Forget your average sake, Denver. Colorado Sake Co. is here to unleash a brew-tastic revolution right in RiNo! We're not just talking about smooth sips and floral whispers – we're talking about sake that explodes with Rocky Mountain magic, crafted with local love and a touch of rebel spirit. Imagine Junmai Ginjo bursting with juicy fruit and honeyed bliss, perfect for your first sake tango or your hundredth. Or dive into the unfiltered, umami depths of our Nigori, a creamy adventure that'll leave your tastebuds singing opera. Zesty yuzu bubbles in our Sparkling Yuzu will have you doing the sake shuffle, and our seasonal sakes are like secret adventures for your palate – think peaches in the summer, pumpkins in the fall, and pure Colorado magic all year round. But Colorado Sake Co. is more than just liquid gold. We're building a vibrant community around Japanese culture, where sake tastings are like whispered secrets, food pairings are culinary symphonies, and cultural events paint the town with laughter and learning. So come, Denver, let's raise a glass (or three) to good vibes, good sake, and good times. We'll sake you to it!
"Colorado’s newest — and only — sake distillery offers up four unique sake-beer infusions combining its locally brewed sake with different hop varieties on Wednesday afternoon." - Camila Navarrette
"Colorado’s first sake tasting room just opened in town, and it’s been a long journey for owner and brewer Billy Stuart. He worked over two years with local legislators to amend the liquor law and allow sake to be sold like wine in the state. Now the tasting room is open (at 4 p.m. Friday), and it’s an ideal spot to break up the normal bar hopping. Offerings include full and half glasses, flights, cocktails, bottles, six-packs, and to-go growlers. Bonus: First flights are half-off this week in honor of street art festival Crush Walls." - Camila Navarrette
"Colorado Sake Company starts pouring this Saturday at 3559 Larimer Street in RiNo. For its opening, owner and brewer Billy Stuart is offering six types of the drink, including an unfiltered Palisade peach nigori and a clean and classic “American” junmai, not quite as dry as its Japanese inspiration." - Josie Sexton
