"Among a renovated transmission shop sits Common Fields, a taproom and food cart incubator located in downtown Corvallis. The site is home to Mediterranean cart Kalamata Bistro, German and Bavarian food served by Black Forest Kitchen, and Salvadoran cuisine crafted by family-owned cart Pupuseria Del Valle. The newest addition, Common Kitchen, offers a new rotating menu that offers a weekly pop-up selection of food prepared by local chefs and vendors. The taproom’s draft list offers 16 taps pouring lagers, stouts, IPAs, and wild and sour ales from independently owned Oregon craft breweries. It hosts recurring weekly events, such as a Monday game night and live music on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as monthly comedy and drag shows. Complete with a covered play area for children and games for adults, it’s open for onsite (dog-friendly) dining, as well as takeout." - Mariah Botkin, Sukhjot Sal

Google
This place is such a gem! I was visiting from out-of-state and wish there was something like this near me. At least three food trucks with a large variety of food, lots of alcoholic drinks on tap and some local food items for sale. I can imagine this would be such a fun place to meet up with friends, family or coworkers. Food was super yummy and fresh tasting!

Google
Place is awesome. Came on the recommendation from an friend. Did not disappoint. Get a ginger ale. Or three. It's that good. Friendly staff. Will definitely return if we come through town again.

Google
Limited parking. One handicapped space. Plastic spork and knife, self-service pick up and bus. Uneven floor surfaces. Food 'truck' court is popular trend. It is nice to have dining options.

Google
Affordable and delicious food trucks on site. Good variety of drinks available. Loved the misters on the hot day we visited! They also had a play area that would be great for kids. Drag Show was super fun (first Friday of every month)!

Amit Sarker

Google
A variety of cuisine to choose from, a small bar and a outdoor place to enjoy your meal while in the sun. During the days when there's a live performance, it gets so lively!

Google
What a great oasis in this heat wave!! The mist sprayers and shade are top notch and really great for my dog too. Seriously a perfect environment to escape the heat so my very heat susceptible pup and I can come out even though it's 100+ outside.

Google
Several interesting food truck options. And a diverse tap list with more options in the cooler. Some covered seating. I attend Kenzie B. Valentine's First Friday Drag Show and it is ALWAYS a great time rain or shine! If it rains, bring an umbrella because covered seating is limited. Highly recommend attending! April-October every first Friday of the month!

Google
Loved the Kalamata bistro food and learning how to dance 🇨🇺 Cuban salsa! Great fun for the whole family.

Yelp
Really fun atmosphere. We got the chicken shawarma and gyro. Both were really good. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Love coming here. Good music and chill ambience. Love that it's dog friendly. My sister likes the jalapeño and cheese papusa. I've tried the vegan chili which was very good and we've gotten the gyros and falafel a few times. We ordered from the Black Forest Kitchen for the first time recently and the sausages were so good! I'm not a sausage fan and I went and ordered a second plate for the table. It was that good. I would have bought any of the sides separately too. The potato salad, cucumber salad, sauerkraut and cinnamon apples were so good. Tried every combo together and it's all delish. Definitely exceeded my expectations and will order again.

Deb L.

Yelp
Great atmosphere but the German food was not that great. I didn't have the sausage. Potato salad wasn't edible. Chicken paperika was not so good but ate half. I would get gyro next time.

Andy V.

Yelp
I went here because they had a poke pop up and just had to try it! It's was decent with the avocado being too salty and the price being way too high at $20 for the small bowl. The falafel wrap for $9 was great, I loved the bread and the falafel itself! The round it off a blueberry blackberry fruit soda that was unlike anything I've had before it was amazing! Other than that the area was really clean and relaxing and the employees were extremely nice, I would come back again just for the feel of the place!

Yelp
My partner and I just found this place and we love it! It's our new favorite spot in Corvallis. Great beers on tap, great selection of food trucks, amazing outdoor dining set-up, and the staff is 10/10. We've come for bingo and game night now, and enjoyed both weekly events! Prices are reasonable too. As far as drinks go, they have 16 selections of locally brewed beers on tap + ciders + wines + and cans of locally brewed beers for purchase. I really enjoyed the Maybe It's Beer??? and the Peche. For food, we've tried Kalamata and Ojisan's Ramen so far. We got the chicken shawarma and lamb wrap, and shoyu ramen, respectively. All of it was delicious. We look forward to being back a lot more!

Yelp
Nifty idea for a food court set in an unusual space: Common Fields is a collection of four small food trucks on the site of a former gas station. In addition to Greek (well, Mediterranean), German, Burmese and Salvadoran cuisine, there is a permanent structure housing a bar with many local offerings (beers, ciders, wines, etc.). The quality of the food and its pricing makes it a good spot to get a tasty lunch on a sunny day. The space itself encourages making that lunch leisurely. If it's raining--hardly an unusual phenomenon in Corvallis--you can certainly get that meal to go. Personal faves were the chicken schwarma and the Muhammara dip at the Greek spot. Well worth a trip if you haven't been.

Yelp
Kalimantan Bistro could be the Best Lamb Gyro I've ever had. Just got back from Greece, they put French Fries in their Gyro's. Not a fan. This place blows them out of the water!!! When in Corvallis, Or, it's a must!

Yelp
Seating is competitive on trivia night, parking is nonexistent lol. Lines were long, food was okay, kids corner is underwhelming. Vibe is good, bathrooms on site were clean which was nice.

Sydney T.

Yelp
Amazing beer garden with super friendly staff and great ambiance. I tried the Shoyu ramen from Ojisan's Ramen truck and a Chicken Shawarma (not pictured here). Food was delicious and came out very quickly. I came on a Sunday at 5:30 pm so there was free bingo going on. The host of bingo was very lively and did a great job engaging with participants (and they were a great bartender!). All of the bartenders were very knowledgeable and patient in helping me figure out what I might like. I tried 5-6 beers on taps, and my favorites were Maybe It's Beer??? And Woodchopper. All in all, I had a great experience and I'm so excited to have these food carts in Corvallis!

Yelp
Honest review. I think Common Fields is a super cool spot with great vibes, but the food has gotten worse in the past year. The new vendors they brought in are way overpriced and the portion sizes are downright awful. The food is decent but the amount you get makes you shake your head. Common Fields used to be better, but they need to fix their food. Even their beer sizes have decreased. You cannot get a pint at this establishment... I don't know who to blame, owner or inflation, but until I see improvement I don't think I'll be eating there for a while.

Cindy L.

Yelp
There were only two food trucks opened. We tried a few from each truck. They are good. Beer is delicious. To top it off the bingo game was fun

Ally D.

Yelp
Great spot for meeting a group or just a few folks. They have live music often and a great beer selection. Plus, now the pupuseria is there!

Kayla V.

Yelp
This place was great. My bf and I were visiting from Eugene because we had a pint passport that included a few places in Corvallis. This place was on the list. We each had a beer and a few of the dishes from the food carts outside. My beer was the oat soda from Baerlic. It was a nice easy drink. I forgot what my bf ordered. Then I got the coconut chicken soup and veggie samosas from Nai Nai's Burmese food outside. It was delicious! My bf ordered a chicken shwarma from the other food cart. That was good too! I love how the outdoor seating has heat lamps and heated seats! The bathroom was clean and even had women's sanitary napkins. Awesome!

Yelp
I was super tired and super hungry and it was not good. Nothing really stood out. It a nice place to meet. I like the atmosphere. It's the only food cart place around. For Corvallis, it's not that bad. I feel they could have more options. Nice cozy heated benches and a friendly atmosphere. Common fields Service behind the ordering counter was mediocre to okay. I like the Pupusas. I've had better lamb gyros in town. Good place to relax and people watch. Great game collections!

K B.

Yelp
Nice selection of beers with friendly service. I tried the German food tonight. It was ok. The pork schnitzel sliders were a bit disappointing. They seemed a bit overcooked/overfried/burnt as if the oil had gotten old. I don't think I'd opt for those again.

Pam R.

Yelp
We are here for the third time on our visit to Corvallis! Great beer (love the Pink Lemonade sour) and food! We've ate from the ramen truck (Ojisan's), Zia Burritos (meat and veggie burritos were all fabulous), and Kalamata Bistro (loved everything, but tip top baklava) and Terra's Tastee Treats....the desserts are amazing (and the sandwiches look fabulous but didn't have one, yet).

Chris G.

Yelp
This was stop 5 on our Pub Crawl from out hotel to Reeser stadium. We had a few beers and their prices are great! What's not to like, cheap beer and fun atmosphere! Staff was very friendly and on task.

Jessica N.

Yelp
Got listeria from some food I purchased here. Wound up in the hospital, on machines to prevent my organs from failing while the medicine did its' work. Don't recommend.

Jill S.

Yelp
Hosted a business get together here. The owner set aside a section for us and even though his space was quite full early on a nice Thursday Fall evening, staff was very warm, welcoming and accommodating. Much appreciated!!

Kristin K.

Yelp
I still like Common Fields, however, the only truck that has remained the same is the Kalamata Bistro. Terra's Tastee Treats where I got the delicious peanut butter pie moved a block away to a spot on 4th St. The other original trucks I guess just went out of business.

Yelp
"Beer gardens and food trucks are soooo hott right now" But for real though.. This is a great one. I've driven past this thing from conception to opening, always excited at the way it looked. It's about time Corvallis got a "Beer Garden" and I was hoping it was gonna be good and this one didn't disappoint. Classy, local, and quaint are three words I would use. The pours are small [but they're all delicious and local and cost the right amount], and the food is all fantastic. 3 trucks: Greek, Mexican, and southern. All have delicious options on any given day. If you've been passing it on 3rd on your way into town like I have, do yourself a favor and drop in. You'll be glad you did.

Yelp
Visited Common Fields on a recent trip to Corvallis. What a great place. Large selection of beers, great food, and amazing atmosphere. The owner, Jacob, and manager Dave, and the staff, Desiree and Alex were all so welcoming and friendly. Although some of the place is outdoors, they have firepits and heated seats. There is also an indoor area that is very comfy and inviting. Highly recommend if you are visiting Corvallis, or live there, to go by and check out Common Fields.

Yelp
Short walk from our hotel, awesome chicken katsu over rice w/scallions for a light seasoning and small scoop of Mac salad. The panko batter was light w/a nice crisp, also had their veggie gyoza-delish! Next we will try the Greek truck!

Chad B.

Yelp
It's fun and easy. But beer seems flat and food is priced like a sit down restaurant.

Trenton G.

Yelp
This place is such a great addition to Corvallis! Amazing food and a great place to hang out and grab a drink. I'm very excited to make it a regular spot on weekends with friends. Very friendly and fast food service.

Matt W.

Yelp
Fantastic vibe in this tap house/food cart pod. Kids and dogs are always welcome. The new stage is ready for CF to become the new live music venue! It's fun now but summertime is gonna be amazing.

Natalie S.

Yelp
I seriously adore this place! It's my best go-to spot for lunch and a beer. All the food trucks have amazing food, but I highly recommend Zia. Staff working the indoor beer portion are always super helpful with beer selection and very friendly.

Hannah P.

Yelp
delicious food for a decent price and a great setting. staff were all incredible. definitely going to be one of my go tos from now on

Kristina W.

Yelp
Please, add this to your "places to stop at" list. You will not be disappointed! Such a fantastic variety of food and drink to choose from, everyone will be happy. So worth the stop - thank you!

Tammy S.

Yelp
We stopped by on our trip through the area. GREAT place to hang out, enjoy some great wine. The atmosphere and food carts are tastefully done.

Mark S.

Yelp
LOVED this place. Great drinks, many food options, and fun vibe. I visited during a vacation and wish I could spend more time here. Some vegan options at the ramen and mediterranean places. There was a play area for kids and corn hole, board games, etc for adults. Fantastic concept and nice outdoor eating area.

Roy R.

Yelp
Have been there twice - going again- well designed and managed - congratulations to the crew

Cameron M.

Yelp
Amazing spot. Super friendly staff. Considerate accommodations. Delicious food and select beers. Go here.
