This pub is a charming little gem in the heart of London. It’s a very small pub where most people stand, so you have to keep an eye out for someone leaving and quickly grab their spot. Despite being super crowded, the service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful. Prices are typical for London, but they pour one of the best Guinness I’ve ever tasted — incredibly smooth

Coach & Horses is a straightforward Soho pub that does what it is supposed to do. It is small, usually busy, and very much part of the area. The atmosphere is lively without being chaotic, and it works well for casual drinks, short stops or meeting friends in central Soho. It feels functional rather than designed, which suits the location. The drinks selection is solid and reliable. Prices are what you would expect for Soho. Food is standard pub fare — filling and uncomplicated. For me, the Coach & Horses is not a destination pub, but a convenient and dependable place to stop for a drink when you are nearby.

We came here because of the proximity to our hotel and the high stars. We didn't have a reservation but they were gracious enough to seat us anyway. Upon first entering the beautiful decor strikes you. The bold and beautiful artwork is very striking. The server was friendly and delightful. We had some signature tequila drinks that were delicious. We started with Mexican street corn which was delightful. For mains I had pork cuchinetta while my partner had cerviche.minevwas fantastic, while my partner was a little disappointed feeling that the flavors were not forward enough. We didn't have dessert being the portions were large. I recommend coming here if you're in the area just don't order the fish. Everything else about the restaurant is worth the visit.

What a great pint! 10/10 We just stopped on the off chance not seeing the reviews before.. and honestly up there with the Devonshire! One of the best pints I have had in the uk.

My friend who went to Guinness brewery said the Guinness here is St. James Gate level of quality. I have to take his word for it because I've never been to Ireland. The young bartender ladies was lovely but I didn't have a chance to try the food here because the kitchen is closed on Sunday.

Went in search of a Guinness, well worth it. Great pint of Guinness, very friendly staff and the food smelt and looked delicious! Definitely be returning for another Guinness and Salted beef sandwich.

A proper a pub in the middle of the West End is hard to come by let a lone a proper pub that is any good and The Coach and Horses is beyond good. I have never been when it isn't very busy. The sole reason for this is it pours one of, if not the best pints of Guiness in London - it's not pretentious like The Devonshire so you won't have to worry about all the influencers, nor is it as cramped as The Toucan so you get a real glass rather than a plastic pot! The bar staff no matter how busy are swift and attentive and the owner is always knocking about which is a good sign on my eyes! Also has a rather nifty Guiness Xmas Jumper! They do traditional bar sandwiches as well however am yet to try these but if we use the drinks as a bench mark then they will be of a very high standard.

I loved the art and feel of this bar! The service was great and everyone was so friendly. I didn't get food but I got a drink and it was made perfect.

Nice local pub that serves ice cold Guinness. Appears to be an Irish Pub than an English Pub but we ducked in to get out of the rain and what better excuse do you need to have a pint of beer. Bartender was friendly, prices were reasonable, clean establishment and food appeared to be delicious. Next time I'm in town I'll spend more time to enjoy it all.

I've been to Ireland, and the Guinness served in this pub is on par with the pints I've had in Cork and Dublin. Great traditional pub decor. If you've been to any London pub, you'll know what I mean. Lots of locals and theater-goers. Not too many tourists, at least I didn't hear any American accents. Pretty loud during the pre-show hour. There is a TV, but people were generally just chatting. Bartender was affable and suggested other ales to try. You should travel to London and hit all the pubs. It's fun being international, like me. Aye, mate.

Unpretentious Irish pub round the back of the London Transport Museum. Two ales on when I visited, Courage and Spitfire. The food looked good although I didn't eat there. The landlord was friendly enough although he appeared distracted by the Scottish Grand National which was showing on the TV. Clientele appears to be a mixture of tourists and regulars although there isn't room for large groups. Good place to escape the crowds of Covent Garden.

Great Pub on Wellington! Nice selection of beers and great selection of whiskey's! If you are tired from walking around or if you want to grab an afterwork drink with your friends and colleagues to unwind, or if you are up waiting for a theatre performance or show, this is a nice place to kill some time! Lots of restaurants around as well to go to afterwards for a nice dinner!

Traditional (not a plasticated) Irish pub with a surprisingly 'local' feeling for this part of the world. Handy for theatres, the opera and a short walk from the piazza and the markets. Used to have the best Guinness in town (had Liffey Guinness from Dublin imported, but they all do now). Plenty of interesting characters frequent this place (some a bit too 'interesting' for comfort). A good mix of Londoners, theatre goers and not too many tourists.

Nice, if typical, pub near Covent Garden. It's quite touristy and crowded but you could do a lot worse.

Nice pub. Pretty small inside but it's cosy and a break from the norm touristy places aka bars that might be more inward. In fact it feels like a soho pub which is nice as we are right by Covent Garden. Pint was cheap too. About £3.40 I think. Stood outside to watch the world rush by. All good.

Got to be one of the best locals in London. Great staff and beer - especially Guiness. A must to try for their lunchtime rolls - hot salt beef and limerick ham is outstanding. Dom Perrion champagne only £90 and house is only 20 or 25.

Great whiskey selection and reasonably priced. Cozy environment, but a small space. Still everyone was friendly, good place to avoid the London weather for a drink or a few.

Lovely wee pub, stopped for refreshment as the Girls were on a Day Out in the Big City, on the way to Theatre Royal, Drury Lane for 42nd Street the Musical. Made to look bigger than it is due to the large mirrors. The Irish man behind the bar was excellent, serving I think locals, asked me what I would like, at one point I thought he had forgotten me, as he asked another customer what they were after, however if just started pouring our drinks. Fairly busy, but this maybe due the 6 Nations, England & Wales playing at Twickers.

I call in at this pub every time I come across to England to visit the relatives. Great little pub. Not touristy. The food offering (primarily hot sandwiches) is limited but excellent - especially the salt beef sandwich. Thoroughly recommended.
