Cocobeet | Government Center

The Cocobeet across from Boston’s Government Center was the perfect breakfast place to shelter in the warmth from the November cold while eating a warm oatmeal bowl. The manager/owner was quite friendly and happy to modify my meal. They use steel-cut oats—several levels above the rolled oats many other similar establishments default to. With a variety of add-ins to choose from, the ingredients tasted fresh and servings were generous. I would love to return to try some of the other items on the menu!

A nice little healthy place to grab a bite to eat. Drinks are around $10, and bowls are around $16. The food tastes good so I would recommend coming here. On all of their juices in the fridge they point out that it all unpasteurized.

Loved the food here. I ordered a Umami bowl to go and it was packed with flavor. Especially for vegans, we often end up eating the same things because they are the easy vegan things. This place really puts thought into their food. Would absolutely come back if I lived here!

Good Acai. Not great. Too much Acai base and not enough fruit and granola. The fruit and the granola are really good (and gluten free), but you’re left with a large portion of melting Acai base and no toppings after just a few bites. Need to add lots more topping options. Also, nowhere inside to really eat. There are mini tables that are as short as the seats themselves.

My kids were greeted with smiles and devoured their açaí bowl and waffles with pure delight (which, let’s be honest, is its own small miracle). Outside, there’s a sweet little plaza where children can run and play while you enjoy your meal, and leafy park benches across the street perfect for relaxing under the trees. It’s the kind of place where you can pause, reconnect with what feels good, and leave feeling a little more nourished—in every way. Highly recommended for families, solo travelers, and anyone looking for food that lifts you up from the inside out.

Ordered Chia pudding and quinoa sliders via uber eats. Both dishes are yummy! The dishes were packed nicely to prevent any leakage.

Cocobeet is a great place for juices and smoothies. Recently I went and tried the waffles. They were absolutely perfect. Crisp on the outside, pillowy inside and slightly sweet covered in fresh fruit. It felt like an absolute treat

Umami bowl is the best vegan thing I ever had. Very tasty. The whole manu is perfect for us Orthodox Christians in fasting period. 🙏🏽

I've doordashed this place two times now. The first time I enjoyed it. Flavor was good and I appreciated that they added a side of chili flakes for the avocado toast. However, there weren't many berries and the bananas tasted like they weren't ripe. Not sure if it was a transit issue, but the second time I ordered the oasis bowl it came looking like a wreck. Tbh I don't care how it looks, as long as it taste good(which it does) but the inconsistency in portioning is insane. The granola which had chunks of dates in it the first time, now had none. There was 1 sliver of strawberry and hardly any banana. I spent $2 for sun butter and got a very small amount. Overall disappointing and I don't think I will order again.

We came here a couple of times during our stay in Boston and the first time we came we purchased a green smoothie and a warm oatmeal bowl. The next time we had a beet smoothie and a warm quinoa bowl. The warm oatmeal bowl was delicious had the perfect balance of fruit, toppings, and oatmeal. However, the warm quinoa bowl was not very good. They gave me a side of oatmilk but the quinoa barely had any flavor. I would not recommend it. The smoothies and the oatmeal bowl were both good though. This place is a bit on the pricy side but it does offer healthy food and juices.

I'm a sucker for a good smoothie bowl, and Cocobeet has a GOOD smoothie bowl. Not only is their establishment conveniently located within walking distance of my hotel in Boston, their food options are entirely plant based and without processed sugar, which is right up my alley. Upon entering the gentleman manning front of house greeted me warmly and offered to answer any questions. I ordered the Blue Oasis bowl - peach, banana pineapple, algae, maple and coconut base topped with banana, strawberries, blueberries, toasted coconut flakes, and date almond crumble. This. Is. Glorious - delightfully fruity with excellent textural components. The following morning I enthusiastically devoured the vanilla berry chia pudding, a beautiful combination of cashews, dates, chia seeds, and citrus topped with a berry compote. My only two pieces of constructive criticism: 1. Price. After tip I paid $17.50 for the smoothie bowl alone, which is steep for an on-the-go breakfast. 2. Nutrition information: I wish they had it. They explained that since they often tweak and adjust recipes it's difficult to maintain accurate nutrition information, which is understandable, but if you don't reach for the moon you'll never get anything. Summary: Cocobeet = very yes.

Such delicious smoothie bowls and fast, friendly service. We got the green energy and blue oasis bowls, and both were fresh, filling, and the perfect level of sweet but not too sweet. I recommend the blue oasis bowl if you prefer a sweeter taste and the green energy bowl if you prefer a slightly more sour taste. Disappointed that they left the hemp seeds off our green bowl (which we didn't notice until later since we got takeout), but would give this place another chance and check my order next time.

I heard so many good things about this place and everything stands true. I went on a friday morning at around 8.15 am and saw that many items were already sold out! The staff was super nice, not too many seats to dine in, its more of a to-go only kind of place. I decided to get a chocolate protein bowl, its supposed to have many clean ingredients- cacao oranges, berries, protein, banana, toasted coconut sunflower milk etc. I am so impressed by it! It was so delicious everything was perfect about that bowl except the price. I paid almost 18$ for this bowl which i feel is way too high but you have to pay a price for good quality now.

On a really hot day, I needed something refreshing, so I came to Cocobeet. They have fresh, cold-pressed juices and smoothies, etc. I got the Green Monkey but didn't love that their smoothies really come only as bowls. They can make the smoothies as regular cup drinks but all the toppings they come with won't be enjoyed which you are paying for. Given that there is limited seating and the inconvenience of eating a smoothie bowl, I wish they also have their own section of good regular smoothie cup drink options. Maybe it's because I'm not a huge thick smoothie bowl fan, I thought the smoothie bowl was overkill since it was almost impossible for me to finish it. Also the smoothie bowl is especially cold and very homogenous in flavor even with all the toppings. Regular smoothies are much easier to take on-the-go and can be consumed faster. I like the concept, but to me it doesn't give good bang for the buck. It would be nice to have a couple tables inside too, but maybe they're trying to make a disincentive to sitting in.

Went for the açai bowl, but it was not available. Got the green energy bowl and the Warm quinoa protein bowl. Loved the green power bowl, the warm quinoa was OK. Wish the quinoa the sunflower seed milk had some sweetness.

On January 12, 2025, I bought an avocado maitaki mashroom toast at cocobeet. After I ate it, I started having diarrhea and vomiting for more than 5 times. I almost fainted. Therefore, I decided to go to my university's health center, they said that I had food poisoning/ stomach bug from the avocado toast I ate. When I go to the cocobeet store to request for a refund, they said I may have allergies or food sensitivity to sesame oil, which I have never had a single food allergy while growing up, therefore I eat everything. Since I am the only person getting a reaction to the avocado toast, I cannot get a refund. Which means to them, one person's voice does not worth being heard or taken into action. Due to what happened to me. I do NOT recommend anyone going to cocobeet for getting food. DO NOT buy anything from cocobeet. Please be mindful of what you are putting inside your body. Cocobeet is the spot for awesome smoothie bowls, perfect for when you're on the move. No seating, but trust me, these bowls are delicious and packed with healthy goodness. They've got acai, pitaya, and more, all topped with fresh fruits and granola. And if you're not in the mood for a smoothie bowl, they've got rice and veggie bowls that hit the spot. The ambiance is super cute and chic. Give it a try when you need a quick, healthy fix! It's really good to eat before a workout too!

The oatmeal was good, and I got one of their milks which was also good. The service was quick. My only real complaint is that I paid $29 for what you see in this photo. I understand the price of things has gone up, but milk and oatmeal still shouldn't be $29.

Breakfast time is kind of hard finding healthy food and plant based items. Cocobeet has you covered as well as for lunch. It has those bowls filled with puréed superfruits like açaí, goji, and those kinds of berries that are full of flavor and nutrition. Expensive for sure but also guaranteed to be good. They also have juices, salads, and soups. I like the bowls at breakfast. Lots of stuff put into these that give you the energy to get up and go. They have a lot of bowls and they're not all made with an açaí base either like most. A lot of common ingredients like bananas. The bowls are pretty expensive, which is the only bad thing. It's about $12.95 for most bowls. The best one here is the Blue Oasis. It of course is colored blue. The color comes from blue green algae, which is supposedly good for you. It packs a lot of nutrition in here. The purée is made with bananas, blue green algae, coconut, coconut milk, maple, peaches, and pineapples. This is topped with bananas, berries, coconut flakes, and a date almond crumble giving it some more texture. It's expensive for a bowl but it took a long time to eat. This is because it was packed with a lot. Good healthy items. It has even more at lunch. The Mediterranean bowl is among my favorites of these.

Best organic cold pressed juices hands down ; Variety of choices - I needed low glycemic green juice and I found it here ;everything is clean and organized ,now and then I make my way downtown despite the traffic and the parking situation (hard to park in the vicinity) Kudos

Can be slow but well worth it. Such satisfying and yummy food. I got the oats and smoothie bowl and had to get some kale chips to go and didn't regret.

Delicious and healthy feeling breakfast this morning, I chose the "Chocolate Protein" and enjoyed it at my desk. A decent sized portion of an assortment of goodies. I know there were berries and banana and pecans and coconut in there. No idea what else, but it was delicious. Not cheap but very, very good.

This is a great place. It's simple grab and go with some made to order things. The food is delicious and fresh. I have had a lot of açaí bowls and this place has very good ones. Super fresh and not too sweet. There homemade granola on top is good too. I will definitely be coming back here if i come to Boston.

Love this place! The chia pudding is delicious, & just tried the royal basil smoothie today- so fresh and flavorful. Lots of good options. They're pre-made juices in bottles and mini bottles, fyi.

This place was such a great find! The mushroom avocado toast was so flavorful and delicious. The green monkey smoothie was refreshing and tasty. The staff were friendly. I will be back to this vegan friendly place!

My sister & I both had the ceasar salad. Very good, and we were both surprised at how filling it was! We also got their vegan sea salt caramel little dessert. I really like the inside and was hoping there would be a place to dine in, but it's not an issue. Would love to go back and try their juice, but I have a hard time justifying paying $10 a bottle. Expect to spend some money here. The cashier was very friendly and even recommended the dessert we got. I don't travel into Boston very often but I would consider going here again & recommend it to others!

I'd been wanting to try out some of Boston's juice options and we finally were in the area to try cocobeet. It's a small shop just big enough to pick up a drink, clean & nice design. They are happy to help answer questions. I was kind of bummed that none of their drinks are made to order. All the juices and smoothies are prepackaged and refrigerated waiting for you to be selected. Your selection is based on what's available at the moment. We had the shake the tree which has banana and coconut water... it was really yummy. For $10 though I would want a drink the size of a Venti honestly. Curious to see how cocobeet compares to other juice places.

I went in to grab a smoothie bowl on a not-so busy Saturday. Cute little spot near north station, definitely a to-go place, seemed like a lot of healthy pre packaged and freshly made food. Smoothie bowl tasted yummy and was satisfying, though doesn't seem like a standout item.

Cocobeet has the best and I mean the best Kale Chips you will ever have. They are expensive here and I understand organic food and juices can be expensive but I'd love to see them a $1 or $2 cheaper on their items. I'm pretty sure I've spent $7 on a super small soup but I'm not going to lie that soup I had was AH-mazing. I wish some of their food was made fresh vs having it pre made (such as their sandwiches and salads) that are kept in a refrigerator. Boston has been so far behind the times of having healthy and organic options that we appreciate you Cocobeet for getting things started in the area!

Cocobeet is a small juice/health bar place in the business district area. The store itself is pretty small, no seating outside or inside...just a counter to order and fridges with the juice and takeout food. My friend and I shared the pitaya bowl which was refreshing, but tasted very heavily of sunbutter. I would highly recommend asking for the sunbutter on the side. Besides that it was great, although a bit on the pricey side (one bowl was about $14).

Raw bites are pretty good "healthy" / all natural treat but I had a smoothie that I thought sounded appetizing (all ingredients I would consume separately) but blended together all I tasted was too much agave or dates which rounded out to a blended maple syrup taste to me - bleh. Packaging and overall store is very appealing though but also doesn't justify the price - both of these items together were $10-12 if I recall.

The protein bowl was packed with a lot of good stuff and tasted pretty good but daaaamn it was pricey! I added granola and it came to $16! I guess that's typical for these types of places. I paid the same for a similar Açaí bowl at another place in Boston recently. Not worth it in my opinion.

Wonderful little spot for fresh, vegan breakfasts and snacks on the go. I found this place while on vacation, and it became my morning go-to.

We order the açaí bowl and quinoa oatmeal. The açaí was one of the best I've had. It was thick, sweet, and kept me full! The oatmeal was not the best, but when asked if we could get more sun butter it went to another level! I would definitely say this was a great breakfast!

First time here - they have a pretty large selection of pre-made smoothies, some salads, and other small things to eat. They also have things to order like bowls and such. I got the lentil Burger salad which was pretty good and a smoothie. It was a bit on the pricey side (I think it came to around $25-ish dollars together) but I was looking for "health food"... which unfortunately is expensive anywhere you go for that. I really like that they have quite the selection of things to choose from here!

The açaí bowls here are just okay. I've had way better ones but the smoothies are amazing! You go in and grab a bottle from the fridges.. there's so many kinds! I would pass on the acai bowls.. not worth the $12.

Wonderful healthy food/juice shop. Cocobeet differentiates itself from other juice shops because it has food as well--which I consider a huge plus. They have everything the health nut wants from acai bowls to avocado toast to overnight oats. I recently came after my run, and the staff was incredibly welcoming, offering samples and suggestions. I decided on the Acai bowl--a great choice for a hot day. It was both good in size and filling. Will definitely be back!

There's so much bad unhealthy food in this tourist trap area, that I was so grateful to find Cocobeet. They have fresh pressed juices, including single shots. Service at the counter was very friendly and the bowls are all made fresh. I had a blue coconut bowl and it was unusual, but nourishing and tasty. There is not much seating but the place is clean and very modern.

I'm going to edit my review bases on Onur's response. Apparently I was not aware of the products they use and the cost of them. Don't get me wrong, the food/beverages here ARE delicious. I just don't picture myself coming here regularly due to prices of the products. Anyone considering coming here should not be turned off by my review. I have increased to another star because it is yummy, just the price is a little high, for me. Original review: Ordered the green bowl and cacao bowl. Both were good. Also had the turmeric mylk and another nut milk. They were both delicious but over priced. The profit margins here are a little ridiculous. You can buy the ingredients and make the same nut milk beverages for 1-2$, in fact I did this yesterday and it was fantastic. This place will not survive with these prices.

Hands down the BEST vegan/smoothie/fresh fruit spot in Boston. The flavor profile is immaculate and everything was handles with care. Also the freshest ingredients I've gotten while in Boston. 10/10 would recommend.

As someone who strives to eat nutritious, mostly plant-based food, I absolutely love Cocobeet. Everything here is plant based, gluten free, and almost everything is made in-house and organic. I'm obsessed with the chocolate nut-milk smoothie and the vanilla nut-milk smoothie. They basically taste like ice-cream but are made with super healthy ingredients. The chia pudding, chickpea salad sandwich and acai bowls are also delicious standouts. The acai bowls feature their house-made granola. The prices are high but reflective of the high quality, healthy ingredients and thoughtful flavor combinations, so I'm more than happy to pay and support them. Also the staff are incredibly welcoming and friendly!

Was craving a smoothie after lunch and ended up at Cocobeet. Definitely very, veryyy healthy emphasizing their organic, GMO-free, raw vegan food, etc. I was hoping to order a smoothie to be made on the spot, but all their smoothies and juices are already prepared (daily) so you just go to the fridges and choose your poison. I love the packaging that displays all the ingredients and benefits, and while this is definitely catered towards people looking for a juice cleanse, I thoroughly enjoyed my juice selection! I was able to sample some options I was narrowing down which was very helpful. I got the Peruvian Sun that had orange, carrot, apple, lemon, lime, and maca and it was refreshing and delicious. I even saved half to have later in the day because it was surprisingly a little filling, but they recommend that you finish the juice same day. A little on the pricier side, you're paying for the high quality ingredients that go into the drinks. Checking out their website, you can order online to save time for pick up, and get more specific information about how they make their juices, power boosts, and smoothies.

came in here jonesing for sustenance, starving to the bone, hangry as a lion with no antelope. requested the blue acai bowl and the umami bowl, and was very pleased with the efficient service. the umami bowl is a must the quinoa balls had literal crack in them and somehow was one of the best things I have ever shoved into my pie hole. smoothie bowl was vibrant and pretty and the chewy dates on top was incredible.

Wanted to love this place but after my visit this morning I'm pretty disappointed. Went in because I wanted to pick up some juice and an açaí bowl for breakfast while I waited for the blue line to come into government center. Ended up picking up juice and ordered ONE waffle. The one man in front of me received his order and was on his way pretty quickly. 15 minutes go by. During this 15 minutes, no one else comes into the shop-- but I still haven't received the waffle. I asked the cashier to just check on my order-- the waffle wasn't even made yet. I asked her how long it would take. "Maybe about 15 minutes." Told her I didn't have enough time to wait, she offered me something else they had made or a refund, which was nice of her, but wouldn't have been necessary if the waffle was just made in the first place. Eventually, she took my name down pretty rudely and hastily, though, and just told me to come back another time for free waffles as I was telling her the blue line was coming and the next one wouldn't come for some time because it was Sunday. Not really sure why it took 15 minutes for anyone to notice I was just hanging out in the store + realized I had no food. Now I will be late to an important appointment I have out in Eastie and won't have food for some time.... at least the juice is somewhat redeemable.

Cocobeet is next level. I have waited to write any sort of review until I went to it multiple times because acai/fruit/healthy places can sometimes be hit or miss with the delivery, especially when doing quick pick up orders. I digress though because every single time it has been amazing. The acai bowls. The juices. The treats are delicious. And the waffles!! I couldn't recommend this place more!

Great little healthy spot right by the government center T station with easy grab and go options like falafel salad, sliders, chickpea curry sandwiches, juices and smoothies. 100% vegan with much on the menu also being organic, raw, and gluten free. Their cashew "cheese" is amazing as well as their açaí bowls, grain bowls, and avocado toasts. I ordered the avocado mushroom toast and raw raspberry coconut "yogurt" for dessert. The sautéd mushrooms were smoky and savory tasting a bit like bacon and paired with a generous amount of avocado, fresh cherry tomatoes, arugula, and a dash of hot pepper flakes (the whole being entirely delicious). I felt I had more energy too after the antioxidant packed raspberry coconut yogurt which was more of a sweet and tart sorbet. **Yelp lists their store hours incorrectly though, they close at 7pm most days.

I've been coming here often lately for a late morning snack. The bowls here are really good, the ingredients feel really fresh. I just wish açaí bowls weren't so expensive! Each bowl runs you about $12-14. It is yummy though.

Love, love, love this plant-based place! I visited Boston last week and was on a mission to try as many of the vegan-friendly eateries the city has to offer. And Cocobeet was first on my list. Excellent customer service, the staff created an inviting atmosphere. I went a little overboard in my excitement, but I was glad I did. Zucchini Basil Pesto Pasta: tangy, creamy, perfect portion to accompany a salad Curried Chickpea Salad: rich, but still light, and a little zesty Key Lime Pie: tart and smooth, the perfect little dessert to satisfy your sweet tooth Vanilla Berry Chia Pudding: THE BEST chia pudding I have ever had. I could eat a tub of this stuff every day! Vanilla Power Mylk: So rich and satisfying, this hit the spot!

Cocobeet is a fantastic place! It's healthy and delicious! I went there twice in 3 days in Boston, it was yummy! I wish we had it in Chicago.

I am a huge smoothie bowl gal, and Cocobeet has been one of my favorite places that I have discovered in Boston. They have an amazing açai bowl and an amazing pitaya bowl, and they also have a ton of freshly pressed juices, superfood salads, energy bites, and avocado toast. This is a super easy grab and go lunch or breakfast, and the food is so picture-worthy because of all of the bright colors and aesthetics to each of the dishes. I have never had bad service at this place, and I would say it's fairly reasonably price for a smoothie bowl place, which can sometimes get on the more expensive side. I'm sure they don't compare to the smoothie bowls in a place like California, but the quality for being a smoothie bowl place in New England is fantastic!
