Old guard Wicker Park/Ukrainian Village. Bars like this are a dying breed. Yes, the service can sometimes be spotty. No, they don't offer artisan cocktails. Yes, sometimes the door guy can seem a bit pretentious. Yes, it's kind of grimy. But it's also tucked away in the residential area and great places to grab a few beers with friends. It looks perpetually closed, but don't be fooled! (Just don't tell anyone so we can all keep going in and enjoying the place).

This place is awesome. Last Monday they had a Muppet themed night. The DJ played only Muppet music and videos all night. Mixed drinks were only 2.50. Pool, Sopranos pinball and Tetris as well. They renamed mixed drinks with muppet names. I drank a Kermit, Animal, and a Grover and Telly.

Pretty funky, small, local bar. Some crazy and vintage decorations hanging from every inch, and it creates a nice friendly ambiance. Great little neighborhood bar with billiards and pinball.

Sad to see this place closing. Get there while you still can. Cheap little dive bar in Wicker park hidden away from all the other bars. Look at all the Chicago history on the walls. Old concert posters and even old McDonalds toys line the place. Enjoy the kitsch.

Love the atmosphere. The DJs are usually pretty snobby and the door guy was kind of a jerk, but it's a fun place.

This is my favorite bar. Even if it wasn't only one block away, I'd go here.

Was the best dive in the neighborhood. Sadly, closed.
