"Coeur is lowkey the spot for an excellent burger in Ferndale. The 7-ounce pub-style burger is made with Stonefall Farm wagyu beef and is stacked with Mongers’ Provisions cheese, remoulade, lettuce, and pickles on a fresh burger bun. Coeur also rotates new burger ideas, available on Thursdays, experimenting with different styles like a lamb smash burger with Kasseri cheese, cleverly titled the “Saganaki Smash.” Know before you go: Dress to impress, at least your date. "Coeur, translating to “heart” in French, is located in the heart of the city. Chef Jordan Smith puts out a French-ish, New American menu, along with a five-course tasting menu for $89. The desserts, created by pastry chef Carla Spicuzzi, are inspired by favorite childhood flavors. The choco taco and milk and cookies have appeared more than once.
