Best Restaurants in Sedona, Arizona | Eater Vegas

Diner Coffee May Be Terrible, But Sometimes Nothing Else Will Do - Eater SF

"On a spring afternoon in Sedona, Arizona, the Coffee Pot Restaurant is somehow as busy as many diners would hope to be during the morning rush. Servers in bright red T-shirts and aprons chat beneath southwestern motifs and rockscape paintings. Hiking through Red Rock State Park just outside of town can really sap your energy. So while there are vortexes that might refill that void, a damn fine cup of coffee also does the job. But for all the health-focused marketing throughout the touristy town, Sedona hosts more places to get your aura photo taken than cafes with transparently sourced, fairly purchased coffee. So, Coffee Pot’s $3.75 cup of coffee will have to do. No, it isn’t good for the planet. Or, most likely, for workers. But when there’s nothing much better around, and when the nostalgia hits, a cup of jet-black, bitter diner coffee remains an affordable, bottomless delight." - Paolo Bicchieri

Google
Very nice local eatery in Sedona. I was especially pleased with the flavor of the food I ordered. I was also pleasantly pleased that they served a pitcher of cold filtered lemon water at the table. The chicken tacos plate special of the day was very tasty! It took a few minutes to get my server to the table. And that was the only issue I had with my visit. I'm guessing this was due to how busy this establishment is.. other than that, the server was excellent and service was great!

They really know how to take care of you here and keep the conversation cheerful as well. Jenn was our server and she was a blast. If you like a soft, sublime Belgian waffle unlike any other, then get this one here for sure. Plenty of melted butter and syrup and soft as a sponge cake. Absolutely decadent. They give you a carafe of coffee at your table as well. Both of the omelettes that we had were very tasty. They have a huge selection of omelettes (50+) as well. Everything was fresh and the conversation was great along with the food. Please treat them well and enjoy!!!

The staff and atmosphere was so welcoming. The food was delicious. We like diner style breakfast so this was right up our alley. They even had a cute gift shop to check out. We knew we were on to something choosing this place because the entire weekend we were there it was packed!!! We had to park in an adjacent lot. Will be returning for sure.

Google
The perfect breakfast spot! Whether you build your own omelette or order one off the menu, you will definitely not be disappointed. The chicken fried steak is cooked to perfection and very addicting.

Google
This place is epic. Service from counter to end of meal is really good, atmosphere and artwork is very fitting for an all American breakfast diner experience. My partner and I had omelettes and they were tasty and filling.

Google
Excellent breakfast and lunch place. We loved the atmosphere and our servers. Come early if you want to sit on the outside patio. The huevos rancheros with chorizo and the buckwheat waffles were my favorites. The biscuits were more like day old dinner rolls.

Google
First time here for their breakfast. We ordered their omelette and Mexican breakfast. Everything tasted delicious. We enjoyed sitting at the backyard. Beautiful setting with water fountain. Great serving and friendly staffs

Yelp
My god this place is spectacular! I was visiting Sedona and were looking for a good breakfast place. When I searched the coffee pot came up. They boast about having 101 omelets and they really do! I ordered the salsa omelet with egg whites. It doesn't indicate that it has cheese but it does, cheddar cheese and let me tell you it was sooo good! The portion size is large and well worth the value. The grits are plain which i love so you can flavor them how you like! This place is a definite must stop when you're in Sedona. I ordered take out because as you can imagine it is packed with a wait!

Yelp
This is a local restaurant with reasonable prices by Sedona standards. We received waters and coffee right away from one server, and then it took a bit for a different server to take our order. The food arrived in a timely manner after ordering. With their 101 omelettes on the menu, I wasn't sure I'd be able to find anything plant-based / vegan, but I had a few options to choose from. If you're vegetarian, there are lots of choices. I had the home fries - I'd call them breakfast potatoes, and sautéed veggies. I asked that those veggies included mushrooms, zucchini, and spinach. Additionally there was a generous amount of veggies including broccoli, peppers, carrots, and onions. I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious simple sautéed veggies were! All the veggies were cooked perfectly crisp-tender and very fresh. The potatoes were tasty too, except I had a couple that were less than fully cooked and a few that were so overcooked and burned they were beyond recognition and impossible to eat. However, the majority of the skin-on potatoes were really good. My husband enjoyed his omelette. The biscuit that came with my husband's meal looked more like a cross between a piece of bread and cake - more yellow than white and not the same texture as the southern biscuits were used to in Tennessee, but it was served with honey and butter and my husband really liked it a lot. The coffee was good too!

Yelp
So nice, we went twice, and if we lived in the area we'd be regulars- Chosen because I was intrigued by their massive menu-boasting many green chili options-, I instantly fell in love with the charming ambiance; and my love grew and grew throughout our dining experience... We arrived right at 6am opening, and were told we could pick anywhere to sit-since we were the first ones there :) They had all the tables prepped with plastic drinking glasses, silverware, upside down coffee cups, and full condiments baskets. Ordering coffee, we were so happy they left the carafe right on the table for us to freeingly refill. The waitress was a blast, her happy demeanor, and amazingly fun puns, had us wide awake laughing- giving a warm pleasant vibe to the visit. Their menu is massive- there are repetitive aspects, but they lay out a plethora of choices (no substitutions-since there are so many alternative options- but they did allow add-ins at cost) side note- I loved the homey feeling of the menu- as the folded paper had the full Coffee Pot historical story on the back- a great read! First visit, we ordered the two eggs scrambled with chorizo, add in green chili-grits & a biscuit- and- #82 chorizo cheese omelette, hashbrowns, and biscuit. Second visit, I ordered the two eggs scrambled with chorizo, add in green chili again- couldn't resist, and my husband #89 ground beef, onions, peppers, hash browns, and a biscuit. The food came out fast, hot, fresh, and flavorful! All the eggs were LOADED with ingredients- very definitive flavor profiles, bold green chili, melt in mouth chorizo, hearty veggies, and the hash browns were nicely crispy, grits wonderfully buttery- the biscuits, they do not appear like traditional circle biscuits- they reminded me of thick pieces of cornbread squares, but they were delectably flaky buttery soft when I bit in- This is an absolute must-stop location- Ambiance was cozy, staff was welcoming, choices are ample, prices are super reasonable, food was spot-on- I heard they can get super busy, and on our second visit we saw a morning rush coming in after we finished- but they have ample staff & a seemingly fantastic routine down- (they also have a wall of signed celebrities photos who passed through the area & enjoyed their meals as well)

Yelp
Ham, avocado and cheese omelette was my order and my brother had some french toast. Overall I rate the Coffee Pot Restaurant a solid five stars. The waitress that attended us was very friendly, our food was very good, fun atmosphere, huge menu, affordable prices and the restaurant is located in the beautiful city of Sedona.

Yelp
This is where to get breakfast in Sedona. They've got a huge menu with literally 100 different types of omelettes, and every kind of breakfast imaginable. It's usually very busy on weekends and holidays so make sure you get there early as there is no reservations and it is first come first serve. That said they are a high volume operation and even if they are pretty busy things move along quickly. Service is prompt and efficient. They definitely have a system for handling the crowds. They also give you an entire pot of coffee and an entire carafe of water for the table so you don't need to constantly ask for refills. They've got plenty of condiments on the table as well. The food itself is super tasty and will really hit the spot before going out on whatever adventure you have planned for Sedona that day. I would personally recommend the chicken fried steak. Their home fries are also pretty good so choose that instead of hashbrowns. Five stars easily.

Yelp
A quick 10 mins wait for our breakfast on a Sunday after a hike with my 2 friends! Menu is HUGE! Took me a minute to study it and find what I wanted to eat. Coffee was fresh! Our waitress was super friendly and helpful with this huge menu. Cute gift shop while you wait for the table.

Yelp
Service and food were awesome! Their menu consisted of 101 omelette choices!!! We shared an avocado, cheese & bacon omelette and it was perfect! The hash browns were perfectly cooked, crunchy on the outside! They had an amazing looking biscuit but we already ordered whole wheat toast. The server was good, nice and attentive. This was recommended by someone local and the place was buzzing with a lot of local people!!! A definite must try!

Yelp
We have been here in past years and this was the easiest. Got a parking spot and we were seated right away. Food was fantastic as I'm a breakfast nut anyway. Everything was hot cook to perfection and tasted even better than that. Always a great place for breakfast in Sedona

Yelp
Excellent breakfast spot. Walked in on a Saturday morning at 10 am and sat down. Great meal and friendly staff. Must stop if you're in town.

Yelp
Great classic breakfast joint! Service is friendly, incredibly fast and efficient. We really appreciated water and coffee pitchers delivered immediately.

Yelp
Tony Bourdaine said " Go where the locals eat if you really want a great meal!" This is that spot ! Home of the 102 Omelettes! Yep thats correct and a whole slew of other great dishes! This is the First Time that a server told me " careful, this plate is hot!" That it actually was, I have Chef fingers so it has to be hot for me to feel it! It was and also fricken delicious! Service is down home great as is expected in a place like this. Everything is made in house and it's clear they use an extra dose of "Love"!!!!

Yelp
Family breakfast on our way down to Phoenix, I found this place via a Yelp search. Home of 101 omelettes, and that's no joke, this was a great independent breakfast and lunch spot right off 89 going straight through Sedona. For a late Monday morning, the place wasn't packed, but when we pulled out it definitely was the start of their lunch rush hour. I ordered the #32 omelette - added bacon, homes fries as my side; passed on the grain option. For a table of six, our food came out really fast and hot, and it was delish! Personal preference, I would have loved the home fries to be a bit softer (more cooked), but not a dealbreaker. Besides, my omelette was really tasty. Prices are great for the portion sizes and the food was solid. Staying in Sedona or just passing through, a great recommendation, and you keep your money local.

Yelp
This is a nice place. It even has a nice little shop. Attach to it so you have something to do during your wait for a table. Which could be anywhere between twenty and thirty minutes. This place is very crowded and loud. The food was Surprisingly, good.

Yelp
We had read Great reviews on this place. Unfortunately, for us this was not the case. Host: Upon entering, he was very nice and friendly and told us to find seating indoors or outdoor it was up to us and this is fine. Hostess: Speaking for myself the service was the worst. The waitress came and took our order I told her I wanted Hot Water as I had my own Coffee, the busboy came and bought the hot water. Food: The food came and then we never ever saw the waitress again, perhaps they don't check on their guest since the Coffee Carafe is on the table and accessible. Never came by and checked on our food, of if we needed any other items like most attentive Servers. We've been on vacation in Grand Canyon, Williams AZ. Now here in Sedona, it's the worst service ever! Compared to Hudson, Mesa Grill. Food was okay but its definitely nothing to rave about. I've had much better Omelettes in Silicon Valley, CA. Cashier: I went to pay our bill, and I reviewed the bill and questioned this charge which wasn't identifiable. I inquired she said you had Tea, I said I didn't order Tea, but I did have hot water. She immediately was defensive and very rude with her response stating it's not a big deal I will take it off. I then asked her about Cash, she immediately said no. This was a communication break down as I needed to break a $10 bill for the tip. Reflecting back, I shouldn't have left a tip as a tip is Earned not Deserved. She thought I was asking for Cash Back on my Credit Card charge, this lady doesn't know how to communicate. If someone doesn't understand don't assume ask for clarification. Utensils - This is just me but when I picked up my fork my response to my husband this place uses "Cheap" silverware its so light and flimsy. I am not used to it, but that's just me and my preference. To the majority out there they probably do not notice or care. All in all a very bad experience for us. Everyone has choices where to dine and spend their money. Sadly we wasted our time and money. We did dine for lunch and Breakfast at Mesa Grill voted "Best of the Best" Best Breakfast. Their Service, Lunch, Food was awesome. Save your money, time and dine here. Unfortunately, they're so good its best to make reservations. This was just our experience, plus we are Seniors and Asians not sure if it has anything to do with anything. I just read a 1 Star review from a Mexican family they were treated rudely as well, there seems to be a common problem here, if your ethnicity is other than Caucasian, I would say flashing Yellow "Caution" Light. Their food is mediocre compared to local places where I dine at home. Again, we are all different and have different taste buds. However, their lack of customer service needs some attention and could use improvement. Definitely a waste of money for us and never to return!!!

Yelp
Our large family/group (7 adults and 2 children) were looking for a restaurant to end our Thanksgiving trip on the way out of town. This one seemed to fit what we were looking for and had good reviews. Although we couldn't make a reservationin advance, we were seated quickly and accommodations for my mother (with a walker) were made, which I greatly appreciate. Our server was funny, attentive, and fast and the restaurant has a cute (though probably a little touristy) look. Unfortunately, the food was lacking. My biscuit wasn't even really a biscuit, the gravy had barely any sausage, and the fruit bowl all seemed to frozen and tasteless. I certainly might have ordered the wrong thing, but everyone at the table was a little ho-hum about the food. (And it's kind of hard to mess up breafkast food.) I'd give it another try as the service was great and I did enjoy the ambience, but we were definitely disappointed with the food.

Yelp
Stopped here to eat on our way out of town. We all got breakfast. I enjoyed my breakfast burrito. My friends pancakes were really good! Service was good and the mimosas hit the spot!

Yelp
Cannot wait to come back for breakfast. This place was awesome. There was a lot of people waiting to dine in, I was a little weary but they sat us within 20 minutes. We walked around the shop while we waited. As soon as we sat down, they took our drink order and got us squared away. Our waitress was very friendly and took our order. I kid you not, our food was out within 5-10 minutes. I was seriously mind blown. The food was amazing. We got a little bit of everything and want to go back and have more. Definitely one of my go-to places from now on whenever we visit Sedona.

Yelp
When in Sedona, Coffee Pot is our favorite breakfast spot. Lots of great options on the menu, great service and plenty of seating which is good because the place has always been super busy, each time we've been there over the years. Coffee is served in heavy duty mugs that hold the heat for a long time and are sold in the gift shop as well.

Brenda H.

Yelp
Buckwheat pancakes are So good! Coffee Good. Can be a wait but service is quick! Not the best Mexican, dont order the chorizo and eggs. Hubby liked the Hievos Rancheros.
google avatar

Yelp
Ok 1st thing 1st did yall read the 1star review about the dog ‍? Ok sorry off topic. Anyways my wife and I really liked this place. The parking a lil tight. So don't be coming up in here pulling anything, just saying. We got there Saturday morning the 1st thing that grabbed us was the ambience, just a cool vibe. There was no music just the sound of conversation from the customers and plates from the kitchen. We were seated right away, seconds (not minutes) later we receive our own coffee pot and canister of water. Not long after we read the menu a server came along and took our order. ( Remember back in the day when this kind of service would be considered expected from a restaurant, anyways) The food came quick and was great. If you're in the Sedona area and want to eat away from the "touristee" side of town. I definitely recommend this place. Just don't bring in your boat or an rv.
google avatar

Sheila F.

Yelp
In my daughter's words: "if they have five stars, give them 10" We ordered a little bit of everything and it was all 10/10. My favorite was their biscuits and gravy. It was the lightest fluffiest biscuit ever - covered in the most perfect gravy. I'll be thinking about this place all the way back to California. Thanks for the great meal!
google avatar

Cameo L.

Yelp
I have heard that this place is hoping and boy were they! We arrived at the perfect time and only had to wait 15 minutes for a table! As we waited we explored the gift shop and found some cute things! The restaurant had a lot of Native American decor which was really pretty. On each table the busters will place everything that you'll need on the table before you sit. From coffee mugs to pitchers of coffee and water. Which was very nice as we didn't have to constantly ask our waitress for refills. My boyfriend got the huevos rancheros and they were delicious! I personally can't pass up a waffle and I was not disappointed! It was sweet, fluffy, and delicious. I choose the sausage as my side. But honestly the best thing was their coffee! It was rich but not over bearing. My only complaint is that they didn't have dairy free options for coffee creamer. But over all a fantastic breakfast!
google avatar

Emily C.

Yelp
We got there around 9:15 and the parking lot was full and we found one of the last spots in the lot next door. However they were able to get us in after about 10 minutes with just two people. On our way out around 10 there were a ton of people waiting for tables. The cafe is cute and the menu is huge! The food was really good and the service was pretty quick. I'd say it's worth checking out when you're in Sedona since it's such a staple and it's kind of a fun spot but if the wait is like an hour I wouldn't say it's necessarily worth that wait. Prices are typical for a Sedona restaurant - maybe a little high for what you're getting but not terrible.
google avatar

Sarah D.

Yelp
Terrific breakfast, fast service, and a super cute gift shop! Parking was somewhat limited, but I lucked out finding someone just pulling out as I was coming in.
google avatar

John H.

Yelp
This place was great! I would highly recommend. The ambiance was so quaint just what you would expect for a Sedona diner with a dessert, Native American vibe with the style and its decor that you could see has evolved over the years. The staff was friendly yet edgy. The food was excellent. We tried Chicken fried steak, eggs, hash browns, waffle and a blueberry pancake. Everything was excellent. Had the coffee as well! The gift shop was super cool too. I didn't see the restroom here. The only thing that could be better was if they were open longer, so get there early because they close at 2.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped in for breakfast while in town, mostly because my sister-in-law was here years ago. She bought a mug that she loved and was devastated when someone broke it. We came in to see if they had a replacement (they did not). The parking lot was packed so we expected to have to wait but were seated right away after taking a quick spin through the gift shop looking for the mug. Their schtick is that they have 101 omelettes. There were at least 10% that probably never get ordered (sorry, some of them just sounded foul). Our server was great, and the food was fine. I had an omelette with bacon and spinach and coffee. The coffee was surprisingly good (I am almost always disappointed by restaurant coffee). Lots of people there seemed to know each other, giving it a nice small town feel. Not my favorite stop in Sedona but worth popping by for a generous breakfast at a good price point.
google avatar

Celeste H.

Yelp
Food is good, and they have a cute little store. It's honestly a nice diner to eat at with allot of food options.
google avatar

Andrew C.

Yelp
Casual old school diner... but on a large scale. Not much to look at from the outside but there's a very large two level room just inside with smaller adjoining rooms and a back patio. Huge southwest themed murals on the walls too; the place is bigger than you'd expect. They're famous for their 100+ omelette options and the list covers almost any combo of meat and veggies you can think of, but huevos rancheros we ordered were pretty damn good too. Great casual breakfast spot, but the coffee, meh - it's your average diner water. Service was quick, friendly and attentive, and I love any place that gives you a handwritten check at the end. A reliable morning go-to. Get there early though - the parking lot fills up pretty quick.
google avatar

Rick T.

Yelp
Good breakfast spot lots of options 101 omelette versions to choose from for breakfast ! Parking limited but free to customers.
google avatar

Courtney O.

Yelp
Sedona has such a unique feel to it. It's this perfect mix of mystical woo woo, zen reawakening and rustic desert country. Coffee Pot fits into that rustic desert country vibes. Think old school diner. It's a big diner with small town feels. They are serving up huge plates of big breakfast and comfort food. The food here is good! It's no frills breakfast bites. Portions are large and they've basically got everything on the menu that you could expect from a diner. It's quite popular here so expect a bit of a wait, but you can roam around the little front store area.
google avatar

Vicky S.

Yelp
101 omelets and even though they're 3-egg omelets, they look HUGE. I liked how they bring a pitcher of ice water and a pot of coffee to the table. Great breakfast and our timing was perfect because the parking lot can fill up fast.
google avatar

Soncerae M.

Yelp
This is a cute little place with 101 omelet choices! My favorite thing about Coffee Pot was that you can order half orders of things like waffles and French toast, which was perfect after sharing a cinnamon roll and let there be no food wasted. We only waited about 15 minutes on a busy Saturday and although their menu is extensive, our food came out very fast!
google avatar

Corinna M.

Yelp
Quaint and rustic feel to this breakfast spot. The staff was hospitable and service was excellent. Lots of menu options for breakfast fare. They're famous for having 101 types of omelettes. I had your basic 2 egg breakfast. A very satisfying meal and experience.

Yelp
Magnificent breakfast Came here after a pre-breakfast wonderful morning hike at the Seven Sacred Pools. The jaw dropping scenery has us extend our hike a bit more until the temperature got to the oven range so we finished but we were ravenously hungry. Checked on Yelp and found this place soooo we went in. We got here at 10 AM and there was no wait whatsoever. We sat by the highest point in the restaurant which gave us a panoramic view of the clientele. We were surprised to find out that the restaurant was initially a night club owned by Jane Russell back in the '50s. And we could then understand the myriad of Hollywood stars' pictures on the walls. Wow..... The food was just superb. The best biscuits I've ever had , an omelet with avocado and mushrooms and plenty of coffee. Service was spotless too. A very worthwhile venue.
google avatar

Christina Z.

Yelp
Solid place for an early morning diner-style breakfast. The prices are reasonable for the portion sizes, and they have a varied breakfast menu that features 101 omelette options - so of course, I had to go with one of their omelettes! I had the number 10 (aka a Denver omelette) which was really tasty - the omelette plates come with your choice of home fries vs hashbrowns vs cottage cheese vs grits and either toast or homemade biscuit. The biscuit was good (dense but with a bit of fluffiness), but the hashbrowns were a little undercooked and underseasoned. My husband had number 80 - corned beef hash and cheese, which was okay but he felt like would have been better in non-omelette form. The coffee was great - you can tell that it's freshly ground and brewed and was so smooth; love the mugs that they serve them in which you can also pick up at their gift shop.

Yelp
This was a great diner style breakfast restaurant. Food came out hot, fresh and well presented. Service was excellent and friendly. Everything was tasty and filling. Pancakes were excellent!

Yelp
Came here today on a recommendation from a family member. Today we had the French toast, hashbrowns, egg, and bacon. I'd have to say that the French toast was spot on. Very tasty you don't even need to have syrup with it. Hashbrowns were very good crispy. I added a little bit more salt for my taste. Oh French toast also comes with whipped butter. We also had two omelettes. One of them was the number 89, and his comment was it was just OK. They didn't mix the ingredients altogether instead they put them separately within the omelette. The other omelette was the number 16 and. and she says she was pleasantly surprised with the flavors. She enjoyed it. As for the coffee, they put the whole pot on the table for you. But the coffee drinker on our table said coffee was just coffee. I was a little disappointed in the water. They put the water on the table for you as well, but I prefer iced water. Well, the waitress was very pleasant. So I would say we enjoyed our breakfast today. Thanks for the good eats ... A quick note, when you come into the restaurant, you think it's small. But it goes on and on and on.., pleasantly surprised.

Yelp
So i got this recommendation from a local. Not sure i would have found it otherwise. They have 103 omelette on the menu. See screen shot. Menu was like newspaper which was cool. Lots of other great stuff. Price was great and staff was very nice. I will be eating breakfast each time i am here in town. Yes that good.
google avatar

Cher W.

Yelp
Great breakfast place! Highly worth the stop! You can't do better than the normal! Staff is friendly and there is no more choice of omelette than here.
google avatar

Zach H.

Yelp
My chorizo scramble with a side biscuit was pretty tasty overall. Biscuit was a little dry, but the gravy was good on top of it. I would get it again. Some of the other people at my table was hit and miss whether they liked it or not. But overall, it would be a place that we would all come to again.
google avatar

Rico M.

Yelp
So many choices especially if you're an omelette lover. I loved that we got to use their cups that could be purchased in the gift shop. I thought they were super cute. Nice lil place and good breakfast.

Yelp
Ambiance: 5, because even though it's a coffee house, they have a perfect vibe. Food: 5, they hit all the right notes. Everything was cooked to perfection. I was surprised at how good it was. Service: 5, friendly, funny, extremely efficient. Greeted with a super genuine smile and even a giggle. Asked if we would like the patio if there were any seats, we said yes. What a nice patio. Covered but with sunlights, plants, a waterfall, and tables nicely spaced out. Within seconds we had a courteous greeting at the table, menus, and a pitcher of ice water and hot coffee (the coffee is surprisingly very good) from someone not our server. Within minutes, I had a solid Bloody Mary in my hands. I like the way they pre-set their tables with water cups, condiments, etc. The server was there within minutes, friendly, speaking with a sense of humor that made us laugh, answering our GF questions, and helping us navigate the menu that worked for GF options and beyond. The food came out within 10 minutes, I don't know what kind of army they have in the kitchen, but that's pretty quick for a place of this size. I got the "43" with bacon and cheese ( a reasonable extra charge and worth it), beautiful wife ordered the "32." Zucchini, spinach, mushrooms, tomato, avocado, Jack cheese, and bacon done on a flattop grill (the 43)? Priceless. Something you don't see much of these days. Certainly not a perfect French Omelette (of which I am an expert), but cooked perfectly, not overcooked, not dry, not burnt, fresh ingredients, nothing fake, yum. The hashbrowns and breakfast potatoes were very good, the server kindly warned me off ordering the grits. Wife's GF Waffle with her omelet was something we had never had before and it was dang good. I would come back just for that someday, but it fills me up too much. We paid the check up front to a lady with a genuine smile and twinkle, looked at the fun gift shop, and made our exit with fulfillment. After reading many of the reviews here, I was expecting some cranky old lady serving us subpar greasy food with an attitude. Just the opposite. Super pleasantly surprised. I love that. We will be back

Yelp
Excellent food and service! Breakfast portions were huge and all of the food we had was delicious. Staff were very friendly and our waitress was able to combine two of the things I wanted so that it was cheaper than ordering them separately, which I appreciated. Only negative is the iced tea was so weak that I could barely tell it apart from my water.

Yelp
This is a great, local, and down home-feel-to-it spot. They are known for their omelets. Parking is limited in a private lot but there is ample parking across the street that is free. Our wait was less than 15 minutes. Our waitress was great and swift. It was pretty full for a late breakfast. I had the #27 omelet with grits and wheat toast. A family standard is biscuits and gravy and I had to try their's. The biscuits were different. They had more of a sandwich bread like consistency and I would've loved to have had more meat in the gravy. Otherwise, pretty great experience. They have a very extensive menu.

Yelp
The coffee pot is an old west diner. They have a mix of food from breakfast, lunch, Mexican. Big multi page menu. The decor is old west country. It's a fun and busy place. I had an omelette and my hubby had the take 2 breakfast. Both were very good diner type food. Nothing exceptional, just good food. The service was good. They are busy so our server was busy too. The restaurant gets loud. At times it was hard to talk to each other. Good solid meal and good service.

Yelp
I came with a party of 5 the last weekend of December. It was quite busy with a 25 minute wait and the place was packed to the brim. I love the cozy, somewhat old-fashioned diner feel here. We first ordered hot coffee, which tasted watered down and not very strong at all. Given that they sell their coffee in the gift shop, I expected something a bit better. I ordered an omelette (#42) with hash browns and a biscuit. I was pretty happy with my dish and really loved the flavor of the biscuit. We also ordered a short stack of strawberry pancakes to share. I thought these would have strawberries in the batter, but it's actually regular pancakes with strawberry compote on top. I wasn't a fan of the cooked strawberry flavor but the pancakes themselves were tasty. The biggest pain point we ran into was when one of my friends was given the wrong order. When we tried to raise the issue to our waiter, she accused her of making a mistake when giving her the order number. Not sure why someone would make a fuss over this rather than just rectifying the issue. Fortunately at checkout, the lady at the cash register took the omelette off our bill to correct the issue. I did really appreciate that someone in the restaurant took responsibility for the mistake and tried to fix it for us. Overall, if you're looking for a classic American diner, this is a good option! Just be very clear when ordering since the numbers can be confusing.

Yelp
This was my second time to coffee pot. I loved the refried beans. I ordered the huevos rancheros and it was really good. The corn tortillas could have been cooked a bit longer to make it more crispy than just the sloppiness of a warmed tortilla. But the atmosphere is iconic to Sedona and the gift shops was a cute little addition! I got some lavender vanilla lotion and it smells amazing and is very hydrating. The coffee was mid but the omelette #32 was absolutely delicious and their name says something about them being known for their omelette and they are correct on that. We ordered 3 meals and with tip it was like 50 dollars so very fair for the price. Not the fancy breakfast places and esthetic but it's good food for the price and you're in Sedona for goodness sake lol expect the quarks.
