"Vins is a little neighbourhood wine bar that, thanks to their low-intervention wines and comfortable feel, we have a proper soft spot for. You can order everything from a fruity pinot noir to a chenin blanc that’s perfect for sipping over a slice of cheese. And yes, you can also get their 18-month comte delivered." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing
"From the infamous "Quatre Garçons," a group of French dandies known for their splashy bars and eateries, comes this pitch-perfect wine bar known as the CVS for short. They've intelligently created a two floor suite of comfort, full of soft upholstery, cushions, rugs, and walls painted dark, velvety tones. It has that clubby feel of the kind of place you'd stick around for hours, and undoubtedly will, for the extensive wine list (pages upon pages of mostly European bottles) and phenomenal snacks—the mandatory charcuterie and cheese boards (sourced at Androuet, no less) and an ever-changing sandwich that's earned top marks. Everything about our experience was amazing. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was great. We came early and were the only ones inside. It was wonderful! We loved the decor and the ambience. The cheeses recommended to us were delicious and went perfectly with the wine we chose. We would definitely come back when visiting London.

A small oasis in the middle of bustling London. We were delighted with the service, the ordered snacks and the wine recommendation. We had a wonderful break.

Look the vibe is nice, both outside and inside, a popular spot with great service! Its really expensive tho and the selection of cheeses is also not the best Ive had especially for the price.
It’s a good place for a glass of vine but if you are planning a longer night and want to have a bite be prepared to spend at least 100£

This is how true hospitality works! Genuine interest, never intrusive, wishes recognized before they were even expressed. The food (despite the small bar menu on this evening) was excellent and the wine selection outstanding with some absolute rarities (for example top Pinot Noir from Switzerland, which is not available anywhere else in the UK). We would love to come back.

Just had a fantastic dining experience here and couldn't wait to share my praise! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, chic and modern, they made excellent recommendations and ensured our my dining experience was smooth and enjoyable.
Now, let's talk about the food! The Tuna Carpaccio was absolutely delicious especially the flavourful.

First time at La Compagnie. We were a large group from our office so I just asked our waiter for a selection of all the dishes and to be mindful that we had some particular dietaries. Very delicious and wine was great too. I shall definitely come again w work colleagues and my mates

Excruciatingly expensive.
In my view the product quality didn't match the price tag and the service was very slow at a time when they weren't at all busy.
£90 for 4 small glasses of wine and a dozen olives is pushing it more than a bit.
