Stunning arrangements! and the sweetest customer service, offered to make a large arrangement that same-day visit to help me out! The store is whimsical, and so many interesting beautiful things to see while she crafted this beautiful bouquet. She was able to ask questions and prompts to figure out what I wanted even when I wasn't able to explain it.

absolutely gorgeous store!! very cozy, welcoming, and so beautifully stocked with plants and flowers 💐 they worked with us to build a perfect lil bouquet and we were just stunned by the finished result! we got them in memory of a dear friend who passed a couple of years ago and we know she would have loved them too 💛

Colibri is my go-to florist! Their arrangements are works of art. I recently had them create a centerpiece and some smaller bouquets for my client appreciation party and got so many compliments all night long.

Colibri Flowers makes the most creative and unique arrangements we have ever seen. We now work exclusively with them for all our big events and openings- and are never disappointed. Their arrangements always get compliments and always add to our events and visitor experience. Portland is so lucky to have a florist like this in our town. They are the best in the biz.

Happiness is a good way to describe how I feel when walking into Colibri. The store has a great environment full of flowers and other fun items (chocolate, coffee, snazzy magazines, pots/vases, etc). Their flower arrangements are incredible, so much so that I have a subscription so I get to bring that happiness home with me. In addition to regularly getting flowers I've taken classes from Bianca (a must do!), gotten my holiday wreaths, and they did my sister's wedding flowers. It really is a special place.

This shop was actually recommended by ANOTHER local florist while I was looking for a local floral shop that had proteas in stock for a last minute arrangement. I am SO thankful for the recommendation because I was thrilled with the outcome. I gave the florist creative freedom to throw together an arrangement that included a protea with a $100 budget. The florist was friendly and knows how to WOW while staying comfortably within budget. All the other reviews mention unique arrangements and they are absolutely right. I have never seen such exotic colorful arrangements and flowers in my life. I’ve found my go-to florist.

Colibri is perhaps my favorite florist anywhere! They are so nice and helpful there. Selection is fantastic and I love the vintage refrigerators where they store the beautiful flowers. Such gorgeous presentation too. I’ve ordered flowers for delivery and they are stunning.

It’s a cute shop. But the plants are quite expensive and looks a little sad. The mocha that I had was like $7 ($7.50? Can’t quite remember) without tip. Not bad but was slightly disappointed since I have been very excited to try it out. But 1 star for the aesthetic and 1 star for the beautiful varieties of flowers they have.

I really love the cafe olla latte! Yum. I was giving lots of friendly advice on how to create a Ikebana style arrangement at home. I love this cafe and the flowers wish I lived closer!

Wanted to gift my sister something really nice for Mother's Day. We lost our mom last year so it's a tough one for us. Had a bouquet shipped across the US! I was really worried about how fresh it would be or if it might get banged up. She just texted me "I just received the most beautiful flower arrangement of my life." Yay! That's what I was going for! Spendy but worth it.

I was going to buy a sympathy plant online, but felt uneasy. I called Calibri. The woman who answered was patient and had a lot of ideas. I decided to go in person (great idea!). She had pulled a bunch of plant ideas for me. Also: there are awesome lifestyle magazines, cool ornaments and rad candles here. The floral arrangements available are stunning. I wanted to buy local and show my co worker that I truly cared. We even talked about how to ensure the plants were pet safe. I tend to over think social situations- Colibri helped me send a nice plant to a friend. Also: they have a gorgeous plant I want to buy for myself, maybe in January! This store is a jewel.

Go there. It's gorgeous. You'll thank yourself. Get a coffee, get your mom flowers. No-- get her a house plant in a nice pot. She deserves it.

Quality beautifulflowers and they deliver locally and ships nationally! Love the service they provide. Definitely would order again and they have shipping across the nation.

There flowers look very different than what they show online. Then again I live outside of Pdx so not sure if they get damaged in transit. I've ordered twice from here and the flowers come out half dead looking or not fully bloomed.

I love this place so much. Walking into the shop is like walking into a jewel box jungle. Try not to micromanage the arrangement and just let them make art with flowers. They will. I promise.

Colibri is such a beautiful flower shop and definitely my go to! They always have a unique variety of flowers to choose from as well as houseplants, dried bouquets, a stunning collection of magazines and goodies for gifting (or keeping ). They recently started serving coffee+espresso too and it is really delicious!

My husband and I were across the street for lunch at Grain & Gristle and I saw Colibri's storefront full of plants. I thought, "oooo, I love a good plant shop" but had never heard of it. As we sat for lunch and looked it up I saw it was a prominent chef's new venture. Definitely peaked my interest. After lunch we walked across the street to go in. Upon entering, it's quite lovely inside and there were people sat, one working on his laptop, and another group sat together and wine tasting (?). Immediately I was interested in a plant with beautiful foliage, lifted it, gave it a spin, no label, no price. In a nursery pot so I'm only assuming it was for sale. I continued to look around the shop, looking at plants. Some haphazardly labeled; some potted, some in nursery pots. Perhaps the plants potted aren't for sale, I'm not sure. I looked up to make eye contact with anyone in the store and did a few times, but was never greeted. I was in the store for a total of 10 minutes. In that amount of time, there were at least 3 plants I would have purchased if there was ANY TYPE of customer service, however, I still don't know who actually worked there. No one made any attempt to say hello, ask if I had any questions, direct me in anyway, even to say "that plant isn't for sale". ABSOLUTELY NONE. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm a chef, and in my opinion this couple should stick to an industry they're good at.

I have ordered flowers from Colibri on at least three occasions over the past six months, and each arrangement has been more amazing than the one before it. My wife, the recipient, is a gardener with a very green thumb, so when she is impressed by a floral arrangement, I take notice. Colibri is creative and artistic in ways that are hard to achieve. I'm becoming a regular customer. Who can blame me?!

We used Colibri for our wedding flowers; we had boutonnieres, bouquets, corsages, and a hair comb made. Everything we received from Colibri was beautiful and exactly what we pictured. Bianca was amazing to work with -- she understood our vision right off the bat and was wonderful at making things work for our budget. Everyone I worked with at the shop was helpful and super friendly. I hung a few of the bouquets after the wedding -- they dried beautifully and I keep them in a vase on my dresser. Would highly recommend if you're looking for a local shop with great style.

I've been meaning to stop in and finally did today. I'm so glad I did! This shop is super cute with a selection of plants that isn't exactly the same as every other shop in town. They also have some great pottery and lovely florists! They were busy (day before Valentine's day) but not once did I feel ignored or forgotten about. The staff was super pleasant and friend and quickly put together a small bouquet for me. I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend!

My husband and I had a rather unorthodox wedding. We had the idea to make 3D printed vases as favors for our guests. We had Colibri do the flowers for each small bud vase. They turned out phenomenally. Bianca at Colibri took my aesthetic and the venue where our ceremony was into account, and thoughtfully created arrangements that felt entirely natural and beautiful in the space. Colibri also made us wearable flowers in the form of boutonnieres and flower crowns for special guests and us, the bride/groom. Everything was absolutely perfect. Thank you Colibri, I will come back to you all anytime I need flowers (for any reason!) in the future.

Beautiful shop, rude owners. I have sent a few people into the shop for special gifts and not one person left with a plant because they couldn't get any customer service . I live one house down and see the owner/employee often. He has never been friendly or neighborly. I have had to leave notes on his vehicle multiple times asking him not to block my driveway. He continues to block it or get as close as possible to blocking it even when there is space closer to his shop to pull forward. Their customers also like to block me in. Since they are not usually visiting for that long I wouldn't mind if he was in the least bit friendly or neighborly. There is a market next door so I know not all the people blocking my driveway are their customers but a good portion of them are. I work from home so I have come across this situation often. I don't think I would have gone to Expatriate or Beast had I known they lacked basic common courtesy.

I recently took a workshop there and it was so fun! Bianca and Nelson were very friendly and there was an amazing supply of beautiful flowers. Besides the beautiful flowers, there was wine with cheese and crackers and sweets. I came home with a beautiful flower centerpiece for my table and newfound respect for florists. Arranging is not as easy as you would think. This is the second workshop I have taken there and it won't be my last!

I've ordered floral arrangements from Colibri twice. Both were gorgeous and unique, and the delivery went smoothly. Will definitely keep getting my flowers from them.
