"What It Is: A beer garden at the base of a new hotel in Williamsburg Perfect For: Outdoor/Patio Situation, Sports! We like the original FiDi location of Clinton Hall, an indoor/outdoor beer garden with sports on TV, so we checked out the newest location at the base of the Pod Hotel in Williamsburg. Even though it has the same long list of draft beer, multiple screens showing sports, and solid bar food, this one feels more like a Buffalo Wild Wings. The bright space has tables that look like they were just unboxed from Ikea, and an outdoor area that feels like the courtyard of an office building. The Verdict: There are plenty of better places in Williamsburg to drink interesting beers and watch sports." - hannah albertine, bryan kim, katherine lewin, hillary reinsberg, chris stang, matt tervooren

"You asked one person at your desk to skip out early and grab a drink, but Cheryl overheard you and invited the whole floor, and now you need a place for 35 people in FiDi. Clinton Hall is your move. In the middle of office buildings and bodegas that close at 7pm, Clinton Hall is a huge indoor/outdoor beer garden with picnic tables and a lot of beers on tap. You can try any of the 13 different types of burgers while Cheryl tries to recruit people to play Jenga." - Matt Tervooren

We stopped by Clinton Hall this weekend for brunch and got their bottomless brunch special - $19.99 with purchase of an entree. Loved the pancakes, French toast sticks & eggs Benedict. They also have an amazing waffle cake tower that's perfect for birthdays. They also have shelves of board games to choose. They have 4 locations so we plan on checking out the other 3 soon.

Held a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend and it came out amazing. We had the top lounge all to ourselves. We were able to come earlier to set up decorations. The waiter Henry was super nice and kept coming up to make sure we had water and picked up our food when we were done. The manager Josh allowed us to leave the cake in the fridge and Henry brought up the cake lit up with candles placed by them (we brought the candles) to sing Happy Birthday. Everyone was able to order their own food and get their own bill. You get an order # and they bring up the food. Also it didn’t give me the option but the chicken sandwich was soooo good and the fries were to die for! My brother said the chicken tenders pulled apart so easily, it was delicious! The bartender recommended a frozen drink that was blue and said it was a refreshing drink and omg it was so good. You didn’t even taste the alcohol (it’s one of those tricky drinks 😅) The whole staff was super friendly. Shout out to Josh who played bachata and salsa music in the end! They also had a variety of games!

Came here for a Knicks watch party event with 3 of my boys. We got tickets for this specific event and I presented the tickets when they asked if we had a reservation. The host rolls her eyes and said the tickets were not a reservation so we have to get a table….okay cool I wasn’t entitled or rude I addressed her properly idk why she had an attitude. We sit down at a table and after ordering 1 drink each some wings and burgers we were asked to open a tab…at a TABLE not the bar. The waitress said this is standard and I asked two tables next to us. They both said they didn’t open a tab and that she was full of crap. My friend asked the waitress if the wings are breaded or not…he was going to eat the wings anyway he was just curious. She grabs the host to help answer the question…the host walks over and says “do you have a food allergy or something? Why are you asking if the wings are breaded?” RELAX it was just a question. They like to profile and discriminate here. Saw a group of 4 young black men walk in and already started the bs. We’re all educated and employed and none of us wanted to be there after the experience we had. The Bronx location is way better.

The ONLY place to watch sports in the city. The food is 20/10, service 10/10 and atmosphere is 30/10.

“I had an outstanding experience with Jefferson! From start to finish, he treated me with an exceptional level of customer service. He was professional, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure all my needs were met. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to ensuring a top-notch customer experience. If you’re planning to visit, I highly recommend asking for Jefferson—you won’t be disappointed!”

Went with a large work group and we ordered a large amount of appetizers so we could all share. The house cider was really good, and the food had us all eating till we couldn't move. The chicken wings were the crispiest I've ever had, and there wasn't a thing we didn't like. Atmosphere and staff were both great as well, just a good spot to have fun with friends.

Review Update Dec 2023: I went back here with a couple of friends and it's definitely gone down hill. (ha.) The burgers no longer include fries!! DEVASTATING. You now need to pay an additional $7 for fries by ordering them separately. In my older photos for this place, you can see every burger had a thing of fries. They charged us $2 for a drink on the rocks. Really? $2 for an ice cube? We also ordered (2) beers and later ordered another round of the same beers (another 2) but they rang up the second amount of beers at a higher price. Used to like coming here with friends to hang out, eat and play games but not sure we'll be coming back anytime soon. ------------------ I love this place. As someone who doesn’t drink too often, they’ve got a great selection of drinks, the food is super good, and they’ve got tons of games to keep everyone entertained. The atmosphere is very chill, spacious and welcoming. Definitely my go-to spot!

Yelp
I had a birthday celebration here and the service the attention to detail hands down was everything I wanted and more ! The staff here were friendly attentive and flexible ! Would totally do this again and again

Yelp
I hosted my birthday party for about 20 people at Clinton Hall 36th St this past weekend and had a wonderful experience! Reeves and Tara helped me arrange the event about a month in advance and were very communicative, helpful, and accommodating to all of my requests which were all executed excellently on the day. On site on the day, Michael welcomed us and was very helpful and attentive to our group. The hostesses, waiters (special shoutout to Mo!), and bartenders were also friendly with great service especially given that it was a very busy sports weekend with the NFL playoffs! My group was very well taken care of and I appreciate the wonderful service so much! They had many NFL drink and food specials that day which were very enjoyable and helpful for my group. I ordered a party platter that included sliders, nachos, and wings - all of which were delicious! Overall, I had such a positive experience and I would highly recommend Clinton Hall for your next event! Tara also helped a friend of mine plan a larger event at another Clinton Hall location (51st St) which was also a great success. Thank you so much to the Clinton Hall team for your attentiveness, great service, great food & drinks for what will be a memorable celebration for years to come! Will definitely be back!

Yelp
Came here for the first time 2 years ago and had the absolute best fondue burger, we just had to come back for it. The result was extremely disappointing by the comparison. First photo was 2025, second was 2023. Easy to see how much smaller the burger is and how little fondue you receive. This visit completely destroyed the fantastic experience we were once given. I understand the impact of inflation and whatnot, but at the very least they should charge more for the burger to have the same amazing experience it once gave.

Yelp
Loved this place. The bar food was pretty much expected but I did love the pretzel and mustard. I could've eaten a million of them. I loved the music, the vibe, and the games. There's literally a game for almost anything. I also loved the upstairs area-- it was lowkey for those who didn't want to be downstairs in the spotlight. All and all, a great cute board game bar.

Justin T.

Yelp
Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon w friends; I had the double smashed burger, one friend had the classic burger and another had the crunchy Caesar salad with chicken, and we shared a side of fries. Excellent food- no complaints! Decent selection of beers on draft- they've got something for everyone! We played a couple of rounds of Jenga while catching up on life. Large space with variable seating options, it wasn't too busy for the 4-5 hrs we were there, I can imagine it getting packed when certain sports games are showing. Staff were attentive. It's a nice place to hang with friends for a few hours, but I imagine it might be harder to hear yourself or others during busier times.

Destini S.

Yelp
We wandered in to watch the US women's national soccer game while visiting town. There were I my 4 other people there when we entered. We sat at the bar. The staff was welcoming and friendly. They let me try a few beers before I decided on the one for me. They had a lot of different games in the restaurant/ bar you could play and multiple TVs so it was perfect for what we were looking for. We had the donut grilled cheese and soup and the burger. Both were delicious.

Yelp
Great service. The craft beer selection is perfect and the appetizers are fantastic. The environment is perfect for any sports fan especially the Knicks.

Yelp
One of my fav bars in midtown! Love the space, games, and their buffalo cauliflower is amazing. Also enjoy their tap options esp their hefeweizen and liked some of their specialty beers through flights.

Yelp
This place is going on my must do in NYC list! Good food(highly recommend the Doughnut Grilled Cheese) and a fun ambiance. Play some games with some friends. This place just feels happy. And of coarse the drinks are solid too. I'm already planning on returning to try the Birthday Cake WTF Waffle. I need to bring reinforcements.

Yelp
This place is so spacious, great for team building activities since they are loaded with games. From board games, foosball, skee ball to darts, and vintage arcade games, you're sure to have a great time. The music took me down memory lane with all the throwbacks. I also loved that they had a photo booth. The staff were friendly, food was tasty and the portions were generous. I would absolutely come back with a larger crowd. This is def a great place to also watch the game while indulging in their large selection of beer.

Yelp
My wifey and I have been to a few other Clinton Hall's, and once again, they didn't disappoint at this location! Loved the ambiance, which has their familiar family-friendly gaming feel. The staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. Their brunch items were delicious! My wife chose the best menu item over all IMO: Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich. I had their staple Double Smashed Burger which was cooked to my liking, and delectable! Their tots and fries were crisped and seasoned just right! What I also really enjoyed about this location is that it wasn't as loud and busy as some of their other locations; which isn't bad, it was just that this place had a calm, low-noise level ambiance to it, for a relaxed meal that we were in the mood for! I totally recommend Clinton Hall! We'll be back when in the area!

Yelp
I've come to Clinton Hall 3 times now, and I think it's great for a work happy hour, and others clearly agree. After 5:30pm, the place is regularly packed with finance and tech bros dressed in corporate attire. Somehow, I've still never had to wait too long to get in! They have a large selection (20+) of craft beers, and provide a brief description of each one to help you decide. There's also a small cocktail menu. Drinks are reasonably priced, food is standard bar food, and there's lots of games and activities around the large space. Overall, it can get kind of loud, but it's definitely an active space, great for a casual time. Their nachos and pizza are solid vegetarian options as well!

Yelp
Stopped by on a Tuesday night for an event my friend was hoping and walked into a chill crowd in an easy to find location! Bartenders here are friendly, conversational, great service and best of all, there are so many board games available in the back that you never have to buy another board game again! Was able to grab jenga (colourful), connect 4, Never Have I Ever (for the nights you want to get to know your friends on another level) and Cards Against Humanity. Super surprised to find that there were no pieces missing and was able to have a casual game over some drinks. Definitely a place I would revisit again - and even go out of my way for even if I'm avenues away! Sure don't say this often but this is definitely one of them.

Yelp
I love the openness of this place. They had numerous games available to play. There were 2 skeeball machines in the back corner. There is an extensive drink menu and they had a lot of variety. They had Downeast cider which is my favorite. The pretzel was huge and salty enough. Our server was great and didn't hover much.

Quoc L.

Yelp
Clinton Hall quickly became my place of choice to have semi-reunions with my old software engineering cohort. It's big enough to accommodate a big group short notice and they're just chill about it. The food's mid but it's great enough for a big group with varying palettes. They also have a generous assortment of games to play and is very accessible in Manhattan, since all of us live in varying corners of NYC. I've also come here with smaller crowds and it's fun to sit there with your friends and passively play games, while getting a slight drink on. And there are plenty of rotating craft beers for adventurous drinkers.

Cameron B.

Yelp
Came by Clinton Hall with friends for the Ravens game and had a great time. Got a seat at the bar right in front of the tv so it was great. I'll have to come by again to try the food. Loud music in the background during the game. I would have preferred to hear the game itself but this wouldn't stop me from coming back. Fun Bar!

Dani W.

Yelp
It was packed but we got immediately seated. Staff was awesome. Not robot service or greeting like most restaurants. Food was okay drinks were great. Other guests........ There was a table next to us a bit Much. But it a bar on weekends.... Anyways host David Definitely check out Slate for NYE before returning home. much love thank you.

Yelp
I've been to Clinton Hall before but never this specific location. Always a fan because they usually have an enormous beer menu with a selection of beers I've never even heard of before (that's a tough mission to accomplish). So I was eager to check this out with my friend and a small gathering of folks she knew. I ended up having a great stout and a creamy sour from Watercolors that was strawberry, cherry, tangerine, pomegranate gingerbread marshmallow flavored. Wrap your head around that one. It was amazing. I'm craving this like a month later. We had a few appetizers of sliders, a variety of fries (waffle fries in this case are superior), and nachos. And to top it off it was someone's birthday so there was wait for it - Milk bar freaking birthday cake. I think the birthday cakes are a limited time option that the bar/restaurant have available. So get on it. Everything was delicious. We were well taken care of and our server was awesome. Wish I remembered his name but he really made the evening fantastic. There are also board games in the back so it's a fun place to come with a group.

Yelp
Clinton hall is all over and this is one of the many I've been to from the city to Brooklyn. Decided to grab a bite with mom as it was close by and has simple items that my mom would enjoy. This place is known for beer drinks and playing games with friends. My mom thought it was cute and enjoyed her food of wings as she hasn't been out in awhile. It was pretty chill on a Friday late afternoon. We were served Timothy but our waiter disappeared and we had to flag someone else for napkins and utensils. Ther serving size was great and drinks did justice. I've also been here in a pulsed brunch deal which was great and worth it with unlimited drinks. Definitely a quick pace to come to and bit on the pricey side but portions and locations makes sense.

Karen J.

Yelp
Great experience, love the theme with the games it honestly made me forgot about all my problems in that moment felt so care free. Me and my friend had a great time. The food was amazing I had the breakfast platter so delicious and the unlimited drinks were on point!

Lorraine B.

Yelp
I hosted a team event we had so much fun an this is my 2nd time here. Thanks to Tara who booked it Josh and Michael who managed it a Daniel our waiter. Highly recommend it - food was great also!

Denise P.

Yelp
Came Saturday night and the short host is beyond rude. The eye-roll along with the passive aggression is baffling. Someone who smells like armpit should not have so much attitude. Our server was great but the tenders had no flavor whatsoever so ever. The host makes the customer feel like a burden to be there. I can't believe this host still works there. When I came here the first two times she was extremely rude and I decided to give it a third try and again she was extremely rude and disrespectful.

JiHae L.

Yelp
This is my second check-in to this place, and I've gone to their other location as well. All of their locations are similar in that they have the same type of layout and seating, drink selections, board games, and food. I came here for a work outing/ social event. It's good for that kind of event as it breaks the ice. There's Jenga, connect four and other games. I haven't really stayed here that late before, so I'm not sure how it is later on. But the vibe isn't bad during the day.

Novella N.

Yelp
If you need a beer hall for a get together or a work event, this is the spot. Came here for the latter and it was a really fun time! The beer and other drinks are flowing and games are available to play. Jenga and barrel of monkeys were my coworkers choice of games. Very spacious, but it does get crowded especially for a Thursday after work crowd. Close enough to Grand Central if you're a commuter!

Jordan C.

Yelp
We saw this place online. I've now been there 4 times and each time is better than the last. Staff is so so friendly. The managers are so kind and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious. And that "challenge burger" is MASSIVE!!! The place has a fun, inviting atmosphere. I love it!!

Tim H.

Yelp
We went for brunch before seeing a play and had a fantastic time. We had the bottomless mimosas and the food was terrific. We will definitely be back.

ElBachir C.

Yelp
I came here for the Superbowl and enjoyed my time with my friends, although the sound was a little bit low the ambiance was great, as they had some games to keep everyone entertained. The food was good, I got the double smashed and it was delicious, the fries' basket was a big one and the way I like it.

Nina D.

Yelp
Super fun bar atmosphere with lots of games for a fun night! I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the bar. It's very lively but also not too loud where you're screaming over each other. The food menu is a lot of bar bites (burgers, wings, etc.) and perfect comfort food with a cold drink. However, the food does get quite oily and greasy. The staff is also very friendly and proactive in checking in on us if we needed anything.

Linda T.

Yelp
Been here a few times and every time has been a pleasant experience. It's a comfortable place to chill with friends and have some snacks or some drinks. It's not too loud or too dark, where you can't see or hear your pals. Service is attentive. Lots of games (cards, candy land, connect 4, Jenga, etc) to play, but play the arcade games in the back at your own risk since they're run by a third party and if the game eats your money, they tell you to call the number there or they offer you a drink/shots to make up for it.

Ebony R.

Yelp
Clinton Hall has the rudest host I ever seen. I planned a work event at Clinton Hall on 8/8 at 6pm. I was the second of the the 10 people to show up and the host told me to go to the bar. My coworker mentioned that the host rudely told her that she would need the full party to arrive before we were able to be seated. I went to the host and asked her if it was okay if we can be seated, if half shows up. She yelled and told me that she told my friend no - fine, we stayed at the bar. As people started to trickle in, I went back to the host to her know we have 5 people (and that its raining, and people are running late). She rolled her eyes and took us to the tables on the second floor. We waited 20 minutes, and notice that we were not assigned a waitress, so I went downstairs to ask for service. She yelled and told me that she already told us we would not get waitress staff (which is not true - I would have remembered that!). So we had our party go downstairs to grab drinks and food. We did ask the bartender, if they could at least provide us water at our table and we didn't event get that. Our team was willing to spend more money, but with the nasty attitudes we decided to leave. As we left, we definitely saw the host roll her eyes (it became comical at this point). We were very nice to her, not sure why she was rude. She really took the joy from our corporate event and it sucks.

Macy L.

Yelp
Hosted a full buyout event for a corporate holiday party. The manager Mike was single handedly the rudest, most unprofessional venue manager I have ever dealt with. He was combative, straight up disrespectful and inappropriate. I was appalled at how he would treat a customer. I have informed all of my colleagues as well as members in my industry to steer clear of this venue. I will be notifying all event booking platforms as well to make sure they warn any partners of the tasteless way this venue is run.

Meng Z.

Yelp
Great beer hall spot to hit up with a group of friends! I came here with a group of about 7 people and the space is just great for a group since they have those long bench seatings that can fit many people. The beer and drinks selection is great. I loved the sour beer that I got. I also really like how they have different games like Jenga and UNO available that you can play with friends. Although the drinks were great, I probably wouldn't get the food. I got the chicken souvlaki and I didn't not like it at all since the dish was kind of cold when it arrived and generally lacked in flavor.

Rohan B.

Yelp
A fun bar with a large assortment of food, drinks, and games. Definitely a good place to go hang out.

Kathy X.

Yelp
I came here to meet with up with a group to celebrate one of my friends' birthday. The place was spacious and comfortable, with all sorts of games, such as Jenga, Connect 4, Uno, Foosball, and a cool lit up life size Chess board. There was also a pretty varied menu, and we ended up having the fried calamari and chicken nachos to share. The fried calamari was unique and slightly elevated, as it contained bonita flakes, black and white sesame seeds, crunchy jalapeños, along with yuzu aioli. I stayed away from the jalapeños because I have low tolerance to spicy foods. The calamari itself were shaped in little rings, which were perfectly crispy and very tasty. The nachos were loaded with melted queso, cherry peppers, pico de gallo, sour cream, and guacamole. There was an ample amount of tender, well seasoned grilled chicken distributed throughout. All the ingredients worked together to create mouthwatering bites. For my main course, I ordered the Bacon Bacon Bacon Burger, which was served with fries. The burger was on the smaller side, but expertly cooked and still satisfyingly filling. The burger came with half bacon and half beef patty, candied Nueske's bacon, and finally, tomato bacon jam. In addition to all that, there was delightfully melty Gouda cheese and watercress. The star of the meal was that candied bacon... Wonderfully crunchy, just the right amount of sweetness, and an explosion of flavor. The meat was also amazingly succulent and juicy, while the bacon jam tied everything up nicely. There were plenty of yummy skinny fries, which were kind of addicting. Of course, we wanted to get the extravagant Birthday Cake Waffle dessert, which was supposed to be $25. We were informed it would take awhile to create, and later were told due to demand, they wouldn't be able to make it for us, so the manager let us choose another dessert at no charge. Imagine our surprise when we were indeed served the Birthday Cake Waffle with a lit up sparkler, consisting of Fruit Loops waffles, topped with a slice of rainbow cake / lollipops and Fruit Loops ice cream with an ube cone. As a base and in between the waffles was frosting overflowing with Lucky Charms marshmallows, edible confetti, as well as Fruit Loops. This was quite an impressive and colorful display. I enjoyed the rainbow cake, which was moist with deliciously creamy smooth white frosting. The Fruit Loops ice cream was also good - Milky and incredibly sweet in a good way. The Fruit Loops waffles were decent, but didn't taste that strongly of the cereal. The rest of it was overly sweet. The staff also brought out 2 additional desserts: Churro Ice Cream Sundae and a trio of Ice Cream Sandwiches. The Churro Sundae came with horchata ice cream, which was a lovely blend of milk with cinnamon. The churros were also pretty good and still warm, with a generous dusting of cinnamony sugar. I wasn't that impressed with the ice cream sandwiches though. The cookies were kind of dry and bland, while the ice cream inside tasted plain. Service was excellent throughout. The staff were friendly, patient, and on top of everything - even the confusion with the dessert, was resolved with grace. Overall, we had a fun night out and it is a fantastic place to bring a group, small or large. I would definitely be happy to return!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
Extensive beer selection and friendly service. Many games are available; the large televisions have multiple sporting events televised and Jenga, Connect Four and Rubric's Cube are on the tables. There are a multitude of other games choices, too!

Carissa C.

Yelp
Very fun atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and welcoming here. Had a special Bronx Clinton hall beer that is only served here. Highly recommend. Very smooth light IPA. The truffle burger is a must get !!! The donut grilled cheese was more hyped up but wanted to try. There are board games you can play at every table. I went on a Saturday so there was a Dj playing loud music ( if that's not your thing) but he was playing millennial throwback jams so it was throughly enjoyed by me :)

Latosha B.

Yelp
The hostess for the 3:30 game on Saturday, November 30 was very rude when she sat us down. I thought my alumni code was a reservation code and she brushed it off saying that's not a reservation code, but in a very rude way. Then she took us to our table. We asked if we could sit closer and she said there's tvs all over. That was also said in a very rude way. I wasn't trying to get something for nothing, and I hope that's not the impression I left with her, but the impression she left with me was not a very good one. She also waved us off, like we didn't matter. I thought that was really a shame.

Maggie B.

Yelp
This is a large, fun bar that's great for groups or dates. They have tons of tables with games like connect four and jenga. Servers are friendly. I came recently for a private event and the staff were great. I loved their buffalo cauliflower wings which were tangy and flavorful. Their pizza was also pretty good, with thin buttery crust.

Lex B.

Yelp
Was there with a group for brunch on 12/24, with Plusd voucher, for such a huge space it was quite, our group was the first to be there , later when we were leaving I noticed few people there . The food is ok nothing the rave about , the portion is large , the service is ok , Daniel out server done a good job . The Bellini and Mimosas were terrible drinks , doesn't taste right , not sure what was the concoction it made of , the color looks faded , my self and the group, all got sick , bowel movements, puke , burning sensation in the stomach. I suppose if we were to ended up At the hospital, this place would have to give account what was in the drinks . Wouldn't be going back here

Jordan C.

Yelp
This place has been in my bucket list for a while now, so I decided to take the drive to the city with one of my good friends. The whole place was fun, board games jenga, chess all while you wait for your food! I ordered an old fashioned and she had captain and coke, delicious and strong. We shared the grilled cheese doughnut which was basically our reason for going lol and we were NOT disappointed. Also shared the nachos and added chicken I wish that they had more cheese a little dry but otherwise good .

Mel T.

Yelp
We chose Clinton Hall for Secret Santa because we were looking for a place with boozy brunch, this location had pretty good reviews, it was a central meeting point, and there was also a Pulsd deal. Only 2/4 of us decided to get the Pulsd deal ($49 for two entrees and unlimited mimosas/bellinis), so it was nice that they let half the table use the deal, but you could also combine vouchers if you like. We came in right before 12 since they don't accept brunch reservations and they weren't quite open yet. We also wanted to go early to avoid waiting and any crowds, especially because of Covid/Omicron, and we felt pretty safe, as it was really spacious. It did start getting more packed maybe half hour - hour before we left, but we were still far enough away from other tables. For starters, we decided to get an app to share. We had the nachos and added beef to it. This was pretty lackluster. Everything was just kind of haphazardly thrown on there. All the melted cheese was on the bottom of the nachos (who does that?). The beef was also dry. There was also a sad little looking random scoop of guac. For my main, I had the Fondue Burger, which is a burger on a pretzel bun, with a hole in the middle, and there are fries in that hole, but also an extra side of fries, and a little pot of fondue cheese on the side. If that sounded confusing, that's because it was. Perfect for IG, but not if you want a good burger. The only thing good about this was the pot of cheese and the pickle. It has potential but it just wasn't executed correctly. The patty was a bit dry (even though I asked for medium rare), and the fries were soggy, which I was so disappointed in because I LOVE me some cheese fries. Also, as I'm writing this review, I'm wondering what they do with the middle part of the burger. My friend had the Doughnut Grilled Cheese, which comes on a hook over a cup of tomato soup. I tried a bite and it was actually not bad but I cannot imagine eating the hole thing as an entree - maybe to share? She agreed and couldn't finish it. Overall, it seems that the food is gimmicky and IG worthy, but doesn't actually taste that great. Another friend ordered the philly cheesesteak, but it wasn't until they started bringing out the rest of our entrees did they tell her it was unavailable. Drinks were standard brunch drinks - pretty sweet, but just a nice addition to the meal, especially if you're with a group. I did like that they had games and they didn't hold us to the time limit of the boozy brunch Pulsd deal (even though we stopped drinking within the "allotted time"), but they still let us hang out and play games. They have various board games and Jenga just happened to be at our table. I probably wouldn't come back for actual entrees but I wouldn't mind trying again for games, drinks, and bar food.

Yelp
Ended up here spontaneously with my partner after an impromptu trip to the city. We enjoyed every second of it, the staff was extremely friendly and we kept ourselves with the many games the place has ranging from jenga, connect four, mortal kombat, card games, and board games. I don't think we've enjoyed ourselves like that in quite a while that it was nice to disconnect from our phones and be in the present. We enjoyed the in house DJ who was playing tons of throwbacks and the food was delicious !

Yelp
So let's start with the good. The mozzarella sticks were good, pretzel and the cauliflower was also very good. The bartender Ruben was amazing he is actually the reason why the rating is not lower. The games are all accessible which i think is great. It was a good time; they do not rush you. We also had the spinach spring roll that was very good; I liked that a lot. We also had the tostones which were ok; they were a little cold. Now the reason why I took off two stars. So I do understand it is a pandemic and things are limited. I wanted the cheeseburger empanadas but they were unavailable. Then I wanted to get the waffle ice cream for my brother's birthday celebration. The waffle cake looks delicious and very festive. They did not have those items. The drinks were not very good. They were not horrible but I would their drinks were regular unmemorable. I would say the Bartender was very nice and asked me if I liked the drink or not. I think the drinks were ok. I like drinks to have fresh made juices, syrups and specialty cocktails. Now the real reason why they get 4 stars. I was thirsty and wanted more water. We did pay the bill and I asked someone to get me a glass. The employee got me a glass but it appeared dirty. I told him no; I do not want that glass. He told me the glass is not dirty it just appears that way. The glass had scratches in the middle and did appear unclean. I told him he said no it is fine. Then I said no thank you and he took the glass back. He did not return with another glass nor anything else. I had to get up walk to the bar and ask for a glass. I did ask to speak to the manager but they were gone for the day. Would I come back ? Not sure to be honest I enjoy the adult game bars and Ruben at the bar was amazing. But I am not sure. I would also say they should have a drink menu. I like it when there are signature drinks. Maybe if I know they have everything stocked and a signature drink menu. I would also say the bartender was very nice and gave us free shots I think for the hassle of the glass incident.

Yelp
I had to pop out and see what this grilled cheese donut was about and I'm mad that I did because I already want another one :( It was soooo good! I've been meaning to come here for awhile and then covid happened, but I said soon as the world opened back up, I would check it off my list, and I did! Clinton Hall is a vibe and definitely a place you want to come with friends for all of the games they offer like jenga, connect 4, ping pong...etc They have a big bar area with multiple TV screens, bench seating for big parties, and take reservations if you want to guarantee a table. The food, music, & drinks are a VIBE! Stop by and thank me later!!! IG:@Soooomuchfun

Yelp
Food came out fast and the chicken tenders were juicy. The pretzel was soft and the 2 stouts I had were good.

Yelp
Food (3/5): Had the nachos and Reuben Egg rolls. The Reuben Egg rolls were great and delicious with a nice crunch. The nachos had a lot of chips but very sparse toppings and meat. They could definitely improve and layer the toppings. Venue (5/5): The venue is actually amazing. They have spacious seating, nice Biergarten vibes with plenty of board games and foosball, and live DJ music. The only gripe would be that the music was way too loud for a Biergarten but overall still a great venue. Service (1/5): The amount of challenges our group received from a particular host at the front was unreal. First) I arrived with just my girlfriend 40 minutes before a birthday event at the place and we wanted to sit down and eat first for two. When we first got seated she told us that we couldn't sit at the larger tables because we needed 6 people from the party. Ok, so we moved to a two person table so we could get served. Surprisingly the host came back again to say that we can't sit at the two person table and needed us to stand around the bar. This was really annoying because the place was mostly empty except for the bar area which all the seating was taken. My girlfriend was really tired from work and wanted to sit and eat. So we had to ask for the manager who eventually agreed to the reasonable ask that we can sit for a table for two in the mostly empty hall and eat. Second) When six people finally came from the party, they suddenly changed the number and wouldn't let us sit at the larger table because not all 10 people were present. This didn't even make sense because there was another group with 5 people sitting at a big table. So once again we had to discuss with the manager before we could get seated. Third) This was for a birthday so we wanted to surprise my friend with a cake. The same host would not let us bring it in unless we paid a $25 fee. Fourth) My friend put down a card at the bar to open a tab and the waiter aggressively argued with him that he needs to close that out and open up a new tab for the table even though some people from our group was still waiting for their drinks from the first tab. He then asked for a separate credit to be put on hold for the table than the tab at the bar. Super amazing that this many incidents could've occurred to different parts of the group and each time the host/server handled the situation in a very rude manner. The only saving grace was that the manager was reasonable and actually sensible. Really a shame because besides the terrible service, the venue and food are actually quite cool.

Yelp
Such a cool spot to have a drink and hang out. It was only a block away from where we stood at. I will definitely go back.

Yelp
This is a good place to grab beers before dinner nearby or just to catch up with friends. They have 20 beers on tap and 15+ cans / bottles. The draft beers are pricey about $13-$14 for a 12 oz pour. They update their drafts menu daily. They also have cocktails and wine. I haven't had the food but they have your typical bar food (wings, burgers). It is a well laid out space with bar seating, and upstairs, long tables and regular tables. They also have tons of fun games you can play. The music is a little loud but it's a fun playlist. The service is very attentive and when I asked for a specific football game they immediately put it on. I will continue to keep coming back here.
