Compass Coffee

What a gem of a place offering simple but delicious coffee options. I went to a chain coffee place the day before and I overpaid for a drink made wrong. I found this place, that was closer to my accommodations, and was very pleased. The coffee was delicious, and the service was quick. I went with a friend and we had the almond butter latter and the turmeric honey latte. Loved it! The POS did not push for a tip, ethically sourced coffee, and veteran owned. They also had a gluten free breakfast option.

I placed an on- line order- left my office- walked in the rain to pick up my breakfast sandwich which was not ready when I checked I was told there were none. Hopefully the money has been return to my account- I think more should have been done and update your on- line system.

I stopped coming here a while back but had to stop in today because I had a late start and I’m happy I did. I was pleasantly surprised by the staffing changes at my favorite locations.

The workers here are great, and I'm proud to support union-made coffee- what I can't support is union-busting! Compass workers are wonderful and deserve better.

We're glad we took the time to get to know the espresso and other offerings at Compass Coffee -- and glad we got to do it at this new (now new-ish) location on K St NW. The coffee is excellent, especially followed by the traditional (still or sparkling!) glass of water. Looking forward to them being able to open up the big "garage door" window onto the street this spring...

Haven’t tasted their food. The male barista is not very friendly on more than one occasion, no smile, almost annoyed. Would be great if I could actually pay for my coffee with the money I loaded in the app! Having said that, the drinks are always hot and look pretty, no up charge for plant based milk, however prices are already pretty high. Typical for DC. The location is beautiful and only a few steps away from my office building.

Compass staff is very kind and welcoming. They tend to know the names of regular customers. Easygoing atmosphere. I love my iced lattes and mint cold brews. Glad that breakfast sandwiches have been added to the menu!

This is an awesome compass with great service. I usually make coffee at home, but now that the employees want a union, I will be coming more often before work to support union labor! @compasscoffeeunited
