CLOUD NAAN

I love the vibrant colors, and their decor is so beautiful! We came two days in a row; 1st day we got take out and the 2nd day we dined in. Both times we ordered the butter chicken, garlic naan, and jalapeno naan 🫓 🤤 2nd day we we got the same thing as well as the chicken Karahi and harra Barra chicken along with an order of samosas. Their chicken in both dishes were so tender and juicy! The complimentary tea was exquisite and aromatic wish I would've asked for more! It's right across the street from AutoZone the staff is super friendly and we will be going back!

Very attentive and kind service. Hot, delicious masala chai tea that comes with your meal. Warm and inviting, and fun atmosphere. Very lovely decor. Chicken biryani was tasty, a tiny bit dry but the flavour was spot on. Goat karai also tasty and aromatic. A tiny bit overcooked as well, but still yummy. Raita was good though a bit spicier than I like. It would be better if it was a bit less spicy as it’s to compliment and cool the spicy heat of the dishes. Jalapeño and plain naan came out hot and delicious, though they came a tad after getting the main dishes so we had to wait for them to eat together with our food. The pulled apart fairly well to pick up food. Overall, the quality, and taste, and service was very nice. We will return in the future to try another dish. I would like to see a lamb biryani, a nice daal fry, and a daal makani dish added to the menu. Also pashwari naan would be nice contrast with its slightly sweet filling. One common thread across many Pakistani restaurants, regardless of how good or bad the food is, is the lack of attention to ambiance and customer service. That is where Cloud Naan stands out and completely defies the odds. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The owner himself goes table to table, personally greeting each guest with genuine warmth. His respectful and kind demeanor toward his staff, treating them like family, sets the tone for the entire restaurant. In return, the staff treat customers like guests in their own home, offering service with unmatched care and attentiveness. The food is absolutely flavorful and served in generous portions. We ordered the Chicken Karahi, BBQ Chicken Mix Platter, Plain Naan, and Garlic Naan. The plain naan came brushed with loads of butter, comforting and delicious. Although we arrived at closing time, which many restaurants would treat as an inconvenience, we were welcomed with smiling faces and no pressure to rush. Even when they had run out of Chicken Karahi, they offered a Goat Karahi substitute, which turned out to be amazing. The cherry on top was their complimentary Masala Tea, rich, fragrant, and the perfect way to end the meal. And something I have never seen in any other Pakistani restaurant, the staff packed our leftovers with the same level of care and respect you would expect from a high-end service. Cloud Naan is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates Pakistani, Indian, or South Asian cuisine, whether you're in the mood for curries, BBQ, biryani, or a comforting cup of chai. A heartfelt, home-like experience with quality food to match. Highly recommended.

One of the best Indian places I have ever been to. Very authentic, from the food, to the decor, to the service. Overall, the prices are good. I’ve been there a couple times, and it’s I have had a good experience on both occasions.

Visited this place recently and here’s a quick breakdown of my experience: Pros: • They serve complimentary tea, which is a nice gesture. • The ambiance is pleasant — cozy and well-maintained, making it a comfortable spot to sit and relax. Cons: • Unfortunately, the tea didn’t taste good, despite being free. • Ordered the chicken curry, and it was overly oily with a taste that didn’t meet expectations. • While the quality of the chicken itself was decent, the preparation let it down. • The naan was average — neither too bad nor impressive. Overall: The atmosphere is nice and the free tea is a thoughtful touch, but the food needs significant improvement in flavor and preparation. Would reconsider before visiting again.

The food and service is amazing. Everything cooked to order and tastes phenomenal. Naan is great, Malai Boti, never had it before but I’ll get it again. Paratha Roll is my new all time favorite. And the white and red sauces make each dish perfect. If you like Indian food Cloud Naan is a must try.

I love this restaurant so so much. The service is top tier, the food delicious and so authentic. The chicken is always tender and melts in your mouth, I highly recommend the butter chicken, but you won’t go wrong with anything on the menu. You know a restaurant is good when the owner makes rounds making sure you enjoyed your food and service. Best Indian food Carson hands down.👌🏽😋

Found this place during a work trip to the area as I was craving Pakistani food. I learnt the restaurant opened doors very recently and they are still working out the kinks. The decor and ambiance are of a roadside dhaba with "Welcome" written in all Pakistani languages. Now coming to the food, the Goat Karahi was outstanding. It reminded me of Karahi as they are served in the northern half of Pakistan. Best to order the naan with it. Beef Boti was succulent and ordered with the paratha. Chicken Biryani was good as well. One recommendation would be slightly increase the spice level or at least have the option available.

Cloud Naan is a quaint place with good food and decor. The waitress was very attentive to our needs and the complementary chai tea was a pleasant surprise. I recommend the Chicken Biryani as it was the best I've had personally. We also got the Butter Chicken, Chicken Karahi, and Jalapeno cheese naan, but it was a bit too cheesy and maybe the garlic naan would've complemented the meal better. Overall, definitely check it out as it seems to have only opened recently.

Food is so good! Walking in I love the atmosphere and music playing, makes me feel like I'm back in Pakistan. I ordered the chicken biryani and chicken karahi and it was amazing! I even ordered another biryani to-go because it was so good. The waitress was very sweet and gave us some complimentary tea. Definitely will be coming back!

I was skeptical at first trying this new Pakistani restaurant in Carson, but to my surprise this place was delicious. I ordered online and when I got there to pick up my food it wasn't ready, so an adorable waitress offered me some tea and snacks. I don't normally drink tea but that tea was fire! I got the butter chicken spicy and Garlic Naan. Amazing! I highly recommend. Will definitely add to my list of local spots in Carson.

I was stoked to find out a new Indian restaurant had opened up in Carson not to mention a few minutes from my residence so I had to go give it a try. I have lived in LA since 2009 and now for 16 years have been on the hunt for great Indian food. Indian restaurants are a dime a dozen in Southern California but GREAT Indian food is rare and hard to find. I've been to numerous places across the city hyped up by social media (like Mayura) and have been let down every single time. Having said that this is the BEST INDIAN FOOD that I've had in all of the South Bay Area. The only places I've been to that are better have been Michelin starred or more higher end (expensive) establishments across Los Angeles. I placed an order for takeout and the first thing we noticed when we walked in is the decor. The entire restaurant is vibrant and full of color and set up to look like a tea stand or Dhaba. When we walked in our food wasn't ready yet so they offered us complimentary tea while we waited. The tea was fantastic and even came with a little appetizer type snack of masala seasoned crisps. I left the waitress a generous tip for the tea and excellent service. I ordered: Butter Chicken - Fantastic! A problem with most Indian restaurants is the food is extremely bland with minimal spice and flavor. This curry was made authentic to the original dish. Samosas - Came with two dipping sauce, the typical green chutney but also with another red chutney that was pretty good. Normally it's given with tamarind sauce but the other sauce was still good and the potatoes inside were also seasoned. Jalapeño cheese naan - Now this is obviously not an authentic Indian item but it caught my eye and I had to order it. Imagine if a jalapeño popper and garlic naan had a spicy and cheesy baby. Needless to say I will be returning to try the other menu items like the chicken biryani that also looked good. Hopefully this hidden gem in Carson lasts but they have me as a regular for sure.

My dad and I stopped by this place on our way to the airport (dad's flying to homeland!) He was hungry so made this quick pitstop... and we have never been tried this place before.. We got the samosa and the harra tikka, and both were really good... What I really appreciated was their service, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! Food also was so good that I'm definitely stopping by on my way home to try some of their other dishes!

A visit back a place i can't stay away from. Delicious more than yah know. Food so good it melts in your mouth. Never had softer mean. Not every place when the owner will welcome you the he does . Service is stellar. Ambiance is amazing. Authentic not just food but the set up as well.

I would give them a 4.5 :) the interior is beautifully designed, the food was amazing 5/5: the chicken was so tender, all the dishes were very flavorful and balanced. The chai (not pictured) was also very delicious stays heated the whole time. One thing to keep in mind is that ordering takes place on a self-service kiosk when you enter and plates and utensils are self serve as well but after that staff are available if you have any questions or need anything else. Overall I highly recommend this restaurant :)

Love this cute restaurant which opened couple months ago. We ordered samosa, mixed BBQ Tikka Plate and jalapeños naan. Food was so good, chicken was very tender and flavorful. Staff was very friendly, she offered us milk tea and some crispy snack while we were waiting for the food. She also gave us some carrot dessert. We will for sure come back to try other dishes.

ONLY go there if u KNOW the old man(probably the owner). He was making sure that the people he knows get the food first even after coming later than us. Personally going to a few tables nad checking on them. Very unprofessional. We had to wait 1 hour and 15 mins for our food and it came in parts. We got one part of order and had almost finished it when we got the second part. It was good but not worth the wait. The ambiance is good...looks beautiful once you enter. The customer service was very good as well. Our server Madhu was friendly and professional.

The best Indian / Pakistani food I have had in Southern California. Charming and authentic restraunt location in Carson not far off the 405 which recently opened around Christmas 2024. Had the Chicken Karahi for lunch and a Garlic Naan - which also came with an excellent tea, salad, and a rice pudding desert. The chicken fell off the bone and was perfectly spiced - large portions as well to take home. The Naan was superb as well. Everything was freshly cooked and uniquely spiced - such a difference from the usual buffet-fare you see with most Indian restaurants. The menu both more "common" Indian curries and some fantastic Pakistani / Kashmiri BBQs, which are just superb. I look forward to coming back and trying their fish - but I could not recommend this place more just based on this meal. Excellent, friendly service (especially if you are unfamiliar with Pakistani food and not sure what to order). I think coming here weekly will be a resolution for 2025.

Had the Chicken Biryani and garlic naan. Every bite of the Biryani was flavorful! Definitely one of the better Biryani's I've had (saffron flavor was not overpowering which was a big plus for me) The hostess was kind and receptive! Stepping into the restaurant made me feel like I was transported to a different continent!

The biryani is a must. One of the tastiest I've ever had. Naan was so fluffy and crisp. The staff was so very welcoming and helpful when we ordered, definitely steered us in the right direction. Decorations were so pretty as all the decor was imported as to keep an authentic atmosphere.

Such a cute little place! Service was great and we even got complimentary chai! The menu is a bit smaller but the food did not disappoint :)

My husband and I couldn't stay away so we came a second time. We were so happy once again with the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant. The food was again excellent and came out with generous portions!

Yet another new Indian food place! First thing I want to say is the inside is beautiful and I regret not dining in but will on my next visit. It's got a cozy ambiance with a cute deco design that screams authentic Indian food. Service was very nice and we were offered tea while we waited for our takeout. It was tasty and will be replacing my lassi with this tea from now on. I would seriously drive here just for the tea actually lol. Lastly food lived up to the visually appealing setup of the place. Best samosa I've had in a while. Crunchy on the outside while soft on the inside and not overly stuffed, which is how I like it. The kabob was good, but my favorite was the cheese naan and vegetable. I was worried when I saw it was greens but they were flavorful and beautifully spiced. Trust me, get the cheese naan and put some of those greens on top and bite, delicious. I will be coming back here again 5/5

This place is a hidden gem in Carson. It has a very home-y, warm feeling inside. You're literally transported to another country. They really capture the beautiful Indian culture within their restaurant. The owners blessed our family with 2 plates of complimentary naan bread and chai tea. The owners are very kind and the customers inside had a conversation with us.

If you belong to Lahore im telling you ,you will love this place . And the ambience is great and owner is too kind and down to earth.

They took 1 hour to have my order of 2 rolls ready, forgot my friends order completely, ran out of half their menu, very unprofessional. Food was ok when I finally got it.

Wow I'm so glad that we have great Indian food in Carson! We tried their garlic naan, butter chicken, and Kashmiri tea. Everything here is made in house and tastes really fresh. I can't wait to come back!

Food, service, ambiance is ALL ON POINT. Idk much about Indian culture but you can feel the authenticity as soon as you walk in. As a starter, There are tables with rugs to sit on and that to me is very authentic. Then the service enlightens you with their "on the house" side dishes along with their amazing hot tea. If that's not enough the hot n fresh food will bite your tongue followed by their crack sauce. My husband and I didn't expect this to be a wonderful experience and will very much recommend everyone to try this newly opened Indian restaurant.

Awesome and pretty looking decoration and set up they have inside. I had the garlic naan and the samosas, and they were extremely good. Service was great, they gave me some of their homemade tea as well as vegetables to go with the food and everything was really good. I would definitely come back here.

We had a great lunch at Cloud Naan today! Great service from Madhu! The interior is so cute. I really loved all of the decor! The food was delicious. We ordered the Butter Chicken, Mixed Bbq Tikka Plate, Garlic Naan & Jalapeno Cheese Naan. Madhu gave us complimentary chai while we waited for our food - it was legit delicious homemade chai! We'll definitely be coming back to eat our way through the rest of their menu!

New Indian food in the neighborhood, friendly and helpful service, delicious food. A must try. The goat kahari is the best I've had. Husband got the gola kabab and samosa, both delicious. We got garlic naan to pair the entrees and it was soo good and garlicky. They gave us complimentary chai tea; it was creamy and delicious too. We'll definitely go back for more, hopefully they'll have high chairs next time.

Fresh delicious food, all one of a kind dishes that are rich in flavor! Our party had samosas, veggie of the day, Garlic Naan and Chicken Karahi. Everyone enjoyed as all of the food was warm, full of flavors, and excellent sized portions. Definitely will be back and can't wait to try other items next time!

The only Indian food in town. I had their butter chicken, garlic naan, and rice. The food was all very good a sweet but also spicy kick to it. The sauces were also both sweet and spicy. The atmosphere was very welcoming. We were offered a hot tea while waiting for out food. Great service!

This new place is just what Carson needed! Their portions are great, seasoning and flavor is wonderful, service is attentive and helpful! I especially liked the mango lassi with their lunch combo. The ambience is cute and not too overstimulating, which is nice, since sometimes having music videos and loud music can be a lot while eating a lot of tasty food!
