One of the most fun barcades in the area - and one that has real food! Plus an ATM and change machine on site! Get delicious burgers & fried fare, reasonably priced drinks and great tap options, and enough games to keep you and your crew entertained for hours no matter what games you like: rooty tooty, sporty, group, pinball and more. Parking can be a bit tough to find and the building can get a little cramped when it's busy, but it's a chill crowd.

Love love love! Great lineup of older and newer games alike, and the burgers are awesome. Full bar too with some great cocktails, a rotating tap list, and knowledgeable bartenders.

This place is great. Our bartender was very gracious! It was so busy, and service was extremely quick. Added bonus...the food is amaaaazzzzing! Plus so many games! 10000/10 stars!

This is an awesome, unique gem of Greenwood. The staff couldn't be better, great bar food(try the burgers, you're welcome), classic and unique arcade games with pinball. If that all wasn't enough, they the wettest water Greenwood.

Visited this bar while I was in town with family. The atmosphere was relaxed and it wasn't over-packed. Not all of the games were in order but that's ok. Drinks were good.

People are super attentive & friendly. Food is delicious! Vegan options is always a plus. Tons of arcade games to play. The drinks are great too!

This place was fun and had great food. Bring some quarters to play games. There is a change machine inside. Great atmosphere.

Love going here, bartenders are always so friendly and quick. Got a dank vegan burger for $9. Love the rotating selection of local brews and ciders. Definitely recommend 👍👍

Coindexter's is such a fun spot for a Saturday night outting. They have so many drink options and the food options are pretty good too. I had one of the burgers and it was pretty tasty. My favorite was the tots though. Make sure to bring some coins with you, but if not - don't fret, they have an atm and a coin machine inside too. The arcade is so fun. They have a mixture of games and pinball machines. It'll have you reminiscing on your childhood.

Not blown away by the service, food or ambiance. I know it was a weeknight but it still wasn't what I was told. Had my beer, paid and moved on. With other venues nearby I won't be coming back for awhile...

First of all.. great bar to hang with friends at.. This bar has: One of the best burgers in Seattle. The best Tator Tots in in Seattle. Fun arcade games for everyone Reasombly priced food and drinks. Come here... its worth it. Try their burgers and tots and have their fry sauce

Affordable prices and solid drinks. Cute local place and fun games! Not too busy so easy to get seats and avaliable games but I bet if it was busy you wouldn't be able to play a whole lot.

I love Coindexter's. I've lived and worked in the neighborhood since before it opened and have been many times. Very 90's vibes throughout. I actually have a jar of quarters I save specifically for whenever I'm gonna come here. Overall the place isn't too big so on the weekends it can get a bit crowded but on a weekday it's much more chill. They have a great selection of drinks and for it being a bar, I actually do enjoy their food! My only gripe is that most of the time I end up going, they are usually out of the Cap'n Crunchberry treats or just don't have them. But that's just me having a sweet tooth and getting excited when I see it on the menu. Haha

Had been here a few times when I first moved to the neighborhood, and had enjoyed the beer and food. Got unlucky the last visit with one of the owner/managers working the bar (but mostly sitting AT the bar). He's the same one who was rude to another woman, earlier review; JFC he was so RUDE to me. I worked in the restaurant business for many years as a server and bartender; a customer should be able to ask for utensils.

I'm more of a quiet bar gal, but if I'm going to spend my time drinking in a loud environment, it's probably going to be Coindexter's. It's a fun bar to rendezvous for a birthday party which is what I usually end up here for. Good 90's tunes, excellent selection of games from SkeeBall to Pinball (and also arcade games that don't involve balls), plus they have reasonably priced food ($5.50 grilled cheese, $8.50 nacho fries). Their house cocktails are not my bag. Make it So (Earl Grey tea infused whiskey, lemon, cinnamon, bitters) is reminiscent of a boozy breakfast cereal (maybe that was the point?). The Dark & Stormy (Whaler's dark rum, lime, ginger beer) wasn't very balanced. Maybe it was the bartender, but I'll stick to sure things like a beer and a whiskey going forward. I'm sure I'll be back once I replenish my quarters. As far as I know it's the closest place to me that has Bust-A-Move.

Nice establishment, with good atmosphere. Typical drinks on tap, video games and other bar games (skeeball, basketball, etc) available as well. The grilled cheese with bacon is good.

Such a fun barcade stuck in the '90's! I came here for my friend's birthday party, as this is a place he frequents and loves, and after visiting, I can see why! There's a bouncer who checks IDs soon after you walk in, since Coindexter's only allows those 21+, indicating a play place just for adults. Yes! Plenty of seating is located off to the side, across the bar where you order drinks and food and for food, it's delivered to your table once it's ready. Oh, and although the menu is straightforward, with grilled cheese sandwiches, there are TOTS! But the real winner here are the games! There are classic games, like Pac-Man and Mario Kart and pinball machines in the back room. Most of the games I saw were a quarter to play a round, and they do have a coin machine, just in case! AND, since we're drinking while playing games, there are cupholders at the games, that so comfortably accommodates your pint of draft beer. Yeah, dawg, they thought of everything! For a break from all the games though, you can watch the old school shows they play in the background and during my visit it was MTV's Daria! Freakin' awesome! Staff is super friendly and people are chill here. It wasn't too packed on a Saturday night and we never had to wait to play certain games and such. When I went to the restroom I saw a sign, lending help for those on a bad Tinder date, with instructions to order a certain drink, which indicates to staff whether you need them to walk you to your car, call the police, etc... Seriously, this place thought of everything. Not only does Coindexter's cater to adults who never really grew up (me) with tots and classic games, they have your back in case you're on a sketchy date. Coindexter's is where it's at!

Awesome arcade bar with a great selection of games and drinks.

Wow this is a great place and the crowds have yet to find it. 12 drafts on tap and tasty grill cheese. The place has a lot of space for you and your friends. You have Rocco's Modern Life, Dinosaurs and more classic on TVs throughout the bar. Great arcade, skeeball, pool and pinball games to choose from. Not as full of games as The Jupiter in Belltown but more arcade games and Skeeball. Come and have a fun night out.

After the recommendation from a coworker, and the fact that they had super shots, convinced me to visit this place. I like the arcade vibe! Though most of the games they had were pinballs, the rest was great as well like Ms. PacMan, beer pong and Mario Kart. The food was also good, I happened to forget the name of the fries with Chicken Teriyaki, but I thought it was a touch too salty. But the jalapeño poppers are really good considering I dislike jalapeños. It's a nice fun spot to hang with friends on a weekend if you're looking for an alternative to the club scene!

They open Sept. 1st. Got a preview opening. Such a fun new stop in Greenwood. Tasty unique drinks and yum bar food from grilled cheese sandwiches to corn dogs on a plate made with corn pancakes, hotdogs and tasty sauce. Pinball machines fill the back room and old school pacman to skee ball out front The bar staff is friendly and helpful with drink suggestions. This is the cool and fun new place in town.

I absolutely love this bar. The drinks are creative. The games are awesome. I found games here that I've never seen before and I'm a regular at arcades. I do have to say that I challenged a few people on the games and I won all but the basketball challenge. This is a great place for a first date as long as you are ok with seeing your date's competitive side!

I seriously enjoyed hanging out here. Lots of fun games. Pinball selection was pretty awesome. Not crowded at all, plenty of space to move around. Great drink selection. We'll be back when we're in the area for sure.

FINALLY. I am so glad a place like this is in my neighborhood! There are plenty of machines, from pinball to skeeball to 4-player Pac-Man, and I've seen a few more arrive since my first couple of visits, so you can tell they're expanding. There is plenty of open space to house more games (definitely not as cramped as some of the older arcade bars around town), and the arrangement of the games leaves plenty of room for walking around. The menu is super interesting and decently priced. The food combinations are creative and tasty, and the cocktails have very interesting ingredients. Any place with grilled cheese and corn dogs is going to be a favorite of mine. Sometimes the combinations seems a little far-fetched, but I won't knock it 'til I try it. The only problem I have with this place is that the service can be a little lacking. It could still be the fact that it's a new bar and there's a lot for everyone to learn, but I've been there on four different occasions at pretty varying days and times, and every time it can take quite a long time for you to get a drink or even get the bartender's attention. Sometimes they walk past without acknowledging you, even if you lock eyes and they know you're right there. It's a busy place, I know, but just a quick "I'll be right there" or "thanks for waiting" would go a long way...

Our company recently went here for our company party and it was THE BEST. The owner (Nick? If I remember correctly) was amazing. Extremely willing to go out of his way to make our company party amazing. The area 51 wings were perfectly spicy, and the grilled cheese options were a great topper. Drinks were great, and I did not have anything less than a 10/10 experience with any of their employees. Thank you so much CoinDexters!

I was lucky enough to score an invite to the soft opening! This will be getting added to places I will travel to just to visit! The grilled cheese was amazing and so many options! I loved the games.... you should check them out once the open on the 1st of September!

GREAT Barcade. Lots of unique options (mario kart anyone???) and a room full of pinball machines. Lots of space in case the place gets crowded. Full bar and a good selection of seating at the bar or around the barcade. It can be deceptive how large it is! Very pleased to have found this place.

I think they are still trying to work out the kinks for a new business. I would like to see a few more video game classics. I would also like to see a bigger selection of spirit choices, but they do fine with beer. The food menu is fun for the place. The tots were a bit underdone and oily though; I am not sure the fryer was hot enough. I do like the space and the idea. It is definitely a place I would come with friends and hang out. I am hoping for good things here.

Good selection of video arcade games and pinball machines. Their cocktails are good. I like the Power Glove. Haven't had their grilled cheese combo for $8 but I noticed on the menu & it sounds mega good. They have NBA Jam, The Simpsons, Terminator 2 Judgement Day, & a bunch of other games. Super chill spot. Nice addition to Greenwood. Glad I live here

Try their Capn' Crunch Ice Cream balls, justifies the rating alone but they have a very creative menu and cheap beer. Not to mention an array of games including Marvel vs Capcom 2, Time Crisis and a game where you play a Cow Cowboy, yeah, worth the trip for sure

This place has a great thing going! Full bar, good vibe, and a great selection of pinball machines as well as video games and ski ball.

Awesome games. Really amazing beers on tap. Food is just ok if you're into super cheesy and fried party foods. Staff is super nice. Always an enjoyable experience.

I hate yelp and everything about it. It empowers entitled people and turns everyone into a wannabe professional food/restaurant critic. Getting that out of the way Coindexter's is great. Great atmosphere and bartenders. The food is exactly as you'd expect it to be; perfect bar meals. I hate yelp critics. Get a ****ing life.

What a unique place. They are only two weeks old, already a hopping, happening place. I love the concept. They have an array of video and other games, awesome. Their food menu is also creative and fun, 8 or more different kinds if grilled cheese sandwiches, 3 different wing selections, and more...plus, they have TATER TOTS!! Unfortunately their service still has some work to be done. With one cash register in a busy bar, there was long Waits and it was very difficult to get hold of the bartender's attention. When they get the service right, this will quickly jump to a 5 out of 5. Also, parking is a challenge in this neighborhood, but that is not their fault by any means, just s statement of fact.

Nifty little barcade. Had good food and games and is conveniently close to the baranof if you decide you want to start or end with karaoke.

I love barcades! Great nostalgia for those of us who played coin-op games in our youth. Ice cold beer is where it's at and I'm not talking about the drinks! Love the menus made from comic books and old plastic VHS tape cases! The cheesy 80s and early 90s flicks playing on the big screen add to the vibe too. Oh yeah and super cool bartenders, relatively inexpensive drinks, good bar food (recommend the Ryu fries and/or tots) and never have to wait too long for drinks.

The drinks are nicely prepared and the bartenders are on the ball. The selection of classic video games and pinball is second to none, I mean none. Here they have it all for the true classic gamer, even some classic grub. The service was prompt and friendly. We just relaxed, enjoyed the wide variety of music, and of coursed played many games, we got stuck on skeeball and Mario Kart. This place is a must visit for all!

This place is the BEST. A genius concept- arcade games and grilled cheese. And not just any grilled cheese- truly one of the most delicious meals you had in ages. No joke Shawna is hands down the BEST chef in greenwood. Creative combinations and fresh flavors makes coindexters our go to spot for any occasion.

Drinks are creative and on-point. Bartenders are seasoned pros, and will custom-make something awesome for you. And the video games! What adult kid doesn't love kicking their friend's butt at PacMan (and a whole slew of other awesome classics). Large open space, great for groups.

This place is awesome for the most part. Great games, good food, and up until last night I've always experienced friendly service. Unfortunately, last night was the exception, my friends and I were dismayed at the rude and condescending service from one of the employees. It's an arcade bar, not Canlis, and this employee mocked our drink choices and generally made us feel unwanted and unwelcome. That being said, she is just one employee, and otherwise I'd totally recommend this place. It just put a big damper on what would have otherwise been a great experience!

Coindexter's is excellent. Great food, great games, and great drinks. The staff was wonderful, too! We ordered the hot wings and the bbq wings. The hot wings were pretty hot (which we loved! Some people in the party we were with thought they were a bit too hot but we like them that way,) and the BBQ wings were delicious. The fries and tots were delicious. Everything was fresh and crisp. Beer was cold. Great neighborhood bar in Greenwood. We will be back.

Wonderful game bar! I recommend the Batman, Rollerball, and Simpson's pinball games. The food is unique and delicious, as are the drinks. All well priced. Love the murals and seating. They are getting even more machines soon and someone told me they may get an air hockey table and Street fighter!! Here's to wishful thinking!

Phenomenal grilled cheese. Incredibly friendly staff. There is a giant Mural of Bigfoot drinking Rainier in the entryway which is equal parts awesome and classy.

It's a bar-cade, so it's fun. But it's also kinda dark and smells a little like urine in the back. But it has a decent selection of pinball machines, and Killer Queens! Drinks seem a little pricey for well drinks, so I stick with my can of Seattle Dry, which is about the same price everywhere.

I've been wanting to check Coindexters out for a while now, but not living in the neighborhood made it a place not on my everyday radar. I recently went out of my way to go, and it is now firmly on my list of 'destination' businesses I'll go out of my way to frequent. Fun food, video games, and pinball. The grilled cheese menu is both fun and delicious (w/TOTS!!!), and I'm really interested in trying the beer-battered field roast dog! This is probably one of the best date night places in Seattle. How can you NOT have fun with tots and the Hoff? (Baywatch pinball machine! Whaaaaat?!?!?! Yeah!!!) Can't wait to go back. I hear that Iron Maiden pinball calling my name....

Best new place in this neighborhood to kick it & their Fieldroast corn dogs are delicious. Came in randomly off the street and instantly had a lovely beer and conversation going with a nice random fella & the bar owner. Ended up staying way too long because of good food & there were so many fun things to do. Seems like the best spot around here - I might just end up being a regular.
