"COMO is the most quietly luxurious hotel group you’ve probably never heard of. It’s been around since 1991 with Zen-dedicated locations in Bali, Thailand, Bhutan, and more, and its forty-one-bedroom central London property is so discreet that until recently, we didn’t even know it was there. And that’s the idea. The exterior could be another sophisticated building common to the neighborhood, but stepping inside is like stepping into another world. Guest room doors and corridor walls are indistinguishable from one another, flowing in an undulating line of textured wood to mimic walking through a forest. The rooms are almost like sensory deprivation tanks—in the best way possible. Creamy walls, creamier carpets, white sheets, touches of earthy mahogany, and blackout curtains mean your bedroom is a place to rest, recharge, and maybe eat in. Room service at the Halkin is top-notch (and faster than any room service we’ve ever had). Sitting down to dinner wrapped up in soft hotel robes before tumbling into bed after a long day traipsing the city is how we like to vacation."
"The perfect-scoring staff at this hotel in Belgravia near Hyde Park "go out of their way to do anything and everything to make your stay terrific"—all while wearing uniforms designed by Giorgio Armani. The weathered brick and Portland stone building has interiors colored to evoke the five elements. Rooms, reached via a corridor of black corrugated wood paneling, are mostly in shades of white with accents of brown and purple, and have Sapele hardwood veneers and Egyptian cotton linens. Nahm offers contemporary Thai cuisine like quail salad with sour-plum leaves."

"Many of the world’s most stylish hotels are heavy on the public spaces, pouring money into lounges, libraries, drawing rooms, even private cinemas, while relegating the paying guests to cramped, uninspired rooms. How this works as a business proposition is quite beyond our understanding, but in this case it’s irrelevant — London’s Halkin hotel turns this stereotype inside out. Here the public spaces amount to little more than a small but handsome lobby and bar (and of course a restaurant, of which more later), while the rooms get the star treatment." - Tablet Hotels
I recently had afternoon tea at COMO The Halkin in London, and I absolutely loved it! Everything—from the calm, elegant atmosphere to the beautifully presented food—was just perfect.||The tea selection was excellent, and the staff were kind and helpful in recommending the right one for me. The savoury bites were creative and full of flavour, and the sweets were both delicious and beautifully designed. I especially enjoyed the unique touches like the fresh juice shots and the warm, relaxing welcome.||The service was outstanding—attentive but never intrusive. It felt peaceful, refined, and very special from start to finish.||I would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxing and slightly different afternoon tea in London. I’m already looking forward to going back!

Absolutely fantastic experience!! Everything about the Afternoon Tea at COMO Halkin hotel was fabulous!|Food was very tasty, presentation - amazing! Service, especially by Debrah was very professional. Big thank you to Mario and other colleague who served us when Debrah left. We had such a good time. Due to bad weather when we finished our Afternoon Tea, Lonny - Head Concierge, offered complimentary brand umbrellas for me and my family - such a nice gesture!!|Thank you COMO Halkin team.

The team at COMO The Halkin treated us very well during our recent stay in London. The staff were very well informed about our preferences and duration of stay (they even take the effort to wish us well in advance as some of them were off on the day of our departure). Such kind thoughts really go a long way, and it’s those that will make you return.
Kudos to Valentina, Morris and Deborah for making our stay a memorable one. Also major thanks to the butler who was ever so kind and offered us advice where to exchange our old bank notes!
The property is very well located, in a safe neighborhood just 10-20 minutes away from Hyde Park and the major shopping streets such as Bond Street. COMO The Halkin is conveniently located near a bus stop and the tube.

I had the opportunity to stay at The Halkin, and I can say the service was amazing. I stayed for my son’s birthday, and they treated him like a prince. The attention from room service, breakfast, reception, and even the manager was spectacular. I will definitely be back. Thank you, Halkin team!

The Halkin is my default in London for 20+ years because of the comfortable modern decor and the incredible service. The rooms are quiet and large, the beds are incredibly soft, the showers have excellent water pressure - almost deluge ;) The location is ideal in Belgravia right between Mayfair and Knightsbridge. I can't stay anywhere else in London.

Yelp
one of the best afternoon tea in London. located in the lobby bar of the COMO hotel Halkin, the high tea offers unique Indonesian flavor high tea. The Shambhala high tea is only ₤55 per person before 20% VAT and 12.5% service charge. we had the reservation, but the whole time there were only two other tables having drinks there.
The space doesnt look very fancy. the table for four person is a bit tight for all the food needs to be on the table, there's barely space for the tea, which i think it needs improvement.
the high tea start with a shambhala ceremony that the COMO signature shambhala oil infused water pour on a hot stone on the table. the steam rises to give us the the aroma to bring us to the scent of tropical. you then pick the tea you want, each person will have a whole pot to themselves.
The first plate comes out is the savory portion of the high tea, there are salad, soup, chicken wings and shrimp tempora, this is perfect for people who loves savory over sweets. once you finished the savory part the sweet part follows with strawberry chocolate cube, coconut that's marshmallow in the white part and chocolate shell , passion fruit pastry that looks like passion fruit but completely blow your mind, cucumber sorbet and banana waffle. everything is very unique and elevated instead of the normal high tea pastries. the sweet pastries are not too sweet which is perfect.
The whole high tea is enough food to skip dinner. Great experience and full of unique tastes.
