"Common Roots Farmers Market, a neighborhood grocery with a plant nursery, opens nearby early next year on Covington Highway. Owned by former U.S. Foods territory manager Brock Nix, the market will sell local produce and meats and seafood from Georgia farms, a variety of snacks, pantry provisions, local coffee, and frozen goods from local food producers.
