Seattle Restaurant Openings for September 2025 | Eater Seattle

"Back after a hiatus, this former Olive Way takeout torta window has returned as the sister business to the women’s sports bar Pitch the Baby, now offering tortas alongside small plates like fried Oaxacan cheese and, for the first time, full sit-down seating." - Harry Cheadle

Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings - Seattle - The Infatuation

"Here’s the 2.0 version of Torta Condesa— a popular torta window that used to be right next to Montana. The new sit-down location has dishes like fried Oaxacan cheese, Moroccan fritters, and of course, tortas. And it shares the building with sister bar Pitch The Baby, so you can have dinner and then watch women's sports." - kayla sager riley, gabe guarente, aimee rizzo

We had a really nice meal here. Tasty drinks, and the food was great, especially the potato fritter torta. The restaurant is connected inside to the bar next door. We enjoyed sitting on the quieter restaurant side.

Friendly service and good vibe, but the food was just okay. The queso was bad: very bland with no spices, seemed like just velveeta. The pozole was okay, but Saint Bread’s is way better. The other food we had was tastier but very heavy and greasy. The salsa was decent, though.

Came here for the new brunch menu; it did not disappoint. There’s something so amazing about getting a steaming bowl of pozole on a drizzly Seattle Sunday morning. The red pozole had generous chunks of pork and all the fixings. Go check Condesa out!

Tortas are big and a bit messy but taste pretty good!

Ordered Posole, waited 45 minutes with the server telling me it was on the way multiple times. I finally go up and ask the chef and he tells me it’s 86’d for the night. I was really looking forward to eating here and I’m extremely disappointed.
