"Common Roots Farmers Market, a sprawling neighborhood grocery with a dog-friendly patio and plant nursery, is finally opening in Avondale Estates Saturday, April 22. Owned by Brock Nix, a former U.S. Foods territory manager, Common Roots sells a variety of local produce, meats and seafood from Georgia farms and snacks, pantry provisions, and frozen goods from local food producers like Rock Hill Creamery, Herbs and Kettle, and Barlow’s Foods. The grocery also sells coffee, wine, beer, and fresh bread and flowers and includes a deli for grab-and-go food." - Beth McKibben
