My husband and I had a chance dinner here one night because it was one of few restaurants that had seats available on a busy tourist night.
Inside, the restaurant is divided into two parts. One side has the bar, fireplace, and a lodge-like feel. The other side (which I only happened to pass by while wandering around in search of the restrooms) has a more modern feel. We sat at the bar, where they serve the full menu (a blessing on those nights when there's an hour-long wait for tables and you just want food).
In my opinion, the food was all right. I ordered the Palermo rigatoni, with grilled chicken, pasta ,and 3-hour onions in a blush sauce. What sounded impressive on the menu turned out to be a simple chicken vodka pasta dish, with a slightly disappointing serving size (especially for the cost). On the other hand, my husband went with a standard seeming order of a burger and fries (or a 'Bull Burger,' as they call it here). With a distinctive charred flavor, a seeded bun, and well-crisped fries, I fell in love with the bites I stole from his plate and secretly wished I'd ordered it instead.
Service was great. The bartender that served us was an absolute machine - endlessly churning out drinks, taking orders, and passing plates - all with a friendly smile.
