The 25 Best Bakeries In LA

" A visit to Coin De Rue in Koreatown can go several ways, from grabbing a to-go box of yuzu sponge cakes and red bean sweet rolls to lounging with an iced dalgona coffee and eating said box of pastries. The odds of the second scenario increase if you order this Korean bakery's masterpiece: the green onion pesto loaf. This gigantic scored bread looks like a garlic knot fell into a vat of radioactive waste and mutated into the Hulk version of itself. It serves four people easily, with melted cheese, scallions, pesto oozing out of every crevice, and pomegranate seeds adding surprise bursts of sweetness. If you order this monster, bring friends—or a good book—because you'll be here a while. " - brant cox, sylvio martins, arden shore

Google
Super cute Korean cafe, a great spot for studying or doing work. I like that there's a separate area for hanging out and the bakery. I got a shaved ice, cream puff, and iced coffee. All decent!

Google
Their pastry is Asian based, probably not top-notch. But upstairs seating is pretty good and I would go there if I need to work or study for anything.

Good bakery cafe for drinks, baked goods and chats. Cafe is split into 2 floors. First floor is the kitchen, counter and bakery. They have variety of cake, Mochi, pastry and other baked goods along with deserts and drinks like bingsu and special lattes. Top floor is the seating area with booths (reserved for 5+), couch, bar tables and study tables. It was a variety of good seating with plenty of outlets to charge your devices if you need to work. The outlets didn’t hold too well and WiFi wasn’t great. It was convenient that the restroom was upstairs. The music they played was a little too loud. Pastry were okay and drinks were good. I had the pizza bread for $7 and strawberry latte for $7. Staff service is average. Guy was kind enough to offer to toast up my pizza bread and female staff is nice but can seem a little cold. Cleanliness - 3/5. For half the day I was there, I didn’t see the staff come up to clean at all. Some tables were left with trash and sticky residue from drinks. Restroom also smelled. Conveniently located in a plaza with limited parking. Some days there are valet, other days it’s free. Also, dog friendly.

Google
The guy server or barista whatever He so rude…. I will not be coming back to this café. I arrived a full hour before closing, yet the barista’s face soured the instant I tried to order. After paying, my friend and I started toward the upstairs seats, only to be snapped at “ don’t go up we close soon! “delivered in a flat out rude tone. I’m Korean myself, and I’ve noticed some Korean staff treat Korean customers with unnecessary bluntness almost a power play. Emotions and attitude have no place in customer service. A polite reminder would have done the job. Management needs to address this, because good coffee doesn’t matter when respect is missing. 기싸움 걸지마 역겨우니까ㅡㅡ

Google
The egg ham sandwich was so yummy. The sweet potato cake slice seemed small and a bit expensive but it was plentiful once eaten. Im not sure if I would buy again unless craving and i found it a bit sugary; the potato chunks in frosting were a yummy touch. Some things are a bit too sweet for my taste but for reference I prefer the lower side of sweet things. The lavender latte i ordered didn't really stand out to me. The cafe is clean and comfortable to study at.

Google
Tried Jujube coffee, cheesecake cookie, and the strawberry cream with chocolate crisp — really impressed by the flavors. The jujube coffee is subtly sweet with a comforting, earthy note, and the strawberry cream treat had just the right balance of fruit and crunch. Cozy spot with elegant pastries — definitely worth a stop if you’re in LA.

Google
This coffee shop has good coffee and pastries. What I’d liked about this place was the extra space on the second floor; it's really comfortable, quiet, has spaces where you can do your work, and has a view of the streets. Is it just the parking that doesn’t help this place, but great customer services.

My friend and I were studying in the upstairs lounge and, as instructed, ordered an item from the menu. We arrived at 1 PM and remained for over two hours, although no clear rules regarding time limits were communicated to us. After stepping out briefly for approximately 10 minutes, we returned to find a woman with glasses immediately confronting us with a cold and unprofessional warning before escalating the situation by calling the manager. Meanwhile, several other patrons who had been there for just as long, if not longer, were left completely unbothered. During my previous visits, I encountered no issues. Rather than addressing the situation respectfully, this staff member chose to raise her voice and behave aggressively without justification. Based on this experience, we strongly recommend others reconsider visiting this establishment.

Yelp
This place is my favorite bakery/cafe in Koreatown!!! It's super spacious and very clean! Has a second floor and the staff is super nice! Jenna and Jae were super sweet and welcoming and they were such amazing baristas!! They need a raise! I got the black sesame iced latte and the iced vanilla latte! Both were super good and their black sesame smoothie is bomb! They have a variety of food/bakery items/ desserts, cakes! The ambiance is so chill and relaxing! Everyone comes here to study! Thank you for the great experience! Will be back very soon! Recommend this place to everyone!

Yelp
arrived later in the afternoon and the large seating area was pretty full. got to try the garlic cheese bread 4/5 (? not sure what its called) but it was really yummy. Kind of like a sweeter cream cheese + a bit of garlic. bread was a bit dry tho. the mango smoothie was amazing 5/5. i really enjoyed it. not too sweet and had the perfect balance of flavors. the restroom is very nice and the upstairs area is so so amazing!! really nice seating area upstairs to study or work at (couches, desks, round tables, room/cubicles). music was ok. would definitely come again.
google avatar

Joy C.

Yelp
The workers are really nice and this place literally has the BEST study area in the entire Koreatown. The study spot is very spacious (located upstairs of the cafe). I would definitely come back here again to study! Just note that the study area can get really loud if there are large parties in the reserved seating area (esp. on Sundays after church) The drinks are only okay though, but I would be down to try other flavors for sure!

Yelp
I have been to a fair share of cafes to work and study at throughout my past 6 years here in LA, and Coin probably takes the #1 spot in my list. Their upstairs lounge is what sells this place for me (it's also a huge plus that their drink menu is so extensive and their baked goods are really yummi!). There are enough outlets to go around and there's ample table space to place your items. Their lounge chairs are incredibly comfy as well~ This time, I ordered the iced earl grey dalgona latte. While the earl grey flavor isn't lacking, I think I'm personally going to stick with the yuzu iced tea I ordered last time--it was light and not overly sweet, my ideal drink. The staff are sweet and cheerful, despite it being 8 AM on a Sunday morning. Although the parking situation can deter some, I'd still recommend this cafe overall to anyone hoping to get some work done at one of the coziest spaces in LA.

Yelp
Every thing looked amazing until I tried it. Had their matcha cookie and their vanilla cookie. Both were quite bland, I think they needed more sugar. Items were well stocked so very appealing to consumers. Might try other items some other time!

Yelp
Been wanting to check this place out for while now because it's always on the best LA bakeries lists. We've been to their other location and left disappointed they did not have any of the pastries we wanted to try. Luckily this location had both the sweet potato and the maritozzo vanilla buns and weren't close to running out. We ate the buns there (there's a seating area upstairs) and both were ok. The filling is light, fluffy and not particularly sweet. However the size and creaminess of the buns made them difficult to eat without making a mess both on the table and on our hands. Between the two, we enjoyed the maritozzo vanilla more; the bread is fluffier, less dense and there is cream with each bite. There is also a coffee version and we are curious how it compares. Overall we're glad to finally have tried this place but not sure we would be ranking this place as high as others do.

Yelp
On a hot Monday afternoon in early September, my family walked over from lunch for a refreshing drink. The cafe is shared with bbq chicken and other bakery so the parking lot is small. We walked inside and there were people waiting for their drinks. There is also pastry bread and desserts besides coffee and fruit teas. I ordered green grape ade and waited for few minutes. I was tempted to buy pastries but I was too full. More people came and walked to The upper floor has tables with lots of people enjoy the ambiance or studying. My drink tasted one green grape soda. Best to park somewhere and walk there. Very good drinks and pretty looking desserts and breads.

Yelp
Service is quick and easy. The parking lot is closed at night, so only street parking is available. There isn't a lot of street parking. I like the inside. It is really clean and d comfortable. That matters to me. I ordered the tarimisu dessert, which is basic. Nothing, to write home about. I also ordered a matching latte with regular milk, which was REALLY good. Music is not overpowering. So I am able to get work done.

Yelp
Love this cafe! Staff were so helpful and efficient and the atmosphere was so cozy and welcoming. I had the mango smoothie while my friend had a frappuccino, and I can definitely say we loved them! The cake we had was so moist and just the right amount of rich. Will be back.

Yelp
Nice little coffee shop with some decent baked goods. They have plenty of seatings upstairs perfect for small gatherings, to work or to hang out. The servers were for the most part friendly. They were just a little quiet and hard to hear over the music. I got the Dalgona latte and it was amazing! Very sweet, so if you're looking for sweet coffee, this is the one. I also got some baked goods, but didn't taste too fresh. I'm assuming it's been sitting out from the morning but it was decent!

Yelp
Coin De Rue Dessert Cafe is located on Western and Beverly Koreatown in Los Angeles, CA. This place seemed to have lots of space on the 2nd floor and it was very inviting as the vibes were definitely geared toward socializing or getting work done. There are also booths that are reserved for a party of 5 or more. Regardless of reserving a space, there were plenty of seats when my friend and I went. The food was good. I had a croissant with bacon, egg, and ham and a hazelnut iced latte. The flavor was rich and it definitely did its job of waking me up for the night hours. The problem this place has is the limited amount of wifi. I was handed the wifi code by the cashier after ordering my food and drink; however, I was not impressed with the wifi situation. I'm not understanding how the wifi could be a problem.. Most cafes know that if you have customers that need to get work done, you would spend money on affordable wifi. You're better off going to another cafe. Overall, if you're coming to Coin De Rue Dessert Cafe, you best be only coming for the food and drinks. Getting work done here is not possible. I might consider changing my stars if I come back to evaluate the wifi.

Yelp
Love their pastries & cakes. It can be on the pricier side but it's so good! ENJOY! PS: There is a parking lot at street level, but also free underground parking.

Yelp
Calm, quiet and peaceful place to work! Good service! Delicious cakes and smoothies! Kind and good service! Clean and well maintained!

Yelp
Located in the LA Historic building that once was the original See's Candy location. Coin De Rue is an artisan bakery selling excellent pastries. From their creamy filled donuts to a notorious flattened croissant, pastries are interesting here. This cafe also offers cakes and a variety of other pastries. With the exception for personal preference, the brownie here not really a brownie. They also compete with another well known bakery just across the small parking lot thus you can get sandwiches too along with other savory items. The service is excellent. Pastries are wrapped and packaged with care. The staff here are well trained. The cafe portion seems generous with available drinks and even a sitting area upstairs The pricing is at a premium level for the artistry here. Much of the details for fine pastry are followed, and you will be impressed by the selection. You will find some excellent items and some not. Opened late till 11pm, this may be one of the saving grace when many others close too early.
google avatar

Yelp
They have the viral cream donut and flattened croissants that you see in korea! Lots of variety pastries Very cute cafe i would come back Small parking lot though
google avatar

Yelp
LOVE this place it's one of my favorite places to study in ktown drinks i rec: black sesame latte - good coffee taste in the black sesame, which balances well and it's not too sweet sweet potato latte- doesn't come w coffee but tastes like actual sweet potato which is rlly good grape slush - sooo good and refreshing and i'm not even a slush person bread: sweet potato and black sesame bread is great, but i'd pass on the mochi versions the study space is big, there's fast wifi, bathrooms, a lot of outlets, and it closes late which makes it like the best study spot imo i try to come here a lot during finals week LOL
google avatar

Shania W.

Yelp
Honestly, I'm not sure why not more people are talking about Coin De Rue. My friend suggested we come here for a late-night study spot, and I'm so happy she told me about this space! They're open until 11pm at night, which is actually a lifesaver considering how most other spots close by 5pm. When I came on a weekday evening, they weren't very busy, and the staff was super quick with my order. I ordered the Strawberry Latte, which was really milky and sweet. It was a nice dessert drink but got a little too sugary near the end. I didn't try any food, but everything looked super yummy - I hope to give them a taste in the future! What I really liked about this place is the environment. Their entire upper floor is for seating, and it's super cute! They have so many tables and seating, and the vibes are just so good. It's also pretty quiet, so it's easy to focus. They also had good Wi-Fi, so it's a great place to plop for several hours and get some work done. Parking was only valet in the lot. I'll definitely be back for another late study session!
google avatar

Ally K.

Yelp
Yummy yummy pastries. Matcha wasn't terrible, but not great. Everything runs sweet here, so I asked for it unsweetened which was better. The studying area upstairs is so pretty!! Great studying spot for sure. Plenty of outlets, plus free parking if you come early during the day
google avatar

Priscilla Y.

Yelp
Such a cute bakery owned by a sweet Korean family! Popped in because I was in need of a coffee nearby after a super early ktown appointment. Most bakeries weren't open nearby at the time of 9am so I didn't have many options, but I'm so glad I stopped by! I got their iced caramel macchiato and the Anglo Butter Soboro for myself, and a box of pastries for my mother in law! She really loves them and she usually loves 85 degrees bakery. I would say the pastries on the pricier side... averaging $3+ per. But it's a treat so I can live with that. I'm not much of a sweet tooth person. Cherry on top was when one of the staff/family helped me open car door with all the stuff in my hands even while he's delivering the pastries to the store! Super helpful!
google avatar

Andrew-London P.

Yelp
I would say the savory stuff is typically better than the sweet pastries when they have the interesting and unique savory offerings. The sweets have always let me down...usually dry and bland...boring. The actual cakes here CAN be good but also have had some bad ones. Consistency isn't really a strong point. My last visit, the employee had no idea what he was selling me...he told me this croissant looking pastry (photos attached) in this cake display case was a cream cheese tiramisu filling. And he said it with such confidence that I immediately said "oh yeah I'll take that" and I was so excited to try it. I mean, a rich, creamy tiramisu filling in a croissant shell?? DAMN that sounded so good. When we got home and dug into it....it was just whipped cream. No tiramisu flavor or cream cheese LOL. If you still go, I recommend you go to the original standalone location further south on Western and not this one in the Laces/Paris Baguette plaza. Seems to be more consistent and more knowledgeable there, and selection is better.

Yelp
This place is incredible and a hidden gem. Their coffee is amazing especially the lavender latte. The red velvet cake was alright. The upstairs level is full of tables and couches to sit in. Very comfortable atmosphere and amazing employees :)
google avatar

Eunice A.

Yelp
After a couple of times of going here and getting the food for to-go, my boyfriend and I finally decided to try eating at the second floor to check it out. I loved the interior and it had a huge space with nice seatings. I got my usual fave bagel which is always good. My boyfriend tried the veggie beef croquet which was so disappointing he actually couldn't eat a third bite. Their yogurt smoothie was also not that good. I would still come back to try their other offerings as they do have some good bread.
google avatar

Katherine M.

Yelp
Let's start with parking, it sucks in this plaza. If you are dinning in you get charged so do pick up if you don't live close by. Right when you walk in you are greeted by these beautiful little cakes that are decorated with such grace. They all have the prices on them as well as the flavors so that you don't have to guess. We ordered an almond cream latte and a strawberry yogurt smoothie. The latte was good but wished it had more of a coffee flavor. The almond cream was nice not too sweet. The strawberry yogurt smoothie is just that. There was too much chunks of ice but the flavor was like a yoplait strawberry yogurt. We picked up some bread while we were there, they had a great variety and had 50% off some as they were closing soon. The garlic bread with cream cheese was savory and sweet which can be confusing. We enjoyed a piece of it as the sweetness was a bit much.
google avatar

Kelly M.

Yelp
Valet parking available for $4. The upstairs area is amazing for wfh / study vibes. Plenty of chargers + great WiFi! Must have the black sesame financier!
google avatar

Angela W.

Yelp
Parking is a hassle, but that seems like the case for most business in K-town nowadays. They do have a valet service, if you get tired of looking for street parking. The place has a pretty good cake/pastry options, but their einspanner was really bad. My brother said his strawberry drink was good, so maybe they are just bad at coffee drinks? We were quite surprised at how big their 2nd floor seating area was. It was nice and quiet as well, so it was nice not needing to yell across the table to talk. Service was friendly and swift.
google avatar

Kim T.

Yelp
Unique bakery and beautiful spacious upstairs seating area. I discovered this bakery while dining Thai food restaurant next door. I was surprised there is another bakery Paris baguette across from it in the same small plaza. This bakery is way better than Paris across from it. They had varieties of bakery that was light and d not too sweet as how I liked my dessert bakery. I feel in loves with the vanilla spiral croissant which was fluffy and filled with cream inside that is perfectly not sweet. Other was okay. The surprising was the upstairs seating. I did not expect it to be spacious and cozy which I can sit there all day.
google avatar

ashley w.

Yelp
what i tried: - sweet potato latte: 7/10 - dalgona latte: 4/10 - curry croquette: 4/10 drinks did not have a strong coffee flavor and the dalgona latte was way too sweet. i couldn't taste the sweet potato for the other drink. the croquette was ok, but didn't taste fresh. however, the interior of the store is very pretty and there is a lot of seating to get work done. i would come back again to try something else, there are a lot of promising looking pastries.
google avatar

Anna D.

Yelp
Clean, chill, spacious area with polite staffs! Many cake and drink options. They close pretty late and the. Wow are really good. Out of all the cakes, I like the vanilla maritozzo and Hokkaido cheesecake the most. Next time, I'd like to try the other maritozzo and a matcha beverage. 10/10 recommend!
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
i've been here a couple times, but i came back to try the sweet potato cream bread and the realistic sweet potato mochi bread. they are so good and not too sweet. i've had the matcha lemonade before, and i remember it being very sour, but i'm sure the other drinks are better. there is plenty of seating here, and it's a good place for studying! there's also a free parking lot, but it's small and fills up fast!

Marosha N.

Yelp
Extremely rude and clingy staff. I was waiting for a friend and the worker asked me to leave because it's for paying customers. I explained I'm waiting for someone and we'd order togather but he said I'd have to either leave or purchase something. 0/10, will never come here again.

Mina N.

Yelp
Been going here since they opened. Fresh pastries and their black sesame latte is my favorite
google avatar

Cynthia M.

Yelp
Super cute bakery with a lot of seating on second floor, very similar floor plan to cafes in Korea. Stuff sells out so what you want might not be there. Enjoyed: The real real: great texture and fun to eat Canele: wow, the outside is delicious crunchy and the inside is moist. Ok: Potato cream: looks amazing and great execution but not as tasty.
google avatar

Ploy N.

Yelp
Was drawn to this place by their OG-looking Korean pastries. Love me some Asian pastries and I gotta say I wasn't disappoint. They got so many varieties with red bean, sweet potatoes, green tea etc. All your favorite flavor profiled. We went with the Sweet Potato Bun which was filled with a purple sweet potato cream and actual sweet potato! It's just like eating the real deal but better. We also tried the Mammoth Bread which has been on my list for awhile. It's a hefty piece of treat, hence the name, but so delicious and satisfying. Not overly sweet despite its appearance. Best portioned and shared. They also do a selection of coffees and drinks. Get their Black Sesame Latte; soso good. The store looks deceptively small at first but they actually got a whole second floor dedicated to seats and tables. Could see this being a great study/hangout spot.

Hungry Fat Girl ..

Yelp
Came here because it's a cafe and we are planning a wedding. We have a LOT of work to do and need a large table to work + we wanted to get out of the house. Drove from the valley to get here based on the good reviews on the coffee and snacks. Noticed the big tables on Yelp. There's no crowd here, no lines. Hardly anyone here as you see in my photos. We asked to use one of these big tables but because we had a smaller party, we were not allowed to use the larger tables. I would understand if it was crowded here but as you can see from my photo , it is not wild and crazy in here and all the tables are empty in the booths. Just kind of rude when I politely asked and ordered coffee and treats. What's crazier is that my party of 2, was told we can't use them but 45 min later, a party of 2 or 3 was allowed to use the booth and they sat there eating taking up the whole table. Nobody told them they could not. Soooo why weren't we allowed to? Anyway. Will not be back after today. Do not recommend unless you are just stopping by for a quick chat i guess.
google avatar

Kandis T.

Yelp
I went in and ordered a black sesame latte and asked the person which they prefer the tiramisu or red velvet cake. They recommended the tiramisu. I've had better black sesame lattes and better tiramisu, and for the price it was a little disappointing. It's a cute place and service was fast and friendly, perhaps because it was empty.

Christian R.

Yelp
I've been seeing videos about the sweet potato mochis and found this place that has them. They're really good. The chewiness from the mochi was so satisfying and the filling was actually potato/sweet potato... delicious! I hope they make other flavors! I also got a lavender iced latte. It was just a latte with lavender syrup. It was decent. I got other pastries that were also decent but nothing too special. I got a chicken croquette, beef and vegetable croquette, ham and cheese croissant, and sweet potato cream bun. Croquettes were a bit too bready for my liking. Croissant could be a bit more buttery and flaky. The cream for the sweet potato bun was good, fluffy and not too sweet. I'll be going back mainly for the mochi potatoes.

Yelp
Coin De Rue translated from French is street corner. Located in corner entry of a strip mall in Korean town, is this new pastry cafe. Limited free parking in their lot. Upon entry, I was greeted by the two female staffers who had a face mask and gloves for health safety. The shop was clean, organized and had many selections from fancy cakes, chocolates, sweet and savory. Most of the fancier desserts were in the display case. While the sweet and savory pastry were individually wrapped in plastic, as I have seen at other pastry shops, which I like to keep other people's germs off. I had an intense workout earlier and was famished...probably not a good idea because I ordered quite a bit. I was curious and was delighted visually. The ladies staffers were helpful nice and appreciated my visit for all the goodies I got they gifted me a cool travel cup. Since my visit a few days ago, I've tried a few of the pastries and shared and given away others. Everything I've tried were delish and yummy and did NOT give Me a bad sugar rush reaction as some other pastries have, due to artificial additives. The signature green onion pesto with melted cheese top bun was really good, but could have had more cheese, it was too much doughy bread..which is a cross between a Hawaiian + Parker roll in taste and texture. This shop is across the parking with their competitor Paris Baguette, a shop I also like but didn't stop inside since I already purchased more than I wanted from Coin De Rue. Evidently the shop has indoor seating upstairs but there were no signs letting Me know. I would have liked sitting to eat and maybe order a coffee drink. but was not informed. Probably due to the fact the two staffer ladies had limited English speaking ability. I ended up taking everything togo and did take a bite of the pumpkin cream filled bun while in my convertible. Because there were no outdoor patio seating. If you're in the Korea town area of LA, hop down the street corner to Coin De Rue, this new pastry cafe is worth a visit!

Yelp
Bought $60 worth of pastries. The pastry that was the reason for my visit was disappointing. It did not taste fresh. I also bought a slice of chocolate cake and carrot cake. both were good, but the slice was too thin. Too expensive for what it was.
google avatar

Erika K.

Yelp
The pastry was okay. Matcha castella was so dry it was grainy like sand. Matcha cookies were so bland.. I also ordered a chai tea latte and requested it to be less sweet. My order was ready in about a minute, which pleased me, but upon reaching my destination and trying it, I realized my request was ignored. It was so sweet I had to discard the drink. More than the dry and bland pastry, the lack of integrity and the dishonestly really turned me off. It would have been better if they had informed me if my request couldn't be accommodated so I could have changed my order. In hindsight, I noticed the cashiers exchanging looks, which makes sense now. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back or recommending. I recommend to Paris baguette located in the same plaza.

Yelp
This bakery is SUCH a great place, although we didn't fully enjoy every item we got, we will definitely be back! Walking in, the displays are absolutely gorgeous with all the cakes and cookies and pastries - one of the best looking there is. But will the taste match the appearances? We were helped by what appear to be a mother and son, both of whom were extremely welcoming and friendly, sharing some stories and answering any questions we had. They have a small seating area downstairs but upstairs is perfect! Some private "rooms"for groups, small tables and booths available and it's pretty quiet/relaxing. To drink we got the hot dalgona latte and hot einspanner. Both were tasty and had great creams/foams on top but once mixed you kinda lose the full flavor of it and it becomes sweeter than expected. We still enjoyed both. For pastries our favorite was the matcha chocolate chip cookie - thick, chocolatey, very strong matcha flavor, and kinda dry but not too bad. The sweet potato pastry was okay, I personally wasn't keen on the big chunk of sweet potato in the middle. The carrot cake was surprisingly delicious! Moist, not too sweet, and well balanced. And lastly the Napoleon was unique with whipped cream and sponge cake in between the puff pastry. Overall it was a bit dry but wasn't overly sweet and still had great flavors.

Yelp
The food is ok and the drinks are ok. I came here to get something to eat and get some work done. Nice place to get the work done, but the only problem is the internet sucks and it wont stay connected.

Yelp
This place has such a great working spot upstairs! There a good number of tables and chairs that could fit around 30 people. Definitely hard to find a spot like this in the heart of Koreatown! The drinks are really good here as well. I recommend the purple yam drink, which has a strong taro flavor mixed with honey. There are a good amount of fresh bakery items here as well that i'll have to come back and try next time!

Yelp
This is going to be the next big hangout and study cafe - I already know it. The indoor seating area upstairs is STUNNING. The layout is very spacious and has a variety of seating: private dining booths, coffee tables with sofas, round tables with comfy chairs, individual window seats, and tables along the walls. There are a lot of outlets scattered around the wall so it's perfect for studying or getting work done. As for the bread, there's such a wide variety ranging from pastries to decadent savory bread to roll cakes to cream buns. You can definitely satisfy your craving with any one of the unique items they have. Bakery items I tried: - Vanilla Roll Cake - Chocolate Napoleon Cake - Real Real (potato and sweet potato) - the sweet potato one is so good since the exterior is chewy like mochi but the inside has real sweet potato filling - Sweet Potato Cream Bun - the star of the show: a must-try! - Garlic Baguette The drink menu is also very extensive and I had to try the best-sellers so I went for the Black Sesame Latte and Cold Brew Almond Cream Latte. Both were amazing!! The black sesame latte was nutty and had the perfect balance of espresso and black sesame. The cold brew latte wasn't too sweet and was exactly what I wanted when eating the bread. They also have other fun signature lattes so I would recommend trying those out too!

Yelp
Super disappointed! I was really hoping to like this place! The pastries did not taste fresh. I got a few different items - Levain cookie, honey cake pastry, almond cookies and not one was good! Everything just tasted super dry and old. Items here are pricey as well, on average $5 per pastry.

Yelp
Best bakery in Ktown! The bread is so fresh and they always have new interesting new pastries - our favorite are the croquettes. The homemade sandwiches are also great. The service is also always so friendly and sweet.

Yelp
Decent cafe but nothing special! Not worth the hype imo especially because they didn't seem to have AC on the 2nd floor. the 'nutritional bread' pastry I got was surprisingly good though.

Yelp
This coffee shop has good coffee and pastries. What I'd liked about this place was the extra space on the second floor; it's really comfortable, quiet, has spaces where you can do your work, and has a view of the streets. Is it just the parking that doesn't help this place, but great customer services.

Yelp
Service was rlly good! Strawberry matcha latte was a bit too sweet for me. The pastries didn't really meet my expectations. Upstairs was very roomy and good for work/study vibes.

Yelp
First off, you'll be amazed at the variety of baked goods here. I wish I could've tried more but alas, I'll just have to return to taste all the goodies I missed. Everything is labeled and priced though I had to ask for explanation for some of the more obscure words. Love the garlic bread with cheese. At $15, it's more like a meal to share. Also love the injulmi bun with red bean and generously coated with peanut powder. Loaded with cream but only slightly sweet. I could eat this all day. All breads priced between $2.75 to $5. Large drink menu as well, and even shaved ice. Whole cakes available too. The seating is mostly upstairs. Communal tables with stools, smaller tables and plenty of space for the conversationalist or the workaholic. Very comfortable with even private spaces. Lots of outlets for studying/laptops. Perfect temperature and relaxing tunes. On a Thursday afternoon, only two to three other parties besides us. Would definitely come back for the baked goods and maybe some school work?
