"Club Culinario is the top option near Santa Croce, perfect for either lunch or dinner. They really excel at homey Tuscan food and warm and welcoming service, and it’s not impossible to land a table last minute. This is a special place for hard-to-find salami and delicious cheeses alongside nearly forgotten dishes, like Tuscany’s mountainous chestnut flour pancake pasta with pesto and Etruscan-style wild game meats like tender squab roasted with aromatics. Don’t miss the desserts, either—they do a great classic tiramisu and have hyper-regional sweets like Sardinian saeda pastry pockets dripping with local honey. " - coral sisk, georgette jupe

"Tuscan cuisine is the foundation at this “culinary club,” but diners revel in finding specialties from across the boot on the menu. The owner and head chef inspires memories from nonna's kitchen, using obscure regional ingredients and materie prime (raw materials) from the most idyllic producers in the country, like one that supplies cheese aged in Etruscan-era caves. The fried polpette di bollito (beef croquettes) are must haves, as are charcuterie boards, rabbit and olives, and the potato-filled tortelli with various options of ragu (the goat is a win)." - Coral Sisk

Google
I lived in Italy for 2 months and this is some of the best pasta I've had. And the team here is so lovely, friendly, clearly love the food they serve. And they also open at great hours, very convenient. I first learned about this place from a well-respected chef, who said that this place would be her one perfect meal. And it really does not disappoint. In fact, I plan to revisit often. Truly spectacular.

Memento Martina

Google
I love this restaurant because it’s one of the few in Florence where you can find local specialties, as well as regional dishes from elsewhere in Tuscany and Italy!

Seth Kallen

Google
A very very very special place in the heart of Florence. Marco runs this place with so much love and care. Simple food, amazing hospitality, and somewhere I’ll be coming back for many years to come.

Google
This is for the foreigners. Amazing food, friendly and nice staff, lovely ambience. What else can you ask for? We went there once and had Plin, meatballs, tortellini with wild boar meat and was awestruck by the quality and quantity they offer. The dessert, their specialty biscuits with a wine was too good. Couldn’t resist ourselves from going back the very next day. Had an amazing Florentine steak. Tiramisu, even though commonly available in Italy, was exceptionally good here and so was the creme brulee. The pricing should be a highlight, it’s reasonable and not touristy at all. Must try. Will go again.

Google
Comfortable, homey, and very nice fresh food. Felt like a hidden gem as we were the only ones there when we arrived for lunch before locals started arriving. Pasta tasted very fresh and light, eggplant parmigiana with buffalo mozzarella was very nice and light, and we tried a fava bean special that surprisingly was the best!

EJ

Google
This is a highly underrated restaurant! Food is amazing — get the eggplant with smoked mozzarella and the fussili pasta. Service is also the best among all the restaurants we ate at in the past few days. Easily the best dinner we had in Florence!

Tim English

Google
WOW - Amazing food at ridiculously affordable prices. If you are watching Top Chef or Chef's Table - this is the restaurant for you. Easy walking distance in the historic center. Our family of 7 had a delcious, fun and delightful evening at this hidden gem. We dined with a bunch of locals who know the food here is exceptional. Possibly the most creative chef in Florence. Local foods are expertly crafted to present the flavors of Tuscany while elevating your dining experience. You will thank me for steering you away from the tourist traps and to a cozy intimate setting where the chef uses his skills to prepare dishes that are head and shoulders above the competition

Tried the rabbit stew and their potato fries. Was simply delicious 😋

Yelp
Very welcoming. Great service. Great food. Unusually flexible and accommodating as we were a large group.

Yelp
Nice homely restaurant and great service. Great way to stay away from the touristy vibes.

Yelp
Recommended by a bartender up the street, this meal was amazing! Apparently it's the traditional place where women make homemade pasta all day. The bartender eats there weekly and arranged the hotel employee holiday dinner here, so he believed in his recommendation. House red - delicious Tiramisu - the way I remember it as a kid. Tastes amazing and kind of messy. We were told to try any of the stuffed pasta dishes so we went with spinach and ricotta ravioli and a special canneloni. Light sauces, subtle flavors, just wonderful. We came early, about 730pm, and were the only ones here. An hour later, the place was packed and lively. Now here's the kicker, we were the only American tourists here. Everyone else seemed to be either local or at least Italian. The service was attentive and definitely more hospitable than many other restaurants we've tried in Firenze.

Matt M.

Yelp
Always exceptional food and services. We've come for years. Intimate atmosphere off the beaten path.

Yelp
Kelly and I showed up to our Airbnb a few hours early and it was not ready. Our host Valentina recommend this place, right around the corner. We walked in and we were the only two in the restaurant. It was great having all the time we wanted to talk with our server Alex. He was absolutely awesome and speaks 3 languages. I had no idea what to order so asked him to surprise me with my "first course". Fusilli "al ferretto" with homemade sausage and black summer truffle. It was delicious. Not very big but I'm a fast eater and big eater if you know me you know what I'm talking about. After the first course we ordered off of the blackboard specials menu. We ordered Polpettie Di Bollito con mayo e salsa verde which was also absolutely delicious. If you're in the area you need to stop in and see Alex. It was truly authentic Italian.

Yelp
My friend and I visited Club Culinary Toscano da Osvaldo while we were in Florence a few weeks ago. We visited the restaurant because the reviews were so wonderful. To start, we shared a dish of vegetables similar to asparagus which was quite good. I can't remember what it was called and I can't find it on the online menus. For our meals, my friend had a pasta with seafood that she raved about. I think it was either the Spaghettoni Fabbri (19 min) alle vongole veraci, or the tortelli ripieni di cacciucco con frutti di mare (I'm leaning toward the former). In any event, she said it was the best dish she had in all of Florence. I wanted the ravioli, but unfortunately they were out. So, I ended up getting some mediocre pasta dish I can't even remember. If I were to base this review on my own meal, I'd rate it two stars, but my friend raved about her dish, so I feel that 3.5 stars would be the accurate rating.

Amanda T.

Yelp
Great service and the food was delicious. Try the homemade pasta as you can tell it is authentic Italian food

Becca S.

Yelp
Fabulous! Everywhere else was fully booked and this was right by our Airbnb. The food was delicious and our server was FANTASTIC! Definitely go here!

Mark E.

Yelp
We loved this little spot. The service was wonderful. We ordered from the special menu. Puntarella saltate and tortellini di cinghiale were both delightful.

Carmen H.

Yelp
One of my favorite meals during a two week trip through Venice, Milan, Florence, Lake Maggiore... the food was delicious, complex flavors and excellent ingredients. The service and good cheer was a lovely bonus. Take me back!!

Jason S.

Yelp
(4.5 stars) So fortunate this restaurant was open for dinner on Christmas at 10pm. The food here was excellent, absolutely loved the Florentine steak (especially with their olive oil). The mushroom pappardelle wasn't my favorite of the trip, but the pasta was beautifully al dente and I finished the plate pretty quickly. Would definitely order both again.

Jison B.

Yelp
Unpretentious, well-prepared food at an amazing price point. The staff was nice, spoke English, and our waiter was helpful with recommendations. The dining room was charming and clean. Great meal.

Bonitadi S.

Yelp
After being away from Florence for so ( covid ) long , it was really nice to have a tuscan dinner and really enjoy the pleasant staff. the meal was good , fresh and tasty we will return to this place soon, Close to Santa Croce.

Lisa C.

Yelp
We arrived early, for Florentine folks at least. Given that we were tired as heck, we wanted to eat and get on back to the hotel to rest up for another day. I found Club Culinario via our old friend Yelp, and I wasn't steered wrong. A very nice, casual vibe to the place. I liked the atmosphere immediately. The menu has many great options. My husband was very much looking forward to the braised rabbit stew. We don't have rabbit at home, since I won't eat a species I have kept as a pet. We ordered a Tuscan cured meats and cheese plate to start. OMG, I can't get enough of the Tuscan cured meats. These were incredibly good. I couldn't get enough. We also had a bottle of white Tuscan wine, which we have discovered are very good. Not too dry, not too fruity, just right. My meal was handmade pici pasta with a slow cooked ragu. The thick, chewy pasta was an incredible compliment to the rich, decadent ragu that was full of amazing flavor. I was over the moon for it. Service here was the most attentive we had in Florence. We even got to meet the chef and thank him for the delicious food. He was out front a lot, checking on the patrons that were coming in steadily, making sure everything was to their liking. I highly, highly recommend this lovely restaurant. I know when I come back to Florence, it will be the first place I consider for a return trip.

Todd R.

Yelp
This is dinner... It's a slow braised rabbit stew... I kissed the cook... I did. Chef Steven is a GOD! A God I tell you!!!! This was, by far the best dish I have had in Firenze all week. This was so good that I have added it to the reasons I would come back to Florence. David, that drive to Volterra, and this dish. in fact, if I had more than a 3 or 4-hour Layover here, I would hop in a cab come here, have this, head back to the airport. (I'm sitting at home now, and I see that at 6:44am Houston time, that Club Culinario is open in Florence right now..... I wish I was there!)

Angela I.

Yelp
We came here based off a recommendation from other travelers. Excellent service and food! We started with the chicken liver pate which was served with toasted bread! For the first course we ordered the ravioli with wild boar sauce and the stewed lamb. The stewed lamb was tender and flavorful. I highly recommend it. The wild boar was seasoned very good as well. The side of roasted pumpkin lacked flavor. I was expecting more compared to how the other dishes tasted. The house wine was light and very strong in taste or flavor at all. The customer service was superb! Everyone was very friendly and spoke great English. I would definitely return here when back in Florence.

Lindsey S.

Yelp
Great recommendation from @girlinflorence. Delicious starter of the fried artichoke with cheese and prosciutto. House red is the perfect pairing of the grilled sirloin (if you do not want the 1.5lb meat platter that is the Florentine) and the wild boar tortellini. Great atmosphere and staff. I look forward to returning!

Sara J.

Yelp
I'm going to go backwards to ensure all readers know they must order the tiramisu. It was the very best I have ever had. It launched a tiramisu tour - I now order it at every restaurant in Italy to compare and none have come close to what we ordered here. The food, service, and outdoor seating was amazing. I ordered the ravioli and my husband ordered pigeon. I was really grossed out at the thought of eating a pigeon but it turned out great! I would order it for myself next time. The portions were smaller than at other restaurants, so don't skip an appetizer. The house wine was really good and comes in a decanter which provides about 2.5 glasses. My ravioli was so delicious. And of course.... dessert has left me singing their praises.

Sean W.

Yelp
My favorite restaurant in Florence. We ended up having lunch or dinner here almost everyday while we were in Florence. Great, relaxed atmosphere with a friendly staff that speaks english and Italian. The menu changes with the season but the food is always excellent. If it is on the menu, try the pate, cod croquettes and umbrichelli. A large bistecca is a challenge to finish on your own, but worth the attempt because it is delicious. The owner, Damiano, is kind and friendly with a deep knowledge of Italian cuisine and a passion for hospitality. Come for a relaxing Italian dinner and enjoy great wines and food made with high-quality ingredients.

Coco Z.

Yelp
I love the sausage and turnip tops. A great way to eat lots of veggies. The food in general is really well prepared. Loved all the food but I just wish if the soup can be a little more liquid.

Marilyn T.

Yelp
I wasn't sure what to expect since this place had been written up in Vogue and Eater. I was afraid it would be too Americanized or tourist geared, but it turned out to be a great find. It was surprisingly empty, but we got there around 2pm on a Thursday. The other people in here seemed to be locals. We started with a red blend from Tuscany - very reasonably priced by the bottle (Monna Nera 2016). They start you with bread and olive oil + balsamic. I heard them slicing the bread fresh, which is nice since I'm convinced a lot of restaurants recycle their bread baskets in Italy. That said, the bread is still your typical Florentine bread. Food: - Spaghetti carbonara: egg free. Different from in the US - more like a rich gravy and less heavy. Tons of pancetta, great texture, I soaked up the leftover sauce with bread. The spaghetti was on the thicker side, nicely salted and savory - Umbrichelli: with sausage and black truffles. The pasta was like super thick udon like noodles but with a great bite, and pasta absorbed all the sauce. The Tuscan black truffle was shaved table-side. I loved the texture on these noodles, and they were generous with the truffles - Frittatino omelette with spring onion: omelette in a cast iron skillet - a source of protein, reminded me of Chinese eggs stir fried with onions - Black cabbage all' olio: kale sautéed with olive oil, salt, garlic, red pepper flakes. Probably one of the best vegetable sides we've had. Other notes: - Credit cards accepted. - Clean bathrooms. - Friendly server who spoke English. It's definitely a more refined version of Tuscan food. It's kind of hidden in an alley farther from the central shopping area, but it's worth the trek. I would happily come back to order all pastas as my meal. Price: €67 total for the two of us for lunch.

Jamie L.

Yelp
We had a nice dinner while on vacation. My Italian is horrible so I appreciate how helpful the restaurant was with our language barrier. We only had an appetizer and pasta but loved both! I also tried their house wine and I enjoyed it.

Mary R.

Yelp
We had fried artichokes for an appetizer which we loved. I had ravioli with wild board sauce that I could have licked off of the plate. I think I scraped every bit that I could off of it as it was because it was so delicious! This restaurant was very reasonably priced. I would make reservations because both Americans and Italians eat here.

Itamar E.

Yelp
Food was just perfect. Handmade pasta, winter salad was great, two pasta were amazing, vegetarian and truffle. Burrle desert was very good. Waitress are extremely nice. Great value for money

Jennifer O.

Yelp
Came here on a recommendation from our hotel. This was one of the best meals we had on our week long trip around Italy. My husband said his filet was one of the best he's had, and I loved the umbrichelli with shaved truffles. Their house red wine was also among the best we had. The place is small, so make a reservation!

Grace S.

Yelp
Food:5/5 Service:4/5 Price: 5/5 Ambiance:4/5 From the wild boar pasta, truffle pasta, ricotta ravioli, to the fried veal brain this place is a hidden gem on the "touristy" side of the river. The food is flavorful home cooking, that showcases local ingredients and traditional specialties that are often lost in tourist trap restaurants. The waiters were attentive and friendly, and heavy handed with the fresh shaved truffle :)

Isocephaly B.

Yelp
This tucked-away place is the real deal, and has become our go-to for regional/Tuscan when friends are in town. Since LOTS of friends come to town when one lives in Florence, I've dined here on at least a half-dozen occasions, and I'm still consistently impressed with their food. Have been with small groups of three & large groups of nine (make a reservation!), and the staff always manages things beautifully. V. good house white wine; can't speak for the red, as I've not tried it. If you go early (before 7:30) or on a weeknight, reservation MIGHT not be needed, but I always reserve just to be safe.

Danielle M.

Yelp
Amazing service, Loved our waiter ... Very informative and attentive. The food was very good except the artichokes...they were fried and lacked flavor. Everything else was excellent....

Emre B.

Yelp
One of the hidden gem in Firenze! I and my friends from Southern California had an amazing dinner there. We shared Tortelli di Firenzuola, Spaghetti Carbonara, Braciolone Fetta di controfiletto and Cannolino di ricotta as a dessert. I was almost getting full with their bread and olive oil. I wish I could get some olive oil to bring back home. Chef owner Damiano was helping us to select a wine from Alto Adige as well as explaining all menu to us. Very friendly service from Clara too!

Christina G.

Yelp
It's a small restaurant tucked away in Florence. Walk-ins are welcome, but seating if limited and gets busy around prime dinner time. Servers are pretty low key and chill. We had grilled octopus which was delicious and the tiramisu is phenomenal. It doesn't look like it, but it was spot on. We had grappa for the first time, and it's an taste I will want to forget, but probably won't. Great ambiance. Check it out...you really can't go wrong with Florentine cuisine

Brian B.

Yelp
T BONE, T BONE, T BONE, GET THE T BONE. The t bone was something else, so deliciously prepared and huge. Also the ox heart tomatoes with mozzarella were tremendous. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here

Jeff J.

Yelp
A must if in Florence! Had the veal brain crumble, was hesitant when I ordered, but WOW! Melted in my mouth and was so flavorful. Also had the wild boar tortellini it was rich, tender and had an amazing depth of flavor!

John R.

Yelp
Based on reviews, we made reservations; don't bother. The rabbit was described in the menu as a casserole, but it arrived on a piece of toast, simply cut up into pieces and stacked up--the breast, thigh and leg. Frankly, I ordered it because it is a wild specialty which we don't often see on a menu in the US, but my wife had much better at CuCo (see review). And the side of spinach was disappointingly bland. The waiter said it had garlic, but not that I could tell. And the house red is nothing special, even for a house red. Yes, the service is good and friendly, but that's not the whole point of eating out. So, I think you can do much better elsewhere...try Cuco for contemporary cuisine!

Alina R.

Yelp
Came here yesterday in a party of 6. When we booked the table, we were told that we'd have to finish by 9:30 pm because on Saturdays they do two sitting, ok took not. Came around 8ish, ordered 1-2 dishes per person. After a wait that was anything but short, the food arrived; I must say that it was quite valid and we all enjoyed it. Once finished with the courses, our waitress asked us if we wanted dessert. We did, so she took out order. Literally one minute later - and no kidding, it was one exact, Swiss minute - another waiter came over and said we have to leave since the other people for 9:30 were waiting. The clock said 9:31 pm. We said ok, though we hardly understood why we were asked about having dessert... as we're getting up, the waitress brings first dessert. Weird. I say we were kindly asked to leave by the previous waiter. The waitress says no, no, the dessert is ready. Then proceeds in bring out our the other two desserts ordered. Even more weird. If it were up to me, I'd get up, pay for my food, and leave. But the other people in my party were, indeed, still hungry and therefore we stayed for to have the dessert. And the best part - as we are finishing it, the waiter comes over again and repeats that we have to leave. Then the waitress comes over again and says that she told us when she took our dessert order that we'd have 5 minutes to eat it. Strangely none of the six people at our table heard that part. I will not go into further details but further discussions were held between ourselves and these two contradicting waiters. Overall, I'm not one big on service, etc. but I'd never in my 10 years living in Florence had such straightforward disrespectfulness and arrogance in a restaurant. With the myriad of amazing and hospitable restaurants in Florence to enjoy, my business here was for the first and last time.

Lee H.

Yelp
We came here for the Bistec Florentine at the suggestion of our tour guide. It was amazing all around!

Lew S.

Yelp
The owner of the B&B where we stayed recommended Club Culinario after I mentioned that dinner our first two nights in Florence had been disappointing. I think he took that as a special challenge and wow did he ever blast it out of the park. We started with a selection of Tuscan and Umbrian cold cuts: salami, dry sausage, prosciutto. I love love love this stuff, but this time, it was like familiar food from a more advanced planet. Just amazing. What could possibly follow this? Umbricelli (a thick, hand-made Umbrian pasta with slightly more heft than an udon noodle) with scorzone sausage and black truffle was every bit the equal of the epic cured meat selection. A dish for the ages. We probably didn't need a second course, but an "Elephant Ear," a thin cut of beef, breaded and deep fried and accompanied by anchovy sauce, seemed intriguing. We also had excellent ravioli with ricotta and spinach, and a yummy tiramisu, because with this much goodness we needed to try a dessert. A sensational meal from start to finish. Service was perfect. Thanks, Flavio.

Anthony D.

Yelp
Damiano knows how to do it. Fresh ingredients all within a 100 miles of the restaurant. An eclectic menu with a personal touch. Ask any server the story of the food being served and he will give you a detailed narrative of where it came from and the history of how it was produced. Farm to table at its finest. Relaxing ambience makes it a perfect place to escape the typical tourist fare in Florence. A memorable experience one we will not forget.

irene k.

Yelp
*4.5 stars. My husband and I ate here twice during our honeymoon. Our Airbnb host recommended the restaurant. The food was fantastic. The pastas were prepared perfectly and the florentine steak was delicious! The ravioli and the crab pasta were especially memorable. The only downside was the sometimes spotty, distracted service. Still, it's probably the best Italian food I had in Italy :) highly recommend.

Ben F.

Yelp
What a wonderful place! They found a table for us, even though we had no reservations. The staff were friendly and helpful, with friendly visits throughout our meal to just chat or check on our meal. The food was awesome, made with local fresh ingredients. Excellent crab pasta!

Ashley L.

Yelp
We loved this place! They take reservations, and I strongly suggest calling to make one, as they get very busy. We both ordered the beef filets, and had the potatoes (think fancy homemade chips), asparagus, and some sort of capers salad. Loved all of it. A word to those who won't eat a rare steak-- my husband ordered his steak medium after reading other reviews about undercooked steaks. It was medium rare at best. Wine was only €10 for a liter. Wait staff was very friendly.

Sarah W.

Yelp
Our host at the hotel recommended this restaurant when we arrived, and since it was only a block away we went right over for dinner at 7pm. Apparently this place is quite popular and was already mostly booked for the night, but they were able to accommodate us as long as we can finish by 9pm for the table to be cleared for a reservation. We' are Americans so finishing a meal in 2 hours is not a problem at all! We gladly took the offer. Since it's truffle season, we were determined to try a few of their truffle dishes. The omelette with truffle and pasta with truffle were both excellent, truly gourmet quality with wonderful truffle aroma and shavings of this uniquely flavorful mushroom. We also tried the ravioli, also great with nice homemade quality dough. Finally, just for fun, we ordered the fried squid to try (it was a daily special) and that blew my mind! I was already stuffed and thought I had very little room left to eat more food, and as soon as I tried the squid I just could not stop myself. It was the most flavorful squid I have ever tasted- with the perfect balance of sea salty-ness and sweet seafood flavor. The fried batter was so light that it only added a nice texture but not greasin. I don't even think I can call this calamari because it's just in its own category... I honestly would come back to Florence just for this. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice too, small, intimate, and the waitstaff was attentive. Definitely highly recommend this place!

Jenna W.

Yelp
We felt like the food and the service were both good here, but the house wine is what we thought was truly killer. I had the truffle pasta and boyfriend had the rabbit. The truffle pasta was delicious but light on truffle, and the boyfriend's rabbit was good but pricey as I recall. All in all, great spot. Would come back.

Xin G.

Yelp
The restaurant just blew my mind! The veal brain and the lamb stew are must to try! The truffle pasta is good but the lamb stew is def better!

Susan H.

Yelp
Amazing restaurant. Food was fantastic, service terrific! We ordered a lot of small plates & each dish was better than the next. The culinary match ups in each dish complimented each ingredient. Servers so nice, owner friendly & helpful. Highly recommend!!

Frank R.

Yelp
The meal started out very promising. The cheese plate was beautifully presented with tasty local varieties. The stuffed zucchini blossoms were nicely fried and also plated nicely. A pasta special featuring sausage and aged ricotta was quite good as was a "crepe-like" pasta with shrimp. But all this promise ended when the focus of the meal arrived. I tend to like my steaks on the rare side, and the conventional Florentine preparation is consistent with my preference. But the steak on this occasion was beyond rare. The center was tartare-raw. This alone would not put me off too much if the meat were tender. But the steak was very tough. Others have suggested the possibility of cutting theirs with a fork. We struggled to cut ours with the provided steak knives. When asked about the under-cooked meat, we were told that is how Florentine steak is normally prepared. Well I've have this dish before, and the cente was never room-temperature cool. Without conceding any culpability on their part, they agreed to cook it a little longer. But the steak had already been sliced before it was served. Cooking pre-sliced steak only dries it out and did nothing to tenderize the very un-tender cut. Quite a few pieces were inedibly tough and our plates were returned with a fair amount of unconsumed meat. There does appear to be some cooking skill in this kitchen. And perhaps we were unfortunate to catch them on a rare off-night that coincided with a rare rogue serving of leathery beef. But it did ruin for us an otherwise promising (and not inexpensive) evening.

Jamie L.

Yelp
Delicious! Started with gnocchi and truffle pasta (both her specials) were a great start. Very fresh. Then we shared the steak and a side of spinach. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great hospitality!

Crystal J.

Yelp
Wonderful meal! My husband and I both enjoyed it so much. After wondering off the beaten path we stumbled upon this cute little place that the locals frequent. The pasta is made in house everyday and the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend it!

Felipe V.

Yelp
The bread tasted stale without salt. White beans olive oil had good flavor, though nothing special. The hand made pasta dishes had good pasta or gnocchi, but the sauces that included sausage or zucchini and shrimp were average. This restaurant is better than most, but there are better options in Florence if you search carefully. The wine options were good. The service was good.

Helen T.

Yelp
seems like a popular place, but i didn't love my meal here. i had the pasta w/ porcini mushrooms, and other friends had meat dishes. maybe i would have liked my dinner more if i ordered a meat dish.

Jane T.

Yelp
Stumbled upon this restaurant after first trying to hit up All'Antico Vinaio and saw that the line was a mile long. Starving and disappointed, we came across Club Culinario and peeked at the restaurant and menu and thought we'd give it a try. Service was very friendly and had a mix of travelers and Italian-speaking (presumably) locals. We ordered the gnocchi with pork ragu and a squash/pumpkin-filled ravioli with tomato ragu. Both were really good, homestyle dishes and we enjoyed the cozy and casual ambiance. We ended up coming back again for lunch a couple days later and had an AMAZING umbrichelli pasta with sausage and freshly grated black truffle. GET THIS. I'm already trying to figure out how on earth to make this dish at home! Overall really great, casual restaurant with friendly service. Highly recommend.
