"The Rampart Casino Race & Sports Book replaced the shuttered JC’s Irish Pub last August and right next door, the Clubhouse Deli has now debuted a full roster of favorites, including house made, deli case choices for locals to take home. Joining Starbucks, another recent newcomer on the Promenade that links the casino to the Palms Tower, the deli features seating on the main thoroughfare. On the menu, cold sandwiches such as the $15.99 Parma, made with prosciutto di Parma and fresh mozzarella, an $11.99 “Bold Turkey Club,” and the $11.99 Buffalo chicken. Hot sandwiches include a $16.99 classic Reuben or pastrami, the $13.99 meatball, and the $12.99 turkey pesto. Patrons can create their own sandwiches priced at $6.99 for a 6-inch sub or $11.99 for a foot long. The deli is also serving salads, chili, soups, wings, burgers, and hot dogs. Breakfast sandwiches include the $7.25 bagel and lox and locals can take home a “baker’s dozen” of bagels for $14.99. Inside the deli case, house-made tuna or chicken salad priced at $11.99 for eight ounces, plus egg, potato, macaroni, and seasonal fruit salads." - Bradley Martin

I eat here every month with the deli coupons. Last week the special didn't look anything like the advertisement, so I took a picture today. The Roast Beef Dip was very good, but was missing any crispy onions which would have made it much better. Over all, I will be back.

The ambiance is a bit sterile and uninspired. The food wasn't cooked that well - the BBQ burger meat was a little tough and soaked in too much oily sauce. I would also like to mention that there is a high use of plastic cups and containers. Personally, I would like to see some more eco-friendly alternatives.

We ordered a tuna sandwich a meatball sub and a cup of chili through room service. They didn't see tell us that it wasn't available for room service but they rung up what we didn't have 😒. Manager tried explaining that it was all up charges because of room service they added 10$ Grutity and a 6 $ delivery fee before the tab started door dash that get in a car doesn't cost that much.& We definitely would have gone down or dashed!!!😳 So why over the phone he didn't explain that while I placed the order all of these Changes that doesn't add up no kinda way . He call his self fixing it by taking off one sandwich and the delivery fee. I see why the employee was confused and confusing us by not explaining correctly the menu and tickets change was just wrong from the start. My items should have been rug up correctly or he should have said it was unavailable for room service come down and place the order but .. NOOOOOOOOOO it's the 16$ they didn't want to part with. This is terrible & it is getting over 18$ sandwich that the menu Stated it was 10.99 So watch them & THEY don't have a second menu ANYWHERE WITH THESE PRICES THEY CHARGE US ON IT?( Because it was rung up to tax the situation..) explaining these changes WOULD have been the correct way to have a understanding.

So I really like this place and the feel when you go in. I grew up in Ohio with a family that had race horses and I spent a lot of time in the Clubhouse at the track and soon as you walk in this place they have a beautiful picture that brought me great me memories. They have a special every month of a Drink, chips ,and this month is a lobster roll for $9.99. It's always a decent sandwich or sub. They sell alot of different specialty kinds of cheesecakes . Like oreo cheesecake and fruit ones. I saw a moose cheesecake and flan in the case. There French Fries are delicious and they have a Loaded fry that is also pretty good. While saying almost all good things,I have to say there food is just ok across the board. I eat there often because there prices are ok and its convenient when leaving the casino. I have seen them cut corners with meatball subs and cut meatballs in half to fill the bun. So if you are just looking for fast service and friendly people and a decent value this is the place. Just remember it's still cafeteria food.

Staff wasn’t too friendly, not rude, but not really friendly either. We waited a long time for our food only to have them come out and say they called our name a bunch of times. We sat there waiting and know they did not call our name. The fries were soggy and the roast beef was soggy too. The gentleman did give us new fries when we asked and they were crispy. Overpriced food that is not that great. We won‘t eat here again.

Google
We Came in Friday night around 8ish GREAT STAFF easy communication loved the menu & got exactly what we asked for (the Cornbeef Ruben & the Philly) bread was perfectly toasted meat extremely delicious & whoever the chef is back there definitely made this with love. Great job chef. You are appreciated. 1st impressions are everything so with that said we will be returning guest here. Wish we took a pic of the food but we ate it as soon as it hit the table LOL

Google
Have always had great, professional, friendly service. The sandwich of the month is a deal, the November turkey with cranberry relish and slaw was EXCELLENT. Don't go last 30 mins b4 closing, very busy but service and food still excellent.

Google
The service was bland, once we got the sandwich home it had mold spots on the top. Careless as the employee had to see the blue/green spots.

Yelp
Was at Rampart today, just wanted a light lunch. Didn't want the cafe and the buffet was just too much. I ordered the Italian "sub" and my dining companion ordered all beef hot dog and the Rampart salad. $30.00 kind of overpriced IMHO. On to the food.. . Let's just say the $1.50 hot dog at Costco blows this poor excuse for a hot dog away. The club deli dog was shriveled up and tasteless. The salad was a small handful of chopped lettuce with three cherry tomatoes... Three chomps and it was gone. My "sub" was ok, barely. I mean Jersey Mike's, Port of Subs or even Subway put mine to shame. The only real saving grace was that the coldcuts were boarshead (I think) . Again, totally overpriced. I mean I've come to accept casino food outlets typically aren't cheap anymore, but $30.00 for bus station food.... Nah! Maybe the hot sandwiches are better, but no inclination to try Will stick to the other food outlets there in the future.

Yelp
Gave this a try out of limited choices, didn't expect much out of it since the reviews were subpar. I only tried one item and as such this review will pertain specifically to the Turkey Pesto Sandwich. Surprise, the sandwich was good, the ciabatta roll was perfectly textured and not too thick. Good amount of all Ingredients in it, all in all good sandwich. Also the staff was friendly which is always a big plus.

Yelp
I had the sandwich of the month and ate it there in the back under a speaker playing great 80's music. It was a blue cheese burger with fries and a drink for $10.99. It was really good! The burger meat could have been a little higher quality but overall a good deal. I also ordered the soft serve twist cone to eat there and it hit the spot. It's important as a woman to get my calcium ;) soooo creamy! I also ordered a make your own sandwich and a raisin cookie to go. The sandwich was Turkey on whole wheat with two kinds of cheese. They advertise Boars Head products so I knew it would be good. I told them I ordered it for the plane to go so he wrapped the lettuce and tomato in a separate bag. Sandwich was good but I forgot to take a picture. There was a lot of Turkey in it. Bread, lettuce, and tomato were fresh. Cookie was good and very sweet- yum! Service was friendly and efficient.

Yelp
Frequent visitor to the JW. Love all the improvements But... Don't buy the chili cheese fries. Chili was well beyond it's useful life. Cold cheese unmelted sitting on top of luke warm old chili. Attempted a couple bites and tossed it in the trash.

Yelp
This facility continues to amaze me as to its ability to be such an incompetent operation. Imagine they have five employees. Only 2 authorized to be cashiers; one cook; one slow motion minimum wage worker making one milkshake or custom beverage every 6 or 8 minutes. And one gossiping with her head in the clouds manager. The order line got long and the manager let one cashier take her long break. But the lazy assed manager refused to open another cashier station---instead she retreated to the kitchen pickup counter to continue gossiping with the custom beverage person. Meanwhile the line gets longer. They did not provide my Diet Pepsi--machine not working. This place is a cluster muck

Yelp
We ended up here because we stood and waited for 20 minutes at the cafe and never got seated. We went right up to the counter, ordered and had our food within minutes. Nothing really stood out that would put this deli above anything else. The food was good and service was friendly. Most of items are a bit overpriced but we were glad to have found it and ate instead of waiting at the cafe which we likely wouldn't have even gotten our order in yet.

Monica K.

Yelp
What Deli doesn't have sourdough bread or croissants to make deli sandwiches? When we've come here, they're always out of something. Do better.

A M.

Yelp
Waited 25+ minutes after paying $40+ for two most basic hamburgers and fries. STAY AWAY from this trap hole.

Yelp
Great sandwiches they use boars head meats and good desserts and very easy to sit down or grab and go and great customer service

Yelp
I had a dining voucher that could be used at any restaurant at the Rampart Casino. I didn't want a buffet and I didn't want to eat a large meal at one of the restaurants. I opted for the Clubhouse Deli. You order, get your drink, and then wait while your sandwich is made. They call your name and you pick it up at a different area of the counter. I ordered their classic Reuben with pastrami. There was Swiss cheese and good pastrami in the sandwich but the sauerkraut was almost lost there was so little. While waiting, I got some iced tea and sat watching a basketball game or reading on my phone. My name was called and I got my tray with the sandwich in a brown bag and a small cup of potato salad. You have a choice of potato salad, macaroni salad, or cole slaw. The sandwich was hot when I got it and I had to wait a bit before picking it up to eat. The Reuben was OK but I've had better ones with more meat and certainly more sauerkraut. Prices are a bit high for their goods, but it's a pleasant place and it was quiet when I was there. This would only be something I'd do for a change if I were in the Rampart and wanted to eat.

Yelp
I am a reoccurring customer at the Rampart and am always stopping by the Deli for a quick bite to eat. To say that I am impressed is an understatement. The cashier let me know that the chefs name is Q and his presentation of my food is continuously outstanding. The food served is always fresh and hot. Thank you, Q! You rock!!

Yelp
Address: 221 N Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89145 Hours: Closed Opens 11AM Fri Phone: (702) 869-7722 Great job by Ms. Dolly - way to go - Super good ethic, highly principle, policy and highly cares for customers

Yelp
Went back and manager apologized and gave us a voucher for the inconvenience. He was very nice and understanding. Food is always. Young man at the register was helpful and sweet. Deli was clean.

Vicki D.

Yelp
This is great place to get a quick bite. They serve hot and cold sandwiches and lots of desserts including soft serve ice cream. My hubby got the hot brisket sandwich with potato salad and it was pretty good. I got the grilled cheese and macaroni salad and it was on spot. Pricing is very reasonable. If you have a casino rewards card you can pay with your points and the best part iOS you get a discount but you have to have enough points to pay your bill. You can't pay for difference with cash. But even if you don't have a casino card pricing is still good. Definitely coming back here. Staff was very friendly.

Yelp
Good thing I was not very hungry because if I were, I think I would have been in starve mode if I ordered a sandwich. Just watching the chaos at the register was enough to drive me to ask for a small mozzarella-tomato caprise like salad the 'Bocconini' and a bag of chips. I had no idea what was going on with the patrons ahead of me and the girls at the register. I turned to the man behind me after I said "What is happening here?" and he laughed because he understood. Then another patron went up to the counter and said it had been 25 minutes when they were told their sandwich would take ten minutes. When I heard that I thought, no sandwich for me! So I ordered my small salad and grabbed my bag of chips after I paid. By the time I got back to my friend he said "Where were you? I started to worry." Yeah- I took a long journey to get this salad and chips. Even though the service was chaos and ordering was like taking a journey into time, the Bocconini was great!

Yelp
It is absolutely ridiculous that this closes at 7pm!!! During football that's not even halftime at evening game. People were drinking and so very hungry only to find it closed. They are missing the busiest times that people at sports book are needing their sandwich fixes. Very poor business making model and not good for people who are drinking and need a sandwich and don't want to go sit in the cafe while they are watching their favorite sports.

Glenda S.

Yelp
Just an up-date. Vince did call me and he corrected the sandwich situation. We ordered the turkey sub and it was much better than the pastromi sandwich. And.. we received a pickle and the potato salad! Thanks Vince for taking care of your customers.

Yelp
Going downhill fast! Something is always wrong with practically everything I get. They used to have a really good Ciabatta breakfast sandwich with egg, bacon & provolone. Lots of filling both times on that sandwich. I got just the egg and cheese Ciabatta last time, and now it's a tiny egg and not much cheese on a giant roll. The hamburger was awful, I ordered medium rare and it was pretty much red and not seasoned. And it was a frozen patty, which I never imagined they had here. So much for trying something new here! The bun was burnt on the edges and tasteless, and some lettuce had dark spots. There was a ton of lettuce, probably to cover the dark spots. The weird, stringy pieces of red onion were Iost in that sea of funky lettuce. I've also had the footlong chili dog once, which was just ok. The bun was toasted though, so points for effort. No onions, though the menu lists that on the chili dog. Should have checked before I left. The Italian sausage was so-so. Nothing memorable about it. The JW Marriott should be ashamed to have this place associated with the brand. The deli space is open and decorated with a modern flair. They have a nice selection of pastries and such. Alcoholic beverages are also available. Save yourself from disappointment and don't get anything that isn't a pastry!

Yelp
Visited the casino and had a pool day. After viewing a few menus came across this deal at the Clubhouse Deli. For $10.99 they were featuring the sandwich of the month. For the month of April was the Roast Beef Dip Combo Special.. Came with a bag of chips and a drink. The crispy fried onions and au jus fo dipping grabbed my attention. Solid and decent portion of roast beef Recommend grabbing a Rampart Rewards card to save a few bucks on the sandwich of the month. Typically at 13.99 i enjoyed the savings.

Yelp
This place makes some great food! I am a local and I find myself here at least once a week and I've never had anything I didn't like. Burgers are huge ,juicy and delicious. Chicken Ceasar fresh cold crisp awesome. But my absolute favorite is the turkey club, bacon ,avocado, lett, tomato, usually served on cabana but I always get it on marble rye. The rye is so good here! And the service is always fast ,friendly and kind. The place is immaculately clean also!

Jonathan Z.

Yelp
We went for some dessert and a couple bottled drinks. I'm not sure why our order took so long. What we ordered just needed to be packaged to go. From other reviews, the slow service is the norm.

Trudy K.

Yelp
I had a smash Burger the beef was like eating a vegen burger. Not satisfied. Over priced.

Mike M.

Yelp
A modern & clean looking deli shop located at the corridor connecting the Palms Tower to the casino. Guests at the JW Marriot receive a coupon book with some freebies. For every night you stay at the property, you receive two macaroons. I redeemed the coupon on the final day. The macaroons were just OK. They weren't as rich or delicious compared to macaroons that I've enjoyed in the past. Now for their lunch special- For only $5.99 you get half a sandwich of your choice and a side. They give you approx. five choices of sandwich types. I ordered the tuna sandwich. The sandwich was A-OK. I had no complaints about the quantity of tuna they serve. The little sandwich was packed with tuna. The tuna sandwich was a little too cold, not quite frozen though..but way too cold. The tuna sandwich was plain.. No veggies or seasoning. Add a little bit of pepper or hot sauce to give it some flavor. My side was a small cup of macaroni salad (A-OK too). The ladies behind the counter were smiling and friendly. I just wish I'd enjoyed my sandwich a little more..

George T.

Yelp
Shared a pastrami Ruben and fries. The pastrami was salty. It was lean and juicy but salty. The fries were good. Sandwich was large and basket of fries was large. Not sure what happened to the slaw. The 1/2 full tiny tiny cup of Cole slaw was good but gone with two bites. There was no potato pancakes or other items in regular deli. They did have chicken fingers, burgers, and wings. Therefore, I would consider this more of a corner store or bowling alley deli, then an authentic New York deli. Pepsi was $3 each. For 2 people sharing 1 sandwich, one basket of fries and 2 sodas bill the bill was $26. Not horrible but not as cheap as the bowling alley. The baked items looked good but did not try. Next time.

Rich W.

Yelp
So-So deli. Nothing great and too pricey for what you get. Thought I would give the place a try, wife had pastrami - it was cut pretty thick which really isn't suppose to be as it was hard to chew, and a little over cooked. Extra charge for cheese btw-I had the turkey club, good amount of meat and toppings but ciabatta bread was dry and not very good. Had red velvet cake , Zero flavor. Staff was very friendly and it's very clean. Would I go back? No. Much better places in the area. Sad, would have been a great little deli for locals. Oh well.

Angela D.

Yelp
This is your general casino deli with a variety of options for lunch and dinner. However, today's review is specifically to draw your attention to their dessert window. I was looking for a simple cake that was not too big, and not overpriced. This Napoleon Cake was just right to feed a group of 8 with a small sweets appetite. The appearance was very nice and the taste of the cake was pleasing! We celebrated my parents' 54th Anniversary with it and they were happy! My dad rarely eats sweets and he finished his slice, easy no problem. The cake is layered with crisp pastry and whipped cream filling. It was just the right amount of sweetness, I could eat two slices and not feel overpowered in sugary goodness! The display window had other options like carrot cake, a variety of macarons, Oreo cheesecake slices, individual Tiramisu pieces, and more! If you are a Rampart Rewards Member, you can use your points to pay! Nice locals spot!

Malvin M.

Yelp
Had a chance to try the Clubhouse Deli out. Looks really nice inside. Kudos to I think the Manager on at the time, the line was getting long because a customer at the register was taking awhile, the Manager opened a second register to help with the line instead of just standing there and watching. Prices for the sandwiches were a little on the high side for what you got, but have seen worse. Time waiting for sandwich was short, so that's a plus.

JD O.

Yelp
New-ish deli-ish place at JW Marriott. They use Boar's Head meats so i was up for trying it out. Ordering my "build your own" was a bit challenging because she was slow and unsure on the register. My first issue was with the chibatta roll, which was heavy, bland, and lacking in proper texture. The amount of turkey and cheese was fair, but i got one tiny piece of wilted lettuce that only covered half the sammie. Same with the mayo - it was super light and only in the center. Maybe another visit would be different (i would choose a different bread tho), but my simple sammie was $10 + tax, so I'd rather go elsewhere. It did come with a delicious Boar's pickle, and a very small side of potato salad...just so-so. You can also choose macaroni or cole slaw. They also have a lot sweets here (many fancy looking).. if you're into that.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
1st time here, previous review were mediocre but wanted to give a chance and we had a coupon. OMG, just for some sliced meat and cheese that we ordered at 6:28! Still haven't received order as of 7:15. Fire the meat slicer!!!!!!!

J P.

Yelp
We found this place by accident. We were planning of eating at the Hawthorn Grill for lunch but it was Sunday and they close at 2pm and it was 1:50p We ordered the Rubin. D-lishous! We came back the next day for lunch again and had the Turkey Pesto. Again, Yum! One small note. The staff should be more concerned about greeting the customer is standing in front of them than continuing to train the new girl. One finger held up to gesture the acknowledgment of our existence would have sufficed.

Tee L.

Yelp
Not one of my favorite, pricing high, staff is helpful and attentive, sandwich was dry, let's say it needed something,I had the corn beef brisket reuben).. Nothing like the ones at Carnegie on the strip. I would only use my freebie, I would not go out of my way to pay for one...

Lilo R.

Yelp
Horrendous. I've been here a couple of times when they first opened and I had no complaints, now I'll never go back. I've tried them twice in the last week and same result every time. The cashiers aren't trained and are extremely slow. The workers don't seem to know what their doing or what their role is. After waiting 15 mins to place your order when there's only one person in front of you, you wait another 15-20 mins for your order. There's no urgency and the food isn't even good. Being that it's next to the bingo room, I've tried to get some food before bingo. That didn't work, after waiting I had to leave. Another time I placed my order and had to go back during my bingo session to get my food because they take sooooooo long. Desserts are also extremely dry!

Barbara E.

Yelp
When this Deli first opened, it was way too pricey but then they closed to do some additional improvements and one improvement was adjusting the menu prices so I decided to try it. SO glad I did! Had the meatball sandwich and it was outstanding and the portion that was generous. It came with a small container of salad choice (mac, potato or slaw). I will definitely eat there again. They have a beautiful display of pastries that I am told are all made in-house.

Mo M.

Yelp
We've had three very good meals here over two visits. High quality meats and good prep on sandwiches and salads. Cheerful, courteous help from the staff as we expect from a JW Marriott.

David D.

Yelp
By far the best deli this side of town. The Rueben and hot pastrami sandwiches are phenomenal and the workers there are always so kind. I stop by at least 4 times a week now.

Loretta L.

Yelp
They make the BEST SANDWICHES - I can't decide if my favorite is the Pastrami or the Corned Beef Reuben because they are both sooo delicious!! I will certainly try other selections on the menu but for now I'm getting my Reubens.

John S.

Yelp
Excellent sandwich but prices very high! No sides with sandwich, everything extra! Soup good but small Portion! I'm not sure that I can frequent!

J S.

Yelp
I ordered a roast beef sandwich on rye. Took it home and got a roast beef sandwich on a submarine roll. Not what I ordered.

M R.

Yelp
Overpriced. Build your own turkey had no taste. The turkey was bland and the cheddar was tasteless. Ordered avocado and they forget to put it on. Once they corrected this very little was added. $34 for two. Each got a build your own sandwich chips and a water. Capriotti's is much better.
