Where To Drink Before Ending Up At Wawa At 2am

"Concourse has a full-room ball pit, which is the most important thing you need to know about this place. Besides that, it kind of seems like it would be your average Center City nightclub, but Concourse blasts Backstreet Boys instead of standard house music and has a bunch of local beers on tap, making it a good time even if you usually avoid clubs like the plague. Just make sure there are a few drinks involved before you enter the ball pit, or you’ll start thinking about everyone who was in there before you, which is never a good place for your mind to go." - sydney mcelwee

This is my new favorite bar. I can’t believe I’m just now finding out about this. I hope this stays in business for a very long time! If you like to bar hope this is the perfect place to do that in one club. They have so much to explore. Upstairs, jungle room, ice room, ball pit, tons of selfie walls, a wall you can open as a doll house.. there’s so much uniqueness here. There’s even a slide.

If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in Philly, Concourse is the place to be. I went last Friday and had such a blast, I’m already planning to head back this week. The DJ absolutely killed it—song after song had the whole crowd singing along, and I could vibe with 95% of the playlist. Whether you’re into dancing your heart out or just enjoying the music with friends, the energy was off the charts. The drinks? Strong and worth the price. I spent $20 on a fishbowl, and not only was it loaded with flavor, but the candies mixed into the drink added a fun twist that made it totally worth the splurge. Just know you’re paying for quality—this isn’t your average watered-down bar cocktail. The overall vibe at Concourse is phenomenal. Everyone there seemed like they just wanted to have a good time, and that kind of energy is contagious. It was packed in the best way, giving the place a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Even the staff was amazing to talk to. One of my favorite parts of the night was stepping into the ice room—such a cool (literally) way to take a breather after hours of dancing. I didn’t make it into the famous ball pit this time, but it’s at the top of my list when I return. Pro tip: if you plan on hanging out near the DJ booth for a while, bring ear plugs. It gets loud, but in a “party like you mean it” kind of way. Also, the cover charge was totally reasonable for everything you get. Concourse checks all the boxes for a night out—great music, strong drinks, fun extras, and an unforgettable vibe. Can’t wait for round two this Friday!

My two friends and I had an amazing time reliving our 20s here dancing! The ball pit was so much fun and the place wasn’t overly crowded which I like. There are also some other unique things there including a slide and sometimes an ice room and swing, but the two latter were closed when we were there. Bartenders were also very nice. There is lots of seating and an upstairs lounge as well if you’d like to catch up with friends or talk to a date. Also a handful of fun photo ops. It’s located sort of in the middle of the block and not right on Market as it looks like in Google Maps, is closer to to 17th Street. We will be back!

Honestly $5-10 cover for this. Is not even worth it. One the DJ 07/12/25 terrible, Prolonged time 1-2 minutes delay of just beats before he picks a song, un prepared, he cannot match the beats between songs mediocre DJ at best. Dance floor was basically empty, like 2-3 feet between people. Not many on the dance floor, once again DJ problem, better just getting a Spotify playlist (some places do it and they get more people dancing). Drinks were okay above average. Service is good.

Had a blast. My only complain was that there wasn't a variety to the music. The ice bar is such a cool concept unfortunately I get cold easily so I didn't stay there long. The ball pit was my favorite, my inner child was set free there. I didn't go down the slide to the dance floor but the lounge upstairs is very cozy. I love the odd decor around the bar.

Google
The drinks and vibes were amazing! I also went in the ballpit and that was super fun. Music was lit and people were jamming along and all good vibes. Amazing place. Highly recommend. They also have a coat / bag area you pay $3 for your stuff to be held until you pick it up. Will definitely be back!!

Google
I think this is a really cool nightclub. It’s hard to find from the street so that sucked, we went for my birthday and I just got married a week prior. The drinks weren’t the most expensive I’ve seen but definitely not worth the hype. The fishbowl was VERY disappointing it was small and only came with 1 Swedish fish. The ball pit was fun but I feel like for people who are drinking it shouldn’t be so deep and hard to step in and out of, it was very dense and hard to move around in especially tipsy. There’s a 5 minute time limit it was so bad we didn’t even stay in the full 5 minutes. There’s a room in the back that says take a trip and it leads to a room with a mushroom… very anticlimactic. It would’ve been super dope if that room was like a hookah lounge with seating the mushroom in it would make sense then. The wall of Barbie’s was an interesting choice lol. The ice bar was kinda cool, it was beyond cold inside there was only 3 sculptures and a SHOT in there was $14 I get the aesthetic but it wasn’t a good time cause it was so cold and there wasn’t really anything worth seeing inside. I feel like if someone put the time and energy into it Thai could be such a dope club. It really looks like someone took all the extra stuff they had laying in their basement and made a club. The music was okay. Wasn’t awful but wasn’t what I’d say is popular anymore by any means. I don’t regret going I just feel like the way they hype the place up is wrong it’s not nearly as cool as they say it is online and to a lot of people I feel like the experience might come off as corny. So 3/5 stars ✨

I came here for the 4th of July bar crawl. Mind you I had a prepaid ticket. There was this big, brown skin, tall black man there as the security guard. I was going to hop over the line rope since there was no line and the security said “you can’t do that”. I said “that’s fine, I understand. I really don’t need a lecture” (when he went on and on about it). He wouldn’t let me in the club after that. I already paid for entry into this club, what do you mean you won’t let me in? Just because you feel like your pride is hurt? This club is wack, I want my money back.

Yelp
We went early on a Saturday night around 10. No line and they have a coat check. The vibe of this place is cool. Lots of cool lighting. They have a ball pit which we went in was fun but can't imagine when there's 20 people in there. They also have an ice bar wasn't really well thought out so we just walked through. It started getting busy around midnight, music was good and the drinks were ok. i ended up just sticking with wine. It's a good place to pre game before going to the hot spots so don't pass by it!!

Yelp
Pro tip: come early to avoid the line. Yes you do have to wait for the people to come in and start dancing because it's so empty early on Friday nights. Coming from LA, I like how this club isn't pretentious, has a good vibe (minus some creepy guys), and you really see all kinds of people here. So why the 3 stars? The music is garbage and feels like that white club meme. I don't know how to dance to Taylor Swift and general pop music in a night club aside from reverting to middle school dance moves. Drinks are kind of pricy. Location is slightly confusing to find, but nice and central. Ball pit is okay; ice room is kinda fun for pictures. And the upstairs is nice for a breather because the dance floor does get kinda disgustingly packed.

Yelp
Super fun! Love the artsy look in the place, everyone was nice and patient, the music was great, drinks were good will come again !

Yelp
A decent dance club to go to in Philly. Very popular with the younger college crowd. When I went, the music was good and there was a good amount of seating and room in the various sections of the club. It is definitely a spot for taking photos. Especially in the mirror room, ice bar, and ball pit. If you are willing to go a little wild, this place may be for you. The drinks are pretty standard and there are a good amount of bar areas to grab a drink. Dance floor itself is a decent size but can get really packed. It is cool to look down from a higher spot on the crowd of people. Overall a decent club. Many 21st birthdays celebrated here for sure!

Yelp
Cut off early bartenders on a power trip. music was good just not satisfied at all with the management

Yelp
Came here last night for the We Touch Grass anime rave. The sets were great. The venue has something more to be desired. The VIP section was nothing special. Honestly, the best thing the VIP add on did for us was get us in the door faster. The bouncers we're doing a great job of keeping the place safe. They did have to kick people out, but they handled it really well. I think there were two Photo Booths on the property because the one I ended up in was not the We Touch Grass Theme. I was pretty upset when I put in my credit card, and without warning, it snapped 3 photos of my friend and I. All the pictures came out terrible obviously. We had no idea where the camera was and there was no countdown. I wish I had my $5 back lol. The drinks were pricey but I guess that's what you get at the club. The dance floor was tight and we tried going down to the stage but it was tough. We loved the ball pit! Sad the ice room wasn't open. I thought the staff did a really good job of keeping the place safe and for that, I'll probably be back :)

Yelp
Absolutely love this place! We've been coming here for two years now and I just celebrated my birthday here! Once you make it downstairs there is a fun slide that lands you right on the dance floor! The dance floor is a good size with areas to stand directly outside if the floor, lean on the ledge but still be a part of the crowd and dance! There are two ground floor bar areas and one area has stools and tables to sit and hang with friends. There is an awesome ball pit, ice room and mirror room in the first floor, a photo booth also! The bathrooms are on the first floor and they are immaculate! Upstairs there is a lounge area with unique sofas, chairs and ottomans. There is also a full bar Upstairs as well as a stool and ledge area to sit and watch the party down below. The DJs are fun and play such a great mix of 90s, 2000s and current music. The crowd is good as there is such a diverse age range. I don't drink alcohol but the bartenders are so friendly and welcoming! With any place, things can get a bit shaken up but Hawk, the lead security guard, runs a right ship with his crew! They are there to keep everyone safe and tolerate NOTHING! Come with a positive and friendly attitude because this is what the Concourse is all about!! Also, such easy access from the train and busses!

Yelp
Dont come here. Literally do not waste your time or money. Im from Florida, and this is hands down the worst "club" I've ever went to. I ordered a "double" with my girl and tasted nothing but soda. Legit coca-cola, for $40. Fuck this place. Don't come. Atmosphere sucks, bartenders sucks, NO crowd, hands down one of the worst experiences ive had in PA.

C S.

Yelp
Lots of fun but the drinks are always so watered down and weak. They were out of certain drink supplies on one of the biggest nights of the year :-/ The music is good though.

Yelp
Concourse Review During the Covid Era 1/30/21 visit: Of course clubs like these are prone to receive negative reviews because of cover charges, long line waits, music too loud, shoulder to shoulder crowds, lackluster food and overpriced drinks. During the covid era things have changed and I'm going against the 2.5 star yelp rating grain giving this place a full 5 stars. Now-a-days this place had to pivot and to switch gears as pandemic restrictions ease to a "pre-fix drinking experience" accompanied by some snacks. So they are now offering a packaged deal per person for ~$32 per person. All in after tax and tip it's about $82 per couple, pre paid, no refunds. This gets you any three drinks and three snacks during a 90 minute time slot. Now to clarify the food is no way shape or form a full meal. It's a small snack meant to fill their 'restaurant' obligation to accompany alcoholic beverages, so please don't go into this thinking this is a fine dining experience in the city. The pretzels are handful movie theater pretzel nuggets. The best way I could explain the cheesesteak is that it was basically a cheesesteak on a bagel bite cut in half served with some chips. Finally the dessert is a kandykake or little debbie brownie brought out at the end. The way they work the experience over the 90 minutes is everyone received a colored wristband while checking in. They basically segment the experience into three room while each room you get a drink and a snack. After your drink they ask you to move to the next spot so you are rotating about every thirty minutes. In the middle room there is a cool ice bar walk in freezer experience with different sculpture and signs that are instagram worthy. There is also a mirror room to walk in with drop down lights as well. The final room is the most clubby with the dance floor, lights, dj and a small slide. The first room actually overlooks the dance floor. We were able to successfully order one extra drink a la cart in this last room but based on your color wristband and strict social guidelines once your time is up they ask you to wrap it up and move on so the next group can head in. The staff was incredibly attentive and personable. They constantly checked on us and we're very welcoming. I was very satisfied with the experience and would recommend to others after setting their expectations. Also minors are allowed at the 5pm time slot only with adults. The manager was very helpful regarding this.

Yelp
This was definitely a unique experience! Having just moved to Philly, it was a great first time going with my friends. Everything was so novel and interesting. They have an ice box, infinity room, dance floor, upstairs area and a BALL PIT. Very instagrammable. Music could be better but the people really made the experience for me

Yelp
Voting for a better DJ!!!! We had fun, but the crowd is younger - we had gray drinks and a good time! So much fun a creative atmosphere with multiple kick it spots and I really had fun!!

Gary D.

Yelp
This place sucks. $10 cover to get in. The beer I ordered was either expired or something was wrong with the keg/keg tubbing. I spent $5 in the Photo Booth and never got my photos. Felt like a college bar

Yelp
My friend and I got drugged here last night, luckily we made it home before anything hit us. I think someone saw and told the bouncers (or whoever did it did) but the bouncers solution was to kick us out and say it was "for our safety" and "because we were stumbling" but would not tell us anything else (I took a video of my feet while we talked with the bouncers and we weren't stumbling at all). We only had 3 drinks over 3 hours, with water in between. Then after a short walk home everything hit us and my friend had to go to the hospital. Definitely wouldn't recommend, it's not a safe space for women.

Bernard W.

Yelp
ngl concourse is always a cool vibe. my wife says it's my safe place lol. this is probably my last year going unfortunately because I'm definitely aging out of concourse but it's been real seriously. from the ball pit to the ice bar to the infinity room to the dance floor where they ALWAYS blast Whitney at the end of the night, it'll always been full of special memories.

Sumayyah W.

Yelp
Overpriced experience. The staff were incredibly rude and stingy with alcohol. The only highlight of this establishment is that I felt safe around other club goers.
google avatar

Alex L.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and my friends and I always have a good time. Young crowd, good music, quick service. The staff is always kind and there are plenty of areas to take an Instagram pic. Ice room is especially nice when they get busy and you need somewhere to cool off away from the crowds. I prefer the upstairs bar, better people watching.

shalizmar r.

Yelp
This was definitely a vibe. It was a nice crowd bouncers were friendly. A bouncer named Hawk made sure it was a safe environment as soon as there was an incident he came and handled it quickly and everyone just kept dancing like normal. The ice bar is the best part of it imagine dancing being hot and then entering a cool atmosphere with nice ice sculptures and the bar tenders were awesome in there as well as the coat check lady. Me and my two siblings had a great time last night, a Friday night is so far a great time to go in my opinion. I want to try a Saturday next.

Yelp
What a fun night! We didn't set out to visit Concourse and dance our asses off, but the night unfolded as such. Before we knew it, we were paying our $5 cover charge and checking our coats. As noted in other reviews, they have a ball pit that I believe they call The Pool. I learned that there is a sanitizing system that cleans the balls constantly. So for the germ-a-phobes and people who get generally skeeved-out (ie - me) it appears to be a clean and safe environment to have a few minutes of kiddy fun. Oh, you KNOW I had to ask about how they plan to keep that thing clean. The music was mostly early 2000's with a smattering of some 90's hits. The space is vast and open with ample room to dance in the event that the actual dance floor is packed (which was the case the entire time we were there). We felt like we were at a big party. The crowd was so chill and so friendly, and the bartenders were on-point. I also liked that there are tables and stools throughout the entire space. It was refreshing to be at a dance club with patrons for whom chairs are not a throwing risk (ahem...Jersey Shore). I heard that it's been eons since Philadelphia has had a true dance club. If you're seeking a fun, clubby night out, then shimmy on over!
google avatar

Luke O.

Yelp
Great place! I've been there when they've opened and when they've closed, and the music vibe changes every time. In my opinion, the ice room is overrated, but the ball pit is lots of fun! Get there early to make sure you have space to enjoy it. Purple gatorade is my drink of choice. Bathrooms are a little weird, but what bars bathrooms aren't? Security is on top of it. Any dumb moves and people are escorted out, and I feel very comfortable and safe there.

Maddi C.

Yelp
We had a blast here! The ice bar is a must to check out, good music, young crowd. If you're looking to have a fun club experience in the city, this is a great spot. Drinks were a bit pricey, but it's expected. Bartenders were decent enough, if not a little attitudey, but it didn't hinder our experience. We will be back :)

Kev J.

Yelp
I went to Concourse tonight for my friends birthday and was randomly escorted out of the club. I was simply trying to get a drink when I was thrown out with no explanation. All of my friends were so confused and I just complied. I voluntarily walked out of the club after being told I had to leave with no explanation. I was severely uncomfortable and it ruined my night. I have never been so disrespected in my life, and I have no intention of returning. Neither do any of my friends. The funny part is that before we went, some of my friends told me they didn't want to go because of the security. They had awful experiences in the past, noting that they were homophobic and transphobic. I wondered if it was a fluke.... but it probably wasn't. I don't know how the security came to the conclusion that they needed to kick me out, but it was extremely unjust. This club is not even close to being fun enough to deal with the security.

Yelp
If you're not 24 but want to feel 24, you're coming to the right place! The girls and I arrived just after opening. Only a handful of people were here, freezing, but fun music playing that I remember from high school. There were two main big bars, the dance floor and of course, the ball pit. We weren't specially dressed for a ball pit but since it was early and found a moment no one was in it, we took the opportunity and so happy we did. Worth it. I wasn't sure what to drink but went for a Cosmo. 10 bucks, tiny cup, strong as hell. I was only able to handle 2 lol. It comes from a tap which is pretty wild. As the night went on, this place got packed. I think the best spot to hang out is in the upstairs bar, at the overlook. The music slowly turned into just EDM and everybody was sweating. We left after midnight, ears ringing, feet in heels killing us, but it was a really fun night. No dress code, but fellas, learn to dress to impress ;)

Jessi M.

Yelp
Two mixed drinks costed us $50+ and they weren't even strong. The place seems dirty and grungy even though the concept of all the rooms seems fun. The crowd is definitely on the grungier side too. Overall a weird, expensive experience that was not worth it by any means
google avatar

Samantha H.

Yelp
Came here with friends. Love the concept. This is a nightclub but so much more. Aside from the regular nightclub setup (which has a slide to the dance floor), they also have an ice bar which is very cool. They also have an "illusion room" which is cool for pictures. The best part is the ball part. Seriously could spend all night here. Drinks were fine and typical for what you'd expect somewhere like this. Now my reasoning for the lower star rating is the bouncers. It is like Fort Knox here. First warning, do not come here with expired ID! So this part is really my fault. I came here with a group of friends and had no idea my ID had expired. They were really not going to let me in because of it even though I am 28. Thankfully, we were able to go online and renew it right there. Of course, by this point when we finally got in we had to pay a higher cover. My second experience with them was at the end of the night. I guess we were in the restrooms when the place shut down for the night. There were lots of people in there. The bouncers came and turned off the bathroom lights and started yelling at everyone to get out. The way they talked to us was literally disgusting. I get running a tight ship to keep the place under control, but as a respectful law abiding citizen spending money there, I don't appreciate being spoken to like a prisoner! Overall, this place is a fun time just be warned. Kinda turned me off from coming back.

Yelp
So much fun can't wait to go back had a blast and incredible dance music!!! Also 10 out of 10 drinks!
google avatar

Jonathan C.

Yelp
Ball pit was fun. We got there at 10PM on a Friday night and there was no line to the ball pit. Cover fee is $5. Definitely come early because once this place hits 11PM, it will be crowded. Many bouncers/staff overseeing everything makes it very safe. Upstairs bar has a nice little lounge area and is a bit quieter when you're tired of the dancing. Will be coming back again!
google avatar

Jake H.

Yelp
I really had a good time here. The place was really big and had a lot to offer! The ball pit is a must while also checking out the ice room. Although the ice room is small, you don't get to see that in the bar that often. I recommend getting there early so you can find a spot to chill out if you don't want to hit the dance floor. Otherwise, the staff was very nice, good music selection, and with the right group of friends your bound for a good time! Hope I get to come back here soon!
google avatar

Abby M.

Yelp
Attended an event here last weekend! We loved the set up and how social distanced we were. With the ticketed event, we felt very safe. With our event, we received 3 drink tickets, 3 food items & access to 3 different rooms throughout the bar. One of the rooms was also an ice bar. The 3 food items were philly soft pretzels, 2 mini cheesesteaks and a tasty cake! Very cool idea!
google avatar

Brittany H.

Yelp
I went to Concourse for their Friday happy hour with some coworkers. The place in general has a very 90s feel which I totally loved. Aside from some good music, they have two floors (although only one was open at this one), a separate dance floor, and of course, the ball pit. Drink specials were $3 well drinks. Different bartenders had different pours and my first drink wasn't even close to being filled all the way which was a bummer. I could only imagine that this gets worse as the night goes on. The ball pit was really fun. I'd recommend giving it a try if you have had a flu shot or a really good immune system. I'm sure the line for the ball pit eventually becomes overwhelming, but it definitely wasn't bad at 9 pm.
google avatar

Christopher A.

Yelp
The concourse is a great place to go! The ball pit and ice bar added to the experience and bartenders were pretty solid.
google avatar

Jessica V.

Yelp
Disappointed in the Pre-paid $41 for the 3 room, food, and 3 drink special including the ice bar room. The experience was not worth $41 and am disappointed I paid that much. The drinks were very cool to see, all halloween themed but they were so weak they mainly just tasted like soda where I think I left more sober than when I went in. The "snacks" we got at each room I would rate a 1/10. We all went thinking we would be getting decent food as we were told we'd get soft pretzels, cheesesteak, and a tasty cake. The soft pretzel consisted of 5 bite size nuggets. The cheesesteak was the most disappointing as it was maybe 3 bites with about 10 chips on the side. The advertisements were deceiving when it came to the food. We all went in having not eaten dinner, left, and went straight to order food somewhere because we were starving. The only cool part was the Ice bar. That was a great time but you can't bring any food or drinks in the freezer so you look around for a few minutes then leave. The two other rooms (light and mirror) were unimpressive where I didn't even see a mirror. The staff was very fun and energetic with many COVID precautions in place however, overall we were very disappointed with the event.

Yelp
I stopped here over the weekend with a group of friends to celebrate a bachelorette party. We arrived around 11PM and there was already a line to get in. Cover was $5 which is pretty cheap considering the area. I had an interesting experience to say the least. The crowd was mixed with people of different backgrounds and most of them being in their early to mid-20's. The music confused me-the dj was mixing some 2000's, 90's and earlier songs with club/techno beats. At one point he played a club version of a Prince song and at another point he was playing some old Whitney Houston. The music was ok with me and the younger crowd seemed to enjoy it as well. There are two large bars on the main floor and just up a set of stairs there is a second stair case with another bar and the VIP areas. We frequented the upstairs bar to avoid long waits. The dancefloor was jam packed to a point where you could barely do a twostep. Guests would plow into to you to try to make space on the dance floor and my feet were splashed with a mixture of beer and mixed drinks by the end of the night. At the risk of sounding like an old lady, "back in my day we said excuse me as we tried to squeeze through the dance floor and if we spilled our drinks we would apologize". There I said it! The best part of this experience was my short lived trip to the ball pit. The bridesmaids made a reservation for the group which was great because there would have been a 90 minute wait otherwise. I was told you could grease the hostess at $5 a head if you didn't want to wait in line. Drinks were not allowed in the ball bit. When it was our turn we had to remove our shoes and were given socks to put on our feet and rubber straps to secure our phones so we wouldn't lose them in the balls. We were in there about 10 mins which was just enough time to snap a few pics, take a video and be submerged eyeball deep in plastic balls just before we were yelled at to get out. The ball pit was just under waist deep and it was still difficult to walk/crawl through but very fun! As it got later it was just too crowded to enjoy myself. Between being bumped into constantly and losing members of the group we had enough and left around 1:30. As we were leaving there was still a line to get in. Long story short I had an ok time and the ball pit was fun but I don't think I would visit again...

Funtastic time at the Concourse! It was a waste of time and money when we went to Vango prior to coming here. It was just nothing happening and trashy at Vango. Fortunately, I remembered the Concourse Dance Bar that I had seen on yelp, and suggested to my party that we just walk there since it was in the vancity. We knew we were in for a fun time when we saw a long line of people waiting to get in on a Saturday night. The wait to get in was about 10 minutes. Once we got in, we paid a $5 cover charge and proceeded in. Walking down into the venue, it was electrifying and lit! The colorful lights and fun music was the best introduction. It was super packed inside which may or may not be your cup of tea. The ball pit is the notable part of this dance bar. Although it looked fun, it was very crowded so we skipped the wait. I'd like to try it another time when it's not as crowded. Saturdays are 90's/00's (if I'm not mistaken) so it was a mix of that era's music. Each day has a different theme. It's a good mix of people and mostly a young crowd of seemingly 20somethings. I had a really good time and so glad this place saved the night!

Yelp
DJs are bad. Playing stale songs from 6+ years ago and when they do finally play something decent and relevant they only play a poorly remixed 45 seconds of the song

Yelp
The set up and lay out of the location is really cool. Definitely something different for the night/club scene. Would recommend it for anyone not from Philly looking to go out. The bartenders however a little off .

Yelp
Have you ever wanted to meet every person in Philly at the same time? If you did, come here. Everyone is here or in the long line outside. I'm not sure if the fire marshal even knows about this place. Quick note, if you are a guy looking to meet women, then don't go to the dance floor. Head to the back, where all of the women are waiting in line for the restrooms. I've never seen a bouncer at the women's restroom door, but it is appreciated to prevent cutters. Anyways, this place has a ball pit. You can either grab the next spot of pay a few bucks to reserve a time. We went in a few times before 9:00 pm. At that point, we had to wait hours. I'm good for the rest of my life. Plastic cup bars are not where I want to be. Wait hours for five minutes in the pit. I'm sure I'll be back, because my wife is insane. When you get in, you can take the stupid steps or you could ride an awesome enclosed slide. We chose the slide. There is a coat check and a few bars surrounding the dance floor. This is going to be the most happening place this summer. Get in line now...

Yelp
We had a blast here! The atmosphere was fantastic! The dance area is soooooo big! And love the ball pit! Expect that our phones are taken by staff which is reasonable, in case the lost in the pool. Haven't eaten or drink anything here. But the service are good! No people are smoking cigarettes or vaping. Air is clean. But the music can be better. dj is not that good

Yelp
The music definitely needs to be updated but besides that it was a good atmosphere. Drinks weren't that expensive.

Yelp
Ever since COVID, my friends and I were so sad to see the closing of Concourse. But ever since they reopened as an ice bar, we have loved it. We have been here twice since the reopening and it is very COVID safe. The tables are distanced and you have to reserve tables so there are a limited number of people in each room at a time. The ice bar was very cool, and picturesque. The food and drinks included in the ticket price were well worth it as well!

Yelp
The music had the be absolute worst track list i could have ever fathomed. I can't make the comprehend how anyone could put the songs together and say "Yes, i should play this at the dance bar tonight." Other than the horrible music, the ball pit was pretty cool, ice room has its niche and the mirror room was meh. Fuzzy pillars were a unique touch. If they could play music that's even mediocre at best i would give it a higher rating.

Yelp
This venue has many pros and cons and is definitely growing in attendance because of the online videos about it all over Facebook. It's a place you have to visit once but definitely don't need to again. Pros: - no dress code, everyone just wants to have a good time not be flashy in uncomfortable clothing - has a ball pit - fun decor - top 40's playlist - the line to get in moves fast - always a 5$ cover - they offer 30$ open bars from 8-10 if you bring 10+ people (check it out online) Cons: - dance floor is so so so small you have to dance in between the tables - the floor is ridiculously sticky - the ball pit has a 30 min line, always - drinks are pricey - ball pit is kind of gross - music isn't anything to be remembered - no vip or bottle service It's definitely a place you need to hit up in philly on a night out if you're visiting.

Yelp
I love Concourse! I've been twice and both times were positive experiences. Go early to avoid long lines and claim your spot on the dance floor. The crowd on each visit has been really diverse and I love that! Everyone busting a move in harmony is always a great thing. The Friday night DJ was on point last night, mixing tons of old school jams with newer music. He read the crowd really well and made adjustments as needed. I wasn't drinking but my friend had a couple different cocktails, including the grape crush and a fishbowl. I had a sip of each and thought the grape crush was surprisingly delicious - like a grape popsicle! Our bartender at the back bar with long blonde hair was a total doll. I'm already planning my next visit and can't wait to get my dance on again!

Yelp
Went here in 2018 and it was awesome. My friend lost his house keys in the ball pit and I loss my glasses + my hat but you know what? It was worth it! Great night and I've wanted to go back ever since.

Yelp
Concourse Ice Bar was an amazing experience, and definitely worth our money. We walked in and got three drink and food tickets, all of which were in 3 different locations. Every table was very distant, so we felt very safe. Halloween themed cocktails were incredible and very strong. We were very pleased they used top shelf liquor and had really good music. The ice lounge was also amazing and socially distant as well. Would recommend to any person visiting or wanting something to do here in Philly.

Yelp
A group of friends and I arrived at the Concourse one Friday night around 10pm, and there was no line outside. Relieved, we went downstairs and made our way straight for the ball pit. Surprisingly there was no line at the ball pit either! The ball pit was huge, and in it there were probably 10-12 other people, but still a lot of room for everybody to spread out and have fun. After a while, we got ourselves out of the ball pit and to the dance floor. The dance floor was filled with people, but also not super crowded and the DJ was playing a mix of everything from early 2000s to the current hit songs. There are also table tops outside of the dance area where you can just sit/stand. Overall, I had low expectations coming in, with the low yelp rating and all, but had a great time and would definitely return.

Yelp
Take your pics in the ball pit and leave.... the Dj was trash ... I literally felt like I was in a car just listening to Q102... not much fading nothing really went together it was just toooo random... *** ohh I forgot to mention the ball pit line was long and claimed to be closed when I got there... but then they started charging $5 to get in 20minutes later...... I did it however ppl started jumping the line and saying yes they paid.... what was the point of you guys getting our names if you weren't checking the list of who paid... I'm so confused but I'm not sweating over $5 ooh they sell hot dogs right outside the entry doors... if ya hungry lol. Pretty mixed crowd(ages and diversity wise) I didn't stay for a drink but the menu seemed moderate. Cute place for pics that's about it.

Yelp
Interesting bar that keeps a line out of the door just for aesthetics. Clientele is diverse, kind of reminds me of Coda with the lights, dancing and dance floor/stage area. Drinks are super reasonable. Ball pit was fun at the beginning, but at the end there was over an hour wait to spend 5 minutes, and the people going inside were pretty much boring and just trying to take instagram photos. Lockers in the back make it easy to keep your stuff in one place, but the venue lets in so many people, the lines outside and the lines for the bathroom are like concert size. I'd say the lights, fuzzy walls, and vibe are good for chilling, but dancing, not so much. Right in the middle of the city though, so convenient if you want to try out something new in center city!
