"We all have that one friend or coworker who knows a lot about beer. When given the choice, they might suggest a brewery or tasting room as a place to get drinks. However, if you’re looking for a spot that’s a little more casual and where you’re less likely to hear about strains of hops, check out Closed for Business. This bar on King Street has 42 beers on tap and the bartenders are happy to give you the rundown of the local beer scene or just let you drink in peace. They also serve great bar food, like pan fried pierogies and crab dip, along with a huge spicy chicken sandwich and burger, all of which you can get until midnight on the weekends." - Emily Yates

service was great. food is mediocre. if you like craft beers then you'll love the beer selection. ordered pork skins which were awesome. and the mussels. was surprised the fries were served on top of the mussels. thought they would come on the side. mussels were bland. fries were ok. the broth was a beer broth way to strong for my liking. Prices are decent for King street.

We really liked it here! Didnt eat, just got a few drinks before heading to an event. Beer selection was awesome and unique. Our server was the sweetest person and so helpful. Even other employees would stop by to make sure everything was good. Atmosphere was a bonus. All around great experience!

This place gets VERY crowded during the weekends, and for EXCELLENT reason. The staff is super friendly, and they have an excellent beer selection. I even got a chance to try the food, once, and it was surprisingly delicious, for a place that makes most of its revenue from alcoholic beverages. It's a very warm-looking location, lots of comfy places to sit with friends, and lots of little, at-home touches. Definitely pop in for a drink.

You can't beat the beer list. The sandwiches are all amazing. The kids menu is lacking (non-existent) but we asked to put together a basket and it was better than my sandwich. The place has a really cool vibe and while the staff was incredibly busy, they never appeared so at the table. I look forward to going back and working my way across the beer list again!

Great selection of beers and the food is pretty great too! The appetizers are overall delicious, but could stand to be a bit cheaper for how much you get. Still doesn't stop me from ordering them though haha. Fish and chips are my favorite food item here though, it never disappoints! The beer selection is pretty massive, I'd say 8+ beers at least in each category of beer, with about 6 categories of beer overall. The seating area in the back is plenty big, maybe 6 booth type seating that would fit six people and a big community table that would probably fit 15 or so. There is a community table that seats around 10 in the front but there isn't much bar area and the lounge area with some seats and a few tables only really seats about 4 groups(of about 4 or 5 people) so when it gets busy finding a spot can be pretty tough. Overall I'd definitely recommend this place if you like beer and a cozy atmosphere, the delicious food is a bonus.
