Club Escape

Nice club/bar/lounge space with great drinks. Live dj spinning the beats. Loved the people and the atmosphere. Will definitely go back again. Dress is casual. Cash and credit cards were accepted. I wish they made a whiskey/Scotch/bourbon type drink in the tall picther.

$15 at the 🚪. But drinks are reasonable. My bartender was fab( pic below). It get steamy in here.

Only real gay club on the Southside. Drinks are cheap and extremely boozey, the crowd is older but nice. AWESOME HEATED PATIO with a lot of weed smokers there. Just make sure you bring money for the cover and for tips if it's a drag night. They also do game night and it seems like there is a bit of a running poker game 😉 Awesome hometown crowd. I love the staff and your queens slay 👑😍

Yes it did change I didn't feel comfortable there anymore the hosts of the place did not greet you like they should have And then charge you $10 to get in They open from 10pm to 2am

Over all this club is a cozy spot with good drinks. Great music with a mature crowd. My only critique is that the bartenders should be more attentive to the customers who are trying to pay for drinks and not cater to their friends only.

Hadn't been there in years but it was nice hanging out. Drinks were good & strong. Show was wonderful as always. The male dancers dancing the bar - now that's new to me, but the fellas enjoyed it... Lol

Last night was my first time there in over 8-9 years. And I was really impressed at the upgrade/remodel of the bar. Yeah it's still a hole in the wall bar but who doesn't love a good hole in the wall?? The DJ played some really good music. I was hanging out with a few buddies for the first time so it wasn't too loud. Drinks were reasonable $2 shots of tequila!! LOVES IT!!! The bartenders didn't play that whole "I don't see you" game. It was an older crowd which wasn't bad either. I'm thinking of making this a regular hang out spot.

Warm and welcoming place with friendly staff. Prices are reasonable and the upgrades are very nice. A way better option than going to the northside and a lot less attitude. Highly recommended

I loved how everyone was a family. Folks playin cards in the front and dancin towards the back. DJ was on point and the bartenders were very sweet and attentive! Mix of house, hip hop and soul...loved it!

Chicago is my hometown, but I have since moved to Seattle. I came back as a tourist and to visit friends. I wanted to try something different than the typical Halsted Street bars. One of my friends lives on 71st street and so I looked up bars in the area. I ran this by my friends and they accepted this adventure on a cold winter night in Chicago. We all had a great time. They were having a drag show on a Saturday night. Everyone was so friendly and it just felt very comfortable. I was a little worried since I am white and I thought maybe I would not be welcome. I could tell instantly that nobody cared. It seems to be one of those rare bars where everyone is welcome no matter what. We went with the pitchers of Long Island iced tea. That kept us warm on a cold Chicago night! It was nice being home and very nice to find such a comfortable bar.

I typically don't hang out on the Southside. I'm normally up north. But I have to say. Me and my friend had a blast at the club.. it was different vibe, With me being from Cali. But I actually will go back because I enjoyed myself and that mini pitcher of booze..lol

This place was a great night in Chicago. Cheap drinks, awesome people and the drag show was very entertaining. This place is on the south side so unless ur adventurous u may not want to go. This place is more bar than club but I spoke with the manager who told me they are expanding to the building next door and when they do it should be even better and more club like. The outdoor smoking area was a great spot to meet people n i met some really awesome people. I would definitely go back next time in chi town.
