"Price: $$ For deep-pan pizza, Conans is the Austin answer. There are optional wheat crusts and plenty of vegan options, too. Build your own — be it deep or thin crust, or go for a house model. The Don’t Choke Art (fresh spinach, sliced tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and minced garlic) and Pesto (sliced tomatoes on pesto sauce) are winners. Inside and out, this place has the nostalgic pizza joint vibes of an old-school Pizza Hut, but it’s overflowing with tchotchkes and wall art. A second location up north, in Wooten, has the same corny but great vibes. Pickup orders can be placed online. Pro-tip: We love the deep-pan pies, but don’t overlook the thin crust.
