The drip coffee changes but is usually very floral and bright if that is what you prefer. It can get crowded during the week for table space as a lot of people stay for longer periods of time. There are not many pastry options but an excellent bagel shop next door.

Super friendly staff & great environment! I got an iced chai tea latte and it is really good. It’s about half as sweet as that of starbucks and a bit more spicy. They were quick and has a cute outdoor seating area.

The coffee is great and the pastries are pretty yummy. I enjoy coming here BUT a couple of the guys pump the music up when they come on shift. So loud that you have to yell your order to the staff. One time the owner/manager was in the cafe having a meeting. The music was reasonable, but as soon as he left -- BAM! It was back to being at the SoFi Stadium.

The coffee might be good but the staff is just not happy to be working here. The barista didn't even attempt to pour the milk he just dropped the espresso onto the milk with the most dissatisfying face to be working here. I do not wish to come back to a place where the staff is miserable and overworked.

Pretty good stuff, didn't except that. The vegetarian Burrito was bomb, truly (and we are not even vegetarians)! The coffee was good, though was not freshly brewed (I ordered a simple black coffee), the.Mocha was better. We enjoyed our time here!! Would come again!

Nice spot with indoor and lots of outdoor seating. This place isn't as busy as other coffee places I've been to. Even during coffee rush hour there were seats available. Plenty of outlets however the internet was ok -- tested 5mb down and 2mb up.

Absolutely nailed the almond milk latte (and the heart shape - which is pretty hard to do!) 💛👌🏼 And my boyfriend's cappuccino (made with milk) was fantastic, too. Best coffee I've had since I've gotten back from Melbourne, Australia. This place is a go-to for all coffee snobs.

I stumbled upon this coffee place. Friendly barista today, 1-1-25, who explained menu options and prices. a favorite triple shot with a little splash of cream! Nice seating, including an outdoor area. Bags of coffee and merchandise available. Always nice to have gifts on hand to give at the last minute. Fun pink-colored bags. Good drink! Thanks!

Came here Saturday morning and saw breakfast food truck right outside, part of Coffee Commissary. Their drinks and pastries are a tad overpriced but otherwise, solid spot. They have some interesting options on the menu such as orange creamsicle drink. The place is kept clean and several seats, reminiscent of an old school classroom with those chairs.

Great breakfast burritos from the food truck outside. The food truck is only around on certain days so just be mindful of that. I got the veggie burrito which had super crispy potatoes and slightly runny sunny side up eggs. Super good & great with a side of hot sauce.

Good coffee, good baked goods. My iced Americano was nice and the onion scone was wonderfully soft and fresh. The patio seating is lovely except you have to listen to the traffic noise. It is what it is. Parking is still rough but the street and neighborhood parking seems to turnover fairly quickly.

This place looked good online however it was a bit lackluster for me. I got a simple iced vanilla latte which came out to be sickly sweet, tasting strongly of syrupy sweetness. For the price it should've been the best coffee. Minimal seating indoors but there have a decent patio with seating on the street, however it was extremely busy and slightly difficult to get a table around 11 am. There's residential parking around the area if you're okay with walking a block or two. Wouldn't really come back here for a coffee.

decent americano but location changed, took 15 minutes to find it on the street outside of the beverly center, they don't answer their phones, they instruct you to send an email, ridiculous. no wonder it was empty. employee was very gracious and agreed. manager not doing their job. google maps, yelp all have the wrong location. took escalators up to 7th floor, took elevators down to garage, no signage providing walking directions, probably won't be back.

This is a must-stop whenever I am in the area. Their cubano is sublime. (I prefer it hot over cold.) They've got a nice selection of bakery items, including a few revolving items which often prove quite pleasing. Nice vibe, pleasant feel, great staff. And a nice shaded seating area out front. There's usually plenty of space to sit there unless the Commissary Truck is out front. Then it's packed. Street parking, so sometimes timing is everything.

Coffee Commissary's decor is such a vibe, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place as a study or chill spot unless you bring your noise-cancelling headphones. They were playing what sounded like video game instrumentals a little too loud to hold conversations comfortably. I ordered a steamed oatmilk earl grey tea with honey, and they delivered with relatively quick service. The tea itself was good, though it tasted more like an English blend and wasn't as hot as I would typically like. I didn't bother asking why the difference, but the tea was yummy.

This is a pretty cute coffee shop with a nice atmosphere, there are a few tables to sit inside and a nice outdoor patio area with seating as well. There is only street parking but it wasn't that hard to find on a Saturday morning. I got the matcha latte with oat milk which was $7, and honestly it was one of the most mediocre matchas I've had in a while. It tasted very watered down and felt very overpriced for the drink, which was a bit disappointing after reading many good reviews about it. But maybe I just have a really particular preference when it comes to matcha. My friend got the vanilla bean frozen latte which was also $7, but was definitely more worth it in my opinion. Her drink was really creamy and delicious. Perhaps Coffee Commissary is more renowned for their coffee!

I've heard a lot about Coffee Commissary and I was excited to try it out. There seasonal lavender iota latte looked very appealing so I ordered it along with the vanilla iced latte and I was impressed! The drink was perfectly smooth, the coffee didn't taste bitter and it wasn't overwhelmingly sweet either. The coffee shop itself has a theme of pops of hot pink which I loved! They also sell some goodies in a case and accessories like mugs and shirts. I would definitely come back if this place was closer to my house! Please come to Pasadena!

My vibe was totally killed by one of the baristas here, i'm not exaggerating when I say it was the most laughably straight up mean & rude service i've ever received .. anywhere. I made my order & was greeted with an almost spiteful attitude.. Loved the aesthetics of the cup and everything! I really liked the hot pink straw that goes with their design too. There seems to be their own food truck right outside of the coffee shop, so make sure to check that out too! It doesn't seem too busy, so I guess that's a good sign that you can easily just grab and go your food items too. I ordered today's special of the month, which is their Lavender Latte! I don't often get floral drinks, but that just sounded pretty good that day, so I was curious to try. When I took my first sip, it was almost a bit overwhelmingly floral? It was nice at first, but as you drink it, it just tastes pretty sweet. I also wished they put more ice in the drink cause my drink easily got lukewarm after a 10 minute walk. Also, my bf ordered a "premium cold brew". I asked him if it tasted more "premium", he said it just tasted like regular cold brew tbh lol. Overall, it seems like the drinks were just okay? The aesthetics were pretty nice and appealing, but the drinks are not too much to fancy over. This place also turns up their music, so it's not really an ideal place to do work and study here, unless you bring your own headphones and such.

I came here specifically to buy a chocolate chip cookie because the cravings were real and I ended up buying a latte as well. Overall I was pretty pleased. Coffee shop is located on the 6th floor of the Beverly Center and right outside the ordering area there are plenty of tables and you can get a nice view of Beverly Hills. The shop is super cute. It's pink themed. My cookie was warmed up and tasted delicious. It was also quite big. I cut it in half and the chocolate was soft and melty. Also very pleased with the latte I ordered, it paired well with the cookie I got. I'd come back for sure when I'm at the mall again.

I actually had such a good drink from here (it was a special it seems--the mint julep). Would buy again, 100%. And it makes me hopeful for their regular drinks. Especially since a ton of people were here grabbing coffee as well. That's promising. The avo toast I had was just ok, it was way more arugula than avo in my opinion haha. And not that that's bad, but I've just had better avocado toast at other places. Still a solid spot. A good chunk of seating options and great parking availability too! The workers were also very nice. It was a beautiful day when I went.

Coffee Commissary is located in the Beverly Center on the 6th Floor. I was in the area one morning with another person and we made our way to this small shop at the mall. We ordered an Iced Vanilla Latte, Chocolate Chip Cookie, Morning Buns, and a regular hot Coffee (I don't remember the flavor she got). Their iced vanilla latte was smooth and perfect for a summer morning. I had the chocolate chip cookie and it was one of the best cookies I had in a while. My favorite was the shared dining space with the large window. It overlooks the street below and the Sofitel across the street. Overall, I enjoyed my time in LA having an iced coffee with a lovely view of the mountains (and the hotel, lol).

Only 4 stars because they forgot my order, but I understand and it's ok because there were a rush of people who ordered and I think they just forgot about me.. because I went to hangout with my friends on the side. Commissary did not disappoint! I held my craving for coffee over an hour drive to LA. I found Coffee Commissary on Yelp, and saw the 700+ reviews so had to come out and try it. I ordered an Iced Cubano ($5.50). I normally order my coffee with Breve, but decided to go with whole milk for the Cubano. It had a similar taste to a Spanish Latte. They have their food truck outside as well. I ordered their breakfast burrito ($12). Everything was all reasonably priced. You can't go wrong with the coffee nor food

They have a small outside seating area share with some sort of Japanese place next to it. Okay this pains me to drop the star rating this low.. But I have an urgent Commissary food truck update. It turns out the one 'vegan' dish on menu isn't really. I ate the avocado toast a couple of days again (having been told it can be made vegan with oil instead of butter) and I'm now v annoyed to discover their (tasty) homemade boule bread ISN'T actually vegan - it has eggs in it. So there are 0 vegan options on a very full menu of meat/eggs etc. This is the second restaurant that has miss-sold me a vegan dish in the 3 days of January - a month I'm supposed to be 100% plant based for. It's lucky I'm doing this for eco/ethical/ issues- not food intolerances. This is LA - restaurant owners it's not OK to it feed vegans & to tell us something is plant-based- for your convenience/profit- when it actually isn't. PS the coffee is 5 star and I'm hoping this updated review will lead to a rethink & proper vegan options ASAP!!

New location for me. The coffee is always amazing at every location. That's what keeps me coming back and checking out different locations. Its hard to find an establishment that gets it right at all their locations. I get my usual iced vanilla latte with whole milk and easy ice. Always so refreshing. The espresso shaken with their secret vanilla syrup is amazing. I think the fact that they shake their drinks helps really blend all the flavors so your first sip isn't straight vanilla. Parking is a bit difficult, but with patience something usually comes up or you can always park up the street and take a stroll. They have a small outdoor patio area where you can chill or get some work done.

I love Coffee Commissary. Some of the best coffee in LA. I always grab an iced Cubano. I highly recommend it if you need some major caffeine but you also like sweet + cinnamon. The Melrose/Fairfax location is awesome. Lots of outdoor space to sit, and there's a cute Commissary food truck parked outside (it's pink!). Baristas are very nice. Parking is available in the structure behind the shop and there's also street parking.

Coffee Commissary is a chain of coffee shops located in the LA area. I've had their coffee from multiple locations and to be quite honest, its not the most consistent. I muse say the Fairfax location is definitely one of the better ones. I've realized that the quality differs depending on where you are and I enjoy this location the most. As usual -- I always for for my latte w/regular milk and i would rate it a solid 7/10. LA is a hot spot for coffee shops and its difficult market to compete in but I guess if you are not the most critical coffee fanatic, anything would work. However, if you are truly in it for the taste and quality of the beans, you would 100% care where you put your money, which is how I judge the quality of what I am drinking. However, if you're comparing this to a Starbucks or Coffee Bean -- this would be an obvious step-up and you will definitely enjoy!

My husband and I are always on the hunt for new coffee spots. Yes, it's an addiction. What can I say? We love coffee! We were out and about on Fairfax and decided to stop by. I got an iced vanilla latte with oat milk. It's so delicious! I highly recommend it! They had some nibbles and seating. I loved the pink decor!

Tbh, I was expecting way more of Commissary since I hear the name a lot. Coffee: my bf and I had the same oat milk latte and it was average. Not amazing, not bad. Vegan banana bread: taste is good but they only serve it cold. Staff: ok, it was a Sunday afternoon. I get it that might not be the best day to be working, but if you are, please at least pretend you like what you do. Not even a smile or "how are you" was asked.
