Customer service gets ZERO stars from me. The elderly employees are beyond rude and disrespectful. I Went in at 7:30pm, so maybe they were tired from a long day... still no excuse to be nasty to customers.
On a positive note, I have ordered from this restaurant on multiple occasions with door dash and have came to the restaurant 3 different times. Usually there is a younger employee who is always personable, professional, and does his best to provide exceptional customer service. So it's really unfortunate that I have to leave this review about this establishment, but my experience tonight was unbelievable and needs to be shared.
When I walked in there was one couple ordering before me. The place wasn't busy yet for some reason the lady who was taking my order was rude, pushy, and rushing as though there a whole line waiting. She was huffing and puffing, yelling at me and in so many words saying hurry up, while I was trying to order.
Ultimately, the combo that I got came with 3 entrees. The box they put the food in has two small compartments and one large compartment. Some people do not mind all of their food being piled on top of each other like garbage, unfortunately I'm not one of those people. I do not like certain flavors to mix. I do not want bbq sauce from bbq pork to mix with my beef and broccoli and alter the entire flavor of the dish. This sent the employee into an uproar.
Her and other employees yelled and screamed and even went as far as showed me the people that ordered prior to me's food saying "this is how combo B is! Not in separate containers!" I explained to them calmly that I understood that and would gladly pay for an extra box for them to place my 3rd entree in. They then stated "ok it will be extra charge!" I let them know again that I was okay with paying extra, and asked how much? They yelled and screamed that they don't separate the items again, ultimately my husband asked "how much is the box so we can pay you guys?" They told us "$5.00 more!"
I literally had to giggle because $5.00 more for a styrofoam box was crazy. Scolding me for the way I prefer my food was diabolical. Opening another customers whole box to try to peer pressure me into accepting something that I didn't want, was nasty work as well.
Ultimately I made the decision that I will never ever spend a dollar of mine at this establishment again. The customer doesn't have to always be right, but it's our food... if we want it a certain way the choice is ours... especially if we are willing to pay extra for it. This is a free country, you don't get to dictate what people are paying for.
