I don’t know who Colton is, but the dude has it figured out. Great low key atmosphere with friendly staff. The food didn’t disappoint either. I had the Thai Chili wings that’s were some of the best wings I’ve ever had. Crispy, spicy, and juicy all in one. I also had the Strawberry Fields Salad with Flank Steak. It was nothing short of amazing. The strawberry’s were fresh, the salad was plenty dressed, and the steak was perfectly cooked and tender. Great experience and we will be back!

Good location on Shaw Avenue with great ambiance - both indoor and outdoors. The place has a great vibe about it and their service is excellent. The menu is also very diverse and trendy with good ingredients and great taste. Affordable too! We had a quick dinner there and ordered their house salad, burgers, tender chicken fries. The Trouffle fries in olive oil garlic and Parmesan cheese were out of the world and a must-have for me. I highly recommend this place and will be going back soon on my next visit to Fresno.

The best thing about this place is the enthusiasm that Nick brings to his work making customers feel welcome and ensuring they are having an enjoyable time. Would definitely come back. P.S. parmesan fries and panko-crusted deviled eggs are awesome

Nice casual family restaurant. Our group of 6 were seated easily on a weekday evening. I like the variety of lemonade flavors.

The only thing I really loved were the drinks, tasted great and were strong! I enjoyed the food that my husband and friend got. The nachos were good, fish and chips were good as well. but the food I ordered besides the Mac and cheese and salmon was not the best. It was our only nearby option given the time and it was quite expensive considering the food was mediocre quality. The ambiance was nice and the servers and other staff were nice, but I think they could have paid a little more attention to our table. I normally have no issues with places but it is a pet peeve of mine to spend a decent amount of money on food that’s not satisfying.

Ok choices in craft beer and food selection. I ordered a house beer (pint $8), which was ok. I had the bacon avo smash burger and my buddy got the mac and cheese burger. Prices were about $18 to $22. Typical american bar food. A few other selections too if you dont want burger and fries. But the service was good and the atmosphere was really good and spacious.

The food here is usually decent, but the restaurant can get a little loud inside depending on what day you go here. The appetizers come out quickly and staff is nice. Brussel sprouts were good but the breading on fish was a little too oily for my taste. Zucchini had a good crunch to it. Their dipping sauces taste great.

Great meal tonight at Colton's. The food was fabulous and the service was excellent. Shout out to Travis for making our evening so pleasant.

Came in for a casual dinner and ended up having a great experience, thanks in large part to our server, Osvaldo. He was friendly without being over the top, checked in at the right times, and made sure our drinks stayed full without us having to ask. I ordered the 4 alarm burger and it definitely lived up to the name. Tons of flavor and just the right amount of heat without going overboard. The cocktails were also solid, well balanced and not overly sweet. Osvaldo made the whole meal easy and enjoyable. You could tell he knew the menu well and actually cared about making sure we had what we needed. Nothing felt rushed or forced, which we appreciated. Definitely coming back

Stumbled upon this place while staying in Clovis for the first time, and am glad we chose to eat here! The restaurant was lively but not overly loud and we got seated pretty quickly in a cozy booth. Our server, Travis, was fantastic! He was super friendly, helpful with recommendations, and funny. He really added to our dining experience. I really enjoyed the menu too, they had some delicious takes on appetizers--the bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers and sweet chili wings--were very unique, it was hard not to order more of them. Our main courses--the Peri Peri chicken and the house burger--were tasty as well and came in generous portions. The desert, oh man, so good! We really enjoyed ourselves (and maybe ate too much) and will definitely stop through again the next time we're in town!

This restaurant is now on my radar! Ii like the vibe of this place with televisions spread throughout to view sporting events if you choose. The beer list is extensive with plenty of craft beers to choose from. For an appetizer , I wanted to try the onion rings with their special Colton's sauce. Truth is - Applebee's makes better onion rings so I would recommend to pass on these. For an entree , my wife and I chose to split the Colton's burger . Pretty good burger , but a ridiculous wait time . We waited for 40 minutes , and the burger wasn't worth the wait. The battered fries were good especially dipping into the Colton's sauce. Overall, I would give this place a solid 3.5 stars and will boost up to 4 because I am feeling nice tonight. I want to come back and try more things on the menu to get a better feel on how they execute other menu items. Fun place to socialize , grab a drink, and casually watch the game .

Was in Fresno on business and needed a place for dinner. Colton's had a high rating so took the plunge and we were not disappointed. Kai was our server and knew the menu well. He started us with drinks and knew the beer menu very well. Guided me to an IPA that was awesome and paired with the rest of the meal. The egg rolls were recommended as starters and they were very good. Lots of beef and the sauce pared very well. We went with shrimp and shredded beef tacos. Both were packed full and came with great side causes. So good. Would definitely order these again. So much we had to take with us. Darn. Great place. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a low key place with great service and excellent food.

We came here during the week and the vibe is a good one along with the selection of food and drinks. My partner ordered the French dip, a friend ordered the bbq burger and I ordered the salad with a soup in a bread bowl. Everyone liked their food and thought the servings were pretty large. My partner said his French dip was good but smaller than the burger. My friend said her burger was too big, causing the contents of her burger to fall out. I thought the soup and salad menu was wrongly worded. On the menu, it said I could put my saws at salad in a bread bowl for $3 and so I asked for that, and was asked what kind of soup I wanted. Turned out the menu was wrong and should have said that you can put the soup in the bread bowl, not the salad. The price difference of that mistake was about $20, unfortunately. So this place is not cheap. The salad was basic. Ive also had the Brussel sprouts here and thought how I'd had better Brussel sprouts elsewhere. I think what you order on the menu can be a hit or miss. The coconut guava lemonade was amazing and very smooth. I would come back just for that drink. Staff were friendly and I like that this place is a spacious place.

I've only ordered to go from here before and this is my first time dining in. I went for a cousins birthday with a bunch of the girls. I started with a drink called mother of dragons. I liked it, the grapefruit and tequila. For food, I decided on the salmon Florentine. It sat on a bed of creamy mushroom and spinach risotto. It was sooo delicious, so rich! Loved it. The salmon itself was good too, wasn't dry at all! I got to try the baked truffle Mac and that too was tasty. And the atomic poppers was bomb. My friend ordered the nachos and they were huge! There's a lot of other stuff on the menu I want to try like their cowboy ribeye so I'll most definitely be returning.

Amanda at Colton's ... amazing! I usually never dine by myself at a restaurant/bar- but she made me feel welcome, which I love. Not from the area, but I will 100% be returning when in town. The food was great and it was such a lively environment (I was there on a Wednesday evening) :)

The burger was pretty bland. It had Mac & cheese on it and it tasted pretty bland. The only flavorful part of the burger was the BBQ pork and there wasn't really too much of it on the burger. The sticky toffee pudding was dry as the Sahara Desert...I can tell why they poured the sauce on top. It didn't permeate past the surface at all. The servers were nice and the ambiance was like a generic sports bar. I won't be coming back unless the quality of the food improves.

Introduced a new friend to Colton's and she loved it! We ordered the chili verde nachos and they were pretty spicy so just be aware! We were caught a little off guard.

Coltons continues to be one of my favorite go-to spots for craft cocktails and, seasonal food that anyone can enjoy, whether it's families with kids or people who want more adventurous dishes. I love that even though I have an extensive cocktail bar at home, there are always drinks here that I can't make myself because the syrups and bitters are so unique and interesting. The servers are great and it's fun to sit outside when the weather is nice. This is one of my regular spots and I'm never disappointed! Recently I've had exceptional service from Gianna (Travis and Kevin are also awesome!) but everyone takes such good care of you here!

This is my first time visiting. The next time I am in town I will stop by. The food was great, the atmosphere was relaxing. Travis my therapist did a great job introducing me to the menu, and reminded me it is time to take some time for myself. Great place and thank you Travis for your assistance. I really needed to just chill for a bit.

What a great spot! I come to Fresno 1x a month for work and this is my new spot! Located on the edge of a huge shopping area the inside vibe and ambiance of this post is great plus if you want to sit outside that's available as well but yesterday it was over 100 degrees so no thanks! I sat at the bar and had absolutely 5 star service. For dinner I had the shrimp tacos and have to say probably some of the best I have had. These tacos are loaded with shrimps and for the price the 3 they come with are a great value. The flavors were outstanding and could barely finish them. Plus I started with the chips and salsa and while this was a little bland to me it was still pretty good. Overall great spot and can see why they have won so many awards in the area for different things. I would highly recommend this place!

This place has super good reviews so had to come try it out. The directions were a little cumbersome, so follow Google maps exactly. I elected to sit at the bar top because I was solo. Had music playing, but wasn't so loud you wouldn't be able to hear the people you're with. A quick review of the menu and I found like 8 things I wanted. Cierra was super helpful in giving recommendations, so I settled on the firehouse burger. I dare say the burger was one of the best I have had. Ever. I was a little concerned about HOW spicy the burger would be. For me, it was just spicy enough that i was on the verge of sweating. Perfection. And the beer battered fries, 12/10. Looking forward to coming back and trying more stuff on their menu!

After going to many overrated restaurants recently, this place hit the spot. I'm from Roseville/the greater Sacramento area, and this place had some of the best comfort food I've had in a while. All food was hot, tasty, and unique in quality. Bison Burger was juicy, fries were large and plentiful. My partner enjoyed the lemonade, saying it was some of the best. This place is not cheap, but it's worth the price. The most notable thing for my partner and I was our waiter, Kye. Kye had a lot of personality and was very special. He gave us good, honest recommendations on the menu, as well as a refill discount on our lemonade. He was also mindful to not rush our dessert when we were still eating. My partner said Kye was their favorite waiter they have had in a long time, maybe ever. My birthday is actually tomorrow, and I didn't say it to Kye or any other workers. But the service and food quality here made it feel like it was my birthday. Would come back again, even to make another 3 hour road trip for this place. Thanks!

Service was great. Very attentive and quick with the orders. Inside is a bit dim and felt overly crowded. The restrooms was very hot and steamy, no cold air flow and it gets packed since there is only 2 stalls. Food was delicious, everything we chose was quite nice and unique. I would definitely come back to try other dishes along with their drink options. Lots to choose from. Price ranges from $15 and up from appetizers, starters and entrees. Large portions, everything is shareable. The Birria eggrolls were goood, the strawberry salad, the wings came out good but I would try a different sauce. I ordered the PERI PERI wings, flavor can be new to others but it wasn't bad. The flat bread was good. Truffle Mac was creamy and delicious. The atomic bombs which basically are bacon wrapped jalapeño were bomb. We ordered the mother dragon drink? It's like a dragon fruit margarita or cocktail, strong and delicious. Will be coming back!

Busy place for a Wednesday evening! I had a 15 minute wait for a party of One!! The cup of clam chowder was good but the quadruple roasted Brussel sprouts were so crisp that no green at all was showing. It also tasted like vinegar on them ...I would not recommend them. The Cheddar Cheese biscuits looked promising - and were crispy on the top but soft and very oily on the bottom..,again, not my style. Both the server as well as the manager came by to check on me, which I appreciate! They asked if they could do anything to make the meal better but really, I'd say that once the items left the kitchen, 'making them better' was way out of their control..... Go for the beer and burgers and enjoy the service and the big screen TVs. Do avoid those burnt Brussel Sprouts though - you'll be glad you did!

We came in a couple weeks ago for dinner with my dad before his flight out of Fresno. Colton's is not far and a good choice for American food. We sat on the patio. I was able to make a reservation online so there was no wait when we arrived. Service was good, we were checked on several times. They also had Pliney the Elder on tap so that was cool. I ordered a wedge salad and it was a little disappointing but only because I am so picky about dressing. Not sure what I was thinking getting something with a creamy dressing already on the salad. I took it home and to my surprise I enjoyed it after adding lettuce so there wasn't so much dressing. My husband ordered wings and loved them. My dad ordered the tacos and thought they were ok, had to ask for salsa. Dad's friend ordered the tie tip sandwich which is supposed to be a house specialty but not that night; the sandwich was incredibly dry. He mentioned it to the waitress and the manager took it off the bill so that was nice. We really didn't see the inside of the restaurant but bathrooms are very clean.

Just me & the hubs for dinner on a Saturday night. We decided to go last minute, but luckily there was no wait for a table. They have plenty of seating indoors, on the patio, and at the bar. Our cousin said they have the best burgers, so we both ordered "the Smash," which isn't a "smashburger" at all, but is referring to the avocado "smash" (i.e. basically a chunky guacamole). It's a 1/2 pound beef patty cooked to order with bacon, cheese, and the usual accompaniments. Oh man, this was clearly one of the best burgers I've ever had! The beef patty was quality, not dry or greasy. Crispy strips of bacon, fresh avocado, nice lightly toasted brioche bun that held this big burger together. Fries were crispy and fresh tasting also. We ordered a side of onion rings for our appetizer, which were way too oily and basic. Not a good thing to start off with. Would try a different ap, or just wait for the main course. It's a lot of food! Good service on top of that great burger was 5 stars for me! Pro tip: I think they rotate items on the menu seasonally or sooner, so things we saw online were not available on the actual dining menu. But I'm pretty sure you'll be able to find something at Colton's you will love!

Colton's Social House nails the trifecta: quality food, cool ambiance, and exceptional service--and Travis is the MVP of that last category. Travis wasn't just a waiter; he was the highlight of our evening. Friendly without being overbearing, and genuinely funny. His timing was impeccable, and his recommendations were spot-on. Absolute flavor bomb. The lighting is moody but not dim, music is upbeat but not blaring--basically, someone really thought through the vibe here. If Travis ever writes a book of diner-table stories, I'm buying it. Until then, I'll just keep coming back for more.

We ordered the Parmesan chicken sandwich and four alarm burger with Margherita flat bread as an appetizer. The portion sizes were huge. The flat bread was good. The burger was extremely greasy, so much so that I can taste the grease hours after the meal. They did try adding lettuce, tomatoes and pickled onions but they were no match. They added an atomic popper jalapeño. However, the cheese and bacon wrap so overwhelmed with grease that the jalapeño literally vanished in flavor. The chicken in the sandwich was dry. Service was okay. We asked to be seated outside and they seated us inside (even though there were plenty of seats). They also seated us by the kitchen when there was so much space inside and they did seat folks who came afterwards in better seats. Weird.

We stopped in as out-of-towner's while here for a wedding. The "vibes" were much more family oriented, laid back, have some beers type of place - was expecting a more upscale experience but all good nonetheless because the food is damn good. Worth the hype. Zucchini fries for an app, 2 burgers for dinner and maybe the best thing we had - the fries! Wowzer. Which we lived here and could try all the entree's!

Nice place to relax, watch a game and just hang out with a friend. They definitely don't rush you out, so it was nice to slow down and spend some time while not feeling constantly bothered by your server - who was really awesome! I ordered the Cobb salad. It was good, but the chicken tasted like it was taken straight from the refrigerator - tasted cold and little hard. Would've been nice if it was fresh or at least heated. My friend ordered the burger and she said it was good. The drink we ordered was the farmers daughter. Good, but it was pre mixed and I thought it would be made fresh. It was only slightly cold. My suggestion would've been to shake it with some ice as least so it tasted fresh because all of the puree sat at the bottom. Good flavor, but I was an expecting a fresh made cocktail for $16. Lastly we ordered the kitchen sink panookie. That was a crowd favorite and would definitely come back just for that. Chocolate chip cookie, pretzel, potato chip (yes! But it's a hint and just the right amount), toffee, sea salt, chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. Wow!

Decent food. Great service. I know think they should keep up the scrolling of photos of menu items on the extra screens in the place. That really helped me decide what to order and even upsold me on a delicious cocktail.

This location is a standalone in the mall parking lot. There is plenty of parking. We went around 5pm mid week and got a table right away. The waitress is called a social therapist. All the cocktails looked good but we didn't try any. The place wasn't busy so it was quiet but I don't think that is typical once the crow grows. The food was decent. They didn't have gluten free buns for the burgers so I went without a bun for the burger. My aunt didn't like her charred asparagus but it took a while for another option to be provided. I did like some of their sauces for the fries.

Why have I always passed by and not come in?!! I'm so mad at myself but found forgiveness after finally giving this place a try! Hubby and I came after a night at the driving range and they were one of the very few places open late night. Our server was so patient and attentive. Plenty of seating. Didn't have to wait more than 5 min. The vibe was totally it.

Super glad this place was opened on the 4th of July. Not only were lots of places closed but the menu looked great and we really wanted to eat here. Thankfully it did not disappoint. We sat in the bar and had great service. Our server was super nice and very helpful with recommendations for our drinks and dinner. We started with a nice glass of wine and beer. I had the mushroom/ Gruyère flatbread which had a ton of flavor and was cooked perfectly. My husband had the 4 Alarm Hamburger but our server suggested subbing the ghost pepper cheese for pepper jack. My husband took that suggestion and said his hamburger and the fries were fantastic. We were full so that was it for our meal but I highly recommend this place.

We are long time fans of Colton's. They have great food, drinks, and are family friendly. They always have great service. Our favorite server is Travis, who goes above and beyond. We have a toddler with Down syndrome and he goes out of his way to make dining out a pleasant experience for her, and in turn, us. He's a gem!

I rarely order a burger when I'm in a restaurant that offers other choices. But then I had a burger at Coltens and I was sold! So it saddens me to write a less favorable review. The last couple times my burger was too heavily peppered and the bun was dry. If a restaurant is going to offer a toasted bun, they need to keep the top away from the fire. The bun comes out hard and dry. I will say they have the best fries! And I usually don't eat fries when I get them. Also need to up the syrup in their Diet Coke. Has no flavor! Their wait staff are great!

If I could give this review another star I would! This was one of the best restaurant service/ atmospheres I've ever experienced! The food was beyond impeccable and the service was very timely. But most importantly the staff was incredible! Savannah was my server and she made me feel like we had been friends for years, if you go there ask for her and you will not be disappointed! The other staff treated me as if I was a good friend as well! I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat bomb food, get it fast, enjoy a good game on the tv, drink amazing drinks, talk to people that make you feel like family, and just have an amazing time!

Got sat for a party of 8 on a Friday in about 15 minutes, which I thought was awesome! Mariah G was our server and despite a busy restaurant she was attentive and kept checking on us.

In town for work. missed lunch, needed an early dinner. Found Colton's here on Yelp, lots of p reviews, thought I'd give it a try. Glad I did. Nice decor, friendly staff and clean. I had the 1/4 Horse burger and the parm fries. Birger was cooked perfectly, medium rare, with lots of cheese and veggies! But the fries stole the show! Between the seasoning and the truffle ranch dressing, OMG SOOOO GOOOD! HIgbo recommend!

Everything was perfect as always. The food was great and Travis is literally the best server in town. Definitely check this place out and ask for Travis when you do!

Colton's, especially the outdoor seating area, is gorgeous at night! We came on a day with a nice summer breeze, so opted to sit outside this time. The tables used to be so close together, but this time they were more spaced out! I really appreciate having a little more personal space especially with the tables of two. Menus were just pieces of paper held together by a clipboard so they weren't super sanitary. Our server Nick was so friendly and optimistic! Not only was he very attentive to list my allergies when taking my order, but he came and checked up on us often during our visit. Service itself was a solid 5/5! Now for the food: Nachos (4/5): Great nachos! Our server did request the avocado dressing on the side because I was allergic, but the kitchen didn't comply to the request. Totally okay-- I didn't want to bother them to remake so I ended up just eating around it. The nachos themselves are filling and have a good amount of toppings. Meat came in big chunks. Would've been nice if the meat + toppings were a little more spread out (like layered)! Therapy Burger (5/5): My boyfriend loves this burger; It's packed with pulled pork, a patty, mac, and sauces. The fries on the side were also great! I stole many of them. Adult Mac (3.5/5): The online menu says the price of adding a meat, but the paper menu they give you doesn't-- so ask! Regular chicken/beef is $8 but I got *crispy* chicken for $7. I'm not sure about shrimp or the other types of meat. For the price, I do think the cutlet was a little small. Also, they weren't lying when they said crispy chicken! I did think it was a bit thin and a liiiitle too crispy! As for the Mac, it was better than I remember! The portion size was smaller than I'd hoped, but at the end of the night I still left full. The Mac was also covered in breadcrumbs which is an absolute plus! Overall such a great experience! The excellent service, aesthetically pleasing dining area, and good food make me want come to Colton's way more often.

I cannot say anything bad about this place. I have tried about 10 different food items on the menu and all of them have been amazing. You cannot go wrong with any of their burgers - and their beer battered fries are absolutely delicious (must try with their ranch or chipotle aioli). Their wings are soooo good and their nachos are amazing if you eat pork. Their flatbreads are also a high recommendation. Alcoholic beverages are very tasty and inexpensive. Definitely a great place to go with friends and family.

Had an amazing time at Colton's! Matt P. Was is an amazing bartender! Made us amazing drinkings actually some of the best we had! Really surprised me and my wife! This is a great place and he made that much more special!

Ordered the steak au poivre sandwich (medium on the steak) and it was pretty good- but the real winner was the sweet potatoes fries. Pros- -Came in on a Sunday close to 10 and didn't have to wait for a table. -food was good -plenty of menu options -sourdough bread Cons- -out of Gouda cheese for sourdough bread so we had to get Swiss -being sat next to the restroom when 80% of the restaurant was empty

The food is quite decent and the vibes/atmosphere are great. Sometimes it can be a little loud depending on the time and day you go. Their Thai chili social wings are my favorite. Burgers are delicious. Portion is generous in proportion to the pricing. Drinks are decent as well. Services were friendly and efficient. A nice place to go and hang out with friends and family.

This is a great place to eat with the family or sit at the bar and have some drinks and food. Food selection is always great and the menu changes often so you always have some new changes . Our server Moses was great, friendly,listened to questions we asked, had all the answers. Moses was attentive and checked often but not to much. Highly recommend to ask for Moses, you won't be disappointed. The company made a great choice hiring him.

The waiter was friendly and immediately brought everyone to a table. The wait wasn't long and a waiter brought out some waters. I ordered the vegan dumplings and they were absolutely delicious!! They were crispy and the sauce was so savory, it paired amazing with the tofu veggie filling. My siblings ordered their own food and they claimed that their food was delicious as well. The waiter was very attentive and refilled waters. I just wish there were more dumplings or the prices were cheaper lol. Overall everyone had a great time and it's definitely a nice place to go out and eat. There's something there for everyone!

Went here on coincidence thinking it was Fresno on Yelp, had one of the best restaurant experiences not just food-wise, but the service. We were served by Kyle (Kye), and he was one of the most memorable and MAYBE the best servers that we've had in a while! He was checking up our table making sure we had our food, had the best personality, and felt like we were just friends chatting it up. I don't have pictures of the food (ate it already), but got the salmon and lemonade (the coconut guava lemonade was the best) and the quality was top-tier. Whoever is management here, Kyle deserves a raise or at least a bonus! I wrote this review because the service made an impact on me (and even my day) when I was feeling down. Would definitely come here again for not just the food, but for the service :)
