"On weekends I caught a DJ spinning hip-hop classics at Common Table, which sets a lively brunch vibe. The fried chicken smothered biscuit sandwich is stacked with fried chicken, applewood bacon, pepper jack cheese, an over-easy egg, and jalapeno jelly, and the mural of hip-hop moguls (Jay-Z, Lil Kim, Missy Elliott, and Snoop Dogg) adds to the energy. Equally good is the hangover burger — a patty topped with an egg, bacon, tomato, and fondue cheese on a croissant bun — and grabbing a mimosa tower with friends makes for a fun, groove-filled meal." - Alex Gonzalez
