I popped into this cute little spot to pick up a too good to go order. I love bookshops, and a coffee shop in the middle of a book shop is pretty fabulous in my opinion. The gal working couldn’t have been sweeter. I got a variety of goodies, and the ginger cookie didn’t disappoint. The muffins weren’t to my liking, but I’m not a big fan of blueberries in baked goods. My friend who ate them really enjoyed them though.

As it was I. The bookstore, it was awesome to have coffee as I was walking thru the store. Great place to come and hang out or just read. Will definitely come back for more.

This is a small café inside of book people. They offer a coffee, tea, soda, and other drinks, as well as some pastries and small snacks. It would be nice if they had a slightly larger variety, but everything that they have here is good.

Coffee People's unique location on the first floor of the Book People store attracts many people reading and studying. There are several tables and bar seating. The staff are fun and friendly, and their cold brew was delicious. Book People shares a parking lot with REI and Anthropology.

Most times I've patronized Coffee People I've encountered employees that are friendly and can be engaged. I find their food and beverage offerings to be very plentiful and delicious.  I encourage you to try Too Good To Go with them to have an opportunity to try a good variety of delectables, to find new favorites.

The best hot chocolate I’ve had in a minute. Always a cozy vibe - great to study, chill, or catch up with a friend

Google
Very helpful, and has so much energy while helping not only the people in front of us, but us as well. There's a cozy sitting area to sit and talk, while you enjoy you're cup of coffee!

Busy and very active coffee shop within a bookstore. But a simple ham and cheese sandwich is very overpriced.

Yelp
Popped in for a coffee after reading other reviews. I got an iced vanilla latte. It was good, nothing to complain about. I'd go back and get another one if I was in the area. The molasses cookies looked devine. Unfortunately mine was hard and maybe a day or two old so that's why I deducted a star. The service was great though! The barista was absolutely where she needs to be. She was probably the happiest person making coffee I've ever seen. She seemed to love her job and making the coffee for her customers! She deserves 5 stars herself! It's in the back of a bookstore but so t let that deter you to pop in just to grab a coffee! It's cute, the books around are an added bonus!

Yelp
Who would have thought this shop inside Book People would be so good. I am not sure where their pastries come from but they were very good (even the day olds). The Mediterranean Salad was wonderful. The Broccoli Cheese Soup was amazing.I have never drank coffee but my friend said the latte rivaled Starbucks. Serving tea lattes as well. No long lines! Fast courteous service! Books galore! I'll have to pop in for breakfast or lunch next time...

Yelp
We got a couple of coffees to have while we browsed the Book People store. The cashier was very patient and helpful when we ordered. She got our drinks prepared quickly and with a smile! Super convenient way to support a small business.

Yelp
Review below still stands! Just want to add that I popped in after brunch for something sweet and had the best interaction with the female employee. We discussed the items I was torn between, and she helped me make up my mind (molasses cookie) and suggested heating it. She knows best! I agreed. I also went with the seasonal latte (why not?) and enjoyed a strawberry latte with it. This was such a fabulous interaction. This is what Austin is all about. Connections. Realness. We need more of this right now.

Yelp
Delicious cold brew. The atmosphere isn't the greatest because there is no natural light, but the staff was nice and quick. Good place to try while you're shopping, maybe not the best place to come study.

Yelp
When the person behind the counter is super informative, communicative, helpful, nice, and the prices are reasonable you can't help but have a great interaction and positive takeaway. Emily was AMAZING and worked with me to get my drinks how I wanted them, have me creative ideas on a new blend I've never had to merge my two drinks I was craving, and really just the fresh/loose leaf tea is a Huge Bonus over other places. 2 drinks, with oat milk, $10. Take that Starbucks.

Yelp
Lyndsay is the best! So unbelievably sweet and creative! Check out the wall to see her wall of fame idea with all of the polaroid camera pictures! The coffee was so delicious too! Absolutely get the iced matcha latte with vanilla and lavender! She completely made my night!
