"Richmond’s most metal burger joint, Cobra Burger is proudly loud and in your face. Get your fix of true smash patties, made from Harris Farms beef, which, like Cobra’s trolls on Yelp, is ground fresh daily. You can’t go wrong with the classic Cobra Burger, loaded with Cobra Sauce, pickles, pickled red onions, cheese, and “shredduce;” just don’t ask for substitutions because this just isn’t that kind of spot." - Stephanie Ganz

I heard about Cobra burger a couple years ago, I love a good smash burger. I live in NOVA and have wanted to make it to Richmond just to try this. Finally got down there and was concerned the hype I had heard would have been a build up for a let down. Let me just say, this is hands down the best smash burger (heck) best burger I have ever had. It has so much flavor, the right amount of crisp and juiciness. My friend and I shared the Cobra burger and the Dutch burger (both double patties) we both couldn’t decide which we liked better. Hands down we will be back. I got a burger to travel home to my husband, it wasn’t fresh when he had but still thought it was phenomenal. The owner Adam, was super friendly. Love their attention to a clean environment. The atmosphere inside is super edgy, love the darkness to it. They do play loud heavy metal, not my favorite music but I respect it and it totally goes with the vibe. I cannot recommend this place enough, if you don’t like the music, I recommend getting it to go. It’s very much worth it! Thank you for excellent food and service. So ecstatic it wasn’t a build up, the hype is REAL!

Google
Burgers and metal, what else do you need? This place is excellent. Seriously some of the best burgers I’ve had, super flavorful and incredibly fresh. Loved the fries and sauce as well. I was really into the playlist and the overall vibe of the spot. Everyone was really kind and the food was SO good. Plenty of free street parking around with some outdoor seating but indoor seating is more plentiful.

Went in with high expectations... and they were justified 😋 Cobra burger and Cobra fries were friggin perfect. Super friendly too. Definitely going back 😁 Update June 16th, 2024 - got The Dutch burger this time. Effing perfection x 2, think I like it better than the Cobra burger 🤯

Google
This place is ridiculously good. The service was great (guy at the counter tonight was super nice), yeah there is metal music but who cares? I went to eat, not to have a frilly environment. The burgers are amazing. I had the dutch burger (def recommend double for all burgers because the patties are thin) and my hubby had the cobra burger. The pickles are made in house and are outstanding (they sell them in the fridge near the counter). Fries are bomb as well but basket is a lot for two people so keep that in mind. Love this place!

Google
10/10 would recommend!! Firstly, the burgers & fries here are AMAZING🔥 My bf and I came here for dinner a few weeks ago starving… and I literally demolished my food after taking a pic 😂!! Best burger I’ve had in awhile!!! Secondly, THANK YOU to the owners & staff for being such wonderful people! The service here is really above and beyond. I was so distracted by my burger (lol) that I forgot my coat after leaving the restaurant. Cobra Burger sent me my coat with no issue and I received it so quickly! We are sure to be back whenever we’re in town!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Nestled in the heart of Church Hill, Cobra Burger is a haven for those craving juicy, flavorful burgers in an eclectic, alternative setting. From the moment you step inside, the vibe is unmistakably eclectic. With an exotic fish tank display, blue hue lighting, and the metal playlist set the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The star of the show, of course, is the burgers. Cobra burger takes pride in using high-quality, locally-sourced ingredients, and it shows. Each burger is a masterpiece of flavor and texture. For those looking for something different, the Jalapeño popper burg delivers a punch of heat with its jalapeño jelly, while balanced with a paprika cream cheese spread. It is truly a sensational combination.. Vegetarians and vegans aren’t left out either. The Garter snake, featuring a chickpea patty with smoked tomato jam, fresh lettuce, and a “shiitake 🍄‍🟫” take on bacon rivals any meat-based option. Every bite proves that this restaurant is committed to catering to all dietary preferences without compromising on taste. Service was friendly and relaxed, enhancing the laid-back, alternative atmosphere. The staff are knowledgeable about the menu and happy to make recommendations, ensuring that even first-time visitors feel right at home. In a world of cookie-cutter fast food joints, it’s is refreshing to experience a place like Cobra

Google
Seen this place mentioned a lot online, decided to check it out. The Cobra Burger is worth stopping in for on its own... One of the best Smash Burgers I've had in RVA.

Mia Jones

Google
Ordered at the counter (no reservations). They were blasting metal music the whole time so just be aware in case that’s not your thing! The burger was outrageously good - I got a double Dutch and crushed it. So tasty I forgot to take a picture.

Howard G.

Yelp
I really really enjoyed this place You really get a lot for ur money Food was great! Drink was very good I had to get used to the heavy metal music at full blast Staff was friendly Local hotspot

Yelp
Hands down, my favorite burger in RVA. While smash burgers are all the rage now, this one has it done right and the flavor EXPLODES! And it's messy eating. you WILL need lots of napkins. They have a menu of burgers done THEIR WAY (and the vibe is that they really don't like you asking for changes... in some cases, they tell you no changes/substitutions), and truth be told, their way is probably the best way. I ordered the standard Cobra Burger and fries. Man! Normally when I go to a restaurant for the first time, if I like what I order, I probably order the same thing every time I go. For some reason, I'm inspired to try every burger on their list. And the dipping sauce that comes with the fries is amazing! I also tried my friend's chickpea nuggets, which tasted like chickpea nuggets and I don't need anymore of those, but they weren't awful. Service is not their thing, lol. Just know that going in, follow the rules, and you'll be fine. Order your burger at the counter and they'll bring it to you. Fill your own water glass. Bus your own table and separate everything according to trash, recycle, etc.

Yelp
My husband and I tried Cobra Burger tonight before heading over to Maymont for a concert. We were craving burgers, and heard so many good things about Cobra. First, the food. We both had the signature Cobra burger. My husband had a double, I had a single. The combination of flavors was tasty, but the bun was SO big for a single burger that I barely tasted the meat. I think they need a smaller bun for a single, and my recommendation would be to go with a double if you actually want to taste meat. The fries were hot and crispy, with a smoky, creamy dipping sauce. So, why the two stars? The food deserves 3.5 stars. But the ambiance turned us off. We arrived right at opening time since the Maymont concert started at 6:00. Shortly after we arrived a family with two school aged boys came in. The music the staff turned on was hard core heavy metal, played so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Plus, the lyrics were peppered with f-bombs and sexual innuendo. I understand that Cobra Burger has an edgy vibe and I have no problem with racy lyrics, but I expect a restaurant with a kids menu to play more appropriate music during hours when kids will be there. Save the hard music for later when the place is full of young people having a good time. We asked the bartender if he could turn down the volume, and he said yes, but then did nothing. We won't be back, and will head to Beauvine Burger next time we crave a burger. Better food, better atmosphere. P.S. props to Cobra Burger for promoting composting and recycling. Everything in your food basket, including the paper and sauce cups, can be composted. I love that!

Yelp
Best butter burger I've ever had!!!! Drinks are amazing as well. Adam, the owner, is awesome and takes very good care of you at the bar.

Yelp
After swimming at the pool for a couple of hours, my friends and I decided we wanted a burger. We ended up a Cobra Burger for a double date! I was excited to try here because of their vibe on ig. I ordered the Cobra Burger without pickles and onions and 1 patty. It was very good. Next time, I will ask for extra shredduce! My fiancé ordered the ACAB Burger and the Buttered Burger. The ACAB Burger with 2 patties didn't fill him up so that was disappointing...so that's how he ended up ordering the Buttered Burger with 2 patties as well. He liked the taste of both burgers!

Yelp
The Richmond smash burger scene is booming but cobra takes the number one spot by far. It's not a huge space, the music is loud and the friendliness of the staff is hit or miss but we come back again and again for the incredible food. Their menu offers unique burgers with no modifications and rotates fairly frequently. Their salt and vinegar fries with their special sauce are incredible. If you want the best burger in Richmond make a trip to cobra burger!

Kyle G.

Yelp
4/5 due to price point. I love burgers, especially smash burgers. Cobra delivers everything you'd want in a smash burger and then some. The made in house pickled red onions provide that tanginess to break up the fat from the burger and they make a perfect marriage. The patty is crispy on the edges, meaty, savory, and made with very good quality beef. The bun holds well to the mass they assemble in between so don't worry about mushy bread at the last bite. Shredduce is necessary and makes me feel me feel healthy so thank you. THE SAUCE...it's okay on its own but when paired with Pattie's it's next level. The fries are good but not $3.50 for a side good if that makes sense. I'd pay the extra $1 or even $2 but anything more than that starts feeling like 5 Guys and I'd want a bag with a ton in the bottom. If you are a burger person then this is a place to sit your butt down for a good experience. Just be prepared for the price point.

Yelp
This review is a bit late but I came here a few months ago with some friends for dinner. I heard a lot about their kimchi burger which I ended up ordering and it was surprisingly really good! I didn't expect the flavors to mesh as well as they did, but I'm glad I got a chance to try it! Overall, a very flavorful burger. It seems as though their burger selection changes quite frequently though so a burger you like may not be offered all the time. I also had a side of fries which were a bit salty but still quite tasty. You order at the counter as you come in and grab an open table. The lighting in the restaurant is a bit dark but it has it's own appeal. Pricing on the burgers themselves are alright - maybe on the pricier end but they do offer some unique burgers so I'd say it's worth a visit if you havent already!

Aleks J.

Yelp
It's fast food food, not a sit-down restaurant. And they have the audacity to ask for tips. Burgers are ok but the meat is paper thin. My bacon was thicker. Definitely get the double and be prepared to spend 18-20 for the burger. The fries were decent and so was the sauce. The soft drinks were not good and they don't have many options. The ambiance is unique for sure. It's dark which is cool but not nicely decorated. Just really simple. Like Babes when all the lights are turned off but slightly newer. The music is extremely loud. Don't go if you plan to eat with company and have a conversation. The owners or staff are very left leaning, which is a plus! Overall it was okay. I wouldn't go back. I enjoyed Dutch and Co more.

Danette D.

Yelp
Burger was great; first time trying a smashed burger but I thoroughly enjoyed mine. I would recommend double patties as it is a smashed burger which means a thinner patty. The salt and pepper fries were the bomb, home cut fries with a nice and crispy. They come with a homemade sauce but in my opinion it wasn't needed. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and service was fairly quick. Establishment is dark inside with plenty of seating. FYI: if you don't like heavy metal/rock, I suggest you get your food to go. Overall great experience.

Michael M.

Yelp
These burgers are top notch! Didn't have time to hang out but will next time. The fries were still good after reaching my destination which I thought was impossible.

Lena M.

Yelp
There is no better way to say this than the truth. Cobra Burger is the cool kid of restaurants. Its vibe and atmosphere are so incredible that even though I'm not normally a fan of their style of burgers, I adore their burgers because I like the brand they're selling so much. Their burgers are mega smash style. Super crispy and thin, don't be afraid to layer four patties on top of each other. They have a very entertaining Instagram page where they update all their latest burgers and whatnot. If you want to buy a bottle of wine from Second Bottle next door they won't charge you a corkage fee. This isn't your traditional burger place. It's very metal in the most Richmond way possible. It's dark and moody with heavy metal music playing. You order up front and sit wherever is open. This place isn't for everyone, but it's a very fun local spot. Their classic Cobra Burger is a good place to start. However, if you wanna try their special burgers you won't be disappointed. The meat is crunchy and packed with flavor. They aren't shy with the sauce. Do know their burgers are a bit messy, but totally worth it. My favorite side is their salt and vinegar fries. So tasty and tangy! Yes it's true the prices are on the higher side, but you get what you pay for. And the service here is incredible.

Kathleen D.

Yelp
Cobra Burger is hyped for a good reason: it is DELICIOUS. I stopped by with a friend last weekend after a nearby beer festival. We ordered our burgers at the counter. I chose the ACAB with a single patty, a side of fries, and a Boylan cream soda. My friend had the Sad Cathy with a pilsner. It didn't take long for the food to be delivered to the table. My burger was super good; I love smashed burgers and they do theirs right. The fries were a heaping portion and thus required a to-go box. They were seasoned so well and were perfectly crispy. They have a bar as well as the line of tables. It's a small space, first-come, first-serve on tables, and offers an all-around delicious food experience in a casual, chill space. Obviously, I will return.

Cassie M.

Yelp
I went here with my parents on Sunday afternoon, and we were far from the only people who wanted a burger then too. It's a super casual joint. There is very limited seating options here, you have to be aggressive to grab yourself a chair. They have a lot of fun burger creations. My dad had the cobra burger, my mother had the ACAB, I had the wake n snake. They both really enjoyed their burgers. I didn't love mine, the tomato jam was very overpowering, & made it too sweet. I had to scratch it off, it looked really great especially with the ube bun but it just didn't please my tastebuds. They're definitely on the higher price side, & they don't come fries which is a shame. We still ordered some to share, & they were tasty, just would've tasted better if they weren't $6.66 extra.

Andres C.

Yelp
Not as good as I heard it was. Too expensive and it had kind of a pretentious vibe. To get a satisfying burger would have cost like $20 (cuz you need two patties). I realize they are smash burgers, but still. Would love to give it 5 stars, but Beauvine gets that.

Amanda S.

Yelp
Cobra burger continues to be my FAVORITE burger in Richmond! Hands down, no debate. It's insane how delicious and consistent their food comes out every time. I always get the Cobra burger but my secret is to get the cobra sauce on the side otherwise the burger is super messy - not that messy is a bad thing, but I like a burger that stays together so I can really enjoy all it has to offer. Oh and the fries - perfect every time. You really can't go wrong here!

Tairet P.

Yelp
I recently tried Cobra Burger and it has become my go-to burger place. Every single component of their burgers is made with care and love, from the delicious patties to the amazing Cobra sauce. The flavor combination is out of this world and I can't get enough of it! If you're looking for a tasty burger, look no further than Cobra Burger - you won't be disappointed! The staff was amazing and frendily.

Lauren L.

Yelp
Honestly unimpressed. I got the Baby Butter Burger and the bun tasted like a McDonald's bun and that's all I felt like I tasted with the pickles. I was pregnant so that might have been why my tastebuds were a little off. Service was quick and the fries were okay. My husband liked his burger, but thought it was expensive for what we got.

Sue F.

Yelp
5 stars from me. My burgers from here have always been so good that it makes me sad I live so far away and it's not as easily accessible as I'd like it to be. I will make the drive from the West End tho. They're probably my favorite burger in RVA and I love me a cheeseburger! My favorite is a crispier bacon and burger patty with my cheese, that's just how I like my burgers in general and Cobra burger nails it every time. Kinda diner style but better. It just tastes good. Every time. Also my drinks have always been served cold and tasty. Love this place. Wish there was one closer to me!

Yelp
A pretty good burger spot in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond! Definitely a local joint and watering hole. The first thing you notice is the atmosphere, which is pretty dark, and the music is an interesting choice of heavy metal rock. Take it or leave it though, which just seems to be the vibe of the place, which I found kind of refreshing. Got the double Cobra burger, which was really good. Burgers were a smash-patty style, and were big, juicy, and delicious; I really enjoyed it. I also got a whole side of fries to split between myself and one other person, which was more than enough. This basket could feed 4, and adding the regular side with the burger would have been enough to split between 2. While they were plentiful, they were also plenty salty - to the point that I had to stop eating them because my mouth was burning before I could finish them. I had never experienced anything like that. Overall, I still enjoyed my experience here. I like that it is a local spot and the burger was great. I would return and recommend if l in the area looking for a burger, but wouldn't get anything other than the burger itself. A pretty good burger spot in the Church Hill neighborhood of Richmond! Yelp
Food was mediocre and waitstaff was rude to me. I truly don't understand the hype with this place.

Jezz S.

Yelp
Food: i ordered a single old bay burger. I think the meat and bacon were overcooked. The taste was more crispy/burnt as if they forgot the burger and bacon was on the grill. I didn't taste the old bay as much and the sauce wasn't prominent. The burger bun was fresh. The burger had potential based on the ingredients but it was just bad/meh. The burger was dripping in grease. I was hungry after eating a $11 burger that didn't include fries. I don't think it's worth the price. I love love love the shrek drink. I wish i had more of that. I think this place is a great drunk stop if people want to order drinks. I don't think i can eat their burgers while sober. Service: average/no complaints Ambiance: I like the lighting and the cobra theme. It's definitely better for a late night vibe. My party of 2 got there around 6 pm. The place got very crowded during the dinner rush and there is limited seating. I can see myself having drinks and chatting there at night.

Han V.

Yelp
Cobra Burger is a solid place for those seeking smashed burgers and a VERY Richmond vibe. Being smashed burgers, the burger patties are thin so I would recommend getting at least 2 patties. I would recommend getting a burger with cheese since they make sure it's super melted and oh so gooey. I really enjoyed how they take special care to make sure that the cheese melds with the patties. The patties themselves have a nice char and caramelization around their ragged edges. The burgers are a bit messy to eat but that's part of the fun. Though prices are pretty steep, included with the burgers are a side of their fried. You can choose regular or Cobra fries which have pickle/vinegar seasoning on them. Fries seem like they're prepared in advance and not to order because they come out a bit cool and limp. It would be nice if they did a second fry right when you order so they came out super hot and crisp. The restaurant itself is very small with a good portion of it being their bar space so they don't have many tables. Everyone also places their order at the front counter so expect come congestion when you arrive. On the weekends, it's pretty difficult to snag a table, but you may get lucky as you wait for your burgers since they do take about 15-20 minutes to come out. If you're able, I would recommend placing an order online and taking it to-go.

Lauren D.

Yelp
Burgers good but super salty and paper thin. My husband really liked his food and recommends this place

Mark C.

Yelp
Best burgers in town. Really fucking good burgers. Down side is you pay an arm and a leg. You want a double burger and a can of beer and your tab is sitting at $25+ before tip and that's absurd.

Minh P.

Yelp
Very good PAPER thin burgers! The patties get a great crust if you're into smashburgers. Best to get multiple patties if you're looking for a filling meal. I got the classic Cobra Burger, which was very tasty and well-balanced. The cobra sauce rocks. I loved the thin patty, but almost wish I got two. A lot of people I know call Cobra Burger the best burger in RVA and I see why. Maybe not your pick if you don't like smashburgers, but it's definitely good. They have a "Clawdette" burger for people who enjoy smaller portions too. The place has a very specific vibe/voice, that shows up in the decor, atmosphere, and even menu. The folks who work there were nice and seem cool. The menu isn't huge but I get the impression that they do a few things and they do those things well. Prices were reasonable. I could see myself coming back if I am in town!

Taila R.

Yelp
Cobra Burger has the best smash burger in town, but this place isn't for everyone. I'll make it simple: THE PROS - They have delicious food. - They have a full bar - They are locally owned - They're a little bit badass THE CONS - Expensive - RUDE employees that make you feel unwelcomed ( 3 separate times for me) - No substitutions allowed - Loud and sometimes unflattering music - Odd hours, especially on Sunday. I hope this helps !

Katelyn H.

Yelp
Best smash burgers in Richmond, definitely the place I recommend to anyone visiting/local. I have been going here for about a year now and this place is my go to because of one simple thing - consistently high quality smash burgers! The people who service are always quick and friendly when I have been. Worth the price and worth the wait!

Joe C.

Yelp
Solid smash burger. Fair Bar, and service is counter ordering, and waitstaff drop off. Would have liked maybe a couple more items on the menu. But what we all had was solid.

Jeff C.

Yelp
Pretty good burger. Staff was friendly. Disappointing that you can only remove options from the burger but not add. No tea or water unless you purchase the Liquid Death water in a can. Then there is the music... WOW! Not my genre and the volume is insane. I guess it works but we won't return. Too bad because the burger is actually really good.

Jayce B.

Yelp
The place was Meh. First the service was not great the ladie at the took our order didnt seem in a good mood. Then the food didn't take too long to make and we got it in less than 10 minutes. When our food came it taste great kinda like beast burger in NJ. The size of the burgers is not worth for what you pay for they were not that big or filling. They also had drinks but no water bottles. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A RESTAURANT WITH NO WATER. overall it was meh

Ashley V.

Yelp
Finally came out to Church Hill to see what the hype's all about and it did not miss. I gotta first give a shoutout to their social media presence--if you haven't been to their IG or read their online menu please go for a good laugh. Not sure how else to put it, but Cobra Burger is one of the most "Richmond" places I ever been. They've got so much love, warmth, and are so unapologetically themselves--I love it! Anyways, as far as their food goes, it's everything everyone has been saying. I went for their Cobra burger with one patty and it was delicious. Now when they called them smashed burgers, they were not kidding. That burger patty was paper thin and with all the crispy edges. If you're ever on the fence on whether to get one or two patties, just get two. I opted for the salt and vinegar fries and they were amazing--perfectly seasoned and with the right amount of tang. The prices are a little on the higher end, but note that these are high quality burgers made by high quality people. I'm not mad at all. Definitely looking forward to trying them out again for breakfast! That wake' n shake sandwich is calling my name! :)

Sheila K.

Yelp
I was in the neighborhood and remembered my friend telling me about this place. They don't have a huge selection of alcohol, but their burgers are phenomenal! I asked the bartender to surprise me with a burger and my goodness, It was so good. Don't know the name since I just asked the bartender to surprise me. It's kind of loud, so not really ideal for first dates, but I'm not complaining. I love the vibe and energy! Finally, the bartender that assisted me, dope vibe. Didn't get their name, but Super fine, great energy, easy to talk to, and just the energy, perfect. Make sure to come by especially when this bartender is working and give that bartender all your money!!

Brandon E.

Yelp
Best burgers in Virginia, tried most others from Richmond, Virginia Beach to the famous Omni hotel 54 dollar burger. All ingredients are top notch and always the best experience.

Carson S.

Yelp
Best smashburgers in Richmond. It's a burger joint...aka a casual spot. Some people expect this to be something other than a delicious burger shop. What else do you need to know? Yes, theres a metal vibe. Yes, it's dark. Yes, seating is limited. Who cares? Burgers and fries. Dank. Eat it.

Lori E.

Yelp
The burgers and fries are amazing. This is fun little, laid back joint to have a great meal in Churchill.

Stephanie P.

Yelp
Carne asada fries were so good and drinks were nice and strong. The ambiance was nice and the gory horror film playing in the background made the experience all the better and kept me entertained since I dined alone. :)

Kendall C.

Yelp
Came here because one of my brother's friends was very interested in coming. Got there right as they opened on Saturday at noon, which was a good choice because apparently they are pretty popular and there was soon a line out the door. Inside seating is minimal so if you want to dine in plan ahead. Overall I think it might have a little more hype than it is worth. I am a vegetarian so I got their vegan burger and it was pretty good, definitely a unique type of patty that it seems like they make in house, but a bit of a weird texture compared to other meat substitutes. My husband tried to get a cocktail but apparently they do not make cocktails... which is strange for a place with a bar. It is definitely a place that has a very one-of-a-kind feel, but almost like they are trying too hard to have that. Others in my group really enjoyed their (meat) burgers. They also don't do substitutions on their burgers so that is unfortunate.

Aleigh H.

Yelp
Really enjoyed the burgers from there. We went today after watching 101 places to party before you die (try tv). We had the ACAB and the kids burgers. Fantastic!! My kids loved them and they are super picky. I even tried the Mimosa and it was delicious. Definitely would go back.

James W.

Yelp
Lives up to the hype for me. Smashburger style is my favorite and Cobra gets it right. There are plenty of specialty burger toppings but I'm into simplicity with burgers so I go for the classic Cobra. The patties have perfect crispy edges all around, you get shredded lettuce and burger sauce, great quality pickles, and I like that the whole thing is oversized for the soft potato bun. The burger sauce is on the runnier side, so you might prefer to ask for the sauce on the side, but I just plan to feel a little messy. I'm a big fan of the atmosphere, which is divey, progressive, and no frills. I'll keep coming back because this is definitely in my top two burgers in the city (other is Joe's Inn btw). The only real knock here is it is price, as it is around 10 dollars just for the burger (and extra if you want double/triple patty), fries are separate. Just something to be aware of, not going to keep me away. What to order: the Cobra Burger of course

Yelp
Underwhelming. I just moved into the neighborhood, a couple blocks away, and thought I'd try it since the reviews are so great. I ordered the Clawdette, and some fries. The fries were barely more than a handful and they were cold & soggy. The burger looked like your average single-patty from McDonald's- no lettuce, tomato, nor onion. Perhaps I missed the where you order those things separately on the website. That could've been my fault. The service was great though, even during take-out. Maybe the food dining in, is better. Worth a second shot since everyone seems to love them.

Yelp
Took my family there today the girl at the front counter was a combination of weird(acting) and kind of unhelpful it was our first time. My wiffe asked about lettuce for our burgers it's was like a foreign object unavailable. Not impressed burgers where okay not great. As a 25yr Business owner and a decorated that front counter can make or break an experience. A Smile and being able to explain your menu without making people feel uncomfortable should be priority number one! Read I edited wierd to Acting weird just Bad customer service not wanting to be helpful (Mr Owner). And after looking at the reviews. As I expected the owner response is trying to sound intelligent but is still somewhat belittling it speaks volume why the service is uncomfortable. Not a solution. It explains our experience and the other customers concerns. If most of your bad reviews seem to be centered around customer service in a service oriented business. Everyone is not making this stuff up. It's scary. The owner missed the whole point.

Yelp
Was fortunate to try this place on a recent visit. If you dont like a funky dive bar with metal music you might not like this place. You're better off getting you food to go. The place itself wasn't very clean when we arrived. I respect a place that doesn't do any substitutions as it shows they're confident in their serving. The burger and fries I would say are in my top 5 ever. The drawback was everyone at the table mentioned the burger was too salty. I love salt but it was highly over salted. The fries were amazing with the vinegar added. What sucked was we all got tiny pieces, no long ones. Like the tiny pieces that fall into the bottom of the fryer. It was messy having to pick up tiny pieces of fries to dip in the delicious Cobra sauce. That aside it was still that good. You do however pay a premium which I feel is over priced for the quantity of meat in the burger and the amount of fries. If you like a good greasy burger n delicious fries def check this place out.

Yelp
Got takeout from here recently and was blown away with the burgers and fries. The burger was flavorful, well cooked, delicious, and juicy. The pickle flavored fries and ranch were plentiful and crispy. I don't think you can order by phone or web, I could be mistaken as I didn't place the order. My companions enjoyed their food so much that after we ate they went back again for more burgers and fries. Will definitely return.

Yelp
This was incredibly overpriced for an oversalted burger. Fries were ok but oil bled through bag by the time I got home. I ordered for pickup and the staff seemed very bothered that I was there and inhospitable. I wanted to like this since it was a local spot but I wouldn't go again.

Yelp
This was one of the best burgers that I've ever had! Everyone in our group of four said the same thing. I had the zMSG Burger with the sea salt and vinegar fries. Intried the salt and pepper fries and will have those next time. The atmosphere was very interesting with a heavy metal motif. The pricing was very fair. The restaurant is very small with only a few tables and seating at the bar.

Yelp
I saw a shirt there that said "come hungry, leave greasy" and felt that it was pretty accurate (in a good way!). The burgers and fries were delicious and music appropriate for the theme they had going. Music might have been a tad loud for the kids, but they weren't complaining. Will be back for more.

Yelp
Excellent burger! We have been twice now and the food is consistently delicious. The cobra fries are my favorite. I know the place doesn't look like much but it it worth it!
