Composition Coffee

Stopped by while in town for a project and this would be my default coffee shop if I lived here, I can tell. Everything feels infused with purpose. The atmosphere is lovely. The design is intentional and open. The light of the space was just exquisite. The coffee was great (I ordered a mocha.) I’ll definitely be back.

Absolutely loved my visit to Composition Coffee! The space is bright, thoughtfully designed, and filled with great energy. The staff was warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Every detail, from the locally sourced ingredients to the perfectly crafted drinks, felt intentional and high quality. I had one of the best coffees I’ve tasted in a long time, and the vibe was perfect for catching up with a friend or getting some work done. Bonus points for the fast Wi-Fi. Can’t wait to come back!

Incredible atmosphere and incredible staff! Coldbrew is nitro and has notes of chocolate, which is delicious for those who love a dark / medium roast. It has gluten free options and great seating for studying and reading! Good vibes and energy. My fave coffee shop in West Palm!

Great experience at Composición Coffee. I had an iced latte, a double espresso, a blueberry muffin, an orange pound cake, and a matcha brownie. The matcha one isn’t really my thing personally, but everything was well-prepared, fresh, and high quality. Coffee was excellent, the space was calm, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Definitely a place I’d come back to and explore more of the menu. Highly recommended!

This coffee cafe is my favorite place I've found in Florida. The atmosphere is my style and the coffee is so special, both in smell and taste. There's nothing on the menu that I don't like. The bakery is delicious in every way. I recommend it if you come here. You will come back again and again.

We had yummy vanilla lattes here this past Saturday, sitting out on their patio. It was quiet and quite lovely. Clean restroom and accessible spaces. Super friendly staff.

One of the best cappuccinos and blueberry muffins I’ve ever had! The owner’s passion for coffee and healthy food really shines through, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. A wonderful spot that I’ll definitely be coming back to whenever I visit West Palms.

Great coffee house vibes. Delicious nitro brew was strong & smooth. Excellent choice of super premium coffees for pour over brew. They even had the Gesha when I last visited. Parking can be slightly busy and confusing- I just park on the street.

Composition is a thoughtfully curated coffee shop with a selection of high quality beans and tea. My favorite drink is the matcha latte & flat white. I love getting the matcha americano style with light milk. It's great for a less creamy drink. The ceremonial matcha was interesting, I think I would stick with the house version since I enjoy it with milk anyway. Maybe if you don't want any milk, the cost would be worth it. But I still enjoyed trying it for the experience with my bestie! Must try - the earl grey nitro. It has a nice mouth feel despite it just being tea, water, and nitro! The coffee is also amazing. All in all, I love going to Composition despite its steeper prices because the ambiance and offerings are just wonderful.

OH. MY. GOSH. This place is INCREDIBLE!!!! The sweetest people inside and one of the best coffees I've ever had. I've also NEVER had a pastry at a coffee shop that was this good. I can't recommend more the Everything Croissant. Get 50 of them, you won't be sorry. The vibe, the style, the perfect environment to get your work done and maybe meet a new friend along the way. What a great little place a nook in a hidden treasure area. My son brought us there for the first time and the coffee was delicious, everybody in there was so nice and welcoming when we walked in. When you look up, there's an upper level it is so cute. What a great use of space. The outside is lovely with the tables underneath the trellis. It really gives you a homie feeling, and they have the cutest stuff to buy the hats, the shirt, it's really a great place to visit I highly recommend it.

Googled coffee shops in palm beach and the name stuck out to me. So glad we stopped in! I admire the aesthetics of this space. Love the loft and the lime wash hand painted walls down to the large plants, and wooden furniture. The handmade ceramics for indoor dining made me want to melt. Everything was very tasteful in the design and if I had my own coffee shop I would want it to look like this one. We had cortados and they were very well made. My mom, sister and I much appreciated the mini cups for our iced cortados to go and the staff were very pleasant and patient with us and we were definitely overstimulated by all of the beauty put into this shop. Well done and we look forward to returning.

The coffee is great! We had the iced mocha and loved it, it's Cocao so the barista asked if we would like it sweetened or not, we chose sweetened and it was delicious! The everything bagel croissant is a must try! We got one to share and went back to purchase another one to go!!

If you're looking for speciality coffee - this is the spot to visit. Small cozy space. Friendly service. Great to open a book or pop up with your laptop. Seasonal coffee offerings. Drip coffee cortados. Pour overs. Quality coffee. Great taste. Highly recommend for my coffee connoisseur.

This is a short and sweet review: Coffee - pricey but good (see photos for selection) two black coffees were $18 total They gave us sparkling water as a palate cleanser... ‍ Ambiance - Freaking amazing. It's beautiful in there. So warm and welcoming. I love the set up with the loft area elevating the comfy vibe (see what I did there? lol) Service - Perfect. The person working the register was patient and explained our options with full knowledge of each offering on their menu for black coffee. I'm planning to visit again and try tea next time. Another review giving it to you straight no chaser. Enjoy!

A coffee shop that serves coffee on par with the aesthetic. It's beautiful with lots of seating options both inside and outside; the barista was super helpful in guiding us with recommendations. My mocha was fantastic and absolutely on the dryer/non sweet side. My friend rated her matcha a 10/10. If I lived locally, I'd be here all the time!

Composition was a coffee house I discovered through a Yelp search when I wanted to grab coffee that wasn't Starbucks. Being that I was in the West Palm Beach area just south of downtown, having just finished lunch in the area, I was happy to find a spot where I could relax for a little bit. The flat white I had was good and satisfying made with care by the baristas that were down to earth. The ambiance is quite chill, modern, and stylish. There is a very hip feel between the bottom level where you can order your coffee and sit at one of the u-shaped booth seats or tables, or go up the flight of stairs to the balcony area where you can grab a table there, which overlooks the main area. There was a steady flow of people who came into the coffee house who were mostly local to the area or students at nearby Palm Beach Atlantic University.

Excellent 3rd wave coffee and pastries in WPB. Great ambiance. Lots of fancy cars in the parking lot.

Cute and chill coffee shop with an amazing array of coffee and tea choices. The employees are knowledgeable and welcoming. We had the delicious drip; smooth and delicious. They have a great assortment of pastries and donuts; the almond croissant was perfect and the matcha brownie will be our choice for our return visit. Located in a tucked away business area. Check out the upper seating area inside. Composition Coffee is a slam dunk!

I had been here before but heard they did some renovations. They now have a loft. It's very inviting. All the employees were friendly and willing to help with questions. I decided to try the matcha latte. Matcha is not my favorite but I like to try new drinks. I also had the zucchini bread and that was tasty. The stairs going up to the loft do seem steep so be careful. The inside is small so they do have seating outside as well.

I've been in the area a few times for stores but never have taken the time to stop in for a coffee at Composition until this past weekend. As soon as we walked in we were greeted and asked what they could get started for us. This being our first trip, I asked a few questions of milks and syrups offered. I chose a cold brew with almond milk and a coconut syrup. When they brought the coffee out to us, I wasn't expecting them to be in such nice and fun glasses. The coffee was exceptionally good, although I'm not sure I could really taste the coconut syrup. I felt like it was a good pour size as well. There is seating inside, but because it's been so hot; all tables were full inside so we grabbed a table on the outside patio. It's definitely hot and they could use some fans or something out there. We would have stayed longer if it wasn't for the heat because it was such a setup outside. Definitely will be back!

I was in the area and stopped in to get a cup of joe along with a pastry. The joint was busy for a mid Tuesday morning and I noticed a lot of college kids there gearing up for their classes online. I was greeted and wasn't rushed to take my order. I settled for a macchiato and an everything croissant. It came out quickly and I took it to go. I was thanked for coming in by the staff. When I got in the car and started driving, I took a sip of the macchiato. I almost spit it out. I was really surprised on how bitter it tasted since I had plenty of them before and never expected it to be like that. When I got home, I added a little sugar and cream. Since I failed to tell the baristas to add that in the coffee, it was my fault. The price was a bit steep for the coffee too. $4 for a small cup of it was unreasonable since it I could get a large one for cheaper elsewhere. However, the everything croissant was amazing and I savored every bit of it.

We LOVED this coffee shop! The two story vibes but with plants. Super cozy atmosphere very welcoming and aesthetic. Plenty of seating both and in out! One of the coolest places in west Palm for sure. Upon walking in, I was surprised that my friend was able to find such a hidden gem. We went on a Saturday around 11am and the place was packed. It kinda gave Friday night bar vibes, but in a coffee shop kind of way. The establishment is pet friendly. Probably 40% of the customers had a dog. I am not a dog person. The team member who took my order was friendly and allowed me to ask questions. I had an iced americano with almond milk and Splenda. The coffee was... lackluster. It didn't taste much like coffee. I asked a group of guys if they enjoyed their coffee; they both did. One had an iced vanilla latte and the other had a cold brew, no ice, with almond milk. The next time I go back back, I'll probably try the cold brew or a specialty coffee. If you like regular, degular coffee, consider ordering something with more razzle dazzle. Parking is available for free in a parking lot next to the building. There seemed to be another lot across the street they may be an overflow option if it doesn't belong to another establishment.

Love this place! Even if the coffee is served in fancy glasses, it is so worth it. Composition feels like home every time I walk in! The staff are unbelievably friendly- Josh and Evan take great care of me every time. The coffee quality is top notch and the new balcony addition makes it such a great spot to work. Of the 387 coffee places in North America I've been fortunate enough to have enjoyed Single Origin Espresso, Composition is top 5. If you truly enjoy extremely high quality espresso, prepared correctly, in a stunning building, come here. The difference in Barista expertise here and mainstream coffee places is vast. From an impressive menu of pour overs to Espresso, and fresh pastries, this is easily top 2 in Florida. I drive roughly 1 hour for an Espresso, IT'S THAT GOOD.

The place looks amazing for studying or doing work with all the plants and nice relaxing design. Mocha I would say is 3/5 and the taste didn't hit it right for me. I still would say it doesn't beat my favorite spot in Aventura.

Composition coffee is the best coffee in south Florida. From the aesthetic to the service to the knowledge of coffee from the staff. They know what they're doing.

We got two fall spice lattes, everything croissant, and a piece of the orange loaf. It was so good. The coffee was delicious. The everything croissant was literally amazing. If you go here you need to try it. Also the person making the coffee was so nice and helpful when I didn't know which coffee to get.

First time here. Came for a cup of coffee after visiting the record shop next door. The parking at this plaza is atrocious to start. The spots are somewhat narrow and it's always packed. Typically, on the weekends anyway, it's easier to park on the side street and walk over than to wait for a spot in the attached lot. Secondly, the counter is close to the front of the store and due to the positioning of merch and tables, there's not a ton of room to wait for an order that's been placed. It creates a jam up in which people coming inside can have difficulty getting to the register and the people waiting are blocking up the whole front lobby area and door. Thirdly, $8.80 for a dirty chai? The taste was fine, but I don't think I've ever paid so much for a fairly small non-alcoholic drink. All that being said, if you enjoy facing those challenges to overpay for very ok coffee, this is your spot.

I needed a place to work from without interruptions and Composition was the first one I found on Google Maps. LET ME TELL YA ... this place is great. I had the most delicious latte, an amazing "everything bagel croissant" and a really productive day of work. The atmosphere is great, the staff is beyond friendly, and the spot is perfect for catching up with friends or going solo. I love that they also offer cocktails, live music, and a variety of events from what I saw on their Instagram. Can't wait to go back!

This is a very small coffee shop with limited seating. The employees were friendly and helpful, however there was a hair on the plate of my zucchini cake and I was not a fan of my coffee. To be fair, the cashier did tell me that the other espresso paired best with drinks, but I wanted to try something different so that's on me and why I am still giving 3 stars. Drinks also take a while to come out, the latte art was very pretty though!

Quite literally some of the best coffee I've had and I've been to way too many coffee shops in different states and countries. And ive been going to every coffee shop in West Palm trying to find the best here and landed on this place. My order is an iced oat milk latte and it's always made to perfection. The espresso is top quality and always brewed consistently. Not gonna lie price is a bit steep (which seems like the norm for coffee these days) but I'll happily spend everything I've got on coffee this good any day. Interior is also cute and cozy, overall good vibes and ambience. The baristas are also always friendly and clearly know what they're doing!! One of the gems of west palm to be quite honest :')

Not sure what to get when we arrived for our first visit. We were given ample attention and explanation as to what they could do. They were helpful and friendly. The drinks were great although choices were limited. Atmosphere was quiet and many seating options were available with indoor, upstairs and outside seating were available.

Composition is your classic small coffee house, with the entrepreneurial owner who sources top-of-the-line coffee and sweats the details, right down to the Ph of the water. Comfy couches, plus a few nice work tables for individuals and groups. Lots of PBAU college kids in there. The cortado rocks. Perfect crema. Drip coffee is custom costly, so the sticker-shocked might head to the Bucks on Belvedere instead. In a business park. Near mathnasium and Tai Kwon do for the kids, it's the place to go hang.

Smooth, not too sweet, just the right texture, and a subtle creamy espresso undertone to bring it all together. The owner Josh is absolutely a wonderful person who has an incredible passion for coffee. Definitely say hello if you get a chance. His dedication to brewing the perfect cup of coffee is unmatched. The ambiance is a great fit for the area and also a good place to meet for business or pleasure. I don't even live in the area I travelled down from Canada for work. And you can be sure I will be coming back again when I'm in the area. Hope you enjoy the coffee as much as I did!

I love this coffee shop! Throughly enjoy the elegant and simple design. My experience is heavily influenced by the warm and welcoming barista that was so patient in answering my questions. Not only that, their lavender latte is absolutely delicious! I've had many and this might be my favorite. I loved that they used a marble ceramic cup as well, so unique compared to other coffee shops. If I lived near by, I would be a regular.

Such a beautiful coffee shop. I saw this on social media and knew I had to come and it was just as lovely in person. The highlights were really the ambiance and the quality of coffee for sure. I am a big coffee lover so I was excited to come here. There were a few things that did throw me off though. One was that it was absolutely freezing in there. Since it's out outside I was wearing shorts and a tank but I could hardly stay for long because it was so cold. The other was that although it wasn't super busy, my coffee seemed to be thrown together. I mean I don't expect a perfect latte art every time and I know from experience sometimes milk just doesn't behave, but for a place like this it looked like they just kind of dumped the steamed milk in so the presentation wasn't there. It just surprised me is all for a place like this. I also had to ask for sugar as there was no station for that. I can imagine they take pride in their coffee, as they should because it was delicious, but I thought that was odd. With all that being said, it is worth coming here. It's beautiful, the staff was very nice and sweet, and the coffee was great!

Came here for the first time on earlier this week. The drinks were super yummy, staff were incredibly nice, and love the atmosphere! I do wish the place had a little more seating, but it was still such a wonderful experience. I will definitely be back!

Had the best banana walnut bread and a delicious oat milk cappuccino. This place is very cozy and looks very new. The barristas were super nice and their coffee was delish. They have outside tables and couches and tables inside. It was a little hard to find but so worth it !
