The Best Restaurants in the Irish Channel | Eater New Orleans

"Fans of bulgogi and banchan were thrilled to see Coco Korea BBQ open at the end of March, taking over what was Little Korea since 2016. The menu includes traditional grilled meats along with less familiar dishes like bokkeum jjamppong, a stir-fried spicy seafood noodle dish and savory oxtail stew." - Eater Staff

The food was good but I felt it could have been better. Maybe if we go back we'll cook our own. The wings were way too spicy, rice cakes were a little too sweet but good, short ribs tough but flavor good, idk... come try for yourself lol

Danial Allen

Google
Food is ok, nothing stands out particularly. Got the bibimbap, bossam, and kids got the katsu. Bibimbap was ok, little on the oily side Bossam was good but it's not very traditionally Korean style Katsu was fried pretty well kids enjoyed this dish Service was really good probably the most memorable thing on our visit her It was nice to visit but probably won't come again

Google
The spicy rice cake was so good, it wasn't too spicy but just the right amount of spice. I had fried rice with egg and it was really good. But my favorite was the spicy BBQ chicken wings, it was soo good. It was sweet and spicy, it was like the sauce was candied and put on the chicken. It was crunchy and hot, 100% recommend. My mother loved the oxtail too! It was falling off the bone. The waiter was really nice. Lovely atmosphere

Elin chen

Google
It was not a pleasant experience. The seafood pancake was spoiled. The waiter took it to the kitchen and came out to ask wanted to make it again or cancel it. Their attitude was like this was normal. No apology. This is also the first Korean restaurant I have eaten in that charges for refill banchan. The spicy rice cakes were too sweet. This is a must-order dish when I eat Korean food. I always take it away, but I didn‘t want it this time

Google
Decided to treat myself to an absolute feast for my birthday. The rice cakes are exactly what I needed, so delicious. Next time I’ll try it with cheese instead of egg, the egg was good I think I just assumed it would be a softer boiled egg. The kimbap was a great price during lunch, also very tasty.

This place is a vibe. Best food I had for a 2 day trip. Didn't do my own cooking, had the kitchen staff do that part and it was amazing. I fully recommend this place but couple of things first before you go. The wait time for food if the kitchen is cooking is long. Like so long I thought they forgot about us but then again we were hungry. The smell in the air makes you hungry as soon as u walk in. Second very affordable, they had a party when I was there so was a bit noisy but that food made up for all the negative things that happened all day. Just writing this post makes me feel like taking a weekend trip again. I will definitely be back.

Google
Quaint KBBQ spot. The food is great and the service excellent. I did feel like the price is a bit high on the meats, though. We did the baked corn cheese ($9) and a SoonDooBoo JjiGae soup ($15) add pork to start, both full of flavor. We only did two meats - spicy bulgogi and garlic pork belly ($21 each). The bulgogi was great, I liked the pork belly but would've liked more garlic flavor. Great spot for a date or meeting up with friends/colleagues; they also have a bar. I would go back.

Google
To be honest, I did not expect much of authenticity in NOLA. I’ve seen countless mediocre Korean restaurants in many small and large cities in different states. I’ve tried other so called Korean restaurants in the different parts of NOLA. But to my great surprise, this place has done it well. I’m a Korean foodie who’s always in a search for a good cuisine. And I did not expect Little Korea BBQ to remotely even come close to Korean restaurants found in cities like Dallas, Houston, or Atlanta. But they surely provided and option for self grilling environment as well as excellent kitchen menus that were not attempts of Korean dishes. Many of the dishes that we have order had the authentic flavor. Not all, however, are considered the best that I’ve had, but it was good enough. When I asked to be spicy, it was spicy enough. Side dishes were authentic and replenished free of charge as it should be. So, there is my approval stamp💮. If this restaurant was in highly populated oriental Asian area, it may have receive 3 stars for few of less than good dishes (such as yaki udon). But for being where it is, I must give 5 stars for pioneering 정신.

Yelp
Just arrived in New Orleans! It's breezy, a little humid & I love it. I'm starving, and of course, my first stop has to be Korean food I'm such a Korean. I decided to try Coco Korean BBQ on Magazine Street. The moment we stepped inside, I had a bit of an uh-oh moment the interior felt pretty dull and a little depressing. The service was decent, though. They served six side dishes, but they were just okay really cold, like they had just come straight from the fridge. We ordered kimchi stew and kalbi, which were good, but the rest of was just so so. Maybe I'm spoiled by the amazing Korean food in the Silicon Valley, but overall, it was just decent. Sorry, Coco Korean BBQ just not quite hitting the spot!

Yelp
Walked past the restaurant while exploring Magazine St and then doubled back for dinner. We had just gotten happy hour elsewhere so we weren't super hungry but still ended up ordering a lot for variety. For two people, we got the kimchi pancake, bulgogi, and jjajjangmyun or black bean noodles. Side dishes are also varied and most tasted really good. Just personal preference prevented me from enjoying the celery dish. Refills of course. I really craving some fresh vegetables and kimchi. Service was good and food came out pretty quick. The kimchi pancake was big and crispy and bulgogi had some japchae/glass noodles in it which was a nice surprise. The bulgogi came out sizzling. The black bean noodle tasted a little different to what I'm used to but was still good and we dumped our rice in the sauce after. The restaurant is set up for BBQ with the grill at your table if you're interested in trying Korean BBQ. The menu has a lot of legit Korean dishes so I definitely recommend trying everything if you want a good idea or Korean cuisine.

Yelp
Foods were better than expected. The soup was well seasoned and came out steaming hot. The creamy udon with chicken was mediocre. The chicken was dry despite soaked in the creamy sauce. Service was friendly and quick. The dinning room seems clean.

Yelp
We loved it. The sort ribs were amazing. The place was cute. The servers were all very polite and on their game even though they said there had been a family emergency and they were short staffed. Everything was very authentic, and their kimchi was delicious (and I am a bit of a kimchi snob - I like REAL kimchi). No negatives at all. Check the place out.

Yelp
Great option for Korean bbq. The chicken was marinated perfectly and the pork belly was delicious. They don't have any shrimp or seafood option for the grill but they do offer a seafood pancake that satisfies the pescatarian option. Also a really big fan of their fried chicken wings. It's fairly difficult to mess up a Korean bbq place, but they get all the extra stars for service and chill atmosphere.
google avatar

Yelp
If you are looking for authentic korean food, this is not the place for you! Very disappointed, great service but food is not that great. We visit this place very often before, it looks like after they've change their name, they changed the seasoning too. Lots of dishes are overly sweetened, some gets bitter easily when cooking on the grill. Some just taste so weird. Will not come back again.

Yelp
So in the past I was dine in here when it was known as Little Korea, and I didn't have a good experience. So I when I heard it reopen under a new name Coco, I decided to give it a second chance. We got Spicy Rice Cakes with Ramen, Kimchi Jjigae, Bibibap and Spicy Fried Chicken. We like the Rice Cakes and Bibibap a lot, flavorful and in a good portions. I wish the Rice Cake could be spicier since I'm the person like spicy food. The Spicy Fried Chicken is in good portion but for us the spicy sauce pretty oily and giving Chinese taste more than Korean. The Kimchi Jjigae was so disappointed, for the price of the Kimchi Jjigae it sadly did not lift up to its expectation. The taste of it doesn't taste familiar to the Kimchi Jjigae I'm used to eating as other Korean restaurants. One more slight detail that they charge you $5 extra for refill extra banchan (side dishes) which many cases the majority of many Korean restaurants do not charge you for extra banchan. No complain from the service side, my waitress was helpful and attentive.

Yelp
To start with the service; I am tremendously grateful for them seating a party of eight. I can imagine that assisting so many people can be a lot, and they did it pretty smoothly, save for a few hiccups, but those were all quickly resolved. I LOVE the food here. It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants ever. I typically share a meal with whoever I come with and I love getting beef bulgogi, vegetable bibimbap and Tteokbokki (the best one I've ever tasted. The only place that comes close is surprisingly Trader Joes). The food is plenty and VERY filling. You will not regret giving this restaurant your time of day and money! Can't wait to go back :)

Ben C.

Yelp
I stopped in for lunch after seeing their sign on the sidewalk and glad I did! The service was top notch. The host answered all my questions very kindly. The food was superb. The chef actually took time to make sure the dish accommodated my diet. This was one of the best Korean BBQ spots I've ever been to! The service was also exceptionally fast. Very impressive spot.

Yelp
Korean BBQ on the corner of Philip and Magazine, next to the boutique Peony. Front area is the BBQ section. We ordered the tteokbokki with no add-ons (ramen or cheese), soondubu jjigae with mushrooms, kimchi and rice cake as add-ons ($1.50 for each add-on)and a spicy BBQ chicken. $50.69. The banchans: kimchi, spicy garlic stems, fish cake, bean sprouts, cabbage in soybean paste, pickled onion, radish and jalapeños. The garlic stems, jalapeño/onion/radish and bean sprouts are my favorite. The tteokbokki is nicely seasoned and has a deep gochujang red to it, it's got some good heat, but the rice cakes are too soft and overcooked, not quite mushy, but not chewy enough. The spicy BBQ chicken has a good flavor profile, a sweetness, BBQ and Smokey flavoring all in one, it's different but good. Meat is tender too. The tofu soup is okay, more peppery than I am used to here. Flavor is decent still, just not as I would prefer it, it's not as spicy as I like either. I only found 5 rice cakes and they are super thin too. I have never seen them so thin in my whole life. I dread the add-on costs for the kimchi and the rice, as they are both rather sparse in the soup. The spicy bbq chicken and the banchans are all good here. Skip the tteokbokki. Try the tofu soup, knowing it will taste different than usual. Tax is high here in Louisiana, it's 10.2%.

Yelp
What can I say that hasn't already been said. This place is magical, from the delicious kimchi fried rice to the crispy BBQ chicken. I've been here a hundred times but I'm always pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the quick + friendly customer service. They also have some of the tastiest kimchi you can find down in NOLA, making them my go-to restaurant when I need my Korean food fix.
google avatar

Kirt T.

Yelp
Never thought it was possible to have flavorless Korean food. They've mastered it. No Go Coco!
google avatar

Anya F.

Yelp
Overall I liked the vibe inside! Very fun and lively :-) I was a little disappointed by the tteoboki though, as it was a little hard. The pork in the tofu stew also was not super great, good spice tho.
google avatar

Huyen N.

Yelp
Street parking. Eight table top grills with two grills per table, where you may end up sitting at the same table as another party if you're a small party too. If that made any sense..There are a few regular tables available too where you don't grill your own proteins. Of course the grill tables will require a longer wait time, so be ready for a wait if you don't have reservations. Actually, I'm not even sure if they offer reservations. Food were mediocre. The meat marinades are ok, not the best but probably better than other Korean restaurants in New Orleans. It is on the higher end of cost too. We had the KFC wings and seafood pancake for appetizers and I wasn't a fan of either. The sauce on the wings were too sweet and the pancake was too salty. I'd pass on those. Banchans were also given as standards, also ok tasting. Grill tables can get smokey even with the extender. Service is a hit or miss.

Yelp
TLDR: Food was good, wait was long as hell. Bring a snack. Would I go again: Yes. It was my saving grace in NOLA Food: we got the hot stone bibimbap and kimchi jigae. Both were exceptional. Disclaimer to all, the jigae is very spicy, but delicious. Service: really friendly but very slow. Ambiance: cool vibe. Nice spot in NOLA
google avatar

Cierra L.

Yelp
I only had an order of the honey garlic wings and they were sooo good. I was in a rush and I had to grab something quick. I can't wait to dine and really try this place and update this review.
google avatar

Khloe I.

Yelp
I been here before it changed into new ownership and new name and I got to say the dishes are really top notch! The staff is friendly and the place can get hot with and steamy with the korean BBQ, be sure to bring something to wipe all the sweat from your face when ur eating the delicious meat and satisfying soups!
google avatar

Lauren V.

Yelp
So so so nice, but not nearly as good as last Korean restaurant who owned the space. Quality was lesser, meat for grilling wasn't as fresh and felt like it needed sauce after cooked which shouldn't be the case, and they charge extra for a second round of Banchan though we bought three pricey meats to grill. Haven't been charged at literally all other Korean bbq places we frequent for any extra banchan. I wish them well but was too expensive, low value and doesn't stand up to the others or the last place.
google avatar

Karl V.

Yelp
Yummmmm! Randomly popped into this cute storefront for lunch. The $13 lunch special bento we both had were fantastic! The spicy pork ribs were so sweet & juicy and literally falling off the bone tender...with a little kick! My marinated pork shoulder ( Jaeyook) was tender and spicy too! Such a deal. Attentive service and the owner even popped out to check in. What a great deal for lunch!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic new restaurant in the beautiful Garden District. The Volcano Kimchi Fried Rice was amazing but so was all our food!
google avatar

Steven P.

Yelp
Straight disgusting...don't get their Korean sushi...it's just tuna salad out of a can, churched up in a seaweed wrap...place is low quality
google avatar

Shelby Z.

Yelp
We were originally going to come here for Korean corn dogs, but sadly found out they weren't currently selling them. But after spending a week eating nothing but Cajun food, we decided to check it out to eat something different during our vacation. Plus, it felt like a breath of fresh air spending some time away from the French Quarter, and allowed us to explore Magazine Street! This place = chef's kiss. And we didn't even actually have their BBQ. Everything from the service to the food was fantastic, and I'm still dreaming about the kimchi fried rice that I ordered! Little Korea BBQ is awesome. If I get the chance to come back, I would love to sit at one of the BBQ tables next time.

Yu H.

Yelp
Everything we got tasted great! Grilled plate has less sauce but has sophisticated great flavor. Stir fry plate is the classic Korean meat plate, spicy great taste.
google avatar

Jakia N.

Yelp
I like to take my nieces and nephews all out once a month and they choose the type of food they want to try and I choose the restaurant. They wanted to try Korean bbq so I decided to give this place a try. Upon arrival the host was meh. But our server was great. She was really attentive and personable. We ordered some marinated pork and some spicy beef to cook on the grill. We also ordered the cheesy ribs , fried rice, and kimchi rice volcano. Everything was amazing. I'm still thinking about those ribs. The kids really enjoyed themselves too.

Ben K.

Yelp
Cute spot! Hostess was funky and super sweet and was working hard on NY Day! We opted for a non grill table and over ate! Server was super sweet and they were super busy at 2pm but the food and service were on point. Please open one in Biloxi!
google avatar

Alex N.

Yelp
Was craving Korean food so decided to take a visit here. We got brisket and pork belly for kbbq and the kimchi fried rice. The kimchi fried rice came with beef which we didn't know. The meat quality was good. Service was great. Place was clean and neat. I'd come back.

Yelp
My daughter loves this place. However KPop stole her from me and her roots. I haven't experienced it yet. If she could she would eat here three times a week. It should be called Little Korea Not your type of BBQ My daughter told me it wasn't BBQ it was Grilled meats but not BBQ. If you confused good I was confused also. Lol
google avatar

Tom K.

Yelp
Decent food, ok atmosphere. Not really my style of place. Had a very uneven experience here. Perfunctory service by the waitstaff and host. My entree arrived about 10 minutes before my appetizer, and to make matters worse, my fiancé who was starving, still did not have her soup (which was her entree) until about 20 full minutes after I had mine. To their credit, they offered to comp a couple things but the damage was already done. One other note; they sat us at possibly their worst table in the house. When I asked if we could get a different table, they refused under the guise that they needed that table for a larger party, then sat 2 people at it. Very disappointed overall.
google avatar

Don T.

Yelp
We have never tried Korean BBQ until now. The server was fantastic and they were following all COVID protocols. We were seated immediately. The server offered us the option of cooking the food for ourselves or having the chef cook for us. We chose the latter. We started with pan sautéed pork dumplings and they were so good. We ordered 3 entrees so that we could get a wide variety of the menu. My favorite entree was the BBQ Beef Shortribs. They were sweet and savory with a light crust. The other 2 entrees were the pork belly and a spicy cold noodle entree. They were good too. The chef does spice so well. We will return.
google avatar

C L.

Yelp
My first restaurant in Nola. Pretty decent and there was no wait when I went at 1 pm. I had the grilled pork belly and tofu soup. I mean it wasn't the best Korean food but it's decent enough. Service was amazing and they gave us some free keychains . They probably knew we were not from around the area lol. I'd definitely return.
google avatar

Shebba S.

Yelp
I am a Korean BBQ fanatic, and this place was nothing shorter than scrumptious. The establishment had enough seating for the crowd, and the place was clean. The price was fair and was a bit lower than other Korean places I've tried. Parking was fast, easy, and convenient during the time that we went (Saturday 5pm). They have a great selection of meats and a La Carte items that made finding something for kids much easier. I will definitely visit this spot again for my Korean BBQ fix.
google avatar

Kristen N.

Yelp
I always drive by here and had the preconception that it would be overpriced for what it is and to pay for the premium magazine street rent. I usually love a good AYCE, but decided to give this a try since this is much closer to me than driving to Metarie, and am glad I did! You can sit at a table with a grill, or they have tables without grills where you can order anything cooked in the kitchen. Every single one of their sides was tasty. Ordered fried rice, miso pork belly and beef bulgogi, and would order everything again. As far as quantity, I left content, not disgustingly full like when I leave AYCE. Splitting two meats and a fried rice between two people, we paid less than to comparable price as AYCE, had left over fried rice to take home, and felt like we got high quality meat- no chewy fat or tendon, everything was very tender and flavorful. I'll come back here for sure.

Yelp
Ironically we were craving Korean food while being in the City known for Cajun and seafood. We found Little Korea BBQ on Yelp and immediately went for it. We arrived right when they opened so it was not crowded. The service was good and they were very attentive. I tried the black bean noodles and they were great. The portion was huge so it is worth the price. If you want to try something other then seafood in New Orleans, come here
google avatar

Camly T.

Yelp
#yelplove I stopped by Little Korea for takeout They had their full menu available for takeout. It was an easy experience. There was hand sanitizer and you could insert/swipe your own credit card. Staff was great as always and provided a safe experience. Now the food was delicious! Our favorite was the spicy rice cake and ramen noodles. Perfect spice level. The garlic samgyupsal (garlic pork belly) was delicious as well. Our order came with a soup and small sides which we didn't expect but was wonderful. I don't know why Korean BBQ will look like in the future but we should keep supporting our local restaurants!
google avatar

Ellery D.

Yelp
I used to live only 4 blocks from Little Korea and would walk past it every night, my mouth watering at the aromas that emanated. Never tried it till recently because I had checked out the menu and never seen a veggie option. Turns out I was wrong. I tried the veggie bibimbop as take-out and everything was delicious! The egg on top was cooked perfectly and all the little pickled sides were so fun to try. Favorites were the cabbage and bean sprouts, and the fried tofu of course. The sauce that comes with it is smoky, spicy, sweet, and savory all at once... totally unique and a perfect topping for the rice. The prices are mid-range to high--15 pre tax for my meal--but I'd say it is definitely worth a try if you enjoy Asian cuisine. I'm sure I'll go back at some point. Would be fun to dine in.

Yelp
It feels weird giving this place 3 stars as I had a nice time with tasty food. However, anyone that has gone to a korean bbq place will understand, this place is simply not worth it. The meats are nothing special and are just on par with every other kbbq place. Mind you, they are still very very tasty, but all kbbq meats are. This place gives you almost no banchan (side dishes) which normally are plentiful at any korean spot. Soju is crazy expensive here, a lot more than other places. The worst thing about this place are the prices. I can pay 21 dollars anywhere else for a seat at an all you can eat kbbq with the same quality meat this place had. Instead, here I paid 21 dollars for a singular plate of brisket. A measly 10-15 paper thin pieces of it. I have gotten more of this brisket when ordering at an all you can eat kbbq place for much much cheaper. I would not recommend anyone to go here. The kbbq spot in Metairie is much better. This place is still delicious, they just seem very skimpy with the free stuff and are very expensive. A single meat costs the same as a seat at an all you can eat kbbq for the SAME quality meat. I do not think anyone should go here.
google avatar

Vince P.

Yelp
Is it the best KBBQ? Honestly no; Do they have some good food? for sure. It's a great place to get some different combinations of Korean food that other KBBQ doesn't have. They have the Korean Cheese Corn Dogs some days but they have this delicious Gghan Poong Shrimp on a fried bed of crispy rice paper (bed isn't a great word but look at the picture & you'll see why). They have a very unique vacuum/vent system that reminds you of the Teletubbies Vacuum! @Phidingthefam
google avatar

Lucy G.

Yelp
The Corn Cheese dish is divine. I would come here and just eat that. This place is pretty decent for Korean bbq but it's not all-you-can eat and it's quite pricey. We got the garlic pork belly and the Gal Bi and I've definitely had better at other kbbq places in Nola. The marinade was a bit off. But the appetizers here are definitely A+. Highly recommend the Honey bbq chicken and the corn cheese. Overall, good experience for Korean bbq, great staff, and a great ambiance.
google avatar

Russell A.

Yelp
This place is good and worth a try! If you have tried Korean BBQ in the past in other areas of the United States and are looking to compare, I think it's best to leave your biases at the door. There aren't many places in New Orleans that do Korean BBQ, and this place is able to give you your fix. It's not all you can eat, but you can get the usual KBBQ items. If you are going to grill, you have to order a minimum of two meat platters. My friend and I got the Spicy Pork Belly and the Brisket. The porky belly wasn't spicy but was super flavorful. The brisket is always my favorite to get. Both were good. We also tried the seafood scallion pancake and that was delicious. This place isn't that big but luckily we came at a time where we didn't wait to be seated. The staff are super friendly and attentive. I would come here again!
google avatar

Kayla S.

Yelp
We enjoyed everything we ordered!!! Staff was super friendly. It wasn't too busy when we arrived and were seated right away. I ordered the Yaki Udon with chicken and unfortunately it didn't come out with chicken. The waitress was super apologetic and offered to bring out the chicken separately but I declined. Still giving 5 stars because it was delicious.
google avatar

Rachel D.

Yelp
We stumbled across this place when walking up and down Magazine Street. We could smell the amazing aroma from the road as we passed and had to turn around and come back to eat here! The lunch specials are affordable and delicious. We had two items off the lunch menu, the Dolsot Bibimbap Bulgogi and the Bulgogi Lunch Platter. Both were fresh and flavorful! They were also super filling! We were stuffed and satisfied. Fantastic little gem of a place.

Sabrin H.

Yelp
I'm going to give this place 4 stars bc the food was actually great. Meat was very tender and had good flavor. The sides were also good. Very Flavorful. But the price is $21 for bone out ribs/ bagoggi. Other places you pay under $30 and it's all you can eat. Other than that the food was good, service was great. And the place itself is clean and well kept together. Here is half the menu for the bbq
google avatar

Marielle S.

Yelp
A Korean restaurant might not be your first thought when you think of barbecue, but You should definitely pay this spot a visit. Little Korea BBQ has a menu with barbecue faves like BBQ chicken, pork belly and beef short ribs. They even have the option of grilling your own food at your table, if you feel like having a culinary adventure. If you'd rather let the kitchen do the cooking, that's an option as well. I had the Garlic Samgyupsal ($17) - Garlic pork belly that was delicious and tender and served with white rice and sautéed vegetables. I also got a side of the Baked Corn Cheese ($8) which is sweet corn covered in a thick layer of mozzarella cheese and baked; it comes out sizzling and it's a combination that you wouldn't expect to work, but totally does! I made a list of best hidden BBQ for Very Local New Orleans and this l restaurant was on it! Read it here: https://nola.verylocal.com/bbq-new-orleans/228292/

Yelp
It's been a few years since I've come back here and a lot has changed. So many new dishes added to their menu and I'm all about it! Appetizers: We got the baked cheese corn and honey garlic wings. Both were so flavorful and a crowd favorite. Tip: Wrap the wings in the cheese! You won't regret it! Entrees: My coworker was a little hesitant to try the Kimchi fried rice because kimchi is known for packing such a distinct pungent punch but she was delightfully surprised. Packs a little spice but the cheese helps tone it down a little. We also tried the seafood ran-dom which was decent. Sauce was delicious but I wish they had a little more seafood and potatoes in the dish. Overall would definitely go again.
google avatar

Carolyn T.

Yelp
I really liked this place, but they don't have potato salad as part of their bonchon. They do have the fish cake though. The kimchi fried rice was really good. I would say it's one of the best kimchi fried rice I've ever had. The sunny side up egg was perfectly cooked and runny! Tammy was our waitress and she was really sweet and accommodating despite it being an hour until closing. She even refilled our waters when we were done eating. The food didn't take too long to come out either! I think you would be better off cooking your own meat at the grills because you get less meat if you order it already cooked.

Yelp
Excellent spicy bulgogi. We were recommended the garlic pork belly but I would say it wasn't fabulous. Next time I would do the spicy or miso flavored pork belly. Delicious sides (bonus points for really good seaweed salad-- Japanese wakame is one of my favorite things and this was a surprise!) and the soju drinks are dangerous. Their seafood pancake was light on the seafood but not on the flavor. We had fun and engaging waitstaff and enjoyed talking to our table mates. Overall it was such a fun outing. Crazy that I want to pay to cook my own food. Just a note: if you want to do BBQ you will be sat at a table with other people. Just a heads up in case you were planning some serious discussions.

Yelp
My mom and I wanted to grab something to eat just before our flight and was surprised to come across this affordable yet authentic korean place. The meal came with banchan (small sides) which were all delicious and sets the place aside as a trye korean restaraunt. The black bean noodles and vegetable bibimbap were both great. Server was very attentive, quick, and helpful. We were able to take the rest of the bibimbap to go since we had to catch a flight but would love to come again when we have more time!

Yelp
I had such an incredible experience here and the food was amazing. First off, drinks! I got the plum soju (highly recommend!!). My friends ordered the yuzu lemon drop and yogurt sojutini and they were both so good as well! We had a party of four. We split the tteokbokki, mandoo and jja jang myun. For the grill we got the dak galbi (marinated chicken), gochugang dwaeji bulgogi (spicy pork), pork belly and bulgogi. I seriously enjoyed everything I ate but if I had to pick recommendations they'd be the tteokbokki, chicken and spicy pork! The selection of banchan was also tasty. They don't take reservations, all of the tables are first come first serve. You can pick between a regular table or a grill table! We got lucky on a Saturday night and there was no wait. There was a good amount of parties but the restaurant is pretty spacious. Our server was incredibly friendly and even helped us with our order to accommodate allergies. If you're looking for Korean BBQ in New Orleans this is it!!! Can't wait for next time.

Yelp
First time there. Great service and delicious new foods to try. It paired well with the booze. Next time will try my hand at grilling my own meat. Hopefully bring a party with me. I enjoyed the music and atmosphere the restaurant had.
