The Strip’s Most Star-Studded Food Hall Just Opened at the Venetian Resort | Eater Vegas

"A new cocktail concept from the team behind Death & Co that debuted in Nashville and brings the same high-caliber cocktails in a more relaxed, neighborhood-style setting to Las Vegas as the group’s first local venture." - Janna Karel

Nashville’s New Restaurant Openings - Nashville - The Infatuation

"NYC’s Death & Co has spawned a new bar called Close Company. It’s Germantown’s Neuhoff District, and you’ll find modern twists on classic drinks, batched and chilled freezer cocktails, and a small array of bar snacks like “pastry pockets,” which look eerily similar to Hot Pockets." - jackie gutierrez jones 2

Google
What an amazing little spot! We went there on a Wednesday night not expercing it to be busy, but it was! Plenty of people, great conversations, and even better drinks. I was very impressed by how professional the bartenders were, and how delicious (and cheap) the drinks were. I did not get any food but everything that I saw smelled and looked amazing. The layout of the place is great, open, attractive bar, and a really neat set down area. I have recommended this place to a few friends as well, and they have all loved it! Will be back soon

We were excited to see Death & Co opening a bar in Nashville! I think they’ve perfectly executed a much more casual and low-brow atmosphere than their previous bars while still holding on to quality cocktails and intentionality. There’s a lot of space for sitting or standing so I think this will be a nice spot for small and larger groups to meet up. If you aren’t within walking distance, you can park in the parking deck for $6 for up to 2 hours. The bartender told us that they might validate that parking in the future!

Google
Great hot pockets, drinks were creative and delicious. Really the only two gripes were the prices of the drinks (all $14-$16) and then the DJ. The music is too loud for what this place is trying to be. Love a good club atmosphere but this was to the point you couldn’t stand next to someone and talk in certain places of the bar.

Google
Super cool new cocktail spot for Nashville. The drinks were delicious and creative, & In my opinion, made with quality ingredients. Great energy in the room, fun music and quite a vibe. I’ve been back three times since they first opened back in May! Definitely on my list to try. Also, a manager, I think she said her name was Kala, popped by to check on us and was incredibly gracious and genuinely seemed interested if we were enjoying ourselves. Five stars in my opinion!

Google
Such a cool venue for a bar — I was really into the unique underground space and the historic site. It was a bit tough to find, which actually fed into how interesting the space was. The bartenders were super professional and capable, so the crowd wasn’t a huge issue while trying to get service. There was a DJ but the volume was manageable and I didn’t have trouble hearing conversation.

Google
Fantastic new bar in Germantown. Surprisingly reasonably priced cocktails, excellently executed. Incredible vibe. Lots of nooks for small groups. The CC Old Fashioned was a fave!

Google
Beautiful new bar! Very unique cocktails on menu that me and my friends were excited to try. The adventure gimlet was delicious! The vibe was sultry and fun and the bartenders told us the history of the building itself, which is fascinating. Brandon C was our bartender for most of the night and he was amazing! Attentive and knowledgeable. I’ve brought multiple friends here now to share the positive experience and to try more of their delicious drinks.

Google
No joke. It will sound like I'm exaggerating... but I guarantee you will not find a better combination of food, nice/wonderful service staff, and atmosphere in Nashville. Reserving "the pit" (I don't know what they actually call it) is smartest/funnest idea. This is an area where they rehabilitated and is extra area steps below the rest of this great place already "basement" mixologist place. They have games, music, & fun. I've tried every gourmet cocktail establishment in Nashville. This one makes the best ones, period. But maybe it is a touch better because of these other "extras".

Yelp
This might be the coolest bar in all of Nashville. The bartenders are super friendly, and the vibes are immaculate. The drinks are tasty, and the snacks HIT.

Yelp
Definitely one of the more unique atmospheres in Nashville. The location has an underground speakeasy vibe, but it is very spacious and has a variety of areas to hang out and enjoy the wonderful food and drinks. The bartenders and bar manager are very professional and have an immense knowledge on mixology. You can tell they take pride in their craft!

Yelp
I have been holding off writing this review until I gave Close Company another chance. The first time we went, it was packed. The vibes were great. We ended up just getting beers and hanging out. At one point we decided to dance (theres a DJ and small open area in front). We were told to stop dancing by the bouncer at the door closest. We stopped and he threw attitude "Do you understand what I am saying". We said yes sir and decided to leave. Upon leaving we looked around and there were multiple people dancing. The second time we went, it was less packed which was nice because you could see the beautiful architecture. I ordered their super martini. I love ford's gin, I love martinis, and anything savory. This was not drinkable. It came from a pre-made batch cocktail. I feel this three ingredient drink could have been made to order. I gave my cocktail away and didnt order another. My friends got the adventure gimlet. This was a very crisp cocktail. I thought it was unique and much better than my drink. I am unsure if this was a batch made cocktail or not. Either way, I have been very excited for this new bar, but I have been extremely disappointed not once but twice.

Yelp
Stopped in on a busy Saturday night with a group of friends. Thankfully one of them had been before because it's a bit tricky to find! It's such a cool, unique space but there is super limited seating and the DJ is very loud especially since the space echoes. I think if you're just there with 1 person or looking to meet someone it's probably great! Cocktail prices seemed reasonable but weren't very impressive. The women's restroom didn't have any working sinks either which is wild.

Yelp
I feel like I got ripped off. I was charged LBD tax on a mocktail. I ordered a mocktail - a phony negroni. $13. The bartender pulled out a bottle of St. Agrestis non-alc negroni and poured half of it over ice. ($2.60 worth of product, minimal effort). I know bar margins are ridiculous, but still this seems like a lot. That's all I ordered, so on the car ride home I was wondering why my tab totaled $19. I pulled up my receipt to see I was charged LBD tax (1.95) on my mocktail. Think if you have a party tab with five mocktails on it - That extra tax is also calculated into the pre-tip subtotal, so the bartenders are asking for tip based on a falsely added tax. Service was pretty quick (on a Monday night) so I tipped well, the atmosphere was good, but I absolutely hate feeling like I paid significantly more than what my experience was worth. There should have been no Liquor By The Drink tax on non-alcoholic beverages.

Yelp
This is a really cool bar and has a unique aesthetic, however it can be really difficult to find (you'll want to go up some stairs, down an alley, down the stairs in the back, and it is the only door on the bottom floor). The employees were all friendly and we ordered fairly quickly. We didn't get any food, but the pick up station in the wall looked awesome. The negative are its loud, everything seems to echo, it gets super packed but there are lots of seating options if you are lucky enough to score a spot, and I tried the pink flamingo mocktail and wasn't overly impressed. It just tasted like straight watermelon juice. It needed a little more to make it exciting - maybe some bubbles, some citrus, a spicy salted rim, a jalapeño - just something to take it from being so one dimensional.

Yelp
Super cool bar with awesome cocktails. We had their unique take on the Negroni and old fashion. Both VERY tasty- they had the complexity of flavor that you only get at a great craft cocktail bar (think The Fox). The space is very cool, down in a basement with an industrial vibe. It's a real scene, felt a bit like Mother's Ruin but the crowd was more varied in age. They have a small menu of fun sounding bar snacks- will check it out next time. Incredibly loud when we were there!

Yelp
Wow! This place is definitely a vibe! I love the concept of this beautiful bar. Its beautifully designed and and the aesthetic makes you feel like you're not in Nashville. The bartender was super friendly. We just happened to walk in when they was having a soft opening nite. Definitely going to be my go to spot and places I recommend to everyone!!!

Yelp
The space is 5 stars (once you find it) and the one bartender I talked to was very friendly. However the food is blah, $5 for a premade bag of chips they call "Low Country Kettle Chips" I had an their CC Old Fashioned and a standard old fashioned, neither were near as good as the ones i've had at other bars (Rosemary & the Beauty Queen and Perfectly Fine being my favorites) and had quite a smokey aftertaste. I wish the cocktails and the food were as good as the surroundings.

Yelp
When I heard Death & Co had a project coming to Nashville, I was incredibly excited for what was to come. However, what I experienced was not anywhere near my expectation. Don't get me wrong, the vibe and location is on point The physical location is a repurposed industrial setting and is incredibly unique and beautiful. I came for Death & Co backed cocktails though and what I got was basic. I would also add that the customer service was good, but very slow! I'm hoping that they will find a balance of what people expect from Death & Co and what their vision for Close Company is. Honestly if it wasn't labeled as a Death & Co project, I would've given it a better rating.

Yelp
Super rad spot. The vibes, the music, the art on the walls, and the cocktails all come together. it's hidden in the basement. Came in on a Thursday and it was fun. Ive heard it's crazy on the weeken!
