The common table would be our go to place to eat if we lived closer! Everything from the service, food portions and taste, cleanliness to the pricing is spot on. We came in with minutes to spare because I read the opening/closing hours incorrectly and they were still ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. I’m still talking about our experience a month later! This place is a must if you are visiting Chattanooga!

Food is pretty decent here, the service was really good. This is a cool place to take kids because as an indoor playground, well they do until somebody gets hurt and they sue the place. The kitchen area is also pretty cool because there’s nothing but play glass separating the tables from the kitchen so you can see everything going on. This is clearly a part of the church in some form of fashion with the churches daycare next door also so there is a Church vibe, which is cool enough.

This place is fantastic! The food is just amazing! Great prices also:) we will definitely be back! The waitress was spot on and so sweet!

Significant Food Safety Issues - One of our party ordered a salad and had requested Blue cheese. The waitress returned a short time after and apologetically informed us that the Kitchen staff had indicated that the Blue Cheese had spoiled and they did not feel comfortable serving it. When a different waitress brought out our food, it included the Blue Cheese. We expressed our concern and she had no idea what we were talking about. It's extremely concerning that Kitchen staff would deem a food item unsuitable to serve, but have it accessible for waitstaff all the same. You really need to have a system in place that prevents this sort of thing before you get someone sick.

Their food is absolutely delicious! Prices are very reasonable for what you get. Love to come here with friends and let our kids play in the play area while we get to chat. On top of this, the wait staff is so friendly and I absolutely love the mission behind this restaurant. Support this local gem!

Stopped for dinner a good decision. The emphasis is on farm to table. You can taste the freshness in all the dishes. My wife and I shared a Pizza Bianca (garlic, bechamel, spinach, onions, and sausage) also sweet potato fries. A great combination of flavors we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. One of the desserts caught our eye a banana bread pudding with pineapple, mango sauce and a chocolate ginger sauce. It was an awesome combination of flavors. One of the best desserts we had. The service was good and attentive. Definitely a place I would like to come back, when we visit Chattanooga.

Three people were in pursuit party. My food was warm - about room temp. The other two had hot (normal just cooked) temp. The service was great a d the atmosphere. Biscuit and gravy with eggs is just not as good at room temperature.

Went here on a whim, and oh yes am I glad we did! My son and I had time to kill in the area and decided to have lunch here. We had the whipped feta which is the BEST appetizer I have ever eaten at a restaurant. That is high praise! It has it all!! It is tangy, it has a hint of sweet, salty. It is served with warm fresh pita. I would travel several hours just to come back for this! I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato soup which was really good however, the soup was lukewarm which made it not worth paying for in my opinion, but the grilled cheese made up for it. It had sweet jam, apple slices and warm delicious cheese and perfectly toasted bread. Well done! My son had some sort of pasta dish that he really enjoyed. If you’re in the area I highly recommend. The kitchen is surrounded in glass so that you can see your food being prepared. The atmosphere is very cool vibes with friendly service. They bring you cute pitchers filled with ice water so that you’ll not be thirsty waiting on a server. I will say that the dessert we ordered was a fail. But that’s ok, there was a lot more good than that one miss.

I came here for lunch with a friend on Saturday and we enjoyed it :) mainly deducting a star for vibes - it was like dead silent in there while we were finishing up lunch lol. It was a little more busy when we came in but it definitely got awkwardly quiet closer to 1pm. They didn't have any music playing and the place is kinda big, plus noise tends to echo, so that made our conversation a bit more public than I would like. The church chairs also were kind of messing with the vibe. Looking back, I'm not surprised at all to find out the restaurant is affiliated with a church. But the food was great! My friend enjoyed her pizza and I liked my burger and fries. I think the burger could have had some more flavor to it and more cheese, but the bun was awesome and the fries were amazing. I'd definitely order the fries again. If you're looking for a vibey restaurant to have a private conversation, this is not the place for you lol. But if you're meeting up with a group or idk... are cool with eating in a quiet churchy atmosphere then this is a good place to go. The food is solid and our server was great. They also have their own parking lot, which makes things easy.

This was...different. Located next door (attached to) the church and owned by the pastors. A huge space, which functions as the restaurant (and is found under two names on Yelp) and as a gathering space. Hours are funky, and we missed breakfast by a hair, so we wound up ordering off the lunch menu. Service was very good, despite the excruciatingly long wait with a largely empty restaurant. Food was absolutely delicious, and we would visit again. Bring patience with you but do give it a try...

Interesting spot attached to a church. Parking threw us for a loop as they blocked off their direct entrance on a Sunday morning and was funneling through the church entrance off the side road. Ample seating inside and out and was not very busy at 1030am. Service was friendly and attentive. Brunch menu had less options on it than the version online but had a decent amount of breakfast and lunch items (ie burger, wings, salads, pizza). Wife ordered western omelette and I went with the choose your own bfast with eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and a biscuit. Food definitely took too long to come out (30 min after we ordered) but it was good once it finally came out (biscuit was huge and fluffy). Couple other observations, good many kids here bc of location to the church and the fact they have a playground area. Wasn't as loud as you'd expect but there were some toddlers wandering around at times. Also, with the open front door and raise up garage doors, we were hounded incessantly by flies during our meal.

The online menu is different from the one in store. We went for Brunch over the weekend and were disappointed in the items I was hoping to get. Service was fine. Restaurant was very clean.

Burger week continues and on Thursday, first stop is a restaurant I've never visited. Affiliated with a local church, I applaud their mission to support recovering addicts. The burger wasn't bad, and I think there were some missed opportunities to really accentuate flavors with just some minor tweaking of the ingredients, as an example, the candied jalapeños were just too tiny to contribute to the overall flavor. Service was good, a very friendly and helpful staff. Clean restaurant, but rather cold and plain.

Parking gets confusing right around noon on a Sunday as it is right next to a church (it might actually be attached to the church as our friends kids played with the toys.) Most entrances were closed off or the church. I had the Bianca pizza. The crust of the pizza was a bit chewy, but overall it was okay. There is a playground for the kids. I can see this being a good place in the fall to eat with the kids.

I had the Biscuits and Gravy, 2 over easy eggs, and a cup of coffee. The food was solid, small servings though. the eggs were done just right. coffee was what you would expect and did the trick. service was fast and the meal felt properly priced. $50 for 3 of us to eat. one issue i had was the connection to the nearby church and there being no parking. i had to park at the grocery store across the street because the lot was coned off for church.

Searching for a new place downtown and we stumbled upon the Common Table. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and the food was delicious!

The food here is always fresh and made well. Great staff and plenty of help. My wife and I are frequent guests and consider this "our place".

Great food and wonderful atmosphere. I had the salad (dieting) and my siblings had a chicken sandwich. I will be back for that sandwich...it looked wonderful! Salad was really good as well.

I am a local. I have never had anything on their menu that I didn't like. Excellent meal prep and personal uncommon service.

Food is hit or miss here. The fries are a 10/10! My daughter loved her burger. But the poke bowl, red curry dish, and salmon were all not good. The outdoor area was quite nice and extremely family friendly, with a playground on the premises and a gate for the littles. The tables were spread out nicely for privacy. The decor was cute and very Joanna Gaines. Service was friendly but a little slow.

We were in town for the marathon, and had lunch here. It was a great experience, perfect for post race. All our sandwiches were excellent and the service was friendly and fast. I would definitely recommend this place to any out of towners looking for a lunch spot.

The place is very clean, friendly staff and it's really big. Apparently it's connected next to a church which is cool. Imagine having service and going next door for lunch and fellowship. The food was very good. I had a pimento on sourdough bread meal, they brought the wrong order in but was so apologetic and even took it off the bill, which I'm really grateful for but it wasn't that big of deal for me. It was a kind gesture and they deserve 5 stars. Love them for that. We were out of towners, just got done seeing rock city and googled some food places and found the perfect spot.

Love the mission, but the experience was not good. The restaurant is in an active church and wasn't what we were looking for.

Food was ok but nothing special. Service was very good but can't make up for the atmosphere which was so loud and chaotic it was impossible to carry on a conversation without practically shouting.

I like what this place is about but food was over priced. Burger was over cooked. Prices were quite high for the quality. There are just other options in this price range for a much better experience.

Great place to stop. I had Gouda Mac and my husband had a burger. Both were delicious.

Great food, and the portion sizes are very generous with very reasonable prices. The kids meals were almost adult sized for only $8-9.

Fantastic! Came for burger week. A little dubious about having pimento cheese on my burger as I'm not a pimento fan. Loved it. Juicy, flavorful, crunchy, and all the feels that a good burger must have. Two thumbs up to the chef. Parking is easy and free. Would visit again.

Great everything. My family and I were visiting from out of town and stopped in for some lunch. Everyone ordered something different and everything was delicious. Service was impeccable. Place was clean. Kids enjoyed the play area. Highly recommend. If I'm ever in Chattanooga again I will return.

Whoever Michael Buttram using the email tray@commontablechatt.com is that has a business email with the domain of this business scammed me on PayPal and they are just looking the other way instead of contacting me back. Not sure if he was working on behalf of the business or solo but he used a paypal account attatched to a company email so that would indicate the company was involved. Guess I know where to send the legal demand that's going out today at least!

We went on Saturday, and we were seated and promptly forgotten about. The tables around us had service, but not once did any server notice, speak to, or pay us any attention. We waited because it was busy, but we sat there 20 minutes before I went inside to complain. The girl that sat us said our server forgot we were there. We stayed to eat, but the food wasn't good, and the server kept forgetting to bring us things like bbq sauce, napkins, etc. We will not be back. All around horrible experience for us. 0 out of 10

This restaurant was amazing! There were six of us and we all got something different. The food and service was wonderful! There is an indoor play area for the kids. We're visiting the area but if we lived close this place would be here often. Highly recommend!

Outstanding doesn't even begin to describe the food plus the service was impeccable. The hummus was the best we ever tasted. The kids plates were very well designed and tasty. My husband enjoyed his Thai tuna poke bowl and ate half of my shrimp and grits, which was to die for. We even got a pizza. Our eyes were definitely bigger than our appetites. Our server and the manager Joe were so kind to us being new to the area with a rambunctious 4 year old and 10 month old who's out of his routine. Our baby even loves the food! The food was so superb I forgot to take pictures, silly yelper. There is also a very clean, indoor play area where our 4 year old burnt off some of his energizer bunny energy off. We'd come here everyday if I could. What a hidden Chattanooga gem. Perfect for couples, families, small and large groups. Visit them, your appetite will thank you later!

Wonderful lunches and dinners. Suggest you check it out. Inside the Calvary Chapel Church on Broad St!! Hamburgers are so great! Everything else too, hamburgers are what I like when I go out! Also Sunday brunches are so good! My favorite are the quiches! Ever is so fresh!

This food was full of flavor!! We had the meatballs and crostini first. This set a high bar for the meal. We are glad we found this. Highly recommend. So much fun for children although we didn't have any with us. Service was spectacular. Portions were well worth the amount, very reasonable. We were so full because we had to eat it up!

Love this place!!!! We have eaten here a few times and the food has been delicious every time. Bonus is there is an indoor and outdoor playground. Hello moms, this is the perfect spot for play dates! Get a coffee or salad and let your kids play. The kids menu is very reasonably priced too with a good amount of food. Seriously can't say enough how much we love this restaurant.

I have driven past this place every single day on the way home forever and never realized it was an actual restaurant and not just a part of the church for church members. Especially since the front entrance is so often closed off with cones so you can't pull in that way. Don't be fooled! Just use the side street to pull in to the parking lot from the side. My husband and I both got burgers and fries and both were equally more than thrilled with our food. Service was quick and everyone was very nice. We'll 1000% be back!

We really like eating here. There's an indoor and outdoor playground for the kids. I recommend the poki bowl, chicken platter, pepperoni pizza, and of course, the Red Dragon Burger (medium rare). The burger may not be the healthiest option, but I'm pretty sure it's been blessed by a Rabbi so you'll be fine. It's gets a little busy at peak times, but the servers are very nice and accommodating.

We stopped here for lunch heading back home to Georgia from a trip to Nashville. This restaurant is conveniently located near the highway exit. It has a clean, bright feel. The staff is super friendly and extremely attentive. The food was excellent. My husband and I had a burger. It was fresh, on a beautiful bun and the fries were to die for. One of my kids had the chicken sandwich and it was HUGE and delicious. Everything from start to finish was a great experience. I highly recommend!!

absolutely amazing food!! truly some of the best i've had in a while. we got the french fries as an appetizer and they were amazing. I got the poke bowl as my entree and it exceeded my expectations! Would not recommend going on sunday morning because it is connected to a church and got a little crowded after church got out.

I really enjoyed the bisquit. Taste was great and crispy outside as was the sausage. I wish the coffee was not served in a tin cup. It gets very hot even on the handle and is very small. Orange juice had some kind of seltzer in it and tasted weird. My husband had the toast with strawberries and nutella. He said "meh". We will come again.

I had brunch before mother day. It was my first time there. The food was fabulous. Enjoyed sitting on the patio.

We have had several meals here including a large group. Both times the food was consistently good and fresh. Nice GF options too. Friendly service so we will definitely go back soon.

Amazing food and really great environment. Such a great spot to relax and enjoy delicious food while your kids run around and play. I loved how there is even an indoor play area for the kids if it's raining or too hot for outside.

My group and I stopped in for lunch here. We were driving through the area and searched for a pet friendly restaurant since we had our small fur baby with us. This place is huge, very modern, 'insta-grammy', A minimalistic feel to it , the staff is friendly, our waitress 'Christina' was great. The food was good, came out fast, and she got it all right! We ate out on the back patio, the patio has a beachy vibe, I swear it feels more like you're in some corner of the Yucatán peninsula. It has these really cool garden gazebos lined-up, theres also an area for kids to play, I think there's a jungle-gym too. Kids can run around before food comes out. I didn't realize that the restaurant is part of a church complex. I believe Many families were coming in to eat before or after service. I had a burger and a Cesar salad, both we good. This place is great for large group entertainment. I imagine that it's great at night. Plenty of parking, seated us immediately, the place was busy but we didn't have to wait at all, as I said the place is huge, imagine it's hard to run out of room.

Food was great! We sat at 1:45 just fifteen minutes before closing. Servers were nice enough but when I asked if I could order dessert at 2:20 I was told the kitchen was closed. I guess I should've assumed that when the bill was placed down while I was still eating but it would've been nice to have the information.

We stopped for lunch traveling along I-24. Good food and friendly service. Best crispy brussels anywhere.
