I booked Coley's for our Classic Car show in La Vergne yesterday and I was blown away. The food was absolutely unique and delicious. It was the most organize food vendor I've ever seen...ordering was fast and easy and you even got a pager to notify you when the food was ready...which was within 5 minutes. I can't believe I was fortunate enough to fill a cancelled food spot with a vendor of this caliber (Netflix contest winner). The owners were very gracious and such a pleasure to work with. I even ordered a to-go plate of ribs to take home for my husband for dinner. He commented it was the best ribs he can remember and the mac & cheese with the hint of smoke flavor was superb! Thank you to Coley's for making our event even better. I heard nothing but good comments from our guests.

I saw Smoke and I had to turn around. It was coming from Coley‘s Jook Junt food truck. I ordered the smoke wings and the cabbage. The wings are amazing and they don’t even need sauce. The cabbage is the best I’ve ever had. The best part was I got to meet Chef Shaticka. She was my favorite contestant on Barbecue Showdown. I remember saying I would love to try some of her food. Well, today was the day and I was very impressed. It’s always great to meet another Nashville Native. I cannot wait till my next visit. 10 out of 10.

We were Fourth in line and waited an hour to receive our food in Antioch. Ribs were tough and didn’t have enough flavor. Beans were nothing special. I was expecting a little more for a $23 plate. It was nice to see Shatika doing her thing, however, I don’t think I would go back based on the quality of the food and the service we had. I wish I was friends with her, I probably would’ve received my food a lot sooner than paying customers.

I’m sure there’s some history behind the name, and I’m not disparaging that part at all, but if you are going to start a business that serves food, I would give a little more thought to the name. Or perhaps there was too much, and the owner got too creative. Because this is the absolute worst name for a Restaurant/dining institution. Absolutely awful.

Chef Shaticka Robinson slays everything she touches. We literally pop up at all of her events and food truck spots. So glad to have her in Nashville. Wholly recommend you try her food.
