. It's absurd. I'm sure the Manhattan location is above this one and it's a shame Bronx residents deserve quality! Some of the food is good like the sliders, but stay away from their chicken. Two bites in and I knew something was off. It was like they took it out the freezer and fried it quickly, it tasted awful. Got sick the next morning. The ambience is the only thing I like it's usually very quiet throughout the weekday but the music is god awful. Music a white step dad would listen to. They need new bartenders, servers (the girl looked super annoyed bo friendly vibes at all) and chefs, I really hope the manager sees this bc this spot can be fantastic, also this is for the weekday staff I don't k is what this place looks like on a weekend . Philly sliders and cleanliness and games are it's only saving Grace.

Pretty nice beer hall in the Bronx. Great variety of beers, they even have more than just one stout. That was pretty great. There is a big outdoor seating area and there's also plenty of tables indoors that can see a medium size group of people. Overall, great place to stop by if you're in the neighborhood or after a date on Arthur Ave!

If the workers don't like working here , please quit. You're rude and lucky the drinks are cheap. Because if the beer wasn't cheap no one would be coming back.

Craft brew in the Bronx- enough said! This place is a gem, it has a wide selection of beers on tap, as well as specialty selection of canned beers. Their food menu is also delicious; burgers are great, truffle fries on point, buffalo cauliflower is also a good option if you're trying to be healthy and still indulge. Today I had the Vietnamese style crispy Brussel sprouts which were amazing! They also have a happy hour menu with $5 bites which are substantial in size. Their manager Chris is also very much well versed in beer, and makes great suggestions when you want to try something new and different. Service was excellent; sampling of different brews, and background info on beers. If you're feeling bold try the pineapple and jalapeño infused tequila! It was GOOD! There are also games to play while you get boozy. Vibes are chill and make for an enjoyable time! I highly recommend!

All these people reporting having problems getting cocktails...this is a beer place, just order beer....

Decided to go to this place because it was all over Instagram. They have multiple locations but I decided to check out the one in the Bronx. Firstly they do not offer everything from the menu at this location. Options are very limited. They do not do any of the cocktails from there menu. I started off with the wings and I do not recommend. The texture was too soft, they needed some crisp to them. Taste like they just came out of the freezer. My boyfriend and I wanted to order the hashtag burger but again they didn't have it at this site. Not to crazy about the burgers either, just regular. The fries also seemed that they needed to be cooked some more as well. We did order a tequila sunrise and Tito's/pineapple, which was the best part of our meal. I wouldn't recommend this location, maybe our experience in another location would be better considering they would offer everything from the menu

This was not my favorite location, but their burgers and doughnut holes were just how I remembered them... delicious! This space was too small and cramped compared to the Clinton Hall downtown though. I felt trapped inside. Aside from that, the burgers were perfectly cooked (more fries on the side wouldn't hurt - maybe make a small mound, so the dish looks appetizing). All in all, our waiter was attentive and food was good, but I'd stick to the downtown location.

The beer menu at Clinton Hall was awesome. The place had oversized board games like Connect Four and Jenga, very long banquet tables for larger groups, and the onion rings were SO good. The burger I had was ok but my overall experience was good. The outside of the building is a beautiful multi color mural accented by lighting effects at night. I love being a Yelper because without this app I never would have found this place being from out of town. I really wish I had got the Donut Grilled Cheese!

I'm totally confused as to why this place has 4 stars. The service is a total shit show. So I went there one day with my cousins. We waiting about 30 minutes before anyone bothered to greet us. Mind you the place was empty. When the server finally came he seemed like us being there was an annoyance for him. He also seemed annoyed that we already knew everything we wanted. Like what the fuck, you had us sitting long as hell. Of course we know what we want by now. He brings the food. It's good but the portions aren't worth the price. He never returns to us. So little things that we wanted or needed were overlooked. My cousins and I are great tippers but we had no desire to leave this guy a tip! It comes time for us to pay. We had 3 cards My Oldest cousin was picking up the bulk of the bill. I was taking the next bulk and my other cousin was only putting like $12 on her card because she didn't have her other card with her and that's all she had on that card. We wrote on a paper what amount was going on each card and explained it to the server. He said okay with an attitude and walked away. He charges the cards and comes back and gives us the receipts to sign and says "I charged I evenly. My bad" and proceeds to walk away. At this point I was over it and went OFF. Like how do you just be so curt about how you handled our fucking money after we gave you explicit details on what the fuck to do!?! He proceeds to say, "Well there's nothing I can do" and walks away. I assure you I wanted to pick up a chair and crack him in his head with it. Smh. We ended up arguing with the "Manager" who claimed the transaction was canceled and we left. To our dismay all of our cards were charged and we had to fight with our banks for the money back because we paid the bill in cash and left. I tried this shitty place again with my coworkers as I work near by and it was a shit show of service again. Not to mention the staff is nasty. The surfer was scratching his head while making my drink and used the hand he scratched with to put my lemons in my drink. Not to mention I asked if I can get hot water and I was told they can't do that. Like, you cook food. How the fuck don't you have hot water? I will NEVER go here again and I will he going out of my way to make sure no one I know goes here as well. What saves this place is the college students who have no idea what customer service is supposed to be like!

Great place to hang out with friends! My friends and I come every Tuesday for trivia night and we love it. Special shoutout to Gerardo-- always great service and overall an awesome guy!

This spot will always be a go to when in Little Italy‼ Harry is super knowledgeable about the beer and will always recommend a great option based upon the type of beer you're into. The food never fails either‼ I loveeeeee this place‼

My bf and I were visiting ny and had just visiting the Bronx zoo and had time to kill before catching a Yankee game. Found this place on Yelp and it did not disappoint! Super nice and friendly staff, delicious food and great selection of beers. We were undecided on what we wanted and they gave us some tastings. Would definitely recommend and would go again next visit too!

A little on the pricey side but it stands out from the crowd among the other Fordham bars thanks to the great burgers, beer selection, and of course the board games. Yes it's shamelessly catering to the Fordham student crowd but what're you gonna do? Order the burger with a fried egg on top, get some Parmesan fries on the side, and enjoy a game of Jenga or two.
